still thinking about that one post about mutual aid and organizations. One person answered: i don't want to spend to organizations because i'm not sure if the money is used for the people so i rather give to individuals. if this is your concern i'd advice you to look for shelters/soup kitchens/organizations in your hometown. believe me they also need money and they do good work. and you can see for yourself if your money is put to good use. but organizations/institutions are always stronger than individual charaties. Because you are pooling funds, you're dividing labor, more people are trying etc. etc. 10 years ago giving individuals money over the internet was frowned upon because there are a lot and i mean a LOT of scammers around. this problem has gotten worse today. use your money wisely

Spn PSA

Hi. I have a public request to everyone. Please try to respect the Spn fandom. Over the course of next year we will all go through a difficult time. And then the show will end. Many of us will break and fall. Some will go on some will cry everyone will cope in their own way. But I know some will break. And that's all right. We will all deal according to our feelings and emotions connected to the show. So please be kind and don't make fun of us. Specially if you see someone really upset or breaking.

Don't say get over it. This post is about this one line. Please for the sake of kindness don't use this line. Because for a moment consider what you are asking. Get over what? 15 years of investment and emotional bond? Yeah it will take time. For some more than others. No show has had this much time and investment and larger impact and the influence and emotional bond. The spn fandom and its bond with the show the cast the actors is unprecedented. So please be kind.

If you are not one us you won't get it. To you it's just a show yes that's true but it's a show that become family. Relationships were made frineds were found cummunities were build charaties were made. The cast and the enitre Spn family have a bond that is transdental. It is tangible yet something you can not understand.

You don't have to understand. You just have to be kind and respectful. Soon after the finale someday somehow we will move on. We won't forget but we will move on. But the finale will hit us and it will hit some people very hard. 15 years people it's huge. So be kind. And the people in the fam. I trust you. I know we are there for one another. A small look or a touch can trigger someone so be kind and please don't judge.

Thank you. Spn fam we are not weak. We are the lucky ones who felt too much who loved too much. If you cry for someone that's other than yourself then you had the capacity for unselfish love and the gift of care. You were the lucky one that in this cold world your soul felt so much love that it made you cry and scream. So let's ride this final ride together. Be there for one another. I love you all.

Spn changed lives it saved lives. You can get over a show but you can not get over something that became an inseprable part of your life. Became a family. So remember be kind and respectful.

I’ve gone ‘Nutty’ (ornaments)

I’ll post a pic later when I have more done and can display nicer, but I’ve made 16 regular stuffed ornaments and 7 (at the post) bead candy canes for a tree for a city contest. Prize winners is a donation to charaties in the city.

I’ve also got to get more garland or tinsel... aluminum tree effect? Why? Misjudged the height... 🤦🏼‍♀️

I haven’t put up my tree (first time in 12+ years I’ll have one up)...

I am going to be dreaming about these ornaments...and IR rescue me from them...

It’s a legitimate charity but you know that people are bidding for the prize with the cause being a bonus.

Anon 3: What do the mods think of his last post? Is it common for celebs to sell dates? To me it seems in bad taste.

Anon 4: People only know how to complain. Donate to your institutions you know. He's not the first celebrity to do a charaty meeting, it's about raising the most money and attracting attention to a cause that few talk about. I know two people who won one for a meeting with a big celebrity years ago, it was great.

Switch the word “date” with “meet and greet” - it’s the same thing. Semantics.

What do people think Omaze is? Or any other charity that has meet n greets as prizes for donations? This isn’t a new concept, y’all!

It arrived!!!

When my mom told me that she had news that was sure to brighten my day (I had at this point been waiting for days for my luggage to catch up where I was and my mood was sour to say the least - lack of change of clothes would do that to you) I was idly curious.

But then through the video chat she braught into view a familiar cover with four intriging designs on it and I laughed and clapped excitedly. For one moment I felt like a child during christmas who’ve opened a present to get exactly what they wanted.

But then my bubble of pure joy inflated because I realized one very important detail…I was half a world away and it will be more then two month before I get to hold the beauty that is the @supernaturalartbook in my hands.

It has been a pleasure to see every post about this project ping on my phone with every update and I know I have something good waiting for me when I get back home.

Alas, this means I don’t have a picture of the actual book, but rest assured that it will be one of the first thing I do when I get to hold that book in my hands. Naturally i will be posting that as well.
