Smile at the blue screen
Theme is like programmer`s error or make a smile and do programming. Positive theme. It is with blue screen. And, it is running little numbers 0 and 1. In a random way at the full screen. Just like, it is something like binary code.
Random numbers. And, around them, yellow circle is running. With a smile and with eyes, little eyes. A funny face. With a funny little music. Like 8 bit. Or 16 bit or Ms Dos little music from funny arcade game. As, something like, maybe, it was in Commandeer Keen or Cosmo Cosmic. Blue screen with 0 and 1. And, also, it is little like Norton Commander or Volkov Commander. Do programming - it is fun!
Blue screen. And, some error in code. And, such a little smile. I remember, it was April 2023. And, it was, already, a spring. Sky is becoming bright and light. It is starts to be, again, so blue and joyful. And, after programming, I find out myself at the streets, one a moment it was. And, I look at the sky. And, I was surprised. And, I, almost, to see these - 0 and 1 – and a little smile at the sky!
So, this is a theme, for positive. Visual theme. just a little program. And, it goes with a retro funny little music. And smile. And, with a random way, it shows a numbers pack made out with 0 and 1. At the blue screen. A little program. As short clip. For a fun and joy. And, for a positive. Practice with programming with programming language Qb64. For a good mood. For a free time! Spring theme, early spring theme. Maybe, even like a first of April. A day of a fool. Funny celebration event!
So, except videogames, it is new idea to do programming of these visual themes. Intros. Something like, programmable intros. Intros. So, new theme opens in terms of practice programming with Qb64. And, to find something new. Videogames – for some moment - it was understanding – that programming videogames, it is very long time duration process. And, maybe, hard. And to try something new. To expand theme. And to try something funny.
And, still in theme of programming. And with a funny way too. By the interest. And, fast way. And, to try what else it can be. Visual theme. Backgrounds. Music. How to change a background. How to play music. Or to try something else. To do intros – it is so funny. And, with a simple form. It is faster, than a videogame. As, it seems, for me. And, it is, also, interesting!
Simple visual theme. With a form of a program. And, also, it is about a theme - relaxing from programming. And with programming. Not a matrix, that was a movie. And, another way. Blue screen as a sky. And, there, it is flying a smile. Little smile! Make little smile! Make a little smile! And, you need to smile too! And, also, it is some code there. Unexplained, of course. Some stream with 0 and 1.
And, retro! Retro type blue screens as with computers from 90s. So, it is a show of a file in a blue screen. And, it is, even, possible to write a text. So, it was lots of things to do with that blue screen.
And, also, it is one thing, I do not say - it is, also, a positive. And, positive, positive moving forward! Smile! Yellow circle! Which is smiling to you! Not a Pacman, of course. But, a yellow circle, which makes a smile to you. And moves. A little.
Make a little smile! Little smile! Make a smile!

i feel like as a programmer i should be allowed to virtually enter my programs and fix them by physical force
#a novice programmer☝ but a programmer nonetheless#hm. this evokes a pleasant imagery actually#i would like to walk among the directories as though it is a strawberry field full of the bushes that represent my files#and i would like to spot the rotten ones and pluck them out so they pester my beautiful field no more#and i would like to lay down in the sun and talk to my program and tell it i love it so much but its bugs are trying to eat me#and that i need it to help me stop that so we can live with each other#but it refuses to listen to my pleas and i metaphorically chase after it day by day hoping to get across our need for cooperation#and one day. one day there will be NoReverseMatch error no more#🌙rambling#🌙computerposting

Having grand narrative dreams is all fun and games until you wake up and can barely remember them anymore
#like what do you mean i just had a dream about an time travel hansry story filled with political intruige and angst#that had a happy ending in a modern college au for them and i can barely remember 3 scenes#and one of them is the fact that henry gets sick from eating custard pie... why is that important??? what even is custard pie????#so anyways in the end og Hans went with modern time traveler Henry to the future#and they lived in my student apartment and henry was teaching hans austrian dialect (bc modern henry went to austria to study)#i dont remember what henry was studying but Hans enrolled into the wine related bachelor programm#and i was also there and so was my cat and that was the point where i woke myself up#bc i was like ' wait this doesn't make sense why am i here? do we all live in the same apartment??? thats impossible.#oh wait right this is my dream i can do whatever i want. they live in the apartment above me.' and thats when i woke up#literally woke myself up bc my dream story had continuity errors so i had to start lucid dreaming to fix them smh#wish i could remember more about the political intruige portion of my dream though.#the custard pie was somehow important to that part. i cannot for the love of god remember why but it was integral to some plot.

What is with those random accounts like [insert a few random words here]-blog just popping up flooded with machine fabricated images. Are they the new spam bots, because if so they've finally found a spam bot more annoying than the p[]rn ones: silicon valley type machine learning bros...
#vena vents#not art#nice shitty generated image of a house and fake animals bro I hope your programmer trips face first onto legos covered in feral cat feces#like if you see a blog with that format and clearly obviously not a person just that format check their posts at least#I'm still mad about those silicon valley fuckheads making the association of ai so shitty and greedy and inherently parasitic#years ago it was associated with science and medicine and training trial and error behaviors with characters in programs#like teaching a little 3d model guy to walk and all that#now it just feels insidious and soulless for spineless little baby men who don't have the balls to try to be creative and inevitably fail#at it sometimes and for corporations who don't value humans

ok, so programming wise my read from my last sao post could still work:
look at these two statements
for the harassment code trigger
(yourGender === "male" AND otherGender !== "male") OR (yourGender === "female" AND otherGender !== "female")
2. checking if two players can get married
yourGender !== otherGender
Now if let's say the system couldn't properly detect yourGender and it would be either 'undefined' or NULL
then for you the first statement would be false, but for the second party it would be true if their yourGender value is either 'male' or 'female'
but at the same time the second statement would be true for you if the other persons 'otherGender' is set "correctly"
so with that thinking my read of "the system could not correctly determine kirito's gender" and "the system determines that Asuna and Kirito can get married" would both be true
#eve-sao-thoughts#I am starting to think that Kayaba's game of death might not be programmed that well#then again this the exact error a cishet programmer would make

Lazy story idea today, but what about a.... Idk how to describe this. A more lower level basic level robot falling in love with a human, so it keeps seeking to upgrade itself over and over until it has the kind of body that is the closest to that of a human.
#rambles#story ideas#hmmm#depending on which way you take this it can be creepy but it can also be a cute story#i rather like this idea#thinking about this more what if it started off with lower level processing too but like....#due to an error in its code it develops a curiosity for the human#this error creates the ability for desire#i just want it to start off very robotic at first#inputs and outputs. logic#like it inputs that it does not have the fire to properly process the collected data#so it finds a way to upgrade it's processing power#probably the story would be that the human's father is a programmer or some kind of robot engineer#this specific robot is a special robot because it's the only one that has this special program built into it#it was a small project on the father's part#i'd say 'but he died before he could complete it' but that's too cliche#maybe the project ended up in a dead end so he abandoned it not realizing that he actually succeeded#idk

banging my head against a function that looked only slightly broken, but was actually deeply broken and just by coincidence had values that mostly turned out OK

UnitedHealthcare, the largest health insurance company in the US, is allegedly using a deeply flawed AI algorithm to override doctors' judgments and wrongfully deny critical health coverage to elderly patients. This has resulted in patients being kicked out of rehabilitation programs and care facilities far too early, forcing them to drain their life savings to obtain needed care that should be covered under their government-funded Medicare Advantage Plan.
It's not just flawed, it's flawed in UnitedHealthcare's favor.
That's not a flaw... that's fraud.
#they did it to muddy the waters of legality. they kniw they can claim it was an ~honest mistake~ because ~a machine did it not a human~#same reason why self driving cars have been cautioned against without having the legal platform figured out#like for the cars case... in the event of an accident involving 2 self-driving cars... who is at fault?#the insurance will want to know...#is it the drivers who took the risk knowing the slight chance of error whicu would require human intervention?#is it the car manufacturers who assembled a vehicle with faulty sensors or wiring?#is it the car company itself for tricking consumers into thinking the vehicles were safer than they really are?#we can't take a computer to court to hold accountable. that's why they set it to task to commit insurance fraud.#who will they try to point fingers at? the engineers and programmers who made it? the doctors who should magically know how to override?#the patients for not appealing the decision/bringing it to their attentions?#im not saying those folks are at fault im saying that's what i anticipate this company will say to poke holes in the prosecutor argument

Animation. Intro. Blue screen. Random numbers. Something like, it is code out of numbers - zeroes and ones. And smile. So yellow smile. So funny little face looks at you and makes a smile.
This is program-intro. Launch and watch. When you will be bored – than close program.
Animation. Random text with zeroes and ones. And smile with funny music. Funny little music included.
Blue screen as it was in program Norton Commander, in this program, you can write a text, edit file. Or programmer`s error. Code. Stream of data. And someplace - it has an error. Theme with a smile. With a good mood. Make a smile! A little smile! Programming – it is so funny! Make a little smile!
So, here before your eyes, it is little smile, it moves with random way.

I'm a big fan of wizards-as-programmers, but I think it's so much better when you lean into programming tropes.
A spell the wizard uses to light the group's campfire has an error somewhere in its depths, and sometimes it doesn't work at all. The wizard spends a lot of his time trying to track down the exact conditions that cause the failure.
The wizard is attempting to create a new spell that marries two older spells together, but while they were both written within the context of Zephyrus the Starweaver's foundational work, they each used a slightly different version, and untangling the collisions make a short project take months of work.
The wizard has grown too comfortable reusing old spells, and in particular, his teleportation spell keeps finding its components rearranged and remixed, its parts copied into a dozen different places in the spellbook. This is overall not actually a problem per se, but the party's rogue grows a bit concerned when the wizard's "drying spell" seems to just be a special case of teleportation where you teleport five feet to the left and leave the wetness behind.
A wizard is constantly fiddling with his spells, making minor tweaks and changes, getting them easier to cast, with better effects, adding bells and whistles. The "shelter for the night" spell includes a tea kettle that brings itself to a boil at dawn, which the wizard is inordinately pleased with. He reports on efficiency improvements to the indifference of anyone listening.
A different wizard immediately forgets all details of his spells after he's written them. He could not begin to tell you how any of it works, at least not without sitting down for a few hours or days to figure out how he set things up. The point is that it works, and once it does, the wizard can safely stop thinking about it.
Wizards enjoy each other's company, but you must be circumspect about spellwork. Having another wizard look through your spellbook makes you aware of every minor flaw, and you might not be able to answer questions about why a spell was written in a certain way, if you remember at all.
Wizards all have their own preferences as far as which scripts they write in, the formatting of their spellbook, its dimensions and material quality, and of course which famous wizards they've taken the most foundational knowledge from. The enlightened view is that all approaches have their strengths and weaknesses, but this has never stopped anyone from getting into a protracted argument.
Sometimes a wizard will sit down with an ancient tome attempting to find answers to a complicated problem, and finally find someone from across time who was trying to do the same thing, only for the final note to be "nevermind, fixed it".
