🌸 ⊹ ࣪ ˖ "do you have any pets? if you do, post some pictures of them"
I do! twelve years ago, my neighbor's dog had a litter of four, and we adopted two of them. here are my mutts, the older siblings :) they're a mix of miniature poodle, chihuahua, and mini Doberman pinscher
i'm allergic to taking nice pictures of them unfortunately
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the older one ( top left ) is Finn, short for Finnegan. and in the bottom right is Sheeta ( named after Lusheeta from Castle in the Sky ), his younger sister
🐇⋆.˚ do you prefer writing original characters, reader inserts, or a mix of both?
mmmm definitely original characters! especially with bsd fic, since there's a wealth of inspo for them with the author's other works. almost all of the original characters in TSP have names derived from book characters, turn-of-the-century American authors, or something along those lines. I've never written reader insert! it does sound fun though. i may try it out.

Bernedoodles at Wildwood Doodles - Where Cuteness Meets Companionship
Amidst the myriad of lovable canine breeds, it's the Bernedoodles that have captured the hearts of many dog enthusiasts. The perfect blend of the Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles, these fluffy friends are a sight to behold. Their captivating appearance, coupled with their amicable nature and hypoallergenic coats, has skyrocketed their popularity. Hence, Bernedoodles are speedily becoming the preferred choice for families and individuals in search of an ideal furry buddy. At Wildwood Doodles, we take pride in breeding these delightful companions, ensuring they bring joy and companionship to your homes.
Origins and Characteristics
The Bernedoodle's story begins with a purpose: combining the best qualities of the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle. The Bernese Mountain Dog, a large and gentle breed, brings its loyalty and affection to the mix. These dogs are known for their kind disposition, making them excellent family pets. On the other hand, the Poodle is highly regarded for its intelligence and hypoallergenic, low-shedding coat. By blending these two breeds, the Bernedoodle inherits both the Bernese's amiable nature and the Poodle's smart, non-shedding coat. It's the best of both worlds, wrapped up in a cuddly package.
One of the most remarkable characteristics of Bernedoodles is their stunning appearance. These dogs come in various coat colors and patterns, with the most common being tricolor, bi-color, and sable. Their coats are typically wavy or curly, which adds to their charm. Bernedoodles are also available in different sizes, from mini to standard, allowing prospective owners to choose a dog that fits their lifestyle and living arrangements.
The Perfect Family Companion
Renowned for their sociable and affable character, Bernedoodles from Wildwood Doodles are an ideal match for diverse family structures. Exhibiting a gentle demeanor and immense patience, these dogs interact wonderfully with children, providing reassurance to parents. Their playful and endearing qualities assure that they serve not only as incredible companions but delightful playmates for the little ones as well.
These dogs are known for forming strong bonds with their families, and they thrive on human interaction. Whether it's a game of fetch in the backyard, a leisurely walk in the park, or a cozy cuddle session on the couch, Bernedoodles are always up for quality time with their loved ones. Their enthusiasm and affection make them a beloved member of the household, bringing joy and happiness into the lives of those who choose to welcome them.
Intelligence and Trainability
When discussing the admirable traits of Bernedoodles, their intelligence inevitably comes to the fore. This perspicacity stems from their Poodle parentage, a breed renowned for its acumen, positioning them high on the list of astute canine breeds. Training these clever companions from Wildwood Doodles is typically an enjoyable and straightforward task for owners, thanks to their inherent quick-wittedness.
Whether you're teaching them basic commands, tricks, or more advanced skills, Bernedoodles are quick learners and eager to please. Their strong desire to make their owners happy makes them responsive to positive reinforcement training methods. Additionally, their intelligence and adaptability make them suitable for various roles, including therapy and service dog work.
Low Shedding and Hypoallergenic Coats
If you've ever wanted a dog but were concerned about allergies or the endless battle against pet hair, Bernedoodles might be the perfect solution. Thanks to their Poodle lineage, Bernedoodles typically have low-shedding, hypoallergenic coats. This means they are less likely to trigger allergies in sensitive individuals and that your home will be much easier to maintain.
Their luxurious coats do require regular grooming to prevent matting and keep them looking their best, but the effort is well worth it when you consider the benefits of a non-shedding dog. Their soft, curly, and often fluffy fur is not only beautiful but also wonderfully soft to the touch, making them even more irresistible.
Exercise and Activity Needs
Bernedoodles, from Wildwood Doodles, exhibit remarkable versatility, adjusting effortlessly to varying lifestyles from busy city apartments to roomy country estates. Despite their energetic nature, they maintain a balanced temperament, not tipping towards hyperactivity. This makes them a fitting choice for households with diverse activity ranges, further highlighting their adaptability.
Regular exercise is essential to keep your Bernedoodle happy and healthy, but they won't demand long and strenuous workouts. A daily walk, some playtime, and mental stimulation are typically enough to keep them content. They also enjoy spending time outdoors and are known to be avid hikers and swimmers, making them great companions for those who love the great outdoors.
Health Considerations
Like all dog breeds, Bernedoodles are prone to specific health issues. It's essential to work with a reputable breeder who conducts health screenings on the parent dogs to reduce the risk of hereditary conditions. Some common health concerns in Bernedoodles include hip and elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, and bloat. Regular veterinary check-ups and a healthy diet can help ensure your Bernedoodle lives a long and happy life.
A Furry Family Member
Bernedoodles, bred meticulously by Wildwood Doodles, embody the quintessence of an ideal family dog. Their genial, warm, and intelligent demeanor results in them being extraordinary companions suitable for everyone. They are an excellent choice for families with children, singles, or seniors seeking a devoted companion, demonstrating their unique ability to cater to diverse needs.
Their hypoallergenic, low-shedding coats make them accessible to allergy sufferers and those who prefer a cleaner home. Their adaptability to different living situations and exercise needs ensures that they can fit into various lifestyles. When you bring a Bernedoodle into your life, you're not just getting a dog; you're gaining a furry family member and a source of endless joy.
In the world of dog breeds, Bernedoodles truly stand out as an exceptional choice where cuteness meets companionship. So, whether you're playing fetch in the park, cuddling on the couch, or embarking on a hiking adventure, a Bernedoodle will be right there with you, ready to make every moment a delightful journey.

Hello! I made this account sorta as a vent and sorta as a place to relax a bit? My nickname I'm using here is Bones, to give myself the "illusion" of anonymity. But I'll probably end up dropping my preferred name at some point anyway lol.
I'm autistic!! I love Undertale and its AUs, have been in the Fandom since maaaybe early 2016? I'm 22 years old, born on December 6th. I'm ftm transgender, but haven't been able to begin transitioning cause I live with highly religious parents.
I have a handful of special interests, mostly centering around animals (particularly dogs), skeleton anatomy and general "vulture culture", and of course Undertale/UTMV have been my go to for a while. My comfort things are Naruto, The Shadowhunters book series, and a little bit of Harry Potter, but those interests vary a lot.
I've been autistic for as long as I can remember, but was diagnosed late due to the fact I learned to mask at an early age due to school-related trauma. I was diagnosed 'officially' at 17, but sorta already knew from 12-13, when I started obsessing over psychology.
I've been diagnosed with a few things over the years. Initially with Schizoid Personality Disorder, then Brief Psychotic Disorder, then Schizotypical Disorder: Bipolar Type. Maybe a few more, I forget. For sure I have chronic depression and crippling social anxiety. The previous diagnoses were mostly caused cause I often slip from reality to see things and voices that others can't see or hear.
I have two dogs!! A mini Poodle and a Pomeranian mix, though the Pom is more my mom's than mine. My dog is named Luca and he's a Lil crazy but I love him. Minnie is my mom's dog and she's a total sweetheart, when she wants to be.
I need to learn formatting, but this is my quickish intro i made in the middle of the night from waking up to a nightmare. So- I may not be entirely coherent, my apologies!!
I tend to infodump a bit too,, I'm mostly going to keep this account for venting purposes to beware of that I guess.

It is a great addition to active families looking for an adorable pet that loves to learn and play. It has also become one of the most preferred options for a service or therapy dog.
Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd OR Aussie Poo Overview (101)
Tumblr media
An Aussiedoodle is a hybrid breed between a Poodle and an Australian Shepherd (miniature or standard).
They are mainly used as pets. However , their teddy bear looks and friendly personalities also made them popular therapy dogs.
Both parent breeds have long ancestry. Poodle can be traced back to 17th century Germany, where it was used to collect water poultry. The Australian Shepherd Dog originally originated not from Australia but in the Western United States in the 19th century in ranges used to herd livestock.
Although the American Kennel Club does not recognize them as they are crossbreeds, both are recognized by the Australian Shepherd Dog and Poodle AKC . Australian Shepherd in the Shepherd group and Poodle in the non-sporting group.
Aussie Poo Overview (Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd)
Because they are hybrids, they can have unpredictable appearances. It all depends on what genes are expressed in each puppy - each puppy in the same litter can look completely different.
The Aussie Poo can look more like an Australian Shepherd or a Poodle, or a mixture of the two!
It cannot be said until the puppy is fully grown.
The exact thing is evident with the teddy bear look. They will have fluffy and fluffy fur with drooping ears and gentle eyes.
It should be noted that they are considered to be hypoallergenic (thanks to Poodle genes) but this can vary between puppies.
Height and weight (Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd)
There are two types of Aussie Poo depending on what type of Poodle their parent is. Someone with a miniature Poodle parent will be smaller and lighter build, while larger ones will be wide and sturdy.
It has a mini mini Poodle parent. These small hybrids can grow up to 35 lbs and 12-18 inches long. A standard size has a standard Poodle parent. These dogs can grow up to 70 lbs and reach 22 inches tall.
Colors and Coats (Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd)
Just like their size, their coat and color are unpredictable!
Australian Shepherd dogs can be black, blue merle, red or red merle. They may also have spotted tan spots and white patches around their bodies.
Poodle has more variations than the Aussie Shepherd. Some include apricot, black, blue, brown, cream, white and red.
So, your Aussie Poo could be anything above depending on their parents' genes!
Up to their coatings, they can have two types of coatings depending on which genes are expressed.
They can have a soft and curly coat thanks to the poodle.
They can have a straight or curly coat like the Australian Shepherd.
The Australian Shepherd dog has a double coat, so chances are your dog has one too.
As Family Pets, The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd
Now that you know more about the Aussie Poo, would it make the perfect family pet for you?
In summary, let's take a look at the breed's potential for your ideal canine companion:
You will need to be prepared to invest time and energy in exercising your Aussiedoodle.
These are active, athletic puppies that need plenty of walking and playtime to keep them healthy and happy.
The Australian Shepherd Poodle mix is a benign, happy breed that would make an ideal family pet.
These dogs generally get on well with children and other pets.
You will have to spend a lot of time preparing your Australian Shepherd poodle mix.
Despite the poodle's reputation for hypoallergenic, the Aussie Poo sheds
This breed will not be a good roommate for someone with a pet hair allergy.
Depending on the type of poodle used to create your Aussie Poo puppy, the size will vary.
The adult version of that cute little furry doll can be pretty big!
If you live in an apartment, look for a hybrid that has a toy poodle as one of the main dogs.
Aussie Poo Temperament (Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd)
Tumblr media
You should expect this breed to be very friendly, intelligent, energetic and loving. They are socially oriented and require a lot of attention.
Aussie Poo will be no strangers to hugs and cuddles, they will want to be a lap dog no matter how big they are.
Thanks to their strong social skills, they have no problem making friends.
While they don't mind strangers when they go out, they'll care when there is a stranger in their home. The Australian Shepherd was used to guard the ranges so they have a keen guard dog instinct.
Unfortunately, because they are social dogs, they always want to be around people, and they don't do very well on their own. They are prone to separation anxiety so it's best to make sure you have time to spend with this dog.
They can be a lot of fun - they'll love the game of chase. Thanks to their legacy, they have the instinct to start herding and nudging children, so watch out for this (note this later).
In fact, they can be hyperactive and destructive if not played with regularly. This hybrid breed is very friendly overall, they are good around dogs as long as they are properly socialized.
Is the Aussie Poo a Good Family Dog?
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd are great for children, they are gentle and patient.
These fun hybrid breeds will love playtime, and kids have the same energy levels to suit them - perfect playmates!
As said earlier, they don't have any aggressive tendencies so there shouldn't be any worries there.
However, you should always keep an eye on your dog and your kids playing together and don't forget to teach your kids. Understanding basic dog body language .
The Miniature Husky was bred in Wasilla, Alaska, from the early 1970s until 1988 by Linda S. Spurlin and her family. The breed was originally obtained by crossing Siberian huskies, Alaskan huskies, and they were also added to the barks and American Eskimo dogs to reduce the size of the breed without signs of dwarfism. She was engaged in breeding as a private owner, and in the late eighties allowed to use the genus for general breeding. The subsequent unification of the genus occurred after the breed was recognized by clubs and associations for rare breeds. The Miniature Husky, or dwarf husky, better known as the Alaskan Klee-kai was officially recognized by the American Rare Breed Association in 1995. The United Kennel Club (UKC) recognized this breed on January 1, 1997.

How to Train Aussie Poo (Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd)
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd is extremely intelligent thanks to the fact that both parent breeds are very intelligent. Also, because of Australian Shepherds' eagerness to please, they should be fairly easy to train!
They will respond best to positive reinforcement. Punishment should be avoided as much as possible leads to problematic behavior .
These dogs love treats and compliments, but tend to prefer one over the other.
As mentioned earlier, one of the problematic behaviors is to herd and pinch children - this can be easily trained. You should distract them by using a ball or toy to prevent children from herding around the house.
Socialization is vital for all genders! Expose them as puppies to a wide variety of people, children and animals. The same is true for household appliances that make loud noises like washing machines.
Start training and socializing as soon as you bring your puppy home!
When smart dogs are not mentally stimulated, they can become frustrated and bored , causing them to be destructive. Give them a puzzle feeder and play hide and seek with their treats. Let them play with other dogs and provide them as much social interaction as possible to improve their cognitive skills.
They see education as a form of play and challenge makes them happy. While an easy task, here are a few things that will help you effectively train your Poodle mixed with Australian Shepherd.
When is the right time?
The right time to start training your puppies is the first day they come to your home. At eight weeks old, these puppies can absorb anything you've taught them - waiting until they're old isn't a great idea. They can hold information and understand instructions very early. Left untrained, you run the risk of raising a headed Poodle Australian Shepherd.
Where to start socializing?
You must have them attend a puppy kindergarten class by the age of twelve. It will help you start their socialization . Besides formal training, you should immediately start socializing them with family members and friends.
What should you teach them?
The first thing your puppy needs to learn is obedience. This is a stepping stone in which you should teach your dog some tricks for yourself. They are extremely intelligent and active. If you can teach and assign them a job or purpose, such as getting the paper for you, they will be delighted. It gives them the challenge and warning they need.
As long as you are willing to teach them, you can have them do almost anything you want and they'll be happy to do it for you.
How to train a puppy?
You need to be patient and consistent in training them. Positive reinforcement goes a long way. They can quickly find out if they see that they please you. You should also remember to restrict training for short periods. It is a good idea to train for 10 to 15 minutes throughout the day. Avoid repeating commands too much or they will lose their relevance.
It's natural to try to bend or bump you when they're driven and try to hold the family together. However, you have to make it your priority to deter it. You can scold them and then direct their attention to a game. It is important as they must learn to avoid biting or bumping you while walking. This education will also help children stay safe around them.
Caring For Aussie Poo (Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd)
Tumblr media
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd will be a cute addition to your family, but you must first know how to care for one of these dogs.
They are adaptable, so they perform well in apartments and homes. However, they have a lot of energy so make sure you are ready to get a dog that needs a lot of activity.
These bundles of energy require a lot of care and attention - perfect for a loving family!
Exercise Requirements
Thanks to the history of both parent breeds, this hybrid breed is very energetic. The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd loves exercise.
They need about 90 minutes of exercise every day, otherwise you will have to deal with a hyperactive dog that will try to chew on everything in sight!
Take them for a jog, the beach or a walk. They love all kinds of activities and are a very athletic breed.
Exercise is essential for lowering their energy level for these hyperactive dogs. They don't know where to spend the energy to get angry, which can cause them to become frustrated and develop negative behaviors or become overweight.
Giving them a purpose is a great use of their unlimited energy. They delight people and enjoy physical and mental challenges. Their lively nature makes them work or seek playtime with their owners, other pets or even themselves. Access to a courtyard will be quite useful and will allow them to play whenever they need it.
These smart dogs love to learn and solve puzzles. Nina Ottoson Dog Brick Treatment Puzzle Dog Toy by Outward Hound will help keep them busy for a while. It is an interactive feeding fun game that your dog will love.
When taking them for a walk, you should keep them on a leash until you are sure of their remembering abilities. They are quite dog friendly, so you can take them to dog parks too.
Care and Spill
Grooming requirements will vary depending on the type of coat they inherit.
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd can get a long, wavy double coat from the Aussie Shepherd. If they do, they'll pour their liner every spring and fall . They will need to be brushed at least every other day during their bursting.
If their coats like Poodles are more curly, they will need to trim their fur every 10 weeks. This helps their hair stay healthy.
They will need to trim their nails regularly to keep them at a comfortable length. Brush her teeth once a week and clean her ears regularly with a damp cloth to prevent any buildup.
Nutrition and Diet
It's fairly easy to keep a Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd. They consume one to three cups of high quality dog food a day. To meet the needs of high energy dogs like these, choose a dog food that contains a good amount of fat and protein. They also enjoy dog bones, meat, vegetables or fruits. A regular exercise routine can help them manage their weight better.
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd needs a balanced protein, fat, vitamin and mineral diet.
They will need about 2 meals a day, divided into equal portions. One in the morning and one in the evening.
How much you feed your dog depends on how heavy they are. You should feed a mini version with 1-1.5 cups of formula and standard 2.5-3.5 cups of formula a day.
Some people believe that the raw food diet is most beneficial for dogs, while others stick to the commercial dog food diet. Well , as long as they are high quality materials.
Find a recognizable feed with all food ingredients. Avoid fillers such as corn syrup, as high carb concentrations can be harmful to your dog.
You can also treat them in moderation with fruits and vegetables.
Tumblr media
Maintenance of the Aussie Poo
The Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd can have different types of fur depending on which parental type dominates. Some Australian shepherd poodle mixes have the long, straight coat of the Australian shepherd dog. Other Aussie Poo carry more of a poodle coat with loose curls.
Whatever type of coat your dog has, it is high maintenance when it comes to grooming. You will need to brush your Aussie Poo for at least a few days and also your dog may need to be trimmed and trimmed every eight to 12 weeks.
Known Health Issues of Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd
Aussie Poos are hybrid breeds, meaning they have more genetic diversity than pure breeds. This means they should have less chance of inheriting genetic disorders.
However, there are some health issues that are still common with this cross breed:
Hip dysplasia is common in this breed, keeping them at a healthy weight and feeding them a nutritious diet to avoid this.
Miniature ones are more prone to upscale the patella, this is where the kneecap comes off.
They are prone to epilepsy.
Aussie Poos are prone to suffering eye disorders such as cataracts. Also Progressive Retinal Atrophy - This is an inherited disease that is common with both the parent breeds, Australian Shepherd and Poodle. When your dog becomes an adult, you should test for carrier genes that can cause blindness.
Cushing's Disease - Occurs in dogs in their middle age as a result of the presence of a hormone-secreting tumor. It is usually found in the abdominal adrenal glands or the pituitary gland of the brain. There is an excess of stress hormone, cortisol, that can cause weight gain, increased appetite, hair loss, skin pigmentation and intolerance to exercise.
Obesity is common in companion dogs and this can really affect a dog's quality of life. Obesity will be real if they are not fed properly and given the right amount of exercise.
How Long Does Aussie Poo Live?
An average healthy Australian dog will live 10-12 years.
Buyer Guide - Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd
Tumblr media
To buy a cute Aussie Poo puppy, you need to find a reputable breeder to ensure you get a healthy puppy.
The breeding market may seem daunting at first, but once you know the signs of a puppy mill, it will be easier to find a reliable breeder. Reliable breeders will be open to you to visit and meet them, and most importantly, to meet my mother.
Seeing the mother will allow you to see her health and how she interacts with her offspring. If a breeder does not allow the mother to take care of her offspring, she can mature with problem behavior .
The breeder must also provide medical certificates to show you that your parents are healthy. A good breeder must register parents with the AKC, as Aussie Shepherd and Poodle are recognized by the AKC.
Be sure to ask the breeder questions such as how many liters the mother has, what food you give the puppies, and what level of socialization the puppies are.
Stay away from aggressive breeders and those who claim their puppies are 100% hypoallergenic - there is no guarantee that this applies to hybrid breeds.
How Much Does Aussie Poo Cost?
You should expect to pay between $ 1000-2000 for an Aussie Poo puppy.
Aussie Poo For Sale (Poodle Mixed with Australian Shepherd)

As a hybrid breed their appearance can be a little unpredictable, but there is no doubt that these dogs are very friendly and lovable!

How Big Do Cockapoos Get? - When Fully Grown
New Post has been published on https://www.petculiars.com/how-big-do-cockapoos-get-when-fully-grown/
How Big Do Cockapoos Get? - When Fully Grown
One of the most common questions among people that want to bring a Poodle mix home is How big would Cockapoos get. Along with many other factors, size is of big importance when wanting to get a new dog, because each size comes with differing responsibilities and will have to be cared for differently.
Some people already own a Cockapoo puppy and would like to know how much it will grow, while others have an adult dog and want to know whether its size is normal.
Before talking about sizes, you should know that there are, in fact, four different Cockapoo sizes. These are the teacup, toy, mini, and standard. This article will give you a lot of information on the different sizes of Cockapoos, how big they would grow, the expected weight, and the age when they would actually stop growing.
Teacup Cockapoo Size When Fully Grown
The smallest Cockapoos will be the Teacup breed, but its correct size is still under debate between specialists. I think this is the best place where I should add that Cockapoos, just like other mixed breeds, don’t come with official sizes and breeders can call their litters however they prefer.
You might also like my articles about Bull Terriers, Pitbulls, and the most popular Teacup dog breeds.
This Teacup breed size of the Cockapoo is usually obtained by mixing a small Toy Cockapoo with a Toy Poodle. This is a better solution than simply breeding a Poodle with a Cocker Spaniel and will feature considerably smaller puppies.
When buying your own teacup dog, whether a Cockapoo or some other mix, you should always do your due diligence on the breeder, because some breeders will choose to prioritize the size over the dog’s expected health, and you’re always interested in getting a healthy dog.
You should expect a Toy Poodle to be close to 10 inches tall, with a weight of under 10 pounds. The Toy Cockapoo, on the other size, would have a size of 10 to 11 inches, and weight of anywhere between 6 and 12 pounds.
How Big Would a Teacup Cockapoo Get?
So how big should you expect your Teacup Cockapoo to get, to consider the growth healthy? This breed of dog shouldn’t be more than 10 inches tall and shouldn’t weigh more than 7 pounds.
Toy Cockapoo Size When Fully Grown
The Toy Cockapoo is just a tad bigger than its cousin, the Teacup Cockapoo, but still considerably smaller than a Mini Cockapoo specimen. You will get this type of dog by mixing a Mini Cockapoo with a Toy Poodle.
The Mini Cockapoo in this combination should be around 12 to 15 inches in size and should weigh between 12 and 25 pounds. On the other hand, the second parent, the Toy Poodle, should only be around 10 inches tall and should only weigh around 10 pounds.
How Big Would a Toy Cockapoo Get?
How big would you expect a Toy Cockapoo to get? When fully grown, a Toy Cockapoo can reach a height of about 11 inches, with an estimated weight of anywhere between 6 and 12 pounds.
The Size of a Mini Cockapoo when Fully Grown
The Mini is one of the most common sizes for the Cockapoo. It will usually result from a mix between the Cocker Spaniel and a Mini Poodle.
The Cocker spaniel parent will usually be 14 to 15 inches tall with a weight of 15 to 30 pounds, while the second parent, the Mini Poodle will be around 15 inches tall, with a weight of 12 to 22 pounds.
How Big Would a Mini Cockapoo Get?
How big should you expect a Cockapoo to get? The Size of the Cockapoo is usually anywhere between 11 and 15 inches in height and around 12 to 25 pounds in weight.
The Size of the Standard Cockapoo When Fully Grown
The Standard Cockapoo is also known as the Maxi, and it is the biggest sub-breed of the Cockapoo breed. It is usually a mix between a Cocker Spaniel and a Standard Poodle.
Usually, the Standard Poodle parent will have a height of anywhere between 18 and 24 inches with a weight of anywhere between 45 and 70 pounds, while the other parent, the Cocker Spaniel, will be anywhere between 13 and 15 inches in height with a weight of around 15 to 30 pounds.
How Big Would a Standard Cockapoo Get?
When getting a Standard Cockapoo pup, how big should you expect it to get? The standard Cockapoo will usually grow to about 16 to 22 inches, reaching a weight of anywhere between 22 and 40 pounds.
Your dog’s size might be off of these numbers, and this will usually vary depending on the sizes of its parents. This can make for some unusual situations where a Standard Cockapoo will be smaller than one from the Mini Cockapoo sub-breed.
Factors That Influence the Height and Weight of a Cockapoo
As you might expect, there are quite a few factors that would have an influence on the size of your Cockapoo dog and its size. The most important thing to note is the actual height and weight of the parents, but the pup’s gender and its generation will also have a strong impact on these numbers.
Even when taking into account all of the predictable factors, genetics, and their unpredictability, make predicting the precise size and weight of your Cockapoo practically impossible. This is why all of the factors laid down in this article are only estimates.
After the size of the pup’s parents, the second most important factor will be related to the individual genetic traits that the dog gets from its parents. This is why some pups from the same kennel might have considerable differences between them in terms of height.
As a general rule, if both of the parents are on the larger half of the size range, the kennel will be comprised of larger puppies as well, while if both parents are of a smaller size, the pups will be smaller as well.
The gender of the puppy is also important when trying to figure out exactly how big your Cockapoo will get. Should you go for a female or a male Cockapoo? When everything else is ignored, male dogs will usually be bigger in weight and size when compared to females. This difference accounts for only about 10% of the total size.
Be aware that in the smaller Teacup Cockapoo size, Toy Cockapoo size, and Mini Cockapoo size, these gender differences in height and weight may not be as noticeable as in the larger, Standard Cockapoo size.
One of the least important factors, but one that could still make a difference, is the generation of your Cockapoo. This term will actually refer to the genetic makeup of the dog and how much it will get from either of its parents, the Cocker Spaniel and the Poodle.
This all might sound very complicated, but I can tell you this isn’t the case. Most of the time, the old kennel would give you most of the information you would need about the new one, so ask the owner of the dog’s parents to show you pictures of a past kennel.
Or even simpler, the higher genetic material the dog will get from his larger parent, the bigger it will usually get.
When Would a Cockapoo Stop Growing?
Up to this point of the article, you should have enough information to understand how big do Cockapoos get. But owners would usually also want to know when will their Cockapoo stop growing.
Most Cocker Spaniels will reach their fully grown height when they reach the age of 12 months. In terms of their weight, it will take another 8 months for them to get to their full adult weight.
As for the Cockapoos, their full adult size will be reached around 16 months of age, or, in some cases, a maximum of 24 months. The bigger the Cockapoo sub-breed, the more it will take it to reach its maximum size and weight, so Standard Cockapoos will reach their maximums a lot later than Teacup ones.

What goes bump in the night? More like who steals shoes in the night.
A/N thanks for the RP @natalyabloom and @wyattschreave
I sat in bed dangling the small phone about arms length above my head watching a youtube video called “only 1% of people will figure out these insane riddles” I knew I wouldn’t be able to get it but I loved the “OHHHHH DANG” moments.
Suddenly my grip faltered and smack the phone went on my nose. “Ow ow ow ow!” I yelped as I picked the phone up off of my face and rubbed my nose. “Alright, that’s enough of you.” I mumbled to myself as I got up and returned the phone to my desk. I paused for a moment and looked at the picture of Emma and I. I sighed a bit to myself. I missed Emma deeply, I missed my goofy friend who would watch videos with me. I need some friends here too.
I “plopped back down on my bed and started to think of the girls. I could approach someone from my group from the political lessons? Maybe they’d want to be friends? OH NATALYA. I should do apologize to Natalya. We argued back at the lessons but she seems like a smart girl, maybe we could be friends.
I got up from my bed and walked over to her room and then knocked on her door, “Hi Natalya, it's me Gabriella from the political lessons.” I introduced from outside.
A maid came and opened the door, “Excuse me, Miss. I hope you won’t mind coming back later. Lady Natal-”
Suddenly Natalya appeared standing next to the maid in her reading glasses and spoke softly to her maid, “I told you to stop calling me that. I’ve got it from here, Raylen. You can go back in and…I don’t know, the bathroom is covered in soil.” Soil?
“Yes?” She asked addressing me.
“Oh! Hi yes! I was hoping I could talk with you for a moment, may I come in?”
She turned around quickly and went into her room, “Watch out for the floor.” The floor? As I walked in there were plants everywhere. It was so cool. This had to be the best decorating job in the palace.
“Oh wow! Your room is so cool it’s like a mini garden!” I exclaimed.
Natalya sat down on her bed next to a stack of books, “Yes, I guess it’s sort of my thing…So, what is it?”
“I like animals myself but plants are really cute too and oh right! I just wanted to make sure you knew I was sorry for the...debate during the lessons today. I can get kind of competitive so I got a little too into it. You seem like a super smart and interesting girl though so I'd like to try and be friends with you if that’s alright.” Maybe that was too direct.
She slightly adjusted her glasses, “A surprising amount of you girls are awfully blunt. But…I guess I should apologize too. I was out of it that day.” She then flattened her hair a bit, “Still am.” She added.
“I prefer to be direct. It makes things much more simple. Why do you think you were out of it? Did you get enough sleep?” I asked.
“Not exactly. Being Selected is much more stressful than I thought.” I wonder where she gets stress from? I think this is fun. We’ll the lessons were stressful but overall this has been more fun and exciting than stressful. I suppose though that’s because I’m spending a lot of time with Ben and he’s fun and exciting to me.
“Hmmm, well what's something that you love to do back at home. I normally visit the ocean when I'm stressed which has been helping me…” I paused and looked around, “Do the plants help you?” I asked.
“Botany, the science of plants, though some of them dive more into the field of hydroponics, still a part of botany. So, yes.” ????
“Hydro what now? Sorry I'm a bit of a moron. The caste of a 3 is misleading.” Hydro means water. I got that far.
She smiled a bit. Yes! She’s warming up to me, “The science of growing plants without fertilizer or dirt.” WHAT
“What the!? That sounds amazing! How do they do it?” I asked honestly eager to learn. I loved learning new things and this just seemed so interesting.
“It involves mixing nutrients usually found in fertilizer into the water. I could show you if you want. It’s not all that complicated.” She can show me? Like right here? This is like an episode of Bill Nye.
“Please do, it sounds so cool! I always sucked at growing plants. I'm too forgetful for them, I did have a cactus that lived a long time though. It was a good fit for me.”
She stood from the bed and made her way over to a drawer, “You probably weren’t all that bad. Cacti are actually surprisingly hard to maintain.” She then took two bottles out of the drawer and began to shake them, “The gardens here are maintained wonderfully, though.”
“I had them in my windowsill so they got plenty of sun, when they had those like purple flowers blossom it was really pretty. I was very proud. Somehow I've managed to take care of our dog Gregory though. He's a very silly dog. A very big diva.”
She brought the bottles over to one of the plants and poured the nutrients into what almost looks like a small pool of water that the plant sat in, the colors of the shampoo swirl around and disappear quickly, like a small leaf tornado. “You have a dog too? What kind?”
“Oooh! That was cool! And he's a poodle. Fitting for his personality. His favourite color is salmon. Not a hue off.”
Natalya and I seemed to get along well. I’m glad we were able to get through all of that drama from the political lessons. As I thought back to the lessons my idea for vengeance on Wyatt came to mind. Natalya seemed to like Wyatt though, not in a romantic way of course that would be inappropriate and I really don’t know her too well. But, she didn’t seem to dislike him. I suppose you could say the same for me, I just had a slight annoyance for him here and there but he was still interesting to talk with. Anyways, maybe I should just ask instead of trying to guess her perspective.
“By the way you acted really well with prince Wyatt. Are you two friends?” I asked deciding a lead in would be best.
She sat up suddenly looking startled, “Uh, yes, I think I’m close with the prince.” She answered. Huh. Maybe there is something more there. That’s a rather large reaction to a small question.
“Do you think he's slightly deserving of being pranked? Two times now he's been kind of rude to me, not rude enough for like pain but for sure pranking. I need a partner in crime.” I asked deciding to brush past my suspicion. If she had feelings for him that was between the two of them. If later she decided to talk to me as a friend that was up to her, but I wasn’t going to prod.
“I’ve never pulled a prank on anyone before.” She answered. First time for everything.
“I have many times. I'm actually pretty good at it. I got the idea early on to switch all of my horrible heels with his nice comfy shoes. You can add yours to the pile if you'd like. You in?” Maybe she would be tempted by the idea to lose her stilts too.
She sighed and pet her hair down, “Well, I have a pair of bright purple six inch tie ups I’m sure he’d look gorgeous in.”
I smiled widely, “Wonderful. We can lipstick so he knows what to match them with. Can you ask one of your maids for like a cart so we can roll the heels upstairs. Oh! Wait one us distract him while the other goes in.” I suggested. I should probably distract, if I did the sneaky work we’d end up with all of his shoes falling in the hallway and the cart toppled.
She agreed and said one of her maids should be able to get the cart for us. We gathered the heels and began to push the cart up. We used one of the elevators that the staff used when taking carts of food to people. Soon we made it sneakily up to the royals hall.
I turned and nodded at Natalya to let her know I was moving out and went down the hall to his room and promptly knocked on his door, “Wyatt! Come quickly! Its Gabriella!” I shouted.
There was the sound of clatter as he seemed to rush to the door knocking over things on his way out, “What?! What’s wrong?” He asked as he looked me up in down probably for an injury. He seemed to notice I was fine and straightened himself up, “How did you even get up here?” He asked.
“Doesn't matter. Come look at this!” I replied loudly so Natalya would hear and grabbed his hand and pulled him down the hallway.
He seemed surprised as I pulled him down and looked back over his shoulder once more, “Where are we going?”
“It's something amazing. you'll love to see it. I thought of you right away. It has to do with one of your many interests.”
He looked confused as I looked back at his face, my eyes quickly catching a glance of Natalya as she made her way into Wyatt’s room. “My many interests?” He asked as stopped walking, “Gabriella, what’s this really about?” Crap crap crap we weren’t to the vase yet. I need a conversation topic. I glanced around quickly.
“Oh we're here!” I said and gestured to the wall, “ It's your favorite thing. A wall. They're very interesting right. But this wall, is really cool because like look at it it's so cool. They wall paper looks more like it's painted than it is just with a paper over it.”
He looked blankly at the wall for a moment before turning and ripping my soul out of my body with an ice cold glare and throwing it in the trashcan of hell. This is it. This is how I die. Murdered at the hands of Wyatt.
“Alright don't be mad.” I said and put my hands up defensively. Natalya isn’t out yet, oh fiddlesticks. A new conversation topic. Um….BEN.
“The truth is.......I need advice...it's just awkward to ask....ummmm......” I said making long pauses to insure I was stalling well.
He pressed his lips together for a moment before he let out a sigh, “ About what?”
“well it's about your brother, so I'm trying to figure out what I should get him for his birthday. My family has a tradition of making...well, I'll keep that part hidden. But we do handmade gifts but I know some people don't like them so well I was wondering if you knew if Ben did?” I gave a small fib to add a little extra time. Yes my family made handmade things as a tradition but we didn’t make one specific thing. I just figured the awkward pause would give Nat some more time.
“Handmade gifts?” He asked with a snort, “Have you met him? Yes, he likes them. Though... I guess it depends on how weird you make it.” What would I make that would be weird?
I chuckled, “They're not too weird. Just small little things. What are you getting him? Or doing for him?” I asked trying to move along the conversation as I waited for Natalya.
“How do I know you’re not going to tell him? Maybe this is all a plan to figure out what I’m getting him ahead of time.” He narrowed his eyes in suspicion, “He always does that.” He always sends a spy to find out what Wyatt got him for his birthday?
“Why in the world would I try and tell him that.” I trailed off for a moment as I saw natalya pulling out of there and heading for out meetup location, “I'm a fan of surprises so if you're just trying to keep it a secret then I get that. Anyways, I have something to go do now, so I'll talk to you later.” I exited and pat him on his shoulder as I past him and briskly made my way to natalya.
“wait—“ He said and started to follow me.
“Run. Run. Run.” I ordered to natalya as we made it back together and made out escape.
“HEY, WHAT JUST HAPPENED?” I heard him yell. We stopped and waited a moment a little curious of the aftermath.
“OH, YOU LITTLE—” There was distant yelling as he seemed to realize that he had been hustled. I couldn’t help but to burst out in laughter as we had won and made our way back to his room.
Turns out Wyatt had tiny feet. So small his shoes didn’t fit either natalya or I. So we decided we had to send them back. But- not that simply. Wyatt would be gaining his shoes back one left shoe at a time.

25 Question Tag
I was tagged by the amazing, beautiful, talented, wonderful, awesome @pandazcupcake 💜💜💜💜
Question 1: Do you have any pets?
Sorta... My dad owns a little mini poodle and she is pretty freaking cute when she’s not barking endlessly at nothing.  My roommate also owns a dog.  I think it may be like a black lab mix, but she is seriously so precious.  Also, pretty needy but I still love her 💜
Question 2: Name 3 things that are physically close to you.
My laptop, my candy pouch (because I own enough candy that there is a pouch for it), and he heated blanket (the best creation)
Question 3: What is the weather like right now?
Freaking cold as HEX! The sky is grey, it’s really calm, but still COLD AS HEX! There’s even a little bit of snow to prove it.
Question 4: Do you drive? If so, have you crashed?
Yes, I do and I have crashed one time.  It was rush hour in a busy city and I didn’t stop quick enough, so I ran into someone.  My car was done for, but their car barely had a scratch on it.  I felt awful for a really long time, and I never wanted to drive again, but I had to, so I sucked it up and just moved on.  That’s the only time though and it was over a year ago, so yeah, this was a long explanation.
Question 5: What time did you wake up this morning?
I woke up at like 7:45 but I fell back asleep at 8:30 and woke up again at 11 :)
Question 6: When was the last time you showered?
Yesterday morning
Question 7: What was the last movie you saw?
While you were sleeping, while my mom was actually sleeping.  You bet the next day when she asked if I finished the movie, I definitely made the joke, “I finished While you were sleeping” dang I’m funny :)
Question 8: What does your last text message say?
Idk where my phone is, because I have sort of finished caring about it, so it was probably asking my stepmom what my dad wanted for Christmas.  This was yesterday, though, because I am a late gift buyer :D
Question 9: What is your ringtone?
I’m unoriginal.  It’s just the default ringtone that comes with the phone.
Question 10: Have you ever been to a different country?
Yeah, actually.  That’s the perk of having an English dad :)  I’ve been to Canada, England, Scotland, Wales (idk if these three all count for the UK or not), France, Netherlands, and I think we went to Austria when I was like really really little, but my sister doesn’t think so, so that’s a maybe.
Question 11: Do you like sushi?
I’ve only tried sushi once, when I was visiting a news station and the guest was making crab sushi, but that is the only time I’ve ever had it.  I’m always up for trying new things, though.
Question 12: Where do you buy your groceries?
Usually the grocery store in my town called Dillons
Question 13: Have you ever taken any medication to help you fall asleep faster?
No.  I am REALLY good at falling asleep fast (it’s a blessing and a curse), but I’m sure that I have taken some medicine before that made me drowsy, just not specifically sleep medicine.
Question 14: How many siblings do you have?
I have one full sister and she is older than me (I call her sister christian), then I have one younger half brother from my mom (I call him boy), and a younger half sister from my dad (I call her bean)
Question 15: Do you have a desktop computer or laptop?
Laptop
Question 16: How old will you be turning on your next birthday?
22, but I have to wait a full year for that to happen.
Question 17: Do you wear contacts or glasses?
Contacts, because I apparently have TERRIBLE vision, but my glasses give me extreme headaches.
Question 18: Do you color your hair?
I used to get highlights when I was little, but about 5 years ago I got my hair colored brown and I haven’t colored it since, so my hair is now fully natural (and way too freaking long.)
Question 19: Tell me something you are planning to do today.
Well, I already started working on ANOTHER Taegi one-shot, because apparently I can not get enough Taegi and thoughts keep coming to my head. But in a little bit I’m going to start the next chapter to my long Taegi au. Other than that, eat and sit in the comfort of my heated blanket.
Question 20: When was the last time you cried?
I almost started crying from laughter last night, because my family kept making jokes and I laugh at seriously everything, but real cry as in sadness to the point of crying was December 18.
Question 21: What is your perfect pizza topping?
I love pizza and I love things on pizza, but it seriously changes every time i get it.  So, I guess I will say just regular beef pizza, but with stuffed crust (stuffed crust is always needed and if you haven’t tried it I am SO sorry!)
Question 22: Which do you prefer, hamburger or cheeseburger?
Cheeseburger, because cheese.  Nuff said.
Question 23: Have you ever had an all-nighter?
I was only capable of doing it once and it was when I was in high school and it was during summer time.  I stayed at a friend’s house and we just talked until 10 a.m. when I went home and immediately fell asleep.  I woke up at about 8 p.m.  that day and still went back to bed 2 hours later.  I told you I’m really good at sleeping.
Question 24: What is your eyes color?
Blue, but with brown around the pupil.  It looks kinda cool to me...
Question 25: Can you taste the difference between Pepsi and Coke?
Absolutely, and I don’t think I know anyone who can’t.  I like Pepsi better, but if they don’t have pepsi I always order coke.  I’m not really that picky when it comes to the two.
These are always so fun.  I really do love these a lot.  AAAAANYWAYS, I’m gonna tag a few of my home skillet biscuits (ignore that phrase, I’m being cringey again) @mintynim @the-fandoms-are-watching-you @bts7bst @goldenmina @softmintyoongi @canyoucallthiswriting @minyccngii and all of those who wants to do it!!!!!!! (If you’ve done it already then, i sorrY! I JUST LOVE YOU OKAY?💜💜💜💜)

Committed The Robbery
Tumblr media
Pairing: Y/N/Gangmember!Ashton
Rating: NC-17
Request: Yes
Words: 3.000+
Summary: On a scale from 1 to shit, how fucked would Ashton be if he ended up banging the other gangmember Luke’s little sister Y/N?
”Can you believe this? They sell these packages down by the store for literally nothing and look it’s insane! There is literally 1000 in one tube!” Michael excitedly showed the package of homemade cigarettes in the air, a package of tobacco accompanying the soon to be grey ashes.
Ashton looked over his shoulder with his own loosely resting between his plump lips, one of his legs dangling down on the rear of his red mustang, smoke clouding from his mouth once he had taken a large drag.
“I thought you said you were the one to quit.” He simply stated and stubbed the cigarette to the dark gray asphalt that still had poodles of rain from the morning.  A few cracks allowed weeds to grow up and blossom trying to fit in like the large green football field right next to the parking lot.
“Well you know how that goes,” Michael laughed quietly to himself, “I desire the things that will destroy me in the end.”
The loud bass and drumbeat coming from Ashton’s radio inside his car made him tap his fingers lightly on his jean clothed thigh, taking another drag of his cigarette and blew it out towards the blueish sky. He agreed, but he didn’t want to put himself through the phase of trying not to smoke one.
“You heard that girl coming up to me at the strip club last night?” Calum questioned and watched Michael roll the cigarette on the top of the rack with careful hands. “She said that a cigarette is a pinch of tobacco rolled in paper with fire at one end and a fool at the other.”
“Girls are wicked at times.” Luke laughed and shook his head in disagreement. He had one arm resting on the top of the roof of the red stang, his leather jacket clutching tight to his broad shoulders.
They weren’t looking at each other but the shared gaze was pointed towards the same. Students were walking in a mob after classes had finished, some walking with books stabled in their arms and others heading for either their cars or bikes.
The weather left smiles on faces, squeezing their eyes once they were out in the bright light. The mix of people showed different personalities, different life stages and different attitudes. Sometimes it was inspiriting to watch. It was like a mix of sweets.
Ashton slowly lifted up the cold Carlsberg beer to his dry lips from the cigarette, taking a small sip and furrowed his eyebrows in a mix of many thoughts.
He could see a few students fool around as if they weren’t in their early twenties, seeing them give each other hip pushes and one of them knocking into the Sydney Falls College sign. It still looked the same when he had dropped out but yet, it was almost as if it was only a picture to him.
“I thought you said she would be out by now?” Michael mentioned after the small silence, his head slowly nodding to the tunes of Guns N’ Roses.
“She did… I’m just gonna try call her.” Luke replied and jumped down from the mustang to give himself some privacy. There was after all noises coming from the boys and the music, he wanted to make sure he heard every word over the phone.
Ashton looked over at Luke and observed his face expression as he dialed the number on his phone and reached it up to his ear. He had no expression on his face but neither had he opened his mouth and that made Ashton assume he was still listening to voicemail beeps.
His gaze went back to his feet and fiddled with the cigarette between his fingers. He could practically see the word life being written over the long white paper, seeing it burn slowly into ashes and falling down to the dirty ground. He was constantly reminded it was bad but that didn’t change his mind or perspective.
As he would say, “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn.”
He was almost done with the cigarette when he looked up out of habit, his eyes squeezing and his eyebrows to the point of touching each other. It was far away but with their position in the middle of the parking lot he was able to see everyone coming out from the front entrance of the building that was placed right in the middle of campus.
He held his breath when seeing James come out from the door with a huge smirk plastered on his face, high-fiving two of his best friends whom Ashton could only consider as lost fucking puppies, always making sure to walk in his ass like some sort of horrible hemorrhoid.
They were amused over something and he could already feel the gutted feeling creep up his long spine.
There was something by the way James looked around that made his temper boil just by the sight of him. He was disgusted, he was many things at once and if it wasn’t for several reasons he would have beaten the shit out of him the second he would get the chance.
He had to behave. Not that he wanted to but it was something he was trying to stay with, he hadn’t beaten someone up for a very long times and despite it have been lingering in his knuckles, he kept himself down for one particular reason.
“Does she pick up?” Michael yelled towards Luke’s direction, watching the blond haired boy furrow his eyebrows by the sudden distraction with his finger pressed against his ear and shook his head in answer.
“Might as well fold another one then.” Michael mumbled more to himself than the others, letting the last bit of smoke cloud from his mouth before he opened one of the many thousands of mini papers and found his tobacco.
“What was her last class? Maybe’s she’s still there and we can go inside?” Calum questioned and sat up from leaning down on the rear for a little bit of tanning, he loved the sun and especially when it was warm like today.
“Don’t be an idiot we’re still completely expelled from this place. It’s funnily enough the only reason why we’re situated right here on the parking lot, it’s the only place that is not owned by River Falls College.” Michael reminded but not in a matching tone as his wording.
He was smiling down at his new homemade cigarette with excitement in his eyes, oh boy how he loved doing this already. He should do it for the living and sell them illegal to the kids around, they would bloody love it.
“I still don’t regret that expelling though.” Calum chirped in and grinned, Ashton faintly hearing them in the background as they chuckled in unison by the memory.
He couldn’t count the months it had been since it happened, but it was still a moment he would never forget. Their target had always been James and it would always be the second his big brother was out of the picture.
A plan that they all had settled together seemed to be the one to break everything. At first it was just something made up from a drunken night of beers and girls. Suddenly the plan became into something real and when it actually happened they got expelled from college one by one.
Michael and Calum weren’t really the ones to care much, Cal had only been a part of the football team and Michael hung out at the computer room. Luke had never cared, he had barely given a single glance to the school without some sort of purpose but with Ashton… He actually liked it.
Not that he preferred to wake up early and had to share a dorm room with someone named Timothy Brown. The kid was wacked and definitely the opposite of him personality wise but it still gave him some sort of peace from his otherwise usual busy daily life.
“Maybe she went home with some sort of guy?” Calum said just to be a tease and by that particular word both Ashton’s and Luke’s heads rose up in reaction for different reasons.
“She wouldn’t do that.” Luke replied but without any mimic on his face telling whether or not he was offended by Calum’s question and settled with trying to call again. He was after all an impatient guy who either called one or thirty times.
Ashton shrugged off the gutted feeling that once again spread on his spine and looked towards the entrance again where James was still standing. He hadn’t moved a single bit but laughed with his friends and that was when Ashton spotted the phone in his hand.
It was as if it was on perfect timing because right at the second James looked over at Ashton’s direction and despite the long distance they could still see each other’s faces perfectly.
The smirk was growing on James’ face as Ashton’s was falling more, his eyes confused to why they kept on sharing eye contact. It didn’t help less as they continued doing it and that was when James suddenly wiggled the phone in the air, Ashton’s eyes widened.
“He did not.” He almost mumbled below his breath, catching the other guys’ attention and made them look towards James as well.
Luke was the last one to turn around and look towards where the others were staring, but before he got the chance to fully realize what was happening the beeps stopped and someone answered the call.
“Hello Hemmings.” The voice was enthusiastic but still low and when Luke’s eyes met James from far distance he felt how his jaw was slowly falling.
“Supposed to pick up your little sister?”
“Where is she?” Luke growled into the phone and marched towards the other boys to get closer but still kept his gaze on James. There was no way in hell he would look away.
“Where she belongs. Let me give you a small hint.” James smirked and hung up on the phone followed by throwing it over his shoulder and into one of the many silver metal trashcans that were covering the front part of the entrance.
Luke eyed James laugh to himself and high-fived his friends for the last time and decided to leave, sprinting away and towards his truck to get away before something could happen. He was smart after all because he would assume the guys wouldn’t dare to walk in on the college property.
“If he thinks the second he’s getting away with this he’s the dumbest clueless idiot on earth.” Luke spat and forcefully placed his phone back in his leather jacket and watched as the others jumped down from the mustang ready to take action.
“Expelled my ass let’s get her.”
They could tell that students knew who they were the second they had smacked the door open to the entrance, some even stopping in track and watching them in the corner of their eyes.
Everyone knew about them and if they hadn’t met them in person they would have heard from student to student. Even the professors had spoken about the gossip and warned that it would almost be worth quitting their job if one of them had been in their classes.
“What was the last class she had?” Calum questioned again in hope of actually getting an answer this time, glancing towards a few girls almost completely pressed against their lockers with books in their hands.
“It must have been her Studio and 2-D art classes, she usually has that as her last class on Wednesdays.” Luke explained in a low mumble, smacking the door open to get to the next hallway but didn’t care if somebody stood in his way.
He had fire in his eyes with many mixed emotions clear on his face. The first was frustration followed by anger but he was also feeling nervous because he had absolutely no idea what in the world James had done.
What he thought to be a warning became real once they smacked the door open to the art room, seeing as it was empty expect for the corner. At first they couldn’t hear more than whimpers but when Michael shut the door close with a loud smack knocking appeared in the otherwise large pictorial room.
“Y/N?” Luke questioned out loud with a worried expression on his face, knocking down a few painting brushes in the process of walking past a few tables.
The knocking continued but they couldn’t find the source of it. Michael and Calum hurried towards the small room attached to the class room where a large oven for clay to give it a small checkup and Luke looked around the room towards the windows.
They could hear the desperateness of the knocks because they became more violent and heavy, Ashton looking around confused but that was when he saw the small trashcans by the end of the room where all the bottles of paint were placed.
“Over here.” He was quick to yell and practically threw the lit of the trashcan into the wall behind him, his heart skipping a beat once he got eye contact with a frightened and tied up you forced down into the small space.
“She’s right here.” He breathed and leaned down to take you up, feeling how you were shaking from top to toe but it didn’t help once he had you out and sat you on top of the many tables.
You were shaking so much he had never experienced this before, he could feel the anger start to build in his veins by seeing your misery. Your hair was covered with stains of paint, hands were tied behind your back and your mouth was covered with grey tape.
“I’m gonna try take it off as gentle as possible.” Ashton whispered just to make sure you wouldn’t be more frightened than you already were and slowly grasped onto the piece of tape that wasn’t completely stuck to your skin.
It didn’t prevent the huge whimper to come from your mouth once he removed it from your lips, a small cry coming from your mouth but you had already been crying so it just added to your furious state.
“Michael, knots.” Luke directed and he hurried over to you as well, you could tell how much he was ready to kill James for this.
Michael went behind your back to tie up the insanely strong robes that had made small burns around your wrists but it was a breath of relief that came from your mouth once you had your hands free again. You also had burns around your mouth and Luke carefully touched it but you winched away.
“He-, He put hydrochloric acid on the tape.” You said above a whisper as if you couldn’t believe that he had actually done that, a small bit of drool still being around your mouth and he used his thumb to wipe it away.
It made sense to the burns around your mouth and Ashton could almost feel the pain lingering in his veins. In fact he knocked down one of the homemade vases that stood by the table in pure frustration, the glass falling to the ground in many small pieces.
“He won’t get away with this.” He promised and grabbed onto your upper arms softly.
You couldn’t do anything else but shrug your shoulder because this wasn’t surprise. It had become a habit that never seemed to get away the more the boys tried to stop it. James was a challenging person, it was as if they constantly had a competition where no winners were announced.
“No he fucking won’t.” Luke growled in agreement and gave Ashton a nudge in the shoulder, “Give me your keys I have an idea.”
Ashton wouldn’t normally let the others borrow his mustang but for this he felt it was needed. For every time it had something to do with you he gave out instantly, never argued and was totally wrapped around your finger.
Luke made a motion for his finger for Calum and Michael to follow him towards the exit, his eyes boiling with fire.
“I have an idea. If it goes as planned I’m sure James will never touch Y/N again in any sort of way.” He explained and opened the door, letting the boys walk out in excitement as Michael clapped his hands in the air, it was finally time for something fun.
“Ashton.” Luke said before he walked out of the door, looking over at the curly haired lad with both serious but also soft eyes. He hummed in respond and looked away from you to look at him.
“Take care of her while I’m gone.”
Ashton nodded his head with no doubt of disagreement, watching Luke walk out of the door with satisfaction to the fact that as long as you would be near Ashton, nothing would ever harm or hurt you in any sort of way.
“I’d never do anything to hurt you.” He softly said and removed a piece of your hair to toy it around your ear, the innocence growing in your eyes by realizing that you were now completely alone with Ashton.

All About Goldendoodles
https://www.centralparkpaws.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/What-is-a-goldendoodle-basic-breed-info-golden-retriever-poodle-mix-crossbreed-hybrid.jpg Yesterday, I had the pleasure of having lunch with my mom.
As always, the subject of dogs came up, and we started talking about Goldendoodles.
My mom currently has a 10-year-old Golden Retriever named Augustine (aka Gussie).
We started discussing the possibility of her getting a second dog before Gussie was too old to deal with a puppy.
Gussie is a very young 10-year-old, but as time goes on, I am sure that her patience with younger dogs will eventually wear thin.
I often think that a well-behaved mature dog can help make puppy training go a lot easier and smoother. I feel that dogs tend to learn faster from one another than they do from their human parents.
My mother is in her 70s and though she is still quite active, lifting a large dog in and out of a car is becoming more and more difficult.
Gussie is 64 lbs. So not a huge Golden, but far from small.
A smaller dog would be better for her, but my mom strongly prefers the Golden Retriever breed.
So, I suggested she look into a Goldendoodle since they are part Golden Retriever; plus, they come in a variety of sizes.
Enter the Goldendoodle
Because I love dogs and learning about them, I told her I would do some digging to see if the Goldendoodle breed would be a good option for her.
Since I “dogsit” for my mom frequently, I needed to make sure it was a breed that would also be compatible with my four-legged part of the family.
Any new dog coming into our family needs to be good with other dogs since we bring them to most family events.
In addition to being great with other dogs, the right dog for my mom needs to be easily trainable, get along with kids, and not too hyper, but energetic enough to go for daily walks.
With my list in hand of what my mom was looking for, I jumped online to see what I could find.
Breed History
Of the different Doodle breeds, the Goldendoodle became popular in the 1990s following the boom of the Labradoodle.
A labradoodle, the goldendoodle’s predecessor
The first documented Labradoodle was initiated because a hypoallergenic dog breed was required for a service dog.
After the successful breeding of the Labradoodle, the Goldendoodle became popular as an excellent hypoallergenic family dog. So, for all of the families wishing they could have a dog but couldn’t due to allergies, the Goldendoodle solved that problem.
In addition to being hypoallergenic, Goldendoodles have the benefit of coming in a wide variety of sizes ranging from under 10 pounds to as big as 90 pounds.
Plus, the Goldendoodle comes in a variety of colors, too.
Types of Goldendoodles
The different types of Goldendoodles are categorized by their size.
There are four main size categories:
A miniature Goldendoodle puppy
Standard – The largest of the varieties.
Medium – The second-largest, usually the size of a medium to large breed dog. These are the only ones that are not in the Poodle size categories.
Miniature – These are fairly small and are the result of breeding a Golden Retriever with a Miniature Poodle. They are often between 10 – 15 inches tall to their shoulder.
Teacup, Micro, or Petite – These are the outcome of breeding a Golden Retriever with a Toy Poodle.

Coat Types
There are four varieties of Goldendoodle coat types: curly, wavy, straight, or flat.
Though breeders can strive to produce Goldendoodles with a specific coat style, it is vital to point out that it is not an exact science and puppies of a diverse coat type can be produced in the same litter.
In addition to the style of the coat, the coats vary in texture and length.
Some dogs have silkier coats where other dogs have coarser hair more like the Poodle side of their genes.
Coat color
White fur is also possible but is very rare
There are three primary colors Goldendoodles come in: red, apricot, and cream.
Less common color options are black, chocolate, or multicolored (aka particolored[2]).
Much like the coat type of Goldendoodles, the color combinations that are produced from each litter can vary and include multiple colors.
Eye color
The most common eye color in Goldendoodles is brown.
There are a few anomalies in dogs with other colors such as blue or green, but this is a rare occurrence.
Nose color
Goldendoodles’ noses are black or brown.
Though like with all things Goldendoodle there are always exceptions, so a pinkish-brown nose is rare but possible.
Other Breed Names
There is a number of names the Goldendoodle is also known as:
Groodle
Double Doodle – This is a Goldendoodle mixed with a Labradoodle.
Teddy Bear Goldendoodles aka English Goldendoodle – These are English Golden Retrievers crossed with a Poodle.
Petite Goldendoodle – Miniature versions.
Personality Characteristics
Temperament
When people talk about Goldendoodle’s personalities, it’s usually to say how sweet, fun, and comical they can be.
They are happy dogs and love nothing more than spending time with their families and meeting new friends.
They are one of the most friendly dog breeds, but because of this, they make poor guard dogs.
In addition to adoring human companionship, Goldendoodles can often build quick friendships with other canine companions. Also, not only are they great in multi-dog households, but they usually get along with cats too.
Because Goldendoodles are so smart, they can be trained to live in harmony with a variety of creatures such as rabbits, guinea pigs, or even chickens.
Intelligence
The Goldendoodle is the result of two of the smartest dog breeds, so of course, these guys are going to be quite intelligent.
Because of their intelligence, they can often be trained to do different jobs like therapy or service dog work.
Trainability
Goldendoodles are one of the easiest dogs to train using positive reinforcement.
In fact, Goldendoodles love training as it is a combination of two of their favorite things: family and food.
They are sensitive dogs, so training cannot be punishment-based as it will cause your Goldendoodle to shut down.
This breed is one that strives to please and put a smile on their family’s face.
Exercise Needs
Goldendoodles need exercise like all dogs, but a daily walk is usually enough to keep them happy and healthy.
However, if you are looking for a dog who will enjoy weekend hiking and swimming, the Goldendoodle will have no problem keeping up.
Though Goldendoodles can be enthusiastic when meeting new people, mature Goldendoodles are not an overly energetic breed.
What Goldendoodles Excel At
Though the Goldendoodle is used as service dogs, the breed truly excels at therapy work.
The Goldendoodle’s friendly and sensitive nature makes them a fantastic choice to help the emotional needs of humans.
Therapy dogs can be found in a variety of settings:

Hospital
Nursing Homes
Counselors/Psychologist offices
Court Rooms
Airports
Libraries
People with therapy dogs can use them in their day to day professions, like counselors, or just in their free time, like volunteering at hospitals or libraries.
In addition to making fabulous therapy dogs, they can also be trained for nose work, agility for fun, flyball, and dock jumping.
Goldendoodles are happy, intelligent dogs, and there are few things they aren’t great at.
Even though they are great at several activities, they are best at being companions.
Just because Goldendoodles are capable of many jobs and games, they do not require specialized training or jobs to be happy.
Health Concerns
Although Goldendoodles were bred to combine the best traits of the two original breeds, the drawback of the Goldendoodle is that they also share negative genetic characteristics as well.
Some common health issues in Goldendoodles are:
Subvalvular aortic stenosis (heart disease commonly found in Golden Retrievers)
Hip dysplasia
Sebaceous adenitis (skin disease common to Poodles)
Eye diseases like retinal atrophy, cataracts, and glaucoma
Addison’s disease
Best Foods for Goldendoodles and How Much do they Eat?
Goldendoodles generally don’t suffer from any specific digestive diseases, though they can have sensitive stomachs when it comes to switching foods.
So ideally, feeding a diet that’s been enhanced with probiotics would be best.
A primary factor when choosing a dog food is the size of the Goldendoodle.
For the Standard, a large breed dog food would be optimal, and for the mini and teacup, a small breed food would be the best choice.
Some food options for food would be:

Purina Pro Plan Savor– Contains Probiotics and would be good for any size Goldendoodle.
Instinct Original Small Breed Grain-Free Recipe with Chicken – Contains Probiotics, perfect for toy or miniature.
Core Wellness Grain-Free for Large Breeds– Enriched with joint support supplements, ideal for standard Goldendoodles.
You can find more options, and more in-depth info, in the article about what dog food is best for Goldendoodles.
Grooming and Maintenance
Although Goldendoodles are known for their lack of shedding, they still require regular grooming.
Goldendoodles can tend to become odorous unless bathed frequently, about every 3-4 weeks. Be cautious of over-washing your Goldendoodles as it can cause their skin to become dry and irritated.
Special shampoos for Goldendoodles are available to help manage their fragrant nature.
Shampoos like:
Healthy Breeds Deodorizing Shampoo
Nature’s Miracle Supreme Odor Control
Pet Pleasant Lavender Oatmeal
However, if you have your dog’s haircut short, it will help to relieve some of the smell commonly associated with the Goldendoodle breed.
There are a variety of haircut options.
Not all people opt for a short haircut, there is no real breed standard for the cut, but it is encouraged to have the hair trimmed regularly to keep from mats forming.
Some of the common haircut styles are:
Goldendoodle Lamb cut – Shorter haircut, but not as tight as a true short haircut with rounded cut feet, soft cut around the face, and full fantail.
Even Length Puppy Cut – The hair is cut to the same length on the body and face.
Teddy Bear face – Leaving the longer on the face yet, softly trimmed to give a rounder look.
Goldendoodles are higher maintenance than other breeds when it comes to grooming.
Breeding
The age at which it is best to breed a Goldendoodle depends on the dog itself.
Generally, smaller dogs reach sexual maturity before larger dogs.
Male dogs can be fertile as young as six months and female dogs reach sexual maturity between six months and two years.
Female Goldendoodles should not be bred until after their first season.
Some breeders believe it is best to wait until a female dog is at least two years of age before using them for breeding.
When it comes to the Doodle breeds, there are different generations which significantly impact the outcome of a litter[3].
The first litter of puppies from a Golden Retriever and a Poodle are known as F1. These pups are half of each breed, and though they are Goldendoodles, they tend to shed more than F2 puppies.
F2 Puppies are the result of breeding the F1 dog to a full-bred Poodle. The litter from this union creates a dog with less Golden Retriever traits and more Poodle traits, ultimately resulting a dog that sheds considerably less than other Goldendoodles.
How Many Puppies per Litter?
The average litter size for dogs is between 2 – 12 puppies.
The most significant factor in litter size is the size of the dog.
The general rule is the larger the dog, the larger the litter.
However, like in all things, there’s always going to be the exception to the rule.
So, for Goldendoodles, it very much depends on which of the varieties of Goldendoodle is being bred.
How Much do Goldendoodles Cost?
The cost of a Goldendoodle is dependent on a variety of factors.
Generation
The reputation of the Breeder
Gender
Age
Color
Coat
Location
Though the cost of a Goldendoodle is important, is it is crucial to find a reliable and reputable breeder.
You can typically expect these prices:
Standard $1800 – $3100
Medium $1800 -$2500
Mini $2000 -$2500
Teacup $1000 – $3800
Where to Adopt or Buy a Goldendoodle
If you are looking for a puppy finding a reputable breeder is your best option.
If you aren’t sure where to start in locating a good breeder, contact your local vet clinic as they are a great resource in the canine community.
If you are looking to skip the challenges of puppyhood but would still love to bring a furry friend into your family, there are two great options.
The first option is to go through a rescue organization. Not all rescue dogs have behavioral issues; many dogs are given up because of a family situation.
The second option is to contact a breeder to see if they have any adult dogs for sale.
Breeders will sometimes have older dogs that were formerly used for breeding. Also, some breeders may have slightly older dogs that weren’t adopted from a previous litter or ones returned because they were not a good fit for that family.
Final Thoughts
After spending a substantial amount of time learning about Goldendoodles, I think that this would be a perfect breed for my mom.
They meet all of the criteria she is looking for: ideal size, easily trained, great companion, and makes friends quickly with both humans and canines.
Outside of looking at this breed for my mom, I think that this is a perfect option for new dog parents.
In fact, they are an excellent breed for most families or individuals looking to share their lives with a dog that is intelligent, friendly, and loving.
