Which, of course, you didn’t seem to mind since the two of you are both book addicts. I know it wasn’t widely liked but I consider Project Scard to be comedic genius. Imagine if in K Project Kuroh spent the entire first season trying to kill Shiro for being the Colourless King and then they found out Kuroh was actually the Colourless King the whole time and didn’t remember it. as of now this is the anime i've already dropped for the season! i have a 3-episode rule where, if after 3 episodes, the anime hasn't caught my attention i'll drop it to save myself time. i'd rather not force myself to watch something i know i won't enjoy! sometimes i do drop them sooner if it's that bad

honestly.......i don't have much to say here. while i initially found the premis interesting, the speed at which the main characters are suddenly girlfriends was uh? quick that's for sure! and while i understand it's meant to be humorous, i didn't really find anything funny about the school nurse constantly stripping for no reason in the middle of school hours and constantly hitting the main character. blood fetish was the main point of humor in this story, and i can tolerate a bit of ecchi in anime, but this really hit all the wrong notes for me. instead of laughing i just sat there wondering why i still had the tab open

i wanted so desperately to like this one! i've enjoyed anime by GoHands before, but like i mentioned in a post before, this was overkill. its like they didn't know when to stop. usually we complain about under done animation and can nitpick where improvement could have happened. here its the opposite, there's too much going on. there's so many textures, reflections, and moving pieces with very little contrast between the foreground and background, making it almost impossible to focus on what's happening. in gifsets this anime will look wonderful, but when you watch a full scene you realize there's no anchor points for your eye to settle on. this is what overachieving and still failing looks like

i genuinely don't even know what this is about, i couldn't get past 5min because for some reason only the protag looks 3D when no one else does and it's not even good 3D. as of writing this the anime literally has a 2.24/10 on My Anime List and only 3 episodes have aired so far. did they even have a budget when they made this?

Hortensia Saga

i don't really have anything negative to say about this one, its a pretty standard medieval fantasy anime, but thats what put me off wanting to continue it. there's a lack of originality, there's nothing in the first few episodes that makes me want to root for or support a specific character. plus the action sequences were kinda lackluster. basically it's boring; unless this is your favorite type of story and you're interested in something that sticks to tropes pretty closely, or you're a fan of the game it's based on, you're going to be snoring really quickly

12min in and i was rolling my eyes so hard it started to hurt. what seems like a story about a gamer who makes friends and gains a girlfriend really just boils down to, well. pretentious gamer boy meets a pretentious gamer girl and she.....teaches him how to be a normie and blend in with the rest of society by dressing nicer? i guess? this could have been decent if it was played off in a comedic way, but instead it's handled really seriously and as a result i couldn't take it seriously at all. the more the characters monologued about how unfair and difficult life is because they look slightly different or had different interests than most people, the further they dug a sad and pathetic pitty hole to lie in. this feels like a horrible message to send to people who feel somewhat isolated from their peers and decide to blame it on these small incongruities instead of practicing some interspection, or seeking professional help if their problems are that severe

"Yamato?" you peeked into your boyfriend's room before fully entering it after seeing him sitting on his bed, his jacket over his back, bandage around his chest. He looked up at you with a smile "Hey-" "Got into a fight with those Dusk soldiers again?" you asked.

You sat down beside him and then took his jacket away from his back, putting it down on the other side of the bed. He wasn't surprised, he knew what thay meant.

"Alright alright. Come here." he extended his arms out for you. Most of times you would just throw yourself to him, but for now — you gently wrapped your arms around him and let him brought you down to the bed then leaned your head against his shoulder.

He was the understanding type, he might be bad at house chores but at least he knew how to please you and what was the best for you.

Along with that, he spotted a trail of red rose petals when he walked inside. A set of candles were placed on the counter and by the shelves. Opinion on Project SCARD : Scar on The Praeter

or to be more precise, my opinion and comparison of project scard and k project (since they’re from the same studio)

i decided to take out some of my free time to watch this new anime made by gohands, the studio who made the best anime in my entire life, which is k project (k missing kings, k return of kings, k 7 stories) and i decided to take a look into the anime. honestly speaking it would be too early for me to say anything since this is just the first episode.. but well let’s see later on. my opinions might change depending on the rest of the episodes.

based on what i read, i heard that gohands’ other projects are not doing that well, w’z and handshakers has petty storyline and the animation is just too much. so i did not put any hope towards this new anime to be as good as k project. but let’s take a look together.

reminder : i will be comparing project scard a lot to k project, since it is an anime that got me engaged with gohands and i also believe that it is gohands’ best work so far. sooo if you dont feel comfortable with that idea, u can stop reading

• animation

i cannot say anything on this one since gohands had lots of downfall after k series (w’z and handshakers) but it’s definitely true and people are not lying when they said this. in the first episode, u will be given a lot of scenery footages. there are too many realistic backgrounds and cgi for scard project. the design of the characters do not match well with the background. it feels really weird since they have an overly realistic background but flashy anime character with poppy and sparkling eyes (i still hate gohands’ new eyes design, they just got bigger and got really weird. why cant they use the old ones like k project?)

• storyline

storyline wise, i think it is pretty decent. they have a great cliffhanger at the end of the first episode, so i was quite curious to see what will happen in the next episode. however, if we compare this to k project first episode, i think k project will definitely win for sure. u will get shocked if u also saw the trailer of project scard because in the first episode.. they killed one of the character already, like a very important character (i expected gohands to kill off some of the characters like what they did to mikoto and totsuka in k project, BUT I DID NOT EXPECT IT TO BE THIS SOON, and moreover IN THE FIRST EPISODE) 🙂

it’s hard to predict what will happen in the upcoming episodes since they did not lay out the problem and the stories in the series yet. the first episode was focused more on the background of the place. what is the meaning of scard and many more. there are lots of characters and ikemen here just like k project. and tbh there are lots of organizations that you can take a look at. its kinda similar like k project (scepter 4, homra, jungle), like the story is based of some organizations

conclusion : decent and quite intriguing storyline for the first episode. the animation sucks and i feel like they can lower down their cgi.. (gohands can be a top tier studio if they decided to stick with their old animation style like what they did in k project. ugh. i am so sad) they got me shooketh in the first episode but lets see later on how will they progress.
