“Aurélien?”

Aurélien would say that as a professional athlete, sleeping has got to be the one aspect of a lifestyle like his that had been undermined like crazy. It’s always stamina, and focus, and strength. But lack of sleep causes your body to gain deadweight—it will grow to rot, stewing in stress while eventually weakening.

This fact had been drilled in his mind.

Sleep. Sleep. Sleep.

Even resting is not the same as sleeping.

It is so easy to listen to people in a pair of overpriced joggers and headband ramble on and on about the importance of actually getting the proper amount of sleep, but when you are faced with the reality of a hurt knee joint, or a deteriorating passing performance, your brain just can’t help but insist that instead of spending your nights on the bed, you should be on treadmill, or on a field.

His knee aches, and it shakes. Aurélien had been staring at an empty for the past half an hour or so, the muscles in his legs screaming at him to take a small jog around his house to feel some sort of long-needed adrenaline.

He has enough of being on the bench, if he can just be frank.

Hearing your voice calling out to him in the pitch black, he tenses for a moment, looking behind him, his eyes already adjusted to the dark. “Yes, my love?”

“Are you here?”

Aurélien chuckles, shifting so that he could get a better view of your closed eyes. His hand reaches to stroke your head. “Where else would I be?”

“Not sleeping?” You ask, mumbling your words. You open one eye, trying to search for him, before giving up and closing them again. “Come here, baby, you gotta sleep.”

“I will,” he laughs softly, leaning down to place a soft kiss against your forehead.

“No,” you pout, scooching over to his side of the bed, gripping his arm. “Come here,” you whine, “I wanna hug— wanna cuddle.”

“Aww, “ he coos, giving in to the sweet sound of your whine. He throws himself under the blanket, sprawling one arm under your head while the other wraps itself around your waist. “Are you comfortable?”

You murmur your answer, unclear, before repeating with a quiet, “Yeah, yeah.”

Aurélien watches the way your eyes open lightly, then close again. Your breath is slow, relaxed, and even through the dark, he can see your pretty face change into one expression from the other, as though you have gone back to the land of dreams.

He moves, pressing himself closer against you, lips on top of your nose, before timidly calling out your name, like he is afraid that he would take away some of your precious sleeping time.

When he sees that you did not answer, he chuckles to himself. “I love you,” he says again, still somewhat terrified that he will wake you up, “I love you so much.”

“That’s an awful idea” Gareth states from the other side of the room. 

“It’s not as bad as the one he had for the Leave You music video,” Jeff adds helpfully. 

“It’s one of our biggest hits,” Frank chimes in.

Eddie is just waiting for the band to reach the right conclusion.It’s such a bad idea that it actually makes it a genius one. Eddie knows it and he’s known it ever since he woke up in the middle of the night with it forming in his brain. 

They need another hit. Eddie has just the song for that, called Hate That I Loved You, about all the times he failed at love. Which were… a good amount. 

The song is good. Harsh, loud, heartbreaking. Eddie might’ve cried when he first played it acoustic on his guitar, all alone after getting dumped by his last boyfriend. 

It’s about how he’s never good enough for anyone. It’s raw. 

“Fine, let’s do it,” Gareth finally gives in and Eddie just smiles. His idea is as painful as the song. He’s going to call his exes and ask them to be in the music video. The song is not so much about them, it’s more about Eddie himself, but he likes the dramatic effect of having to face all his mistakes in one day as he sings his heart out.

He knows the tabloids will eat that shit up. He knows it’s the push the band needs to blow up and exactly the edgy, weird shit everyone expects from them He’s willing to take one for the team. He’s doing it

Pre production rolls around quickly, Chrissy is too damn good at her job, and soon it’s time for Eddie to do the hard part. He needs to call the exes and ask them. 

He has six in total, he will be happy if he gets five to participate, but will settle for four. Knows two are harder.

David, Sean and Pedro are in from the start. It’s not surprising, really, they broke up in friendly terms, still talk sometimes, and are happy to indulge Eddie’s crazy ideas. Always had been. 

His first no comes with Josh. He thought it was an easy yes but he was wrong.

Josh is happily married and not looking for any drama in his life and Eddie means drama. He can’t argue. Eddie winces as he remembers serenading Josh while high out of his mind, making noise under his dorm window like an idiot. Josh hangs up before Eddie can beg and that’s it.

That leaves him with 3 yes and 2 that he doesn’t know. Despite still being hurt by the break-up, Eddie calls Lou first. Lou is… Hard. His voice sends chills down Eddie’s spine and he almost chickens out. He’s the one that set Eddie off with this song, to begin with.

He’s the one that makes Eddie feels like he’s far from being enough. He’s the one who told Eddie he was selfish and unlovable and Eddie knows he still feels it as Lou flirts with him through the phone. 

He’d never been good to Eddie but he was what Eddie thought he deserved it.

“Of course I’ll star in your video, babe,” Lou agrees easily and Eddie wishes he’d said no. Eddie thinks there’s still time for him to back down from the idea. Knows the guys would understand. Knows they all remember having to drag Eddie out of bed after a week of wallowing.

He stands his ground. Thinks this might be what he needs to get over Lou. To get him out of his system forever. 

He also stands his ground because he knows the next number by heart. Had known it for the past 7 years and couldn’t really get rid of it.

His brain cling to Steve just like his heart had. 

He feels dizzy as the line rings and feels like he’s going to faint as Steve’s voice comes through the speaker. 

“Hello?”

“Steve, hey. It’s, um, it’s Eddie.”

The silence is so loud Eddie thinks he’s gone deaf.

“Eddie?”

“Munson. You know, from-”

“I know,” Steve’s voice gets so small Eddie wishes he had never called. “What…”

Whatever question he has dies on Steve’s throat and Eddie doesn’t blame him. 

“Sorry to call like that. I, um, I need a favor?”

“…ok?”

Eddie explains it all. He talks about the band, the song, the video idea. He talks for almost ten minutes and he just keeps going because he can hear Steve’s breathing on the line.

“So, that’s it. You can say no, no hard feelings but I… would like if you said yes”

It feels like a low blow, but Steve says yes and Eddie pushes the guilt away from his brain. He’ll get to see Steve soon. Less than a week. He can’t help the butterflies blooming on his stomach. 

He fucking missed Steve.

Hi! So I want to make a Spooky Month OC but I suck at drawing, do you have any tips or advices about drawing characters in the Spooky Month artstyle?

Okay so, I might not be the right person for this, cause I also am not all that great at drawing in the Spooky Month artstyle, but I did some character design at school so I might be able to give a few tips! Please do take everything I say with a grain of salt tho!

Spooky Month's strong suit is definitely character design. It's SO expressive and well done it's genuinely unreal. You might want to know exactly what your character is gonna be doing, or how their personality is gonna be like, because character design in Spooky Month cares a lot about things like these. For example: Radford works at a cinema, so of course he's wearing 3D glasses, but also his HAIR IS LITERALLY SHAPED LIKE A POPCORN.

So maybe decide on a job for your character, and try to start from there, get crazy with shapes and have fun! Spooky Month characters have designs that are both extremely simple to draw, since they use mostly basic shapes, but also are extremely thought out and meaningful. Another example of great character design is Pump

Now, I have no idea if you already had an OC in mind, but make sure to choose the right shapes to represent it. Something I see around in the fandom is people making these OCs that are like, serial killers and dangerous people and stuff, but then give them the "Lila"-like oval head. And honestly, nothing wrong with that, that's a choice you can use! But still, shapes allow us to understand a lot about how a character is just by looking at them. So you might want to experiment around a bit!

Ovals in Spooky Month are the "good" shape, let's just say. Most character with an oval head are sweet, helpful, kind-natured! It's often paired with oval eyes, so it's mostly a shape that's used for not villainous characters.

Circles are a bit more complicated, because Spooky Month subvertes the Circle Characters. While yes, they're also used to draw children, such as Skid and Pump, so they may come off as unthreatening at first, most main villains, such as Eyes, Bob and Dexter Doll (which is meant to represent the likes of a child, so that's a nice contrast), are mostly circle-shaped.

There's a very wide range of Square characters in Spooky Month. Square characters are usually bulky, big and strong. They often come off as threatening (such as Moloch), but there are so many other fun things you can do with them. Like, take Frank. EVERYTHING in his design should alarm us, him being square-shaped, the black eyes, the wide smile. Yet, he has a shape of the eyes that's very relaxed and chill, so we end up trusting him. As for Dexter, he's a mix of circles and squares, so we can't really understand his intentions right away, because he's shaped in the most confusing way possible. He's just made to be unsettling and leaving us to wonder if he's a bad guy or just an oddball.

You can do SO MANY fun things by mixing up shapes of faces and eyes it's INSANE. Also, you can mix up other characters' features to create a new one, if you're planning to do a fankid or stuff like that. Look at Ross, he's literally a mixture of all his parents' features!

My main tips for drawing in the Spooky Month artstyle are mostly

1) Play around with shapes. Be as cartoony as possible.

2) Try to be consistent with proportions, because, based on personal experience, if you draw the pupils of the eyes slightly off it changes the whole character's expression drastically

3) don't worry too much about details, Spooky Month has a very simple artstyle. You don't have to draw a perfectly anatomically correct hand, just whip up some cartoony three-to-four fingers and you're good to go

4) try to redraw some pre-existing screenshots from the serie to get familiarity with the way Pelo draws expressions. It helps a bunch.

it’s honestly kind of mind boggling to think about the mindset differences between chb and cj and how it impacted the way each camp was run if that makes sense ??

like chb’s mindset pre meeting cj was that they needed to live their lives one day at a time and expect death at every turn but also be grateful that your here and alive

like to me chb is a camp bc it’s trying to cater to the fact that it’s 90% young children running around like we’re trying to keep things fun to keep kids from wanting to leave and also give them this idea of fake comfort

the “old kids” are still teens and your expected life span is like 20 if your lucky and don’t expect to suddenly be set free at 20 nono your still going to fight every day of your life while also keeping this side of yourself secret as to not get others or yourself hurt bc remember your a freak lol

then you look at cj and yeah that’s a child labour camp but your surrounded by a city of potential you can retire and you can see your entire lineage living and breathing here in a space of your own

like cj always seemed to have a more grown up air around it bc outside the camp they were surrounded by adults, everything is more grown up- the progression of the city, the people who live there, and the way it’s run like a legit army and not a field trip gone wrong

at cj your there to learn how to protect the city this is an army and you are a soldier vs chb which is riddled with a child’s touch bc that’s who lives there

like it literally takes percy’s generation of campers who watched the mistakes of the generation before them to make even the slightest bit of change which (aside from the claiming) was literally just them expanding and gaining some type of political upgrade while cj has a whole ass government

like how crazy is that

i could imagine percy talking to hazel of frank abt that in son as he’s getting his memories back and he just happens to sprinkle that in with other facts he’s remembering abt chb and their like

“?? tf you mean the oldest kids you knew from camp were only ljke 3 years older then you? like they moved out after that or..oh they died? wow. oh they never actually even made it out of camp..wow..and the like actual oldest camper you knew changed to the dark side and was the vessel for kronos/saturn??..right..”

and like obv some cj kids can relate to chb kids bc they’ve also been uprooted from their homes to live at cj but we can literally read from percy how nice it is just to have a future to look towards

also i know there is a future for chb to a degree but it’s just crazy the amount of work with barely any reward alongside the fact that it’s borderline discouraged to think that way

Random 2:30 Thought

So I'm just up thinking and honestly I'm thinking about HOO and like, what if the conflict between the Greek and Roman camps was bigger than what it was.

Like, thinking about a way to integrate the Ottomans and Franks (I wanted to put Byzantine but they didn't have a religion pre Christianity and I'm sure not sure how that would be integrated, maybe in a way similar to Egyptian magicians??)

Because the Greeks have a long history outside of Romans and basically struggled for true independence for a very long time.

Could possibly develop an issue that goes deeper than the Athena Parthenos, grudges of the ancestors still being carried by modern demigods, just because they were told to hate these people.

Have the Seven be a mixture of all of these (could get a magnus chase crossover with the Franks since their religion was essentially of Norse origin I think lol.)

We have characters learning to overcome their prejudice and going through conflicts. Having one character (probably Percy) being the one to truly bring everyone together. The Uniter of [insert some cool title here] and bringing everyone together.

Them trying not to fall apart in the inevitable Tartarus fall and them pulling themselves back together on their way to the house of hades and the doors of death and becoming found family.

(I still think Percy should've killed Gaea imo and he was written off too quickly as not an option, especially when he was talking about killing Gaea w his bare hands or something like that so.) And finally at the end the camps (or whatever they'd consider themselves to be) finally uniting with the "death?" of Percy and his honorable sacrifice, the beginning of a new future, ambassadors being set up, facilities being built. All of the camps would unite maybe under an alliance, one more step to the actual safety of demigods (now that they're being claimed).

I dunno it sounds sort of cool since Greece and their history is really crazy, so bringing it all together against one of the strongest primordial beings, fixing what's broken, bringing hope for new generation of demigods is just wow.

As I'm writing this, I honestly could do something for the Byzantine Empire as far as including them, I'd just make them more like the Egyptian Magicians compared to demigods.

As for how they'd meet for the first time, that's a little complicated, especially because having five leaders or people from five separate camps seems a little too much.

Maybe the quest would go as normal but like at the beginning it's just Jason, Percy, Hazel, and Annabeth (maybe not "officially" being apart of the Seven but instead just being there for the Mark of Athena? I just feel like Hazel would only really work as apart of the Greco-Roman pantheon just because of her backstory directly relating to Gaea like it does so I wouldn't be able to revamp her character and drop her in another pantheon) traveling to pick up the rest of Seven.

Anyways I've been writing this for twenty minutes so I think I'll stop lol.

As someone who thinks they might be a stone top, I’d love to hear more of your thoughts on them because there really isn’t a lot of x readers that fit that category

finally getting around to answering this because something crazy hasn't come up.

stone tops are fucking fantastic. i love stone tops. for people who don't fully know what a stone top is, a stone top is someone who strictly only gives in sex. so topping, oral, fingering, etc. but never receiving and this can be due to a plethora of reasons. it can be due to sexual trauma, dysphoria, whatever, and each person has an individual boundary. so, for example, one might be okay with having lie their hips touched, but another may say "absolutely no touch at all unless i am the one initiating it". each stone top has different boundaries and restrictions, but ultimately it's all about the person you're talking to. you can also be a sub stone top if you're introducing power dynamics, and you can even be a stone top for a power bottom.

note: some people think this is relegated to only butches and mascs, but stone femmes also exist and are very much loved. no matter what someone tells you, topping does not equate gender identity or gender presentation!

this may not be exactly what you were looking for anon, but the reason you don't see a lot of "stone top" type readers is because fandoms are very very cisheteronormative despite liking to act like this bastion of queer sex and identity lol. the majority of the x reader community consists of cishet sex, so the concept of "stone" doesn't apply in these situations. and, chances are, people that do write mlm, wlw, etc. aren't fully aware of "stone" identities or, in worse case scenario, mock them for being weird or "too much" in terms of boundaries. fandoms in general are uhhhhhh very weird about atypical queer presentations that deviate too much from "the norm" (eg. the smaller and more feminine one is typically the bottom, the bigger and most masculine one is typically the top), if i'm gonna be frank with you.

i have a few characters that i write/headcanon as being stone tops, and i'll probably make an entirely separate post for them because i don't want to clog up the tags with this whole post lol. ik i've written blade in the past as a t4t strict top and, looking back at it, he's definitely a stone top lol.

characters i see as a stone top in one way or another: trans!m!blade (t4t), trans!m!luka (leans towards t4t), sugilite (he is a strict stone top to me atm, but i am still debating on gender stuff with him), pre-bottom surgery trans!m!jing yuan, trans!m!gallagher (debating on making him a bear or a trans masc butch or both), trans!m!ratio (when i used to write for him), trans!f!soft butch sunday, trans!f!high femme robin, i could see trans!f!kafka being a stone top in some situations tbh, ruan mei

i also personally love the idea of a stone top!reader with a power bottom!capitano. stone top!reader/pillow princess!feixiao and stone top!reader/pillow prince(ss)!arlecchino are also great dynamics imho.

it's crazy that it took an incomplete season of HotD for the online film & tv commentary community to realize that the thing they hate about contemporary screenwriting is that many writers initially cut their teeth with fanfiction. like this hasn't been an obvious defect for like 8 years at this point. better late than never, i guess?

with HotD specifically, i think people are more willing to apply a critical lens to it because 1) game of thrones famously ended in a way that pleased no one 2) grrm is on the record criticizing it in a way that he hasn't done in the past

i think people are being a bit dramatic about how bad it was. it's incomplete for reasons out of the staff's hands. i think grrm is a bit on edge because he's getting old and it comes across pretty heavily in his blog posts that he's getting increasingly concerned about his legacy. but if this is where his concern lies, he should probably find some motivation to finish winds of winter. you're so close to being on the mount rushmore of fantasy writers, but you can't do that if your most famous work is unfinished. the only reasons why frank herbert was able to pull this one off is because dune works well enough as a standalone story (the ice & fire novels don't) and because his son worked tirelessly to promote him. there are no dune movies without brian herbert. same thing with tolkein, to some extent. grrm does not have any children to go around bothering people a la "look at all these amazing scifi stories my dad wrote pre ice & fire" when he's gone, and i'm pretty sure he's well aware of that.

there's kind of a lot going on here. but if this is what it takes for people to figure that out, whatever, i guess.

GIANT OCEAN PAINTING! ive seen one of these in person and it was crazy. irl my favourite painting is a giant ocean painting in a local gallery (not by aivazovsky) but i can't find a decent picture. obviously it's about the light and the diagonal lines with the waves/sails/clouds. you can feel the wind in that one.

OBVIOUSLY WE'RE EXPLORING SHAPE AND LIGHT. i ADORE how flat the lanterns are. genuinely so striking and gorgeous and WARM. i love the way theyre interacting too, it's so getting ready for the parades when i was in scouts.

For Victorian exploration including the FE, I always recommend Erebus by Michael Palin, William Battersby's Fitzjames biography, and Barrow's Boys by Fergus Fleming. Now, all of those books have their flaws as many nerds (like me) will tell you, but they are all great starting points and will introduce you to the cast of characters/run of events of that era. Once you've advanced a bit, you could check out Dave Woodman's Unraveling the Franklin Mystery for an intensely detailed look at Inuit testimony; The Spectral Arctic by Shane McCorristine for an academic exploration of ghosts and clairvoyance in Victorian exploration; or Finding Franklin by Russell Potter for an overview of the search expeditions up to the present day. Michael Smith's Crozier biography is also a solid read. (EDIT: I forgot The Man Who Ate His Boots by Anthony Brandt if you want to know more about Franklin himself and his earlier expeditions!)

If you're more interested in the late Victorian/Edwardian era, commonly referred to under the "Heroic Age" umbrella, you have a lot of potential starting points....

That era could be said to have begun in 1897 with the Belgica expedition, one of the most chaotic and insane expeditions of all time. Madhouse at the End of the Earth by Julian Sancton is a RIDE of a book (more like FRATHOUSE at the end of the earth, amirite) and will get you started with two of my favorite figures of the age: it was the polar origin story of Roald Amundsen, and where he met a pre-pole controversy Frederick Cook (HIS SOULMATE).

For more Amundsen after the Belgica, I really liked The Last Viking by Stephen Brown. You could also check out Roland Huntford's biography buuut this blog is a No Roland Zone so I am hesitant to recommend him, even though re: Amundsen he's more legit than elsewhere.

The Worst Journey In The World is a classic for a reason: a really beautiful and detailed first-person account of Scott's last expedition that is a pillar of travel writing and the foundation for much of the historiography that came after. However, you could also start with A First Rate Tragedy by Diana Preston (which I haven't read yet but comes highly recommended) or even Cherry's biography by Sara Wheeler which is really excellent. OH and the graphic novel version of Worst Journey just released its first volume which is a WONDERFUL introduction to the story! Buy it here and support the artist!

I've also really enjoyed all of the other first-person accounts I've read, many of which are free & in the public domain: With Scott: The Silver Lining by T. Griffith Taylor and The Great White South by Herbert Ponting are super interesting and give you a taste of what it was like to really be there.

For Shackleton, definitely start with Endurance by Alfred Lansing and go from there. Shackleton's Forgotten Expedition is a good second step & will get you background on him and Scott (& Wilson). I have had Shackleton: A Life In Poetry by Jim Mayer recommended to me as well but haven't read it yet. After that, Frank Worsley (captain of the Endurance) wrote two books which are great supplements: Shackleton's Boat Journey and another one just called Endurance. And Caroline Alexander's The Endurance is really good too but it's a coffee table book with nice pictures, so grab a hard copy!

And last but CERTAINLY not least, I May Be Some Time by Francis Spufford is the be-all and end-all of polar exploration nonfiction, IMO. I'm just finishing a reread right now actually—I first read it post-Franklin obsession but pre-Scott obsession and honestly, it's an entirely different book once you're crazy about the Heroic Age, so while I have recommended it in the past for people just getting started, and still do, at this point I also kind of want to tell people to maybe wait until you've already reached a certain level of derangement to dive into it.

Nacho is the delivery guy of Peppino and the main rival of The Noise.

He is a playful, energized dude, generally outgoing and kind, probably the most fun person you’ll ever meet!

He goes super fast with his rollers and might act as a superhero sometimes, he also looks like one too ☆.

He is generally nice, and frank; he is not the type to lie (unless it would be for his own safety…). He still likes being provoking, teasing others, especially towards his enemies, he doesn’t waste the eventual fun!

He is also used to often drink orange juice, like, a lot of it. might be the reason why he is so energized heh?

And because of how energized he is, he can’t stay still for a second! (or at least it’s pretty hard).

Our dear hero isn't only able to make deliveries for Peppino, but also a pretty good dancer, (maybe even singer?? ✨)! He usually moves a lot and would usually twist a lot if he does a pre-existing dance, he puts his own touch into it! He seems to share some in common with the Italian man too ★.

Not only that, he is pretty good at playing basketball or any kind of sports in general. This helped him to make more precise shots if he had to throw something that requires that (on an enemy for example). It seems Nacho also has a good strength, he can lift pretty heavy things! (Even Peppino, crazy right-)

The Chipster is also used of doing pretty acrobatic moves while running, it can be pretty impressive to see him jumping around everywhere…

Outside of work, Nacho likes to spend time playing videogames, or going to arcades, it's more fun with friends! he would probably beat you on DDR haha

He also enjoys going to the cinema, always with some popcorn ☆.

Nacho is also mostly a joyful guy, filled with joy and excitement ★. He is always hyper-vitamined, cannot take a break and needs to move and do something constantly! No wonder why he gathered multiple skills and hobbies to stretch that endless stamina he contains.

Nonetheless, he can still sometimes be moody due to being upset or too tired (if he didn’t sleep well for example). In this state he wouldn’t like things he would usually do...

Nacho also likes having some attention or just showing off in general ☆. He is flexing!!

He takes a lot of care about his appearance (hair included), he is a superhero after all!

It's not hard to flatter him and he would appreciate compliments and support quite a lot ☆.

Nacho also does not really care much about money, he is even the opposite of greedy : he loves gifting, sharing to others despite not being *extremely* rich, a generous lad! ★

And just like most superheroes, no one knows what Nacho looks like without his mask nor his true identity (is Nacho his real name??).

He said that he decided to look like this to make him look "swag and mysterious".

Nacho also likes to dress differently from time to time, but he will remain keeping his mask and sometimes his gloves too while doing so.

💢 The Noise

Nacho and him are main rivals. They hate each other, and cannot stand each other for a minute. They would usually fight a lot, but they sometimes enjoy themselves on rare occasions, even helping the other at times but it’s not common.

It seems they know each other before the events of Pizza Tower.

Nacho doesn’t entirely hate him, but The Noise is not in the same way and wants him gone...

💖 Noisette

Him and Noisette are good friends! They share quite a lot in common, sharing the same interests like stuff with wheels ☆.

He sometimes likes to help her out with her café just to give his help.

We could see them as besties! But this friendship doesn’t make The Noise really happy about it as you may have guessed… He can be jealous, and even feel humiliated seeing his rival hanging out with his girlfriend.

Nacho sometimes needs to be sneaky while trying to chat with Noisette, her boyfriend always has an eye on him.

He also always gives a tip whenever he comes to see her!

🍝 Peppino

Speaking of his relation with Peppino, they're on good terms, and could even consider them as good pals now.

He first met him by hearing Peppino needing some help with his pizzeria, and Nacho took the opportunity to be his delivery man. At that time Peppino wasn’t really benefiting that much, but Nacho insisted on being hired him. Seems like he wasn’t really looking for money for this job. Peppino was pretty skeptical at first, not knowing Nacho at all but ended up accepting.

As time passed, Nacho was able to impress the Italian man by showing how fast he was with his job, always asking when the next order is coming! He is very motivated. After after a while, Nacho could gain some money with tips, and since he is fast for delivering the boxes, people were usually generous with him, wanted to see him delivering them!

Though, I wonder if one of them got unsatisfied with the order to come too fast heh…

When they are off work, they sometimes spend time together to have fun ☆.

⭐️ Vigilante

They're both good cheesy friendos. Despite not spending a lot of time together, they still enjoy the time they spend when they do!

🍕 Pizzaface

Nacho and him are both true enemies. They both despise each other a lot, but they somehow can be cool but only in a comical way.

Pizzaface would messes a lot if Nacho was seen in the tower, Nacho does not hesitate a second to mock him or make him look like a fool!

Pizzaface doesn't want to deal with another speedy guy after all, and even more annoying.

⚙️ Nabot

Nacho and them are meant to be enemies. Nacho personally has nothing against Nabot but sees them more as a goofy robot who wants to defeat him. He is not worried about it though, he even takes it easy and prefers to tease them ☆.

❤️ Pepperoncino

Nacho only met him once. All he knows about Pepper' is that he was Peppino's mentor and that he is "a nice pizza".

his baseline level of unease is so high and he gets freaked out really easily lol i feel like he does... a lot of these to differing degrees, but i'd say he tends a bit towards 'fight' especially when it's an interpersonal issue. he provokes people on purpose when he's feeling uneasy around them and freaks out before he can think when he gets threatened (and he's reallyyy. touchy lol. so it happens often.) he gets mean and defensive and digs his heels in and makes things way worse than they need to be with all of the thrashing. it's really embarrassing for him

8- Would your OC ostensibly be able to get away with murder?

looool god no the guilt would eat him alive. his sense of morals mostly is built on 'something is bad if it hurts other people/fine if it's victimless' and he definitely finds loopholes in that to enable a lot of bad behavior but he's got a pretty intense sense of guilt and responsibility when it comes to other people's suffering... prone to ruminating on things until they drive him crazy... not a very good liar... really squeamish & would get grossed out by most methods of killing somebody. he'd do it and throw up and freak otu and then be like It's fine. Nobody has to know. to himself in the mirror and then 5 hours later think about 'what if getting killed hurt. or that guy had a family who's looking for him now. What if he never found true love and now he never will.' and would turn himself in and beg for the death penalty within like a week tops

nooot really? there are some features or general vibe I pulled from existing people, but he wasn't fully modeled after anybody. His pre-campaign + slightly younger appearance was designed to look handsome but nondescript/a slightly above average Just Some Guy from the 50s. I had buddy holly on the mind as a stock average guy vibe-wise but he's not totally modeled after him.

the closest i've gotten to a real face claim was seeing Robert Q. Lewis in some supporting role of an old movie and being like AHH...HE HAS VALDES'S REALLY SPECIFIC SMILE/DIMPLE/MOUTH SHAPE. the eyes and upper half of the face not so much but this is his resting smirk-y expression to a T

Doc’s Quarterly Patreon Book Thing: Mystery/Crime

Okay, so, I’ve been trying to think about how I want to do this, which is basically letting my patreons force me to read a book. I have picked three genres I would say I do not read a lot of, but I know y'all do, and then the fourth quarter will be either open season, nonfiction, or as a children’s book for children, I haven’t decided.

SO. Nominations will be opened on the Patreon Apr 4th. RULES AND THINGS TO KNOW/HOW THIS WILL WORK:

For this quarter, the genre must be MYSTERY OR CRIME (Nonfiction permitted). Below, I point out some fantasy novels I have enjoyed and negative-enjoyed, which’ll give you both an idea of what i like and what I might consider mystery/crime (A tough line). Just good faith effort.

Must think I would like it. You don’t have to think it’ll slay me and change my life, but this isn’t ‘let’s clown on Doc’. I am doing this in good faith and I assume you will nominate in good faith.
