So I’ve been joking for a while about how Inko manages to afford all of Izuku’s AM merch
But I decided to nerd out and look closer, and I’m pretty sure the only expensive piece Izuku owns is the poster he got from Sir
You might think his dorm looks absolutely stacked
but that’s only because it’s a very small room and he brought every piece he owns
If you look in his old room it’s all the same posters
so he’s owned it all for at least a few years, he’s been working up to this for god knows how many years, just to be the proud owner of 5 posters so basic even he would put tape on them
All of his figures are less than 50$
One of which he’s had since he was a child
And it doesn’t look like the other unidentified figures are anything special either(except maybe AM in his yellow suit)
Izuku only has generic fanboy shit, like maybe one of the posters is a custom but I honestly I don’t think he owns a single special anything
The dead guy poster is 100% the coolest thing he has, no wonder he’s so reverent about it 💀
As for fits this is all we’ve really seen is
So yeah Inko isn’t dropping stacks on merch, I’m pretty sure those sweaters were a 2 for 1 deal because they’re almost identical 💀

Shigaraki mentioned Spinner in front of Deku, in a way that conveys
Shigaraki's destruction is more than just something he does entirely for himself - he's also doing it for someone because he thinks that someone is looking forward to it, thus
Shigaraki has someone he gives enough consideration toward to want to make them happy (even if that happiness is destruction), and so
Shigaraki is not an inhuman incarnation of ruin and death, but a human with human connections and capable of a degree of empathy-based reasoning.
Now I also wonder: does Deku remember Spinner as the guy with the swords of swords that he had gone 'whoa' over:
But more importantly, as the guy who interfered with an attack on him from a fellow villain; the guy who had disobeyed Shigaraki's kill order?
And this was because Spinner was Stain follower - Stain, who Deku had said he understood as someone trying to live by All Might-inspired ideals.
And thus establishing that Spinner has some sort of moral code that Deku might be able to understand as well, even if he can't agree or accept it.
Like, Deku knows that Shigaraki hates Stain and was not working with him, because Shigaraki bluntly told him as much:
And yet, Spinner - still in his Stain cosplay all this time - is
not dead, killed by Shigaraki for pissing him off;
not dead, killed by Shigaraki for disobeying an order; but in fact,
Shigaraki is announcing how he's trying to do something that Spinner would be looking forward to.
The mention of Spinner is itself already pretty significant, simply that Shigaraki is still thinking of the League, his allies. But that fact that it's Spinner specifically, who did once helped out Deku— I wonder if that will play a part.

So, super upsetting and not fun question...does Tomura know Twice is dead?
I feel like he has to. It's Toga's main motivation for joining in the war, and I'm sure Dabi or at least Spinner would have told him, but we never see Shigaraki react to learning about it. And AFO was fucking with his mind, trying to take control, in those months leading up to this battle. Does he think Twice just got captured like Compress? (If the League even knows Compress is alive, since last any of them saw he was blasting chunks of himself away, sacrificing himself for them.)
But, Tomura said he needs to be a hero for all of them, like Twice is still around. And if AFO was withholding that information from him, that would be a reveal that could hurt Deku's chances of saving him.
Either way, I love seeing how much Tomura loves the League. I need all of them to make it out of this alive, and heal together like the fucked up family they are.
