Hey, what is the most common cat color? Is there a particularly rare color? What are some cool statistics/facts about cat colors?

the most common cat color would be black, including black solids and black tabbies! there's a good amount of rare colors and i imagine some people would disagree with me about what is rare, but here's a few:

chocolate and cinnamon (solids)

lilac and fawn (dilute chocolate and cinnamon, solids)

silver smoke, shaded and tipped (different presentations of the inhibitor/silver restriction gene)

golden (another variation on the inhibitor gene)

amber (found in norwegian forest cats)

phoenix mutation

"red on blue" tabby and "pseudo-cinnamon" (i've actually seen some misinformation popping up about these guys recently >_>. a cool-tinted red cat is not necessarily one of these guys!!)

What are y'all's favorite alternatives to the term "medicine cat"? In general discussion I tend to default to medic/meddie just for the sake of being understood but I generally prefer terms that imply divination as one of their main duties. To that effect the ones I have most used are seer, oracle, and augur.

Cayer x Redina from The Demon Prince Goes to the Academy

A win for Cayer x Redina is a win for fucked up toxic ships of guilt and misunderstandings everywhere

Redina has No Casting which lets her use magic instantly (which made her think she was a dragon at one point lol) but a limited Mana Pool while Cayer has a giant Mana Pool that he can’t properly use. During the war against creatures from the Gate Incident, Cayer would refill the Ark Crystal that would let Redina save others. However, recharging it multiple times during a battle required more mana he could manage, meaning Redina would be the one watching people she couldn’t save die & choosing who to spend mana on to save.

Their relationship became troubled as Redina, who didn’t know just how much of a toll charging the Ark Crystal took on Cayer, became cruel and upset until she learned that Cayer was using part of his lifespan to help refill the crystal when he was out of mana. She was guilt-ridden and apologetic, but Cayer refused to stop until he fell into a coma for two years.

When he awoke from his coma after the war, Redina was the one to take care of him, seemingly set to stay with him in perpetuity.

Submission: I just think they'd be neat together, being that they're two of the most misunderstood characters who sufferred at the hands of people they loved so deeply yet they still put the greater good over themselves and save people at the cost of their lives... also they would so bond over their inventions and i think wwx can take cwn out of his reserved shell and make him yap about his inventions and future ideas. They'd make everything better, save the common people with their combined genius! And the combination of cwn not liking swordflights and wwx loving to show off his swordflying skills? wwx will definitely take the job to ferry him places and make him start liking the journey. They're both very bad with colder temperatures too and have both died and have themselves brought back to life(albeit in different ways) once!

It's an unlikely connection but one that is fascinating to consider. They both lived their life as a lie, for dramatically different reasons, and wore opposite masks to face the world with. Alver pretending to be the 'perfect prince' and (og) Cale pretending to be the 'worst trash'. Alver in order to overcome the way his family oppressed him and (og) Cale in order to protect his family. Their similar yet contradicting methods of handling conflict would make their interactions with one another all the more fascinating. Also, Alver is a squirrel and (og) Cale is a dog, let him bark at that squirrel lol.

Rowan is an Archbishop of the Towan/Tu’an Order who rose to her station due to the mass deaths caused by the Gate Incident, which she saw first-hand as the captured (now Demon King) Reinhardt tried to stop.

Both Olivia and Rowan became disillusioned with their religion and the Knights Templar and are unafraid to torture and murder, the latter originally in charge of torturing and eliminating heretics in the Capital refugee camps until she faked her death. I simply think these messed up semi-ex-religious women who pursue their own morality after escaping a constricting and hypocritical institute should kiss.
