Just read in your post about programming books that you read. Can you please recommend some? Also what is the content about? Do they have tips and tricks, or history of many programmers or other?

In terms of programming books, I read ones specific to the language I am learning - so the book are literally about "Oh you want to learn [insert programming lanuage]? Here's an entire book about the language" like beginner to "master" books.

I just find some random PDF ones online, which you can find yourself by googling "[insert programming language] programming books PDF" and a bunch will show up. I don't have or buy physical books.

I can't really 'recommend' per say because I read literally any book in the language + the books are about a range of programming languages but safe bet is the 'For Dummies' programming books and start from there!

I also have books I kept from when Z-Library was still up so I go back and read them. But yeah I don't know what language your working with so again I don't know what to recommend but I recently have been reading Lua, JavaScript and C# programming books.

no I don’t actually just casually sit in the darkness all the time, it’s for the mood lighting pic lol

Not to get emotional about my big dumb bird friends but, I love my big dumb bird friends.

If you watch Sunwings in the late afternoon, they will keep their wings outstretched to catch the last sunrays on their solar panels. Then as soon as the sun sets, they panic. They'll frantically flap up towards the west, squawking and flailing, before landing and booting up their shields - they'll repeat this pattern over and over again until dawn. But why raise their shields when there is no active threat? My theory is, they're scared of the dark. Their source of energy and light is gone and their tiny bird brains don't know it'll come back again because they aren't programmed to know about "morning". So they boot up their glowing shields, wasting their power, so they have some light against the dark.

Then the sun rises in the opposite direction and they go "...OH." and turn around to sunbath and recharge again.

So dumb, I love them.

y'all remember when book fairs used to have those "banned books" display sections that advertised books based on that fact that they had been banned in schools in the past and everyone went "haha wow, it's crazy that they banned books like this! what a wacky thing to do!" haha........ yeah....... who would even do that......

“Scooped quite low, isn’t it?” he said, aware of his fingers on the base of her spine. “Good job I didn’t put it on backwards!” she said and a silence followed while both of them thought oh god, oh god, oh god.

I like to imagine there’s at least one huge nerd at kamiyama in their third year and they’re always studying to get the best grades like really hitting the books & taking classes outside of school but they continually get the second highest scores and they’re seething with rage about it because the only person outdoing them academically is that purple fuck who never pays attention in class, is put in detention every week for blowing shit up and brings his whimsical ass gadgets to school. & he doesn’t even care about his status as the most academically talented kid in the grade. They’re planning on going into medical school or some other STEM field and he’s going into the arts.

Requirements:

Reviews must be at least 100 words long must and engage with the actual content of the work being reviewed.

Reviews must be left within 6 months of claiming a title, or you will be removed from the program.

What isn’t Required:

That the reviews be positive. Reviews are for readers. We require that reviews be honest to your own experience of the work, not that they be glowing.

That you post the reviews to social media. Doing so is definitely a bonus, but you don’t have to.

That you associate yourself publicly with the review-leaving (beyond using a valid Goodreads and/or Storygraph account). As in, you don’t have to say, “I, (your name here), reviewed this book” or link your book website accounts with your existing social media presence or anything like that, nor do we request any demographic information beyond confirmation of your age.

That you purchase anything. Absolutely no purchase necessary!
