Alright, I suppose I'll get this over with since I spent some time thinking about it.
Zuko and Mai
Tumblr media
Just look at them.
Honestly, their relationship isn't bad, it's just lacking something.
Oh right...
Communication!
They don't talk to each other. I don't mean striking up a conversation... I mean talking about their feelings to each other. Well, at least on Mai's end. We know Zuko shows his emotions very well because of his frustration. Mai is quiet, aloof, and isn't very good at showing how she feels.
She doesn't even vocalize her feelings. Now, that's fine since 74% of our communication is body language, while the rest is verbal and sensory (I bet you didn't even know that), however I think she struggles with that as well.
Zuko is very good at showing he cares by being attentive (guys, learn from Zuko) he is boyfriend/husband material (I don't want to hear about the colonizer bullshit, it's irrelevant, get an education). He may have made some horrible choices in the past, but he is a good person. So, why do he and Mai keep breaking up and getting back together?
Choices!
I've said it before and I'll say it again...
A bad relationship is set by the choices made individually.
So, you know the whole "I don't keep secrets from my partner" thing? This is it. This is why relationships fail. It's hand in hand with communication, and it's the path to breakups/divorce.
In the graphic novel (I have to go back and look, but I think it's right at the end of The Promise? Correct me if I'm wrong) the reason they broke up is because Zuko made some choices that kinda... well it wasn't great and almost led to a war with the Earth Kingdom. But it really put him in a negative light even though he turned out to be in the end. Mai saw this as Zuko becoming his father, and well, she waited to confront him about it.
Zuko made some decisions on his own and didn't really tell her about it, leading to some misunderstandings. Actually, he did this before in Book Three when he left to join the Gaang. He doesn't sit and talk to Mai about it. He just does it. This is where things go wrong. He may have thought he was doing right by her, but in the end, it was the execution that was bad.
Do I think they will get back together?
Eh... it's debatable. The creators have full control of what the characters do at this point. If they were to get back together, they would definitely have to fix the problems I mentioned above. Maybe that will happen from experience.
What do I like about this relationship?
They obviously care about each other, and I do think they look good together. I'm not a huge fan of it because I see the problems in the relationship. It's not a bad relationship, it's problematic at the worst. At best, they make a cute couple. I'm not sure if Mai is Izumi's mother, but again, we are at the mercy of the creators.
Tumblr media
Oh that's it. That's the problems.
So how do you fix these problems?
Well, there is therapy, but there is also just talking to your partner. Talking about the things that make you uncomfortable and what makes you upset about your relationship is going to clear the air. Now, if your partner is not a great communicator, that is where a therapist can help, and I highly recommend that.
What makes a relationship toxic comes down to narcissism and other violent traits. There is bad relationships, and then there is downright toxic and hellish.
NONE of the relationships in the show are toxic except for Ozai's relationship with his wife, children, and everyone else he has a relationship with. He is an egotistical sociopathic narcissist... that is a walking nuclear waste pit right there. Run away. Run away immediately.
Anyway, this is what I think...
Oh, and Zuko is the very opposite of his father, so don't even go there.
Hope you enjoy my little relationship analysis.

9 & 10 if you dont mind me asking two ! Just curious
No worries! Oh, but I do have quite the stuff to say about these.
Ask Game: Question 9 & 10 - Worst Part of Canon and Fanon
Alright, here we go!
9.
Worst of Canon
I wish that HAL would spend more time properly establishing characters.
Ok, please tell me I'm not the only one with this sort of opinion!
You would think that "Less is more because we can interpret them in unique ways", right? I mean yeah, but this doesn't apply to all cases! Look at Gryll! They do have a fanbase, but the reason not a lot of people give them a chance is because there's so little to work on!
I get that this sort of thing has to be done; not every character is gonna get focus, and I'm not saying every character should.
It's just really frustrating to see those characters that have potential to be kinda screwed over because they're there for one/two games and then cast to the sidelines!
I do like HAL adding new characters. But it's sad to see that some characters will really never be in the spotlight again/in the near future. They're so close to really getting the chance to shine, I can taste it...
If you wanted an answer more related to the story and not the meta stuff..
Definitely some of the cookie cutter personalities. I get it, we can't all have morally grey/corrupt characters, that is not what Kirby is about, but I do hope they ramp it up a little bit.
Elfilin has the most interesting backstory I've heard of. Half of a powerful final boss being? Embraces the being as the end of their arc? Wow! That's sick! But then you look at the in game dialogue and it's just like
"Wow Kirby I love travelling with you"
Anddd it's up to the headcanons again to add the flavour into it. I really wish some of the characters would seem more different from one other.
That's not to say the cast isn't diverse, but it's just that specific type of character. I could really like them a lot more if I could refer to the canon about their differences more.
10.
Worst of Fanon
Interesting...?
I really don't like the interpretations that reduce characters to one/two simple traits. It gives me the feeling of pasting a trope onto a blank slate and calling it a day. I would prefer if people could look a tiny bit more into stuff so that all of our interpretations can all properly thrive.
Add some spice, people!
Susie organizes her home neatly so that she can be work efficient? Actually, screw that! Make her leave it a complete mess because a) she procrastinated it and b) she read an article online about how it can help! Go wild! Do what you want! It's how we keep fandoms alive. Don't feel restricted to whatever the fandom leans towards, do it your way!
(as long as it's not problematic but that should go without saying)
It feels like we're confined to what fanon has established the characters we love as. And that gives me a feeling that maybe, that really isn't good for artistic freedom. And I might be taking this too seriously, but I think I'm suggesting the opposite to all of you.
Stick to the headcanons YOU like the most! After all, it's your fandom experience in the end.

Klaus: Love & Power
A//N: I’ve been gone for a LOOONG minute. But I have good news about it.
I MADE THE DEANS LIST!
Winter qtr of college was a little difficult but it was the best I’ve ever done in school. Such good news right!?
Anyway, this qtr I have a little stricter schedule, which means I knew specially when I can write. And I had been.
GET READY!
& enjoy!
xx Karebear 💛🧸
Tumblr media
Yours and Klaus’s love story seemed far fetched for most people but for those who were able to experience your connection grow into an immense amount of love for each other, would say otherwise. You became his world, alongside with Hope. In his mind, after he was able to curse Hayley and the werewolves in the bayou, he had the perfect life. His two great loves under his roof, under his sole protection. You would never agree to what Klaus has done, but nonetheless you love him. He’s the complete opposite of your previous partners in more ways than that. You understood him, through and through. You knew him like the back of your hand, you know his next move before he does.
You were holding Hope in your arms as you walked along the bookshelf trying to get her to sleep, but all the effort was about to go to waste when Klaus comes barging in panting about to rage about gods knows what.
But before he could begin you raised a warning hand, “Don’t you dare wake her!” You whisper shouted at him. He instantly stops dead in his tracks.
Once his breathing normalizes he sits down on the couch, “The witches are siding with Marcel against me, they want my crown.”
You walked over to him, handing off his sleepy daughter to him. “You don’t need to be everyone’s king. You have all that you need with Hope and I, right?” You asked shyly.
He looks down to a sleeping Hope, then he looks back up to you before nodding his head.
“Maybe you should just give them New Orleans?”
Klaus sighed before standing up, “I should put her to bed, it’s late.” Klaus avoided your advice, walking off to Hope’s bedroom.
After a few minutes of contemplating whether you want to still be here when Klaus comes back or not. If you stay, you’ll more than likely have to sit there listening to him rant about this losing battle. If you leave, you can avoid all of that.
With no incentive to stay, you grabbed your things and made your way out of the compound.
As you walked down the steps you notice a disheveled Elijah. He sat on an almost broken chair, drinking liquor out of a broken bottle. The entire ground floor is basically destroyed, broken tables, chairs, artwork, glasses and everything in between.
“Who in the Hades did you fight today?” You gasped at the sight, oddly enough no bodies were to be found. Blood could be seen splattered all around.
“Y/n, my apologies for the mess, I seem to have taken it a bit too far.” Elijah stands, setting the bottle on a table. In mere seconds the table caves in, shattering the bottle on the ground.
Elijah tried to fight the smile off his face, but it only grew twice in size.
You laugh at his reaction, soon Elijah bursts into laughter as well. As you descended down the rest of the steps, Elijah explains how some of his sires became a threat to the rest of his family.
“Therefore I sent them a message, ‘come after my family, I will come after you.’ It’s what this family does best.” Elijah explains as he begins cleaning up the broken furniture as you stood on the last step listening to him.
“Violence begets violence, this family of yours lives in a cycle of violence.” You sighed, crossing your arms across your chest. You sounded almost defeated.
“You speak like it’s your final efforts dealing with the dramatics of my family, why is that?” he asked, noticing how fed up you are.
“I love Klaus and I love Hope, but...” You shake your head, holding yourself back.
Elijah stopped cleaning, “No, no, please don’t hold yourself back now. If there is anything this family is in dire need of, it’s your brutal honesty. Please continue.”
You sighed, “It’s just... no matter how hard life gets for him, he will not give up the one thing that brings most of this unwanted violence.”
As you spoke Elijah had come to the same realization as you, his face fall into a slight frown as he listened to you.
“After all this heartbreak and sorrow brought upon your family, you’d imagine he would at least hand over some of the reigns. But no, the mighty Klaus Mikaelson has to be King of everyone.” You talked without any reservations on the topic, eventually your tone became stern and cold.
“I know my brother can be a lot, he wants the perfect life for Hope. You can't blame him for that.” Elijah speaks with some regret, they're problematic past on his mind.
“I love that man but at some point I have the face the truth, there’s nothing more that he loves than power.” You almost choked on your words, first time saying them out-loud was harder than you thought.
Without another thought you gather your composure and hurried your way to the exit, “I should go.”
Elijah opened his mouth as he was going to say something but was speechless. There wasn’t something he could say that would fix what you were feeling. After some short time has passed Elijah had managed to get the ground floor back to its glory.
Meanwhile Klaus sat in Hope’s nursery all night, just watching her sleep. He kept thinking about what you had said; giving up New Orleans. How would he be okay with giving everything back to Marcellus?
Klaus hadn’t realized that he had been there all night until the sun rises and began to beam into the room. Letting Hope sleep, he finally leaves her room quietly. He walked around the house in search of you but much to his surprise, you weren’t in bed or the kitchen or even the study. You never came back.
Elijah walks into the study behind Klaus, “Hope’s still sleeping?”
“Have you seen Y/n? She never came home last night.” Klaus asked, worry evident in his voice.
“Not since last night when she left, you had a fight.” Elijah states which only angers Klaus.
“Were you eavesdropping on us last night?” He began to raise his voice, Elijah simply looked at his younger brother with a stern look.
Smirking at Klaus, “I had a conversation with Y/n on her way out, that is all.”
Klaus wanted nothing more than to chase you down and talk but Hope started crying meaning she’s awake. First Klaus tends to his daughter, contemplating on what to do with the situation at hand.
He knows you love him with everything that you are, but letting go of this city was something he didn’t think he’d every have to do again.
As soon as night falls, Freya comes to watch over Hope while Klaus goes out looking for you.
You sat in the lycée with Davina, she performed a cloaking spell on you to stay hidden for a while. She practiced different spells, continually getting up for different plants or herbs for said spells.
“I never would have thought that the city of the dead would be this... peaceful.”
“It’s a great place to help think, maybe soon you’ll start telling me why you need to hide from your own boyfriend.” Davina laughs slightly as she walks back to you with different colored potion bottles in her hands.
“Klaus needs to be King of New Orleans, I just need to finally accept that as one of his personality traits.” You sighed, setting down whatever witch instrument you had been playing with.
“A guy like Klaus means there is no changing him. Take the time that you need to sort your feelings, I’m meeting up with Josh. No one should come through here.” Davina gathered her things and walked out to go with her vampire friend.
Hours pass and soon it would be night, your thoughts ran wild. You love Klaus with every cell in your body, you could die loving him and it'd be a worth while life. So maybe him being the King of New Orleans is something to fight for. You’ve loved him when he's at his worst, so why can’t you love him when he’s fighting to stay King.
Coming to the realization that no matter where or what Klaus is doing, you’ll love him and want to be with him. Almost immediately you made your way out of the Lafayette Cemetery and straight to the Mikaelson compound.
After a few hours, Klaus lost hope in finding you before you wanted to be found. He went back to his daughter to wait for your return, running into Elijah at the enterance.
“Anything?” Klaus asked him, almost pleading with his eyes for some good news.
Elijah shook his head, “I didn’t want to mention this but, brother maybe she's not coming back.”
“Why on earth would you say such things?” Klaus asked before looking over to Elijah who wore a guilty expression. “Unless she said something?”
They slowly began to make their way inside the fortress, “Our chat last night, she mentioned that you might desire power more than you desire love.”
Klaus stopped dead in his tracks, there you were standing in front of Freya who was holding Hope.
Once you noticed the brothers enter the room you began apologizing for basically vanishing out on him. “I am so sorry, I needed time to figure out my stupid feelings.”
Klaus walked straight to you, pulling you into his embrace. Freya and Elijah looked to each other, making their way elsewhere to give you and Klaus some privacy.
When he pulled away he held your hands in his, “Your feelings are never stupid. There is nothing I love more than you and Hope. I’m sorry I made you feel that way, it was never my intention. I don’t need to be King.”
Your eyes go wide and you furrow your eyebrows, “No, no, I was wrong. I know why you have to be King. It’s okay, really. I know that everything you do is for those who you love.”
Klaus smiled down at you, “I do love you, do not forget that.”

My Ranking Of Naruto's Next Gen Characters
1. Shinki - I immediately had a soft spot for Shinki because he's Gaara's son and because I'm a sucker for adopted relationships. But since then I really do like him as his own character. The more I see of him the more interested I am. I really hope they do some kind of arc about his past and where he came from and I hope it lives up to the anticipation I have built waiting for it.
Tumblr media
2. Himawari - A totally cutie, she's just such a sweet and fun character, the exact kind of thing I like most about this series. I also enjoy the fact that she's a natural with her byakugan and she's definitely one of those who I can't wait to see what she'll be like as she grows older. I hope she'll become a strong Shinobi but without losing her sweet soft hearted side.
Tumblr media
3. Wasabi - Honestly I love any character that has some kind of cat-like affinity and Wasabi is no exception. That said, like Shinki, this may have been what drew me in at first but the more I see of her, the more I enjoy in general. Her being an original character also helps and even if she doesn't have a big story of her own, I enjoy the little ones all the same.
Tumblr media
4. Sarada - Proof not all my favourites are bias because of their parents! I do not enjoy Sasuke or Sakura's characters at all, but Sarada is really growing on me! I find her quite entertaining, as someone who works hard to become strong rather than just being a natural, and even if Hokage is a pretty cliché goal at this point, it's still nice to see a female character with a desire that has nothing to do with a cute boy in her class.
Tumblr media
5. Yodo - This ones a bit of a cheat because we really don't know that much about her. But from what we do know, I really adore her. I love her design and there are really nice little moments for her. I like that she seems to be the friendliest of the Team Shinki group, being the only one to really talk to others in a easy going way.
Tumblr media
6. Araya - Again, another slight cheat for similar reasons but I have a soft spot for Suna characters. That and I find it sweet that Araya suffers from anxiety and leans on his friends (like Shinki) in order to stay calm and focus on the fight.
Tumblr media
5. Inojin - And we're back to my usual bias because let's face it, a lot of my love for Inojin is that he's Ino's son, haha! Still, I wouldn't like a character for that reason alone and I do find Inojin to be entertaining. He has some really nice episodes and I don't believe anyone who wasn't at least a little moved by Akkun's death!
Tumblr media
8. Sumire - She started off a pretty typical background character that I had no feelings for. She was the kind that was just there. Then they gave her an interesting backstory and villain arc and she definitely grew on me. I feel like there's room to develop her more but as she is, she's still fun to watch.
Tumblr media
9. Metal - While his design is one of the most unoriginal (it's not even funny how much of an obvious clone he is of his dad), I actually really like that he has an opposite personality to him. I wouldn't mind seeing him build more as his own character but the parts we have seen have been interesting and I feel genuine sympathy for the poor kid a lot of the time.
Tumblr media
10. Shikadai - He's just behind Metal in most unoriginal design. And that wouldn't actually bother me too much but he's got too much of his fathers personality as well. While I don't hate the character, I have no interest in him either since it's clear the show is just copying Shikamaru in most ways. Maybe if the series does something big and different to surprise the audience with him then he could earn a higher place but at the moment my biggest interest in him is that he's related to Gaara and Shinki.
Tumblr media
11. Boruto - While he definitely has a lot of negative traits, I don't dislike him all that much. Even if I don't agree, I can understand why he feels and acts the way he does. Most of my dislike is an entirely personal issue. I just don't enjoy his random devotion to Sasuke (and not just because I dislike Sasuke) and I just generally do not find him to be an eye catching main character. I'd much rather watch the other characters.
12. Chocho - Again, not necessarily a bad character. I like her design and I enjoy some moments of her. But I'm also very much put off by her personality. I just don't like those kind of girls so every time Chocho get's into one of her big headed speeches, I need to skip and move on. That being said, I still like her friendship with Sarada and enjoy watching her fight at the same time.
13. Iwabee - An interesting enough character, but simply not one I'm interested in. This is a funny one because by all means there is nothing at all wrong with him, but I still just don't care for him either way. The only scenes of his I really enjoy also involve characters I'm much more interested in.
13. Namida - I've conflicting feelings about this young girl. I actually liked that episode where she took a seemingly useless and problematic power (her crying/scream) and showed she can turn it into a powerful weapon with training. It was a really good episode and I adore her relationship with Wasabi. However apart from those two particular things, nothing else about her stands out and she's not really interested me any more than that.
14. Denki - Honestly the most boring original character. He's not necessarily that bad, but he's kind of a cliché in my eyes and I just don't find anything about him interesting at all. And it's not like Iwabee who I can live with or without, but rather I skip his scenes altogether.
15. Mitsuki - I just don't like him. Not only does he act just like Sai (without even the excuse of being related to Sai) but I've never liked the character who idolizes another this much. I especially do not like it when I feel the series doesn't even give a good enough reason for them to idolize them. Maybe if they had built the friendship between Mitsuki and Boruto, I might feel different but as it is, I generally roll my eyes whenever he's on screen.

*youtuber vc* WHATZ up famerz. i’ve got another SICK character for you to get to know! so SMASH that follow button! MAIM me with that like!
...anyway hi i’m demi, the famed hag, and this is my fourth child (following sung, andy, n jeonghwa) her name is kiana, also goes by ki and kiki, and if that nickname brings to mind anything But kiki’s delivery service u shall b Wrong. she’s fuse’s main dancer and lead vocalist, iconic qwen. here’s her pinterest, bio, public profile, private profile, timeline [wip for links], plots, & social media [wip for insta]. i’ll leave a condensed version under ze cut <3 you can reach me easiest at fmdjoosung or demi#6468 on discord if you’d like to chat abt this girlie!
okay first things first i’m gonna nip this in the bud. if ur like excuse? iu in fuse? ur coocoo for cocoa puffs for that one. u would be right! and i intend to prove to u that she Is fitting. example a-z demonstrates an at home kiki and a fuse ki. thank me later for all this pretty laydee content
background
may 28th, 1994 ya girl is a gemini
from seattle
born to a pediatric surgeon and a software engineer (who specializes in ai bc her mom is Cool) kiana developed a love for science... then tossed it away to be A Star
not immediately though
really it all stems from the desire to be unique in a positive way
with seattle’s large east asian population, she was lumped together with everyone else, and places where she stood out, kids made fun of her for
she felt like an outcast in every sense of the word, which is why when A Boy gave her the genuine time of day, she latched on
they quickly became bad for each other, codependent at its best
kiana’s lil ass rly thought they were romeo and juliet torn apart when her parents made them break up
she kept sneaking out to see him, and eventually it became troublesome enough that her parents decided to move the fam to korea
heartbroken and with the desire to feel desired, she auditioned for gold star
since she was young, she had dance classes, just as her mom did before giving it up for something more stable
dance isn’t what drove her as much as the feeling of a crowd being entertained by her
trained for 3 years, gold star had high hopes for her given her dance background + looks, hence her role in impulse’s a
a couple years after debut, the company manages to snag her an ost, and when that does well, they shove her onto as many osts as possible, but it manages to do basically nothing to help her or fuse’s fame, no matter the impact of the song itself, and they slow down on trying
that *big bad wolf vc* my dears, is what sets up her overall Thing, that no matter what she does, or how many people claim to love her, they don’t show up for her as a solo celebrity
it leaves her a little dejected, fearful, worried, but idol life isn’t something she minds doing anyway. part of her still wants to strive for more attention, and claw her way there, because she aches terribly to feel special and different, and to a degree, idol life will always give that to her
personality
the archetype of the kid in middle school who calls themselves L and only draws in anime style and comes to school in cosplay and naruto runs around and randomly speaks japanese........ yeah, that was kiana as a kid
and really, she’s only let the problematic parts of it go. she’s still a big fat weeb (& has lots of other fandom type interests too)
an internet kid, someone who never got a big following. draws fanart, has written fanfiction, engages on fan forums. stays at home unless she’s dragged out by friends
she’s a very Normal, Everyday type person in most ways, and that bugs her to no end
she’s someone who as a kid thought she had superpowers, like full on believed it, and to this day still thinks well maybe it’s just not kicked in yet
considers herself ~an empath~ because she naturally has very strong emotions, and seeing or “feeling” the emotions of others makes her feel that way too. that includes positive And negative emotions
she can and is wrong about what she “feels” from others, but the emotional effect on herself is still the same
and because that happens so much, kiana retreats into herself
she has a very small inner circle, and isn’t very interested in more than surface level relationships with most people because it’s exhausting to feel so much all of the time
that means usually, most people meeting her will meet someone who can be doin a little doodle, you’ll say hi, she’ll say hi back, then go right back to her doodle
she’s Nice and polite enough, but doesn’t take those first steps. some ppl might view her coldly bc of it
HOWEVA if someone were to bring up one of her ~special interests, she would come off like a completely different person
animated, kinda loud, won’t shut up. that’s more often the type of person her inner circle gets to see
she’s also a reversal of the hard shell soft inside trope, as a lot of her outward self and personality can seem soft, gentle, maybe even naive depending on someone’s view, but there is a core to her affection thats... dangerous
but i’ll leave that for the dms
and finally, here’s a phat list of personality traits that apply to kiana, depending on her relationships with who she’s talking to and how she’s feeling. yes some are complete opposites. see: gemini. if you wanna kno how to get a certain trait from her, i’ll be glad to explain
abnormal, apathetic, artistic, clingy, contradictory, dedicated, demure, disorganized, earnest, effeminate, emotional, empathetic, excitable, fanatical, guarded, hesitant, insecure, introverted, jealous, loyal, mercurial, modest, neat, needy, nervous, numb, obsessive, organized, overthinking, passionate, persevering, protective, quiet, romantic, scatterbrained, silly, stubborn, tactful, temperamental, vigilant, vivacious, volatile, wall flower, withdrawn
fun fax
claims her style inspiration is the 70s but really mixes in influences from ~the 40s to 80s
if she’s dressing herself, heavily prefers skirts and dresses over pants
doesn’t like being touched unless she’s really close with someone, then she likes a lot of it
plant mom. apartment basc a greenhouse
insists one day she will make her own jam but has yet to get around to it so she just has a bunch of jars in her apartment and uses them for plants and paper clip holders and the like
her fictional character romantic Type is the tsundere. is convinced fictional characters are the best dating partners
always wears glasses when at home, and a good amount of the time when not working in general
her mario kart main is link bc nostalgia and valuing a strong stat set that favors zoom zoom
the furthest she goes for environmental impact is always using a hydroflask
prefers having bangs and hair with a wave
always carries bandaids and bandages in her bag because she gets eczema patches when she’s stressed and it’s Embarrassing to her so she covers em up

Hey! I would like to have a matchup for MysticMessenger if possible:)
I have long-black-thick hair and my hight is 5,6 feet’s. I’m also a bisexual Demigirl and my pronounces are she/they.
My favourite hobbies are drawing traditional and digital art (practicing on digital still) while listening to Japanese indie rock songs. I like spending my free time at home rather than outside with too many people. My Favourite season is winter and favourite days are rainy days! I also loove movies, preferably from the mystery genre cause it’s always so exciting to watch and trying to find out the whole mystery with someone else! Sometimes people think I’m a weird person, maybe for listening to them and saying almost nothing but it’s just me analysing the person (my favourite thing). I’m really not book smart but psychologically smart (?) and act on emotion rather than logic which is sometimes problematic haha
I am a VERY pessimistic and easily depressed person after...well- personal reasons. (Relate to Saeran a little) When surrounded by more (close (2 people)) positive people I’d like to do really funny stuff and be more positive if they let me. I am an (a little unhealthy) INFJ who’s the type who wants to first befriend my crush for a few months (aka quality time and physical touch as love language cause hella I’m touch starved and would probably cry-) for a while to know them and analyse what traits they have, what they like, hobbies and more. (if they’re the right person) I AM VERY NERVOUS AND NOT CONFIDENT AT ALL TO CONFESS AND WOULD PROBABLY GO SOO DISTANT WHEN THOSE FEELINGS GET TOO STRONG also easily flustered by small gestures :,)
Small fact: I speak 3 languages, English, German and Persian and try learning more :3
If it’s too much or you don’t want to write one than it’s completely fine!! Also, I hope you have/had a wonderful and not-so-stressful day and stay/stayed hydrated >:))

I match you with...
Jumin!
You're definitely an introverted person that knows what you like. You don't have to stress about this or that, because you have a good idea of what's too much for you and what's too little for you. You're all about your feelings and the way that you see the world. Sometimes that can make you seem a little standoffish. But it's just that you have a very good grasp on the way that you feel. Knowing that, you've got a few options as far as who would work with you. But the best person is definitely Jumin. Think of it as an opposite attract situation.
You both have the chance to help the other learn more about a different perspective that they've never considered before. You may be ruled by your emotions , and he may be ruled by logic, but when you're together you can make a rational decision that just makes sense. That's why the two of you work so well together. Because you can come to a consensus together and not have to worry that the choice isn't the right thing to do or that it's not going to benefit in some way.
His love language can be very quiet and it can be all so louder. He's really good at being able to read you so it's not really a problem for him to figure out what's too much for you and what's not enough for you. You don't have to rush into it. He's not the type to do that either. With him you can take your time and not worry about getting mixed up in the swing of things. Relationships take time and he's definitely someone who believes in that. But because the two of you have something in common, trying to square away your emotions, you'll be able to call the other out and learn how to work past that.

Hi! What are your favorite siblings' relationships in stories?
WHY HI FRIEND
So in general I think sibling relationships offer incredibly rich potential to a story, but are somewhat underutilized? At least in comparison to other relationships. Or maybe that’s just the kinds of stories I’m drawn to.
Mo Dao Zu Shi: Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian
Tumblr media
Honorary shout-outs to the other siblings in this story, namely Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji and Jiang Yanli’s relationship with both Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian. Sorry Nies ILY but too much tragedy. But I think Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng’s exceedingly complex relationship is one of the best in the novel, and just as thematically rich as Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji’s relationship. I’ve written quite a few metas about the two of them, but overall they’re a great portrayal of brothers who adore each other but whose worst instincts and inability to communicate just how much the other means to them drives them apart... but then they get a second chance. I also interpreted the ending as them slowly moving towards communicating better and reconciling; hence, I loved it.
Tumblr media
Dostoyevsky’s Crime and Punishment: Rodion Raskolnikov and Dunya Raskolnikova
Yes I’m choosing these ones over The Brothers Karamazov mostly because I’m in perpetual mourning for Smerdyakov. I love them. I love them lots. Dunya truly loves Raskolnikov and is about to see through him, to defend herself, and to be kind to Sonia (her foil). What could come across as patriarchal doesn’t because Dunya is just as protective of her brother as he is of her, railing against anyone who speaks ill of him, and much like Rodion is able to see her flaws for what they are (she’s too self-sacrificial), is still able to see her brother’s flaws rather than live in denial of them (unlike their mother). It’s noteworthy that it is Dunya who defeats Svidraigalov, who represents a dark path towards spiraling and destruction, for Rodion. Her steadfast commitment to and honest appraisal of her brother, are, much like Razumihin’s and Sonia’s, key towards Rodion deciding to pursue redemption.
Hunter x Hunter: Illumi, Milluki, Killua, Alluka, and Kalluto Zoldyck
Tumblr media
I’ve written some metas on these brats, too. But I love all five of them and their relationships, even though many of them are severely dysfunctional. They all foil each other in excellent, thematic ways, and all their best traits are the ones their parents use to manipulate them against each other in the guise of protecting each other.
Frozen: Anna & Elsa
Tumblr media
I wrote a bit about them here, but I actually think the first Frozen (haven’t seen the second) is a wonderful portrayal of two sisters and reconciliation in a relationship. It also very well captures the experience of having a sibling struggling with mental illness you can’t help with--and the feeling of having a mental illness a sibling can’t help you with.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower: Sam and Patrick
Tumblr media
They’re technically stepsiblings, but I love how they take care of each other. They’re both important to Charlie’s journey of healing.
Harry Potter: The Weasley Siblings
Tumblr media
They all have distinct personalities and relationships with each other. Even if I have an issue with fed and George being basically clones of each other, their presence in the story is a delight. Also, I’m never forgiving the movies for omitting Percy, since I really liked his prodigal son subplot.
Monster: Nina/Anna and Johan
Your recent meta articulates why. But despite the twin stuff, it’s exceedingly well done, and they are both such complex characters that their relationship, from its beginning to the end, get me every time.
2ha: Mo Ran and Xue Meng
Yes, actually. I think their brotherly/cousinly relationship is beautiful and hopeful, but it’s hard to articulate exactly why without major spoilers. Let’s just say I enjoyed how they were both foils--neither were who they even thought they themselves were--and they didn’t always like each other, but they learned to love each other.
To Kill a Mockingbird: Jem and Scout
Let’s add another literature reference here. As problematic as some parts of the novel are, I love their relationship. It captures siblings in all of their complexity, how they get along and don’t, and is innocent yet realistic.
Tales of Arcadia: Aja and Krel
Tumblr media
They have complimentary arcs that allow them both to walk their separate ways in the end and be closer for it, which I found beautiful. They make opposite choices, but at the core of each of their arcs is the desire to find out who they are and what their place is in the world.

yaI was tagged by: @inappropriatefangirlneeds thank you very much, hopefully these answers are as detailed as yours, feel free to tag me anytime.
If I were a month, I’d be : I have a soft spot for December cause it’s my birth month but, October also has a place in my heart. I love Halloween. My problem is that I love American weather assigned to months. December is Summer in Australia but I love the idea of Winter December and snow. October in my country is Spring so allergy season and also what we call swooping seasons. I adore the ideas of falling orange leaves, pumpkins and soft greens. I think the slight chill in the air and softer colour palette match the kind of month I’d be. So, in short I’d be American Autmn.
If I were a flower, I’d be: I’ve always adored blue and purple flowers so I’ve been researching flower meanings and also considering the general look of the flowers themselves. So far I appreciate Forget-Me-Nots for their well fairly obvious meaning (remembering those we love who are lost). Cornflowers are my favoutire minecraft flower but the historical association with Nazi’s have kind of pushed me away from picking this one. I evetually decided that based on the meaning of the flower I’d be a blue rose (not a natural rose colour), meaning  “ mystery, the impossible, or the unattainable”. As for looks I’d be a  midnight plum mini calla lily, which is said to symbolise fertility, faithfulness and the part I like rebirth. Best of all the website I used told me that blue roses and midnight plum calla lillies compliment each other.
If I were an album, I’d be : I have a wide taste in music but I’d say I’d be a dramatic/depressing album, maybe with some hopeful songs but not many. I’m torn between Your City Gave Me Asthma by Wlbur Soot, which while I’m not completely in love with all the songs on that album the general soft vibe matches what I want to acheive and also any Cavetown album, I’m leaning towards Sleepyhead but literally Aminal Kingdom and Lemonboy also call to me.
If I were a mineral, I’d be : I was intending to do a lot more research but, one caught my eye almost immedietly with both the meaning, the historical significance as well the meaning amonst those who deal with crystals and the look of the gem itself. Technically it’s not a mineral but a rock but, I’m putting it down anyway. The most common term for them are apache tears, which are rounded pebbles of obsidian. Spiritually they are apparently used for overcoming depression, bringing greif to the forfront to be dealth with and allows people to  reach a “state of self-realization”. Historically they are named for a tribe of Native Americans who rather then be captured ran after losing a battle, rode their horses off a cliff.
If I were a sound, I’d be :  the gasping breath before a sob
If I were a colour, I’d be :   #7f1734 ‘Claret’ A deep shade of red that pairs well with darker colours or greys. Interestingly enough my shade and colours I associate with my friends don’t quite fit but neither do any of their colours with the others and yet I love that.
If I were a drink, I’d be : Something cherry flavoured that’s an acquired taste. If I were an alchohol I’d be, not by choice but if I just were one, I’d be sambuca (a strong flavour that only certain people like).
If I were a fruit, I’d be : I was stuck reading into fruit appearing in myths but I’ll settle for plum.
If I were a quote, I’d be :  I don’t remember a lot of quotes particularly long ones.   have a bad memory. I’d like to say I’d be a Pride and Prejudice quote but I don’t think I’m worthy of Austin. I was trying to think of a suitable fandom quote maybe “It was never meant to be” from the Dream smp or “I don’t want to go” from Doctor Who but I think I’ll pick a song lyric. Of course I went straight to Cavetown. “ I wanna make a colour that no one else has seen before. I wanna be so much more.” This is the one that I picked. Though there are so many. He just makes me feel things, sometimes I am so calm listening to him but then sometimes I’m balling my eyes out.
If I were a television series, I’d be : I want to pick a good one but I don’t think I’m worthy. Maybe a non problematic Gotham but that’s just me projecting. Actually maybe I’d be ‘I Am Not Okay With This’, a beautiful show cancelled for budget cuts after covid but has beautiful representations of mental health, non toxic masculinity and lgbt teens. I think I’d be something that has brillaint gay characters at the very least because that’s very important to me.
If I were a movie, I’d be : Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. It’s brilliant and just my niche.
If I were a fashion brand, I’d be : Probably a really cheap one that makes sizes for bigger people cause I know the pain of nothing pretty ever fitting.
If I were a mythological creature, I’d be :  I love Medusa but creature wise I’d be Bastet from Merlin. I’ve been obsessed with the winged panther creature for years. here’s what Gaius says about the species  “ The writers of old called this creature a Bastet. A monster of nightmare that inhabits the twilight world between the living and the dead”.
If I were a taste, I’d be : An acquired one
If I were a scent, I’d be :  Sweet and floral, just enough to entice someone into asking about it but not overly sickly sweet
If I were a fabric, I’d be :  I want to say silk but I think I’d be leather or velvet. Like the pretty leather that one can make pants out of.
If I were a body part, I’d be :  Back cause I carry a lot of stress
If I were a song: This is difficult. I might pick a Cavetown song but I lean towards She by Dodie Clark. I do like many Cavetown songs but I’ll put down Fool (I am currently listening to it and I just adore it both lyric wise and music wise). Idk either I’d be song about anxiety or being closeted.
If I were a god/goddess, my four attributes would be :  Comfort (I’d want to be Goddess who is there for the vunerable and able to both provide and inspire comfort in self), Attachments (I’d like people to pray for strong platonic attachments to people and animals), Anxiety (I’m a firm believer in the devine having positive and negative traits, I feel like this is a defining traits and the opposite of comfort but that doesn’t mean that people can’t take aspects like overanalysing.) and my final trait would be loss (the other foil to my trait. When to let go of attachments and dealing with loss whether death or other causes).
So, that’s me.
I’d like to tag (feel free not to do it): @marcceh , @leafenclaw , @yanderebeat

Lot I agree with and yes his problem with loss and the way he was brought up is significant.
Here's where I'm coming from though. Karuta itself as a game doesn't reallly matter. What matters in any of these types of stories is not the sport itself, what matters and always will are the characters and their relationships. The sport and competition are useful insofar as they serve as a playground on which these characters develop and interact.
What makes Taichi so interesting as a character is that his relationship with Karuta exemplifies this principle the most. There are different levels of complexities through which it is expressed. First of all there's what we're talking about which is his inability, because of the way he brought up, to deal with loss in a healthy way. We see this in the flashbacks when he's praised and pushed to be the best at even Karuta and he stoops so low to maintain that as to steal Arata's glasses.
But there's also another dimension to it which is his feelings for Chihaya. Huge part (maybe the main reason) of why he worked hard to excell at it is to get noticed by her since it's the thing that has taken her whole focus. That's why he wanted to win against her that badly.
Thens theres another layer to it which is Arata. His inferiority complex with regards to Arata signifies both "struggles". Arata is someone that he (believes) he can't beat. He thinks they're not or can't be even on the same level. That highlights his problematic relationship with losing and not being the best at something as he was pushed since he was a kid. But not only that, Arata's excellence at Karuta grabs Chihaya's entire attention. Her passion for the sport starts with him and he continues to be someone she looks up to. (She later develops her own reasons for reaching the top that has more to do with her rivalry with shinobu)
Apologoies for the long introduction. But this kind of mishmash of struggles and renaltionships fueled by his anxities and insecuries manifesting in his relationship with Karuta is exactly why I don't think like you think, which is that his arc is about coping with loss and therefore losing was necessary. That's merely one aspect to the story. There are different lessons that can be learned and each could take his arc in a different direction. Just to give you an example I can totally see a conclusion where he ends up with Chihaya but ultimately loses to Arata. The arc could be him learning that not being the best at Karuta isn't the end of the world and that appreciation and self worth dont and shouldnt come from his skill at Karuta. That lesson can be validated by Chihaya for whome excellence at Karuta was not a deciding factor in seeing his worth and deciding to be with him.
I could imagine the opposite where he does beat Arata but doesn't win over chihaya. And the lesson can be that it was insane from the beginning to try to win a person over using Karuta and how that developed an unhealthy relation in which he tied his self worth and performance and enjoyment of Karuta to Chihaya(we see that clearly since its been pointed out several times that when she's there he underperforms) . So "losing chihaya" to Arata wasn't the end of the world and his enjoyment of Karuta shouldn't depend on his attempt to win over Chihaya and that he can find fulfillmemt in working hard at something and excelling at it against all odds but free of the insecurities he brought with him initially.
There are many ways through which he can find self worth be it within Karuta or outside it. My problem with your take is as I said the emphasis on one aspect which is the competitive loss. (Also I think it's kinda misleading to talk about loss. He loses a lot and keeps pushing himself all the time. Sense of cope with not being the best or at Arata's level is more accurate). But if you add the Chihaya dimension you could make a coherent but also satisfying conclusion in which he loses in both aspects but finds self worth.
Guess my point is everyone should stop dismissing others criticisms and for everyone to stop seeing their interpertation as the only valid one.
P.s. I still prefer my arc in which he loses in all aspects but doesn't find self fulfillment either inside or outside of Karuta.
Sorry for rambling for so long.
I don’t mind rambling! I ramble all the time, as I’m sure you’re already aware, lol. And I think I understand what the miscommunication between us is now. I don’t think at all that loss is the all-defining trait of his character arc or the only one by which his character resolutions will ultimately be made. It’s just the one I’ve focused on specifically in my posts since yesterday because of the issue I had with people’s interpretation of that depiction of loss to begin with. I wholeheartedly agree that Taichi’s arc conclusion is also definitely going to take into account his feelings regarding Chihaya and Arata respectively; those are also really important closures he has to reach in order to be able to move forward, and they tie in just as heavily to his issues with self-worth. I’ve discussed those in detail elsewhere, though, so I wanted to focus on the loss aspect specifically with that post I made yesterday, because the overwhelmingly negative reaction to it kind of baffles me. That’s not to say that I think people with other view points are outright wrong or that people don’t deserve their right to criticism. Any narrative is going to warrant that after all, and that’s the beauty of discourse! But I feel like a lot of people who are upset with where Taichi’s arc goes tend to feel like Suetsugu abruptly ended it with the Qualifiers and defined it by that loss—even the main translation team that had been handling scalantions for years quit after the Qualifiers were over, because they weren’t satisfied with the direction his story took—and to me at least, I don’t think that was the end of his story, and there’s still resolutions left to be made by him afterward. I can definitely understand people still being doubtful to a degree, of course, but I simply hope people can be patient enough to see Taichi’s ultimate endgame before they decide whether what everything he went through was worth it or not and if that loss was really the end for him. I have my own doubts about things, too, but I want to afford Suetsugu that chance to prove herself first, I guess. I know that’s not something everyone will feel about similarly, but maybe I feel about it that way because I’m a writer myself. 😂

“I’m growing madder by the day. It doesn’t matter, anyway. Over dramatic and insane, but you look at me so differently. Oh, me specifically.” - Problematic [Get Scared]
Tumblr media
To be engaged with a stranger or an acquaintance was common in the royal family. It might sound restricting because that meant you would be married to someone you barely knew, but the life of royalty had always been predestined since birth. Clearly, it wasn’t all wealth and elegant garments like most people thought. They had an image; a reputation to uphold. One blemish was all it took for everything to go downhill, and for them to lose their honors.
Jungkook was the second and the last son of the Jeon siblings. However, just because he wouldn't be the next king, doesn’t mean he had more freedom than his brother. He was still a prince after all - had an area that he needed to look after as his responsibility - and a prince needed his partner as well. Jung Hyun, his brother, was already betrothed with a princess from the Gwangju Kingdom. Thus, with Jungkook's 19th birthday drawing near, his parents decided to drop a bombshell on him.
“Darling,” Queen Jeon spoke up once her younger son had seated in front of them.
The butler had approached him after his meeting with the officials, asking for his assistance in the great hall as requested by the king. Jungkook was confused but obeyed nonetheless in case it was important.
“Your father and I have discussed regarding your future partner. We know that you’ve received a lot of marriage proposals from other kingdoms. Thus, we elected Princess [Name] from the Daegu Kingdom as your consort.”
She paused, taking in Jungkook's silence before her husband continued. “We shall visit them tomorrow after breakfast.”
Jungkook remained quiet. He supposed he should be angry that they had decided such an important thing without his knowledge – for God's sake, they wanted him to marry a woman he had never met! – but Jungkook felt... content. Content because that meant he shouldn’t have to undergo the laborious process of wooing and courting. That, and because Jungkook was too shy with the opposite sex. So with this engagement, he just needed to proceed without having to worry about who he would marry later.
“This engagement will strengthen our relationship with the Daegu Kingdom. I hope you understand, Jungkook.” Queen Jeon said softly, fearing that her son might lash out to them. Not that he would, though. Jungkook had always been an obedient child, and a tad naïve too.
He nodded dutifully, much to their satisfaction. “Of course, I understand.” he murmured.
“I’m glad, son.” King Jeon reached out to pat him on the shoulder, smiling proudly for Jungkook's compliance despite the guilt that gnawed on his chest.
Every parent wants their child to be happy, and this arranged marriage was less than ideal. Yet how he could object, when he had been ordered to marry Queen Jeon either? Sure, they had eventually 'grown' to love each other - to make the best of it because they didn't need to trouble their families - but to marry someone that you loved would better.
“But I should forewarn you that Princess [Name] can be a little... aloof. So I hope you don’t take her attitude too personally.” King Jeon said, his expression turning a bit serious.
Jungkook shook his head. “I won’t, don’t worry.”
‘A little’ was an understatement. You were as distant as your oldest brother, Yoongi, if not more. Taehyung, the middle child, was friendlier and slightly eccentric. Although he did retain a somewhat aloof aura like the other two. Jungkook noted it was a trait that ran in the family, despite the fact that their parents had made the efforts to be more welcoming.
Even though Jungkook had been informed by King Jeon regarding your demeanor, he couldn’t help the sadness that prickled his chest by your lack of enthusiasm over their arrival. Other than a curtsy, you didn't bother to start a conversation with him. Jungkook might be shy, but he still wanted you to be comfortable around him. How would he know about your true feelings concerning this betrothal if you refused to talk?
The answer came very soon – fortunately for him and unfortunately to you – when your mother asked you to bring him to the garden for a ‘chat’. You complied without a second thought, leading him to a huge backyard. Flowers and plants of various sizes, types, and colors bloomed magnificently under the warm sunlight. Dare he said it was bigger than his own garden back at home.
“You have a gorgeous place,” he murmured as an icebreaker. His chest squeezed painfully when he picked up the sound of your quiet scoff.
“I don’t like you,” you said bluntly, face emotionless and lips stretched into a thin line.
Jungkook's eyes looked like they were about to pop off from their sockets; the abruptness of your response completely threw him off guard.
“The only reason why I agree with this engagement is that I don’t want to have unnecessary problems with your kingdom. Because, obviously, a peaceful relation is more important than a loveless marriage. I don’t even know you.”
You sneered, oblivious to the tears that stung his eyes when you said those acrid words. Did you really hate him that much even though you claimed that you didn’t know him? Wasn’t it a bit unfair though? You hadn’t given him a chance to show more of his personality yet. How could you suddenly decide that you despised him?
“Why...?” he whispered, afraid that if he raised his voice any higher he would accidentally break down. He wasn’t a weak man, but even he wasn’t insensitive to pain. Just because men are often taught to be tough, doesn’t mean they don’t possess feelings. Just like women aren't always sensitive and a crybaby.
“Isn’t it obvious?” you huffed as if his question wasn’t worth answering. “I don’t like you. I’ve said it a few minutes ago if you bothered to listen.”
Jungkook scowled. “You're so judgmental.” He didn’t intend to be sassy, especially at first meeting, because his parents had told him over and over again to make a good impression before they arrived. Yet, your senseless hate was starting to irk him.
“Aren’t we all?” you retorted offhandedly. Jungkook noticed your gaze drifted towards a man in the distance, crouching near the roses. It was discreet; others might dismiss it as you staring off the distance.
          But Jungkook wasn't a fool.
The man looked about in his mid-twenty; with big physique, natural black hair, and handsome profile. Maybe too handsome for a mere worker. He wore a plain top with brown overalls and dirty dark boots. He carefully cut the flowers, brows furrowed and pink lips pouted. Sweats dripped from his forehead, and Jungkook observed the way your eyes watching them disappear under his shirt intensely.
Jungkook pushed his tongue against the hollow of his cheek. It didn’t take a genius to know that you liked him – that gardener. Both sexually and romantically. Your body language practically screamed longing and attraction; lingering yet wistful glances, one foot pointed towards that man's direction, body shifted slightly to him, head turned away a little, brows furrowed, and lips lowered. However, you refrained from approaching him due to Jungkook's presence, as it could indicate disrespect to the current partner.
At least you knew how to be polite, despite your bluntness and captiousness.
          Still, that just wouldn’t do.
Growing up as he did, Jungkook was used to people paying full attention to what he said. And now, here you were, ignoring him and instead of indulging yourself in watching some lowly worker.
He needed you to focus on him, and him only.
If you said that everyone was judgmental, then surely you wouldn’t mind if he was being judgmental to that scum?
“I see now...” Jungkook nodded to himself, ignoring your curious and confused glance. He raised his head and stared straight into your eyes.
How pretty, he thought. If only you’d look at him the same way you looked at that man. After all, Jungkook was your betrothed. Not that man. Jungkook deserved better treatment than this. And if he couldn’t get it with a gentle approach, then he just had to use the hard way.
Jungkook didn’t want to do this, but boundaries need to be drawn. He was a prince; he wasn’t born to be treated like trash, especially by his own fiancée. The one person who should revere him the way he revered her.
“It is pleasant to talk with you, Your Highness. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to tend to some important matters.” He bowed and headed inside before you had a chance to reply.
Of course, just because that bastard was the object of your affection, doesn’t mean you were free from punishment either. But Jungkook was a lenient man; willing to overlook an error as long as you learned your mistake and promise not to repeat it.
The next month, he visited the Daegu Kingdom again. This time, he came without his parents' assistance. You appeared in the threshold of the castle, having been informed that he'd like to see you in person, with a stoic face. Yet, one could see the deep sadness and grief in the crevices of your hollow eyes. And although Jungkook felt a bit guilty to see your state, he knew that it was the right choice to make.
Nobody messed with Jungkook and stole what was his.
“Your Highness,” he bowed respectfully and deeply because even if you were rude to him before, you were still a princess. And you deserved your honor.
Jungkook was optimistic that you would open up to him very soon. How could you not? All a grieving person needs is reassurance and consolation, and Jungkook was more than happy to share them with you. Thus, a closer bond would eventually be formed.
It was such a simple plan, yet it still required great thinking and accuracy. Everything needed to proceed according to his bidding; to ensure that there would be no evidence left. Jin’s body shouldn’t be found in any way, be it a strand of hair or even a lint. He had to disappear. Literally and figuratively.
Jungkook frowned, assuming the front of a concerned prince. “Your Highness, you seem a little pale. Is everything alright?”
You nodded, unable to look at him in the eye like you used to. Jungkook mentally scoffed at your stubbornness. It was obvious that you weren’t in your best condition, as you appeared that you would rather be on the bed than here. But Jungkook understood the importance of appearing healthy even if you weren’t.
For the sake of other people. It was always like that. Unchanging.
“I’m fine. Thank you for asking,” you mumbled. Jungkook detected the slightest crack in your voice and resisted the simper that twitched his lips.
“I’ve heard about what happened to your gardener...” he trailed off, discerning your tensing shoulders. Great reaction, just as he expected. “It was truly an unfortunate accident.”
You looked down. “I know...” Was all you said before drops of tears trickled down from your reddened nose.
“Oh, Your Highness.” Jungkook gently pulled you into his embrace and noted with great satisfaction your lack of resistance. Instead, you accepted it as if it was the last hug you would receive from a living human being. “I’m sorry. It must be hard to lose such an important person.”
You merely sobbed against his chest, unaware of the emphasis he purposefully put on the edge of the sentence. Not that you needed to know, anyway. Jin was already gone. Once and for all.
“He left...” you hiccupped, your tears staining his crimson vest but he didn’t care. “He left... just like that. He didn’t even say goodbye...”
“Shush,” Jungkook stroked your hair affectionately. He knew it was rather inappropriate to exhibit an intimate action like this, especially when there were a lot of guards nearby. Then again, since when did Jungkook ever care? You were finally in his arms, and he’d be damned if he let such an opportunity to pass by. “It's all right. You don’t need to say anything. Just let it all out; I promise I won’t judge you.”
It was true; you really didn’t need to say anything. Because Jungkook knew. Because he was the real mastermind behind Jin’s accident.
Because he was the manipulator. The cause of it all.
Not that you needed to know, anyway.

The Blocklist: A essay (this is very long)
I know everyones sick of it at this point but I got shit to say so feel free to not read this absolute unit of a poorly written essay. The jjbablocklist divided their list into two different list now. One for creators and one for consumers/rebloggers and I cannot stress enough about how dumb that is since it shouldve been done since the beggining. Also, following alot of these artist and “consumers” of these medias, I noticed some of them are falsely accused, others while being minors. here’s why:
1. A lot of teens and young adults in the community like ships like GioMis, FuMis, NaraGio, MisTrish and plenty more and I know your singular shared braincell cannot handle the idea of 2-3 year age gaps not being pedophilia, but uh, newsflash for ya, THEY AINT. Legally, it is not a crime and that in america where the age of consent is 18, not in Italy where its 15 and not in Japan where its even less. Under the general United States Law, which is where I assume the list makers/defenders are mostly from, these ships are not classified as pedophilia or should be problematic and the ages of consent change to lower ages depending on state. The only way you can add these shippers for their “crimes” is if they promoted or created the interactions of these characters in a sexual or intimate manner whether they are aged up or not, which is still wack if their age is above that of the age of consent in writing/art and the fact that minors, in this case teenagers with the VA cast, are allowed to express themselves with people of their own age group in a sexual manner, real life kids do it all the time amongst themselves so why shouldnt people be able to create it, the whole ordeal is ridiculous imo BUT I can see how it makes a lot of people uncomfortable, a lot of it makes me uncomfortable too so we gotta make compromises somehow so absolutely no lewding the mafia lolis/ jojo lolis in general and if you do, tag it properly so it doesnt spread onto the basic hastags of characters and the show. If you dont you on the list.
2. Claim genderswapping/r63 is transphobic all you want but until I see clear and definitive proof of it being purposely made for that purpose then it’s absolutely ok. If someone makes it to offend someone then its wrong and they should be called out for it (which has never been the case in this fanbase as far as I cant tell) It’s creative, it allows people create new desings for characters or adjust current ones for cosplayers or other artist. Im sure one of your mods can relate, since the do the exact same thing as we do while not addressing a certaint character properly by their canon pronouns. Genderbending does not promote the attack or harrasement of the trans community and that is a fact unless its done by actual problematic artist like Sh*dbase and others, which is still a stretch because I dont think they’ve done it to target people or make fun of them but they are the popular problem icons. So get the actual transphobes on the list, aka those who created the content specifically to harras a specific person, or remove the catergory entirely. Its unnecessary and hypocritical.
— The rest of these are just things that bother a lot of people in the community so if you only cared about minors being on the list then you dont have to continue reading. —
Tumblr is infamously known to be a shitshow of a site where all you can find is problematic content. If you dont like this kind of content, why the hell are you here in the first place? There’s a lot of safer websites to use where like instagram, twitter, amino, facebook, and more. They have actual filters unlike tumblr and finding content you dont like is a lot harder unless you are purposefully looking for it, and even then it could be a challenge due to shadow bans or privatized accounts. Tumblr has none of that, everyone knows it, all of those who dont like it try to stay away from it or use it very scarcely. Why do you think that most of these “problematic” artist/creators/consumers are here? Tumblr has always been its own weird realm, trying to make it anything else goes against what it stand for.
You’re crimes make are literal nonsense sometimes because you include such obvious personal attacks like “Made a literal essay defending GioMis” and “All kinds of awful stuff” as crimes. You added a few account because they message you about how ridiculous the whole ordeal is and you take to findind the slightest bit of “evidence” that can aid you into making them look bad. You know thats not a good reason right?? Even if it were, yall are even more guilty for committing acts of Liable and Defamation and you are choosing to for those you incorrectly put on the list, invluding the minors! Let alone hypocrisy but yall are tired of hearing that one.
Dont add other fandoms into this mess. The Hetalia fandom has been dead for more than 5 years and it aint none of your buisness. It has nothing to do with Jojo. Unless you plan on making more blocklist for ALL fandoms then, goodluck, though make em better.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is a wonderful and yet problematic series, guess who’s fault it is... its Araki’s. Created a hilarious nazi character, nah its the fanbases fault for roleplaying such a funny character. Pedophilia and rape represented in Jojo and not treated seriously, nah its the fandoms fault for romanticizing it. Homophobia as character traits and degradation of women in Jojo, pfft nah f a n d o m s f a u l t for painting such “false” representations of the characters. Ah, but yall wont drop Jojo cuz that kid your trying to control media for wont drop it either. It is not your responsibility to create a childproof community when the show already has heavy themes. Its their caretakers/parents or the childs own responsibility.
I despise the argument “well Jojo is a 17+ only show so no kids allowed!” you might be right, but has that really ever stopped kids from doing anything?? It does the opposite, it creates a sense of overwhelming curiosity which leads to venturing unkown territory which they may or may not end up enjoying. The problem lies wether young teens are mature enough to watch it or not and judging by this whole fiasco, alot of the people, teens and adults, involved are not.
YOU ARE NOT JUDGE JURY AND EXECUTIONER AND YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO POLICE A MEDIA YOU DO NOT OWN OR TAKE RESPONSIBILITY INTO DOING IT FOR SOMEONE ELSE
I will give you this guys this, theres a few artist and creators that do belong there, very few as far as I could see and read into and some are missing since they are mostly on twitter instead of tumblr. But hey, I managed to find like 12 accounts that I probably wouldn’t like seeing the content of, and I found a lot of good accounts too. A hell of a lot more.
I know Im harsh and a total loser but y’all really gotta do some damage control and think ahead. Merely ignoring the fact that your movement cause a floodwave of hatred, deaththreats and suicide baiting is disgusting, adress it properly, dont condone it. Cuz Im yall wouldnt like 200+ messages of “Kill yourself you of lowlife degenerate. I dont like your the disgusting trash you like so I hope you rot in hell for the rest of your life” It isnt fun, a lot of people have received these, some are even worse and a lot dont even deserve it.
Run the list correctly, its a good idea, it could’ve been handled way better than this and you guys know it. This would’ve been great for 14 year old me not stumbling onto a lot of problematic ships when I first looked up Jojo and it can help many children in the community in the future, but you are ruiling out a majority of the fanbase with such vague and pointless rules as regular shipping and creative freedom. You are demonizing people who like basic shipping and different character desings, and that’ll scare them because they dont want tobe hated for something they like. Because a few biased opinions decided to rule out that what the kids liked is morally wrong and irredeemable. Cuz thats all I can see on the list with the exception of maybe a 12 people on the list. Thats all the rest of the JJBA community sees.

I used to be fairly tolerant of Kousuke and hoped that he would get better at some point (I’m still confident that he will) but by now, I can’t bring myself to like him anymore. How is it that women WHO DONT EVEN KNOW SHIN AE were able to tell that she was uncomfortable but Kousuke not only recognized it but IGNORED it. And not enough people talk about how toxic his fans are. I literally saw one of them hoping Nol gets killed off but the minute a Nol fan say something slightly negative about Kousuke they want to scream and holler about Nol fans being toxic and pathetic. Kousuke could literally smack Shin Ae across the face and they’d still trip over themselves to defend him. I’m so tired of it! So since Im done being afraid of toxic Kousuke fans attacking me, I’m going to give my honest analysis of his and Shin Ae’s relationship.
There is too big of a power imbalance. Not only is Kousuke older than her, he’d have power over her financially and socially. Not to mention, HES HER BOSS! The difference of power in their theoretical relationship is uncomfortable at best and problematic at worst.
While Shin Ae may make Kousuke a better person, he certainly does the opposite for her. He brings out her worst traits, flaring up her temper while also making her feel insecure. As long as that power imbalance is still in place, she’s not going have the confidence to stand to him. (Or maybe she will, that could possibly be a climax in this arc, who knows.)
Kousuke’s public visibility would make Shin Ae uncomfortable. She’d be absolutely miserable, not only because of the social pressure she’d be put under, but the constant parties and the sucking up to rich people. She’d hate that! Shin Ae definitely wouldn’t want to still be in poverty but being comfortable is what she prefers, including in her life style. Middle class is probably her dream life.
Kousuke has no regard for her comfort. All of their interactions (save maybe the first time they met at the mall) has been him pushing her out of her comfort zone. Obviously, this is something Nol isn’t innocent of either but, Shin Ae had the confidence to stand up to him to which he made an effort to accommodate to her needs. Kousuke has never done such, actively insulting her, embarrassing her, and then pressuring her into something she’s not comfortable with multiple. times.
*Edit, forgot about this point* Kousuke and Shin Ae’s relationship developes through outside interference, such as Mama Qtip or the job. SA and YG actively seek each other out to talk about they’re problems, the hallmark of a healthy relationship.
Over all, I consider SA and K’s relationship a “Land where nothing grows” type. They may love each other, but neither would be truly happy in the relationship, possibly even hurting each other in the process. Neither are bad people (objectivity, still think Kousuke’s an asshole) but they just don’t go well together. I honestly think Alyssa would be a better match for him, the only real problem, again, coming from the age difference. But the power imbalance isn’t there. This is my opinion obviously, but I honestly feel this way. Kousuke just isn’t a viable option for Shin Ae to me anymore.

Queen of Air and Darkness (Spoilery) Thoughts
I read the whole damn book, and the entire shadowhunters saga before it. that’s the background i have before i go off below.
SPOILERS BELOW
1) I really, really like how, in this book, Julian *earned* the “ruthless” and “calculating” persona that the author and the narrative always seemed to apply to him in the trilogy. I’ve always loved the idea of portraying someone who could be fundamentally kind-hearted and sweet while capable of being cunning and duplicitous. The author in the past referenced how Emma’s more straight-forward character versus Julian’s reliance on schemes reflect the opposite traits their genders are usually associated with, but the books used to always put this on Emma’s shoulders to be the next “Jace” (alpha leader and warrior) rather than really show us a Julian who is sweet to his family, but more than willing to do insane things with trickery rather than flashy swords. This book changed that, and I’m glad although I wasn’t a fan of a lot of his decisions this book. I definitely felt like at the least, whatever I thought of him, he had *earned* the reputation the narrative and author placed on him. There aren’t many male characters in fiction with as sophisticated in role as Julian (Jace, as great as he is, is definitely a stereotype, as is Simon). The closest parallel I can come to is Peeta, but Julian is definitely distinct in his style as a character.
2) I did not see the AU thing coming. At all. It wasn’t a shocker so much as a “what?” I really liked the idea of the main characters wandering in and interacting with a fictional alternate universe, as well as the characters talking with alternate versions of the people they knew. I think it was 100% intentional that Clary died at the Battle of the Burren and not later in the narrative of the Mortal Instruments, because it is pretty clear in this book and in the TMI series that Sebastian would have forced Clary to be completely *his* if he won while she was alive. The author made the smart bet that Clary is better off dead without that happening to her than keeping her alive in the alternate universe, and putting her in that situation where she would have become Endarkened and/or Sebastian’s “queen.” Not just better off because of the plot persay, but better off because that would be sadistic as a writer to do upon the narrative, and the alternate universe is already plenty sadistic without adding that element in.
3) I’m really, really curious about Thule!Jace. If Sebastian is dead, is he himself again? How much of himself can he be after being a killer for many years, and an aid to the apocalypse? Also, Julian killing Thule!Julian to save Thule!Livia was...wow. It definitely mirrored Achilles killing Hector while Hector was wearing Achilles’ former armor, making it seem like Achilles was killing himself (and he was). I definitely wish that was played on, or used as a subtle hint of foreshadowing. It was just a metaphor, which is fine, but I would have liked to see the implications of it dissected more.
4) I’m not the author, but something I felt very strongly about was that Livia should not appear in the books after her death. Not as a ghost, not in an alternate universe. Thule!Livia was really cool, and I get the point that the author was trying to make-she got to be the chosen one in the alternate universe as recompense for being murdered in the real world-but I think it’s really problematic to be like “death can’t be messed with” and then have said dead character pop up every two minutes. Real death isn’t like that. Nobody is going to see their loved ones again until after death, not as a ghost, not as a alternate universe anything. Pulling that kind of move comes off as fan-service, and cheapens the death of Livia. If the point is to make Livia’s death heart-breaking and tragic-because it is-than the narrative needs to commit to the fact that she is dead. No pop-up visits, no alternate version of her, nothing. At best maybe, a vision of the past or what could have been but not this. Also, Ty was being stupid, and he was being so stupid that I think the narrative wanted to make him stupid more than I believed he actually was that stupid. If you’re going to have someone go the whole “i’m gonna bring my loved one back from the dead,” you gotta go all the way Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, or don’t bother. That manga *earned* the story it got out of that narrative, and this one was a weak echo.
5) A lot of this book felt like set-up for the Wicked Powers more than it felt like specifically part of this trilogy. This was true of City of Heavenly Fire, and this wasn’t as bad, but it was annoying. Annabelle, for all her glory on the cover and the namesake of the book, is barely a factor in the plot’s narrative. She gets killed off with little repercussion or discussion, and Horace is swiftly disposed of. Which, fine, but you have to earn that. That wasn’t earned in the narrative. Dane and Samantha Larkspears’ deaths were well-done and haunting in their own ways.
6) I think Zara and Manuel are gonna be the villains of the Wicked Powers, which I am very much looked forward to seeing that dynamic play out.
7) Christina’s polyamorous relationship felt...tacked in. The build-up for her and Kieran to have feelings for each other literally was only in this book. It’s not that such a dynamic is impossible to pull off, it just felt very apparent that this was shoe-horned in the last book instead of naturally developing. Mark and Kieran, I buy. Mark and Christina, I buy. Kieran and Christina? Eh. I will, but I’m not entirely sold if that was a natural progression of the narrative or a demand of the narrative on them.
8) I love Clary and Jace in this book. The roles felt clear and I could see them as themselves. Simon and Isabelle got drastically cut-they’re barely cameos-while Alec and Magnus are supporting characters throughout the trilogy.
9) Ash is interesting. I genuinely don’t know how that dynamic will play out. I really hope he’s not another Evil Morgenstern bc...we’ve got enough of those. I don’t mind mysterious/grey, but he better not be the Villain of the next trilogy. That said, I wanna see where his character goes because he clearly is not fitting into any boxes of savior/victim. Tbh, there’s no reason he should have wings at all.
10) Diego got a really hot scar across his face that screams “I watched the Force Awakens.” Which is fine, because I can appreciate dramatic scars across the face. Additionally, there are such strong Hamilton references in this book that as I read it, I literally thought to myself “and the author discovered Hamilton while writing this book.”
11) Horace got disposed of so quickly in the overall saga that it’s annoying that he got built up so high by the narrative. He barely lasted two books before getting neatly killed off.
12) I honestly feel like the author kinda moved on from doing a series on a supernatural universe with all sorta of creatures to fixating on faeries. The last 4 books in the Shadowhunters saga have focused primarily on the faeries, with background attention to other creatures.
13) I want the world for Dru. Really. She’s the character I’m the most excited to see in the Wicked Powers.

Can you please write a scenario where karasuno first year are in poly relationship and being possessive of yachi ? If it makes you uncomfortable then don't write anything ~
Hi dear!
Why should I ignore this ask? This is the best. Do you know what I love but I’ve never had the chance to write about? Karasuno First Years as Third Years. And guess what I did here? Exactly.  I’ve so many headcanons about them, I could do a PowerPoint presentation. THEY ARE GOING TO BE THE BEST.
I’m still learning how to describe a polyamorous relationship properly, so I hope you’ll be satisfied. Especially because maybe I focused too much on them as a whole than their possessiveness 😖
Let me know and enjoy!
Have a nice day!
TsukkiYamaYachiKageHina, Karasuno’ First Years as Third Years, Fluff, Protective Boyfriends, Polyamorous Relationship, Aged-Up Characters
 A Long Way
It’d passed sixth months, but Yachi still couldn’t believe it.
Timid, shy, always freaking out, Townpersn B Yachi getting not one, but four boyfriends? Yeah, it sounded incredible to her too.
Sometimes she would look at the boys and think, “Ah, I’d love to be with them so much!”, before remembering that now she was, she was with them in every sense.
It had taken them three years, but now they were riding their last year of high school full force and filled with confidence and happiness.
Hinata had become the Captain of Karasuno, the bubbling Small Giant who led his team to the victory with endless energy; Tsukishima, smart, cool and observant Tsukishima, was the Vice-Captain who kept on the leash the most troublesome teammates and came up with the most brilliant strategies to crush their opponents. Kind Yamaguchi had found his self-confidence and was the unshakable pillar of the team, unanimously nicknamed “Momguchi” by all the younger boys, who always searched for him when something was wrong. Kageyama had gained the warmth and love he had always searched for, giving an all different meaning to the title “King of The Court”; his only presence reassured his teammates and frightened the adversaries.
And Yachi?
She still had an over-active fantasy and got flustered more easily than ever, but, now, when the team playing glanced at the side of the court, they would find their small, anxious fairy cheering for them with a flaming passion. She would rush to them if they got injured, with a determined look and a first-aid kit ready in the hands; she would always have what they needed before they could even ask for it. The Big Sister of Karasuno.
It was strange being sort-of responsible third years, they’d come a long way. Well, at least they were for the new team. Their old senpais and friends still liked to call them “Troublesome First Years”.
And troublesome they had remained, but now it was for the others team.
“We’ve arrived!” Coach Takeda cheered, glad to be on time, as he opened the doors of the gym of the school where they’d come to play. Coach Ukai grunted and followed after him, taking in the place and immediately studying the other team, already stretching.
The Crows strolled confidently into the gym, wearing their black tracksuits. Many of the adversaries blushed as they glanced at the newcomers, whispering between themselves.
Yachi walked in first, with a shy, but dazzling smile; her blond hair had grown, and she kept them in a lateral pony-tail, her traits had gotten more refined, but still held an innocent, soft light.
She was a sight to see, the type of girl you’d love to introduce to your parents, and half of the third-years swore they’d have gone to ask her number, if not for her…intimidating entourage.
“HERE WE GO!” Hinata yelled as he bounced behind her, pumping his fists in the air. He had grown slightly taller and the undercut made him look less childish and more boyish; he’d also gained quite the physique.
“Calm down, dumbass,” Kageyama growled, behind him, but there was no bite in his voice. He’d grown too, slender and refined; the aura around him was quieter than when he was younger, but he was still enough intimidating.
“The first-years will follow your bad example,” Yamaguchi chuckled between them as he looked around, humming. His green hair was tied in a pony-tail, and his face was free from worry or anxiety. Some juniors walked nervously behind him like ducklings, bashing in his refreshing aura to calm down their nerves.
“They need some good enthusiasm before a match!” Hinata laughed, wrapping his arms behind their necks and pulling them down at his height. Kageyama swore, frowning, but did nothing to free himself, while Yamaguchi rolled his eyes.
“No, that’s not what they need, for Heaven’ sake,” Tsukishima deadpanned, joining them, after having regrouped the rest of team, “Especially not them,” he added dryly as three of the more “problematic” first years rushed past them, yelling loudly as, if not more than their Captain.
Yachi chuckled, covering her mouth, “Yeah, I believe they have already enough.”
As expected, the three, caught in their excitement, risked crashing against some players warming up on the floor and, to avoid the collision, they ended up again the benches with a loud racket.
The coaches groaned and facepalmed.
Hinata flinched at the sight, muttering an “Ooops.”
Tsukishima’s face went even blanker.
“I’ll kill them,” he hissed flatly, and moved as to reach the boys to skin them alive, but Kageyama tapped his arm.
“It’s fine, I’ll go,” he reassured him, with a meaningful glance.
Tsukishima seemed to debate it for a second, before he nodded.
“Thanks, King,” he muttered, and Kageyama stomped towards their rowdy first-years, who paled and scrambled to their knees.
“Is it everything alright, Kei?” Yachi asked softly with a pink dust on her cheeks, squeezing his hand. He looked down at her and his features softened.
“Yeah, those idiots made a ruckus on the bus; they gave me a headache,” he grumbled, as Yamaguchi chuckled, patting his back.
“We know that you love them,” he taunted with a wink, aware of his boyfriend’ soft spot for all the first years.
He grimaced but didn’t try to deny it.
“It doesn’t mean they’re not annoying, little shits.”
“Tsukki, language!” Hinata and Yamaguchi exclaimed at the same time, pinching his sides, as Yachi laughed.
In the meanwhile, Kageyama was scolding the troublemakers with his arms crossed; well, “scold” wasn’t the right term since Kageyama was even softer than Tsukishima towards them, but for certain he was making sure they would behave for the rest of the day. The three actually worshipped the ground where he walked, much to his embarrassment; especially the young, boisterous setter who seemed to have elected him as his role model.
“Who could have ever thought Bakeyama could be this good at taming?” Hinata whistled, brimming with pride.
“He’s used to dealing with you,” the blond replied with a smirk, “Who’s been annoying and troublesome from the very first day.”
“Hey!” Hinata pouted, glaring, “He was as bad as me!”
“Nothing to say against that,” the other agreed, amused, and Hinata groaned, “But at least he’s calmed down, while you always seem high on caffeine.”
“That’s not true!”
“It is,” Yamaguchi piped in, chuckling.
“But we still love you like you are,” Yachi added to prevent a further banter, tugging the hem of his uniform.
“A lot,” the other assured.
At their words, Hinata immediately beamed as the sun itself, radiating happiness. He turned to Tsukishima with a hopeful look.
The boy rolled his eyes, faking to not fall for it even if everyone knew they were all weak for The Special Hinata’ Shining  Smile.
“…yeah, love you lots and cheesy shit like that…” he mumbled, trying to hide his blush by turning the face.
“I LOVE YOU TOO!” Hinata yelled, jumping in the air and attracting the entire gym’s attention, at the same time as Yamaguchi jabbed Tsukishima’ side with a “Language, Tsukki!”
“You’re so embarrassing…” Tsukishima hissed, fixing his glasses, while Yachi hid her face between the hands with a strangled “Shou!”
“Ah, sorry!” he laughed, looking everything but sorry.
“Dumbass! We need our Captain!” Kageyama shouted to them, from the benches. He was surrounded by the rest of the team, who looked at them expectantly, some exasperated by their antics. Yeah, some of their second years took no shit.
Yachi grinned, “Mother hen and his hatchlings,” she commented fondly, staring at the scene. Kageyama stood out ridiculously between the shorter players.
“Sometimes I’d like to hand him my title,” Yamaguchi sighed happily as they reached the team.
Tsukishima snorted, “The first years could cry, you’re officially The Mom.”
“Yeah, Kags is not enough sensible!” Hinata chirped, bouncing on his heels.
“Who’s not enough sensible?” Kageyama growled, grabbing his head with a scowl.
“It hurts!” Hinata faked to cry as he wiggled out of his grip, even though everybody knew that Kageyama’d have never put enough strength to actually harm him. It was just their way of playing around.
“Alright, alright. That’s enough for today,” Coach Ukai interrupted them, “We’ve to start warming up. Are you ready, Karasuno?”
They exchanged heated, knowing glances, before screaming in unison, “AYE!”
Tsukushima’s first duty was analyzing the opposite team and taking note of every detail; he’s learned through the various camps from Kenma, and he rarely missed something now.
That’s how, as they played, he noticed.
Kenma would always say to follow the eyes of a player when they thought you were not paying attention to know where their mind was. Apparently, the mind of that third-year middle blocker was not on volleyball.
He took his place beside Kageyama, as Yamaguchi prepared to serve, and raised the hands over the head. If there was someone enough observant to have noticed, it was the setter.
“Have you seen?” He murmured quietly to the raven, who gave him a quick glance.
“The middle-blocker?” he asked.
“Yes.”
“He’s looking at our benches.”
“He’s looking at Yachi,” Tsukishima corrected dryly.
“Ah?” Kageyama growled, frowning, “What the hell?” A dark aura surrounded the two.
“Yeah, what the hell,” the blond clicked his tongue and squared his shoulders, “Toss it higher.”
“Slam it down.”
And in less then half a minute, the ball bounced with a loud thud against the ground and the crowd cheered. Tsukishima landed gracefully and towered over the fallen middle-blocker with a smirk.
“I don’t think you’ve got the time appreciate the view, don’t you think?” he slyly alluded, as his opponent swore under his breath.
“I’ll make you eat it back, lanky asshole!”
“Try,” Kageyama challenged in all seriousness, “We won’t let you the time to breath.” A cold threat vibrated in his words as he fixed the blue eyes on the blocker, who swallowed shivering.
Tsukishima’ smirk widened a bit and, as he passed behind him, he patted lightly Kageyama’s back.
“Let’s crash them.”
“With pleasure.”
A minute hasn’t passed when Hinata smashed the ball over their walls with a loud cheer.
The Captain immediately turned to Yachi and held his thumbs up.
The girl smiled widely and jumped with a fist in the air.
“Another point, Shou!” She yelled proudly, signaling to the other on the benches to cheer louder. Their team needed all the encouragement possible!
“I’m on a roll!” The boy replied excitedly, going back to his position; he winked at Kageyama, who rolled his eyes, but muttered a “Nice kill.”
Tsukishima just nodded in acknowledgment, but that was all Hinata needed to play at his best. They were there with him, he felt invincible.
Yamaguchi chuckled from behind them, ready to receive, and gave the opponents a calm smile, “We’re going to break you.”
Karasuno crushed them, they steadily, mercilessly crushed them. Point by point. Every time they seemed to gain the upper hand, the crows would stand up again and claw their way to the victory.
It had been a scary match, like being circled by a murder of predators, ready to devour their prey. It didn’t matter that now they were cheering loudly, making stupid jokes with a child-like Captain…they’ve seen what Karasuno was on the court. They feared the next face-off.
The boys were changing in the lockers, while Yachi tidied up their benches and collected the scattered water bottles and towels. The first-year manager that was under her protective wing had remained home due to a sudden fever, so she’d been left alone to her duties. Like the old times, after Kiyoko and the other senpais had graduated.
It was nice, from time to time; it made her feel like nothing had changed.
“Hey sweetheart,” a low, purring voice called, and Yachi jumped, letting the bottle fall from her hands. Embarrassed, she glanced at the guy who had approached her. “Do you need help?”
Ah, the middle-blocker who had openly challenged Tsukishima and Kageyama.
“Thank you, but I’m fine,” she replied politely as she fixed a strand of hair behind the ear, trying to hide the nervousness in her voice. She’d grown more confident and calmed down her fervent imagination, but still, she wasn’t very comfortable around strangers, especially tall, flirty guys.
“Are you sure?” He asked with a grin, leaning to pick up the bottle, “I don’t bite, little angel,” he added, stretching it to her.
She stiffened and took it slowly, eyeing carefully his movements.
“Yes, I’m sure,” she replied sterner. His boyfriends had always repeated her to not be intimidated, to not let them see she was afraid. She didn’t have to: guys couldn’t touch her, and they would come to her aid as soon as they could.
He blinked, sensing the change in her tone, but soon smiled again, taking another step forward.
“So, how’s being the manager?” he asked friendly, leaning a bit into her personal space.
Fantastic, a stubborn one. At least he wasn’t being vulgar, menacing or intrusive. She could tell, he wasn’t a bad guy, just an insistent flirt. Yet, she’d have preferred to be left alone. Even because she was taken.
“Fine,” she replied gently, with a stiff smile, “I love my team.”
He didn’t hear, of faked not to, the polite coldness in her voice, and his smile widened.
“Ah, yeah, they’re good! You know we-”
“YACHI!”
Thank goodness.
Yachi relaxed immediately, melting in a real, fond smile, as Hinata passed the guy and jumped onto her.
“We’ve won!” he repeated hugging her tightly, “We’ve won!”
“I know Shou, I was there!” she chuckled, squeezing him back.
Still high on adrenaline, he laughed and picked her up from the waist, spinning her around in circles. He’d started doing that as soon as he’d grown taller than her.
“S-S-SHOU!” She shrilled, trying to calm him down.
“HINATA!”
Under the confused stare of the middle-blocker, the freckled guy, the one with the kind smile able to freeze hell, rushed to them and took away the girl by force.
“She’s going to throw up again!” He scolded the other boy, who stopped horrified, as he put down Yachi and fretted over her to make sure she was okay.
“Shit, sorry Yachi! I was just too happy!”
“Are you okay?” Yamaguchi asked, combing her hair and pulling up her chin to check her face.
“Don’t worry, Tadashi,” she replied sweetly, gesturing to Hinata to relax, “He spun me only a little, I’m fine.”
“See?” Hinata gloated at Yamaguchi, who rolled his eyes.
“Yes, yes, she’s fine,” he flicked softy his forehead, “But please, try to remember she gets nauseous when you do it.” Momguchi never wavered.
Hinata pouted, but nodded, “Yessir.”
Satisfied, Yamaguchi left a butterfly kiss both on Yachi’s and Hinata’s forehead, who smiled dreamily, giggling.
Only at that moment, they seemed to notice the guy from the other team was still there.
“Uh?” Hinata tilted his head as he interlaced his fingers with Yachi’s, “Sorry, were you two having a conversation?”
Ah, innocent, sweet Hinata.
“About what, exactly?” Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms, staring at the boy with an amiable smile as he waited for an answer.
The guy swallowed, a bad feeling creeping up his back.
Before Yachi, sensing the tension, could intervene, a cold voice came from behind.
“He was just praising our team, I bet,” Tsukishima smirked, looking down at him with a feral light in his golden eyes. Next to him, Kageyama was scowling darkly, clearly unnerved that the guy’d had the guts to go for Yachi after the crushing defeat.
However, Tsukishima didn’t want to start a fight with him, he wasn’t the type; he preferred to torture coldly and slyly his opponents.
Under his glare, the blond walked to Yachi and bent enough to leave a chaste kiss on her lips.
“Thank you for the cheering,” he muttered softly, gazing satisfied at her cheeks, red like strawberries. And his girlfriend had that way of looking up at him, with glassy eyes and a wishful, hidden fire in her eyes as she bit her bottom lips, that drove him crazy.
However, Tsukishima wasn’t one for excessive pda if it wasn’t necessary, so he restrained himself and just ruffled Hinata’s hair and patted Yamuguchi’s head, before sneaking an arm around his waist.
Kageyama smirked at the dumbstruck expression on the guy’s face and happily reached his partners; following Tsukishima’s example, he patted the heads of the three and then wrapped a protective arm around Yachi’ shoulders.
The girl, at this point, had her head in cloud nine.
“Can we go?” the raven asked, absentmindedly resting his chin over the girl’s head. Hinata used that moment to lean his head against his partner’s arm.
“The others are already on the bus, I’m afraid they’ll break something else during our absence,” Tsukishima sighed, resting his elbow on Hinata’s shoulder.
“They’re too tired, they’re probably already sleeping,” Yamaguchi laughed, tucked by his side, “But yes, we can go. We’re done, right?” he added, looking at the forgotten guy.
He swallowed dryly, under three sets of glares, one innocent stare, and an embarrassed one.
The blondie was an angel, but she wasn’t worth fighting Hell’s demons.
He stretched a smile and waved, “Yes, I was just complimenting your team. Good match,” he managed to say, taking a step back.
The taller boys had to hide a scoff.
“Ah, thank you!” Hinata smiled, shining, to him, “Let’s play again another time!”
“Yeah, it’d be a pleasure, Yamaguchi insisted sweetly, and the boy nodded.
On his dead body.
“Have a nice trip back…” he stuttered, before turning on the heels and rushing away.
Hinata tilted his head, perplexed.
“Wow, he probably had to go to the bathroom.”
Yachi sighed, giving him a fond glance.
“Sure Shou,” Yamaguchi whistled, “Sure.”
Tsukishima just shrugged his shoulders and started dragging all his lovers outside, moving like one creature.
“Well, who cares,” Hinata bounced between the blondes, “Pizza and movie tonight?”
“We had it yesterday, dumbass!”
“We’ve to celebrate, Kags!”
“I could prepare something…”
“YES PLEASE! Tadashi, your cooking is the best!”
“I agree.”
“I second that.”
“Thank you, Tadashi! I’ll help you too!”
Yeah, they’ve come a long way.

This was just great. They were in a trial with the damned Huntress at Coldwind Farm. Nothing against the location–aside from the fact it was within the Entity’s realm–but that bulky rabbit woman was terrifying for Meg to deal with. You can be the fastest athlete in the world and still struggle due to the Huntress’ immense range. The nice thing about this place was that the corn helped hide yourself from that axe-tossing banshee. The troubling part was that the majority of the place was outdoors, free of objects that could block an axe from getting lodged into your back. The one thing Meg was grateful for was that the trial seemed to be going relatively well this time. With Kate, David, Detective Tapp, and herself in this match of horrors, the athlete felt relatively good about their chances of survival. David was just as bold as Meg was, but with a dash of problematic aggression. He’d work as a great distraction with Tapp as his back up, considering how well he does under pressure of nearby killers. That left Meg and Kate to make their rounds about the farm and focus on generators. They started off on their own to cover more ground, but as she approached the final generator within the shambled house, Meg found that Kate was already on the top floor balcony, elbow’s deep in the contraption. After a soft greeting, the freckled girl knelt beside the songbird and worked at the generator without delay. Once they get this, they’re as good as golden. Glancing over her shoulder, Meg couldn’t suppress the smile that found her lips as she watched Kate’s dutiful work in progress. She really was a sight even with dirt and oil smudged on her body. They had to be focused in trials, but that was a lot easier said than done when Meg was alongside Kate. No, she had to stay resolute until the end. Shaking her eyes free from the other woman, she narrowed her sights on the whirring cogs and chains within the generator. One false move and the Huntress will know exactly where they were. That’s when the final generator blared triumphantly overhead, alerting everyone that the gates were sufficiently supplied power to open. That was their ticket to freedom. With a heavy sigh of relief, Meg looked over at Kate and grinned. She opened her mouth to say something cocky with mildly flirty undertones, but as soon as she heard that haunting melody enter the house, she fell silent. Shit, shit, shit! Reaching over for Kate’s hand and tugging her with swiftly, Meg found the nearest locker and tossed the songbird within. Maybe she could distract the Huntress and lead her away while Kate waits it out. That would work perfectly. At least, it would have if her previous songbird didn’t yank her within the locker with her. Meg yelped softly as they were pressed tight against each other once those doors swung shut. Glancing up at Kate, Meg realized then that she had no intentions of letting the athlete put her life on the line for her own sake. Still, hiding two people in a single locker was bold, even by Meg’s standards.”Stop squirmin’!” The hushed whisper urged Meg, a request she really wanted to fulfill.A simple request in theory, really, but Meg wasn’t sure what Kate was expecting. Here they were, bodies pressing hard against each other while within the confines of a locker that clearly wasn’t meant to hold two bodies. Really, they weren’t meant to hold any bodies, but you had to do whatever it takes to survive, eh? Still, being this close to Kate left Meg feeling dizzy. If she was distracted by Kate’s natural charm before, being this close to the woman now was intoxicating and dangerous. If not for that incessant humming growing louder, Meg might have contemplated making a remark about rubbing against each other, but it’d be in poor taste. That, and they’d both be found out by the axe-wielding woman for sure.Once the heavy footsteps landed on the top floor, Meg watched through the slits of the locker as the Huntress drew closer. This plan might really fall flat on them. Then, a loud alarm started to echo not far from their location. That must have been David and Tapp getting the nearest gate. As if fueled with rage at this sound, the Huntress immediately withdrew herself and sprinted down the staircase. She must have assumed they were all at the gates already. After all, it’d be insanely stupid for any of the survivors to linger at the final generator. So stupid that it worked.“Sweet lord,” Meg gasped out, taking that desperate breath she never knew she was holding in. “I think you’re downright mad for dragging me in here with you, Kate. What would have happened if she found us? I could have distracted her so that you–” She then grew silent as she noticed Kate’s disapproving scowl. Right. Meg knew better than to think Kate would have been alright with such a plan. The athlete was used to making foolish choices for the sake of others. After all, she was the fastest one here. She had the best odds of losing a pursuing killer. It was a good plan in theory, but she forgot just how stubborn Kate could be as well. Just another trait that left Meg swooning after the sweet songbird.Timidly, Meg reached over and wrapped her left hand within Kate’s right. A quiet push of the locker door and a silent step outside of the metal box allowed them the liberty to breathe in relief. In the distance, Meg could distinctly see David’s cocksure stance by the exit door, dipping and swerving all about as the Huntress attempted to snatch him up. Does David not have a fear of death any longer? Maybe he never had one, considering all the stories she’s heard from him about his previous life. With a sigh, Meg offered a hopeful smirk toward Kate and squeezed her hand tightly.“C’mon, Kate. Let’s make a run for the other exit door while David and Tapp keep her preoccupied here. We should be safe to run out the backdoor.” Meg remarked while leading them down the stairs swiftly but silently. They crossed the cornfields and rounded behind a couple pallets, just in case the Huntress spotted them darting away. As soon as they discovered the second door–thankfully on the opposite corner of the farm–Meg went to work by flipping the heavy power switch. Waiting for their own alarm to ring out, the athlete timidly glanced over to Kate. There was a sheepish grin on her face with a light blossom color dusting her freckled cheeks. “Thanks…for keeping me safe with you, Kate.”
