An influential conservative think tank close to Donald Trump is developing plans to infuse Christian nationalist ideas in his administration if the former president returns to power, according to documents that we obtained. Spearheading the effort is Russell Vought, president of the Center for Renewing America (CRA). He’s rumored to be a potential chief of staff if Trump returns to the White House. Vought – who served in Trump’s first admin – has remained close to the former president and hopes to elevate Christian nationalism as a focal point in a potential second term, according to two people familiar with the plans, who were granted anonymity to discuss internal matters. One document drafted by CRA includes a list of top priorities for a second Trump term, including “Christian nationalism,” invoking the Insurrection Act on Day One to quash protests and refusing to spend authorized congressional funds on unwanted projects, a practice banned by lawmakers in the Nixon era. Vought also: ➡️ has said immigration requirements should include whether that person “accept[ed] Israel’s God, laws and understanding of history” ➡️ has a close affiliation with Christian nationalist William Wolfe, a former Trump admin official who has advocated for overturning same-sex marriage, ending abortion and reducing access to contraceptives ➡️ is advising the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, which would usher in one of the most conservative executive branches in modern American history. Proposals include repealing LGBTQ+ rights, increasing abortion surveillance and defunding Planned Parenthood. Meanwhile, CRA is already influencing Trump’s positions. His thinking on withdrawing the U.S. from NATO and using military force against Mexican drug cartels is partly inspired by separate CRA papers, according to reports by Rolling Stone. I’ll try to write this as close to I did a few weeks ago when I was on one.

the main stream skate INdustry is so lame!! They should be embarrassed and anyone that has a say in it!

When I was younger starting skating; graphics, the company’s and pros were raw, original, unique, provocative, edgy and artistic. Mostly against the system. Now everything is perfectly aligned with mainstream agendas and narrative! the whole INdustry has been infiltrated, and all these companies are bought out! Here’s a few ideas I have to further the sell out of skateboarding!! And better the pay for the pros in the INdustry.

We can start recruiting for the next war…Have a new career in the US Military for all branches that will be a special skateboarding position! Not only can you skate for your favorite branch you can serve your country! This will be a coveted career in the armed forces possibly exceeding Spec Ops! And will have a huge signing bonus! There will be a skill test required that will be judged by someone from the Berrics or some pro or “pro am” (that one’s an oxymoron). You will still have to go to basic training but once complete you will skate around the country and world for the US Military! And if you get called to war you will be skating all the spots in the war zone getting shots and clips! Hazard duty pay always applies and some of these Skate Soldiers will be more recognized than top pros. Go from a nobody skater to a real pro and GI Joe! *you could also change warfare… other countries will catch on and instead of regular war techniques it will be played out with games of SKATE*

Include pro skateboarders as campaign advertising for the next presidential election! Red and Blue….2 wings of the same bird! Let’s get the top pros to ride for their favorite political party! We can get it started for the next election! Will be great innovation!

"Georgia Republicans bundled over a dozen measures that targeted the state’s transgender residents into omnibus packages in a desperate attempt to get them passed. In a stunning defeat for the GOP, every single one of them failed.

Legislators gutted bills that had passed through committee and instead stuffed them full of their anti-LGBTQ+ wishlist items.

Bills that would ban transgender students from playing on teams aligned with their gender identity, ban transgender students from bathrooms aligned with their gender identity, opt parents into notification for every book a student checks out of the library, bar sex education before sixth grade, make all sex-ed classes opt-in and expand obscenity laws to make it easier to ban books with LGBTQ+ content all failed.

How Trump is Following Hitler's Playbook

You’ve heard Trump’s promise:

TRUMP: I’m going to be a dictator for one day.

History shows there are no “one-day” dictatorships. When democracies fall, they typically fall completely.

In a previous video, I laid out the defining traits of fascism and how MAGA Republicans embody them. But how could Trump — or someone like him — actually turn America into a fascist state? Here’s how in five steps.

Step 1: Use threats of violence to gain power

Hitler and Mussolini relied on their vigilante militias to intimidate voters and local officials. We watched Trump try to do the same in 2020.

TRUMP: Proud Boys, stand back and stand by.

Republican election officials testified to the threats they faced when they refused Trump’s demands to falsify the election results.

RAFFENSPERGER: My email, my cell phone was doxxed.

RUSTY BOWERS: They have had video panel trucks with videos of me proclaiming me to be a pedophile.

GABRIEL STERLING: A 20-something tech in Gwinnett County today has death threats and a noose put out saying he should be hung for treason.

If the next election is close, threats to voters and election officials could be enough to sabotage it.

Step 2: Consolidate power

After taking office, a would-be fascist must turn every arm of government into a tool of the party. One of Hitler’s first steps was to take over the civil service, purging it of non-Nazis.

In October of 2020, Trump issued his own executive order that would have enabled him to fire tens of thousands of civil servants and replace them with MAGA loyalists. He never got to act on it, but he’s now promising to apply it to the entire civil service.

That’s become the centerpiece of something called Project 2025, a presidential agenda assembled by MAGA Republicans, that would, as the AP put it, “dismantle the US government and replace it with Trump’s vision.”

Step 3: Establish a police state

Hitler used the imaginary threat of “the poison of foreign races” to justify taking control of the military and police, placing both under his top general, and granting law-enforcement powers to his civilian militias.

Now Trump is using the same language to claim he needs similar powers to deal with immigrants.

Trump plans to deploy troops within the U.S. to conduct immigration raids and round up what he estimates to be 18 million people who would be placed in mass-detention camps while their fate is decided.

And even though crime is actually down across the nation, Trump is citing an imaginary crime wave to justify sending troops into blue cities and states against the will of governors and mayors.

Trump insiders say he plans to invoke the Insurrection Act to have the military crush civilian protests. We saw a glimpse of that in 2020, when Trump deployed the National Guard against peaceful protesters outside the White House.

And with promises to pardon January 6 criminals and stop prosecutions of right-wing domestic terrorists, Trump would empower groups like the Proud Boys to act as MAGA enforcers.

Step 4: Jail the opposition

In classic dictatorial fashion, Trump is now openly threatening to prosecute his opponents.

TRUMP: if I happen to be president and I see somebody who’s doing well and beating me very badly, I say, ‘Go down and indict them.’ They’d be out of business.

And he’s looking to remake the Justice Department into a tool for his personal vendettas.

TRUMP: As we completely overhaul the federal Department of Justice and FBI, we will also launch sweeping civil rights investigations into Marxist local district attorneys.

In the model of Hitler and Mussolini, Trump describes his opponents as subhuman.

TRUMP: …the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country…

Step 5: Undermine the free press

As Hitler well understood, a fascist needs to control the flow of information. Trump has been attacking the press for years.

And he’s threatening to punish news outlets whose coverage he dislikes.

He has helped to reduce trust in the media to such a historic low that his supporters now view him as their most trusted source of information.

Within a democracy, we may often have leaders we don’t like. But we have the power to change them — at the ballot box and through public pressure. Once fascism takes hold, those freedoms are gone and can’t easily be won back.

We must recognize the threat of fascism when it appears, and do everything in our power to stop it.

Together they set up numerous business, athletic, and charitable ties to Israel, a record of which is proudly proclaimed on the Kraft company website. In particular, the Kraft Group boasts of its 'Touchdown in Israel' program, where NFL players are given free, highly organized vacations to see 'the holy land' and come back to spread the word about 'the only democracy in the Middle East.' (Not every NFL player has chosen to take part.) Kraft also attends fundraisers for the Israel Defense Forces, currently—and in open view of the world—committing war crimes in Gaza."

Now, as Israel wages war against the civilians of Gaza—more than 25,000 Palestinian have been killed with at least 10,000 of them children—Kraft is again flexing his financial and political muscles in order to defend the indefensible. His Foundation to Combat Antisemitism (FCAS) will be spending an estimated $7 million to buy a Super Bowl ad titled 'Stop Jewish Hate' that will be seen by well over 100 million people. Under Kraft’s direction, the ad’s goal is to create a propaganda campaign to counter the reports and images from Gaza that young people are consuming on social media.

The content of the Super Bowl ad is not yet known, but FCAS has afforded Kraft the opportunity to make the rounds on cable news saying things like, 'It’s horrible to me that a group like Hamas can be respected and people in the United States of America can be carrying flags or supporting them.'

This is Kraft enacting the mission of FCAS: fostering disinformation. He is far from subtle: A Palestinian flag becomes a 'Hamas flag,' and people like the hundreds of thousands who took to the streets of Washington, D.C., last month to call for a cease-fire and end the violence are expressions of the 'rise in antisemitism.' Without a sense of irony or the horrors happening on the ground in Gaza, Kraft says he is giving $100 million of his own money to FCAS, because 'hate leads to violence.'

Let’s be clear: What Kraft is doing politically and what he will be using the Super Bowl as a platform to do is dangerous. He appears to think any criticism of Israel is inherently antisemitic. For Kraft, it is Jews like myself, rabbis, and Holocaust survivors calling for a cease-fire and a Free Palestine that are part of the problem. Kraft seems to think that opposition to Israel, the IDF, and the AIPAC agenda is antisemitism.

... Right-wing Christian nationalists, with their belief in a Jewish state existing alongside their conviction that Jews are going to Hell, are welcome in Netanyahu’s Israel and Kraft’s coalition. Left-wing anti-Zionist Jews are not. The greatest foghorn of this evangelical right-wing 'love Israel, hate Jews' perspective is, of course, Donald Trump. Kraft, while speaking of being troubled by events like the Charlottesville Nazi march and the right-wing massacre at the Tree of Life synagogue, counts Donald Trump as a close friend and even donated $1 million to his presidential inauguration.

No one who provides cover for the most powerful, public antisemite in the history of US politics should ever be taken seriously on how to best fight antisemitism. No one who funds AIPAC and the IDF and opposes a cease-fire amid the carnage should be allowed a commercial platform at the Super Bowl. But given that the big game is always an orgy of militarism, blind patriotism, and big budget commercials that lie through their teeth, perhaps that ad could not be more appropriate. We can do better than Kraft’s perspective on how to fight antisemitism. Morally, we don’t have a choice."

i wouldn't exactly call those actions "forcing or imposing" an agenda... sounds like that is referring to something political. i don't think the fight against homophobia and racism are political, even if policies affect these issues. but all these actions you mentioned, as trivial and pointless as they may be (especially if coming from UEFA/FIFA), are only to support marginalized people who are members and/or fans of the club, not promote a certain policy. if a player takes issue with non-white or cishet people then... what are they doing in a sport that relies so much on community between differences, on and off the pitch. i suppose in an ideal world, if a player has questions or is uncomfortable with anything related to these issues, they would be offered resources to learn and talk about it, and i wouldn't be surprised if a lot of this stuff was brushed under the rug, especially relating to lgbt+ discrimination in men's football (i'm sure racism is also an issue, but it seems more widely talked about and accepted as an issue amongst men's players than lgbt+ stuff is). but i take issue with calling anti-racism or wanting lgbt+ rights an agenda. i love to see clubs trying to fight discrimination and bigotry, especially when it goes even farther than what the symbolic actions the players do but rather how the club invests in their community or what the players do and say off the pitch.

For those unfamiliar with the term, a useful idiot is a person who can be manipulated or exploited to advance someone else's cause or political agenda. And if you're part of the left and you're refusing to vote blue in the presidential election, then you're being manipulated to serve Trump's, Putin's and Netanyahu's agendas.

Let me explain. First, I hate to break it to you, but the US has a two party system, and as much as I despise it, I know it's not going away before the 2024 election. Either the Democrats win or the Republicans win. That's just how it works. Vote for whoever you want in the primaries, but when it's time to vote in the presidential election, vote blue—if you don't, it's a win for the Republicans, who want to turn the country into a christofascist dictatorship full of concentration camps.

Secondly, you need to understand that anyone telling you not to vote blue is trying to suppress your vote. Trump supporters obviously want Trump to win, but their strategy isn't to convince the left to vote for him. They know that won't work. What they are trying to do is to discourage you from voting for Democrats. They can do this by making you feel too hopeless to vote. They can also do this by making you decide that Biden has done too many unforgivable things for you to vote for him. And Biden has done many unforgivable things, like help arm Israel—but you need to realize that Trump winning a second term would be a hundred times worse for Palestine.

Third, you should think about the fact that there are right-wing foreign leaders—notably Putin and Netanyahu—who want Trump to win. This is where the bots and the propaganda come in. You may not be a bot, but there are bots churning out propaganda to try to influence you, whether they're controlled by Trump donors or by foreign actors.
