So the colourful sky is actually a whole bunch of volumetric cloud spheres at different distances so that they don't intersect with radial lights to make'm pop.

The actual sky behind it is pretty much just a black one with red streaks.

The material itself is one of the existing Bryce preset clouds but with a rainbow texture mapped over it.

I'm extremely happy with the end result but it took forever to do, the projectfile has a large chance of crashing and it takes forever to render. Would not recommend.

A lot of network environments will do the share drive thing for files other people are supposed to be able to get to. For that I highly endorse the S:\Team1\Projects\Project35\ProjectFiles\Sheet2.proj approach, with appropriate regular back ups. At that point it doesn't matter what everyone does individually, as long as they save things back up after working on them.

We do a lot of work with a program that doesn't play nice with active files over the network, so we make everyone do general work in a local C:\Work\ folder, in case they forget to copy files back up at the end of the day and then get hit by a bus. That way we can get to their stuff without dealing with IT.

Duckduckgo was being unhelpful so I'm asking you, the only tech person that i really know of this question, I hope you don't mind. Do my files in "Documents" "Videos" "Downloads", etc. get saved in an image backup or should I do another backup solution? I know little about backups despite otherwise being very tech fluent. Yes, those will get saved in an image backup - an image should be a perfect, identical snapshot of your computer at the moment it was taken. You may not get temp files, but you should have every permanently saved file exactly where you saved it on your computer.

I do recommend doing a file backup separate from an image backup, but I do this manually and I pretty much refuse to let my computer save things to folders like documents and downloads so I generally just do this by copying the contents of my desktop to a folder on my backup drive.
