Hi! I just saw that requests are open, yeah!! I'd like to request an Alastor x fem!Reader where Vox has a crush on her so he sends her a set of different tea flavor as a gift. The problem is that these contain a drug that inhibits the person (thanks, Valentino). Basically, his plan was to wait for her to drink the tea and then show up at the hotel and seduce her so he could have her for himself (my boy thinks she loves him, lol). The problem is that she had graciously offered the tea to Alastor, who drinks it. Vox asks her if she enjoyed the tea she lies saying it was delicious so he immediately shows up at the hotel but ends up finding Alastor who is being super affectionate with her, revealing his true feelings for her. Eventually Alastor attacks Vox as soon as he sees him forcing the other to flee. Fluff and comedy, basically. xD
Alastor x Fem! Reader x Vox | Tea Time Troubles
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings ⚠️:  Cussing, drugs, controlling and manipulative Vox, out of character Alastor.
"I dunno 'bout this Voxxy" Valentino said, handing him a baggie of the drug, a weak aphrodisiac lining the walls of the bag.
"Don't worry about me Valentino, I'll be fine" Vox reassured him, holding the bag up to his screened face. He smirked deviously as he put his hands behind his back.
"But you tell me all the time 'bout 'public image' and all that shit." Valentino retorted, crossing his lower arms against his stomach.
"Don't you worry your pretty little face about it Honey" Vox sneered, rubbing his cheek in a falsely affectionate way. "Vox is a big boy and can handle himself. I just gotta put this into some tea bags. (Y/n) WILL be MINE."
"Ugh" The moth groaned, taking a puff of his cigar,"She's not even worth it. She hangs out with radio, fossil trash. If she was good shed know who to choose. Besides, I'm better than she is, right?"
"You're wrong." Vox said, his left eye radiating hypnotizing waves out of anger,"(Y/n) is perfect. She's everything, and she will be mine."
Vox's demonic laughter could be heard across the building, sending chills down anyone who heard it's spine.
--------
"Honey!!" (Y/n) exclaimed, holding up the box of tea that arrived at their house,"Your tea shipment came!"
Alastor, who was reading the paper at the kitchen table, looked over to see his dear (Y/n) carrying two large cardboard boxes.
He teleported over, making his shadows place them atop of the counter. His keen eyes narrowed at the second box, seemingly almost identical to the first one.
"How peculiar!" Alastor said, tapping his cane on the second box, almost poking it as if it was a foreign object.
"What's peculiar about it?" The fellow deer demon asked, peering over at the box her partner was so intrigued by.
"I did not order two shipments of tea from the catalogue this month!" He replied, his smile tightening in irritation. Could someone be trying to plant something in this hotel? Trying to hurt any of his friends, his beloved, or him?
"Maybe it's a promo box?" (Y/n) suggested,"I mean, you are a loyal customer of theirs. Maybe they want you to try a new product, I hear that's the new rage."
"Ah" Alastor replied, walking closer to the counter to rip open the second box to be met with a letter and a large box of tea.
"Thank you for your loyalty Mr. Alastor. We're reaching out to our most loyal customers to give this Promo box to! We're asking that you try our newest flavor, a (your favorite flavor) but with a twist! Despite the erratic sounds at night in Hell, this tea should help you fall right asleep! If you enjoy it, please promote so on your beloved Radio Show!"
"I was right!" The doe said, looking up at her partner,"They must've given it to you because they know you're famous and can promote their tea! Very smart people, I wanna try one tomorrow!"
"Tomorrow? Why not today my doe?" Alastor said, looking down at his partner.
"My stomach isn't feeling the best. Charlie's cake wasn't fully cooked through, but I didn't want to be rude and not eat it. Especially because no one else was!"
Alastor chuckled, petting her sensitive ears. "Now now (Y/n), you should've listened to me! I know all!"
"Al..." She said, batting her eyes up at him,"Do you mind trying it for me? I wanna know if it's good, but I don't want to throw up in my sleep!"
"Why should I?" He inquired, smirking down at (Y/n). "It seems like this predicament could've been easily avoided my little doe! Hahaha!"
"Please" She softly asked, smiling at him back.
"I suppose I can try one cup of it." He said, sitting down at the table, fully expecting (Y/n) to make him the cup as he finished reading his paper.
She giggled at him and began to start the kettle. Moments like these can't be replaced, a docile and homey moment between the two of them. (Y/n) loved seeing this side of him. The Alastor side of him, not the Radio Demon.
(Y/n) opened the smaller box that was enclosed in the large one, picking out the first tea bag. She smelled the bag, the fumes of blended herbs wafting in her nostrils. It smelled lovely, she would've to drink one alongside Alastor.
But she held back on picking up another bag, knowing its sleeping effects. (Y/n) really didn't want to throw up while in her sleep, and potentially on Alastor, who would be as knocked out as her.
Sighing, she finished preparing the tea, pouring it in Alastor's favorite teacups, the one (Y/n) gifted him on their second anniversary many years ago.
She walked back over to him, placing the teacup on his saucer, putting the sugar cube in as well.
"Thank you dearest" Alastor said, his eyes skimming over the newspaper,"I shall be in our room in a moment, why don't you go ahead and get in your nightwear?"
"Alrighty" (Y/n) replied, patting the back of Alastor's chair. That was something the two of them did, (Y/n) knew when to touch Alastor and when to not. Still wanting to show him affection, she'll pat an object close to him.
Alastor gave her a soft smile before returning his focus to the newspaper.
The doe walked up the stairs in the hotel to their shared room. She got in her fluffy pajamas, completed each and every step to her skincare routine, and crawled into bed with a book.
The silence was only broken by the occasional turn of a page, this was (Y/n)‘s daily quiet time, as Alastor liked to read the paper before turning in for the night.
This normally is for about an hour, but tonight it was a mere 30 minutes as the door busted open.
The doe yelped, her skittish nature causing her to flinch at the sudden jolt of noise. Her partner flittered into the room before crawling on top of her, his eyes droopy from the affect.
“Hi sugar” He said, burying his face in the crook of her neck. His ears were pressed against his head as he affectionately nuzzled (Y/n). Alastor grabbed her waist and flipped her on top of him, allowing him to bring her closer to his body, her chest atop of his.
“Al-Alastor?!” (Y/n) exclaimed, tensing up. What has gotten into him!? He’s not one to ever make such…bold advances.
“Oh my love” He said, a dreamy lilt in his voice,”you’re just perfection incarnate. Such a lovely little fawn you are.”
Blushing heavily, she let him rest himself on her, snuggling contently. It was rather peaceful, she did not know where this sudden chance of behavior came from, but it certainly wasn’t the worst by far.
(Y/n)’s ears perked up hearing a notification sound ding from her phone. She slowly grabbed it to check what it was.
Alastor was not very keen on allowing this sort of technology in the house, especially knowing Vox is over all of it. So they made a compromise, he’d take out the camera and microphone and she could have the phone.
Seeing it was a message from Vox, she opened it.
Vox: “Hey sweetheart, I pulled a few strings and got a shipment of some new tea of (your favorite flavor) that was being tested. How did you like it baby?”
(Y/n): Oh, it was good, thanks!
Vox: Just good? You sure sweet stuff? Wasn’t it so good you could just kiss the lips off of the person who got it for you?
(Y/n) sighed, shutting her phone off and curling up with her lover.
“I think that’s a yes!” Vox said, throwing his hands in the air ceremoniously. He quickly put on his best bow tie, in hopes it would get taken off by fingers other than his, and made his way towards the Hazbin Hotel.
————
Vox searched through each room until he found the one you and Alastor shared.
He scowled at the door, seeing a heart with the initials scribed on it “(Y/i) + A”
Pathetic. He could give you so much more than that. He could give you the most advanced technological sign known to mankind just for some silly initials, not some shitty hard with nearly illegible handwriting.
He opened the door, his signature smirk dropping as he saw Alastor, his arch nemesis (in Vox’s eyes) peppering small little kisses all over (Y/n)‘s face, making her giggle.
“WHAT THE FUCK?!” Vox yelled, his face was blue-screening.
Alastor took one look at the fellow Overlord and let out a long string of laughter, sitting up as he pulled (Y/n) into his lap.
“Vox?! What are you doing here?!”
“YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE THE ONE TO DRINK THE TEA!! AND THEN YOU’D BE MINE!!”
Alastor hooked a arm around (Y/n)‘s waist, looking at his opponent across the room.
“This is my doe, my love, and we all know if she would’ve drank the tea, she would’ve always chosen me.”
Lets just say, the power around the Pride Ring went out after that comment.

Feet on the Ground
loose phic phight fill for @oldfashionedbattlehymn
warnings for: murder attempt, discussion of child death
********
Danny wakes up in a garbage bag.
It isn’t as gross as it sounds. Danny’s the only thing in there, and it’s not like the lack of air is going to kill him; he could rip his way out, but honestly, going intangible is just as effective and twice as easy.
And, of course, once he’s phased his way out of the dumpster behind the gas station, Danny is very, very grateful that he didn’t even try. Everything else in there is….eeugh. He shivers.
Well. It’s got to be early morning now—it’s dark. There’s no other cars on the highway. Even the gas station itself is closed, and the stars have already lost their spark.
Time to head home.
*
Danny wakes up behind the gas station. Again.
…Okay?
The first time, Danny had just assumed he’d fallen asleep somewhere weird while flying around the neighborhood, but a second time is a pattern. It’s definitely not his fault this time either, because there’s no way he would have duct taped his arms and legs together or slapped a gag on his mouth.
That’s kind of. Ominous.
Danny frees himself of the garbage bag first— and thank goodness he doesn’t have to breathe— he floats himself out of the bag and the dumpster, which had…thankfully been given a good scrubbing since last time? There’s some other trash, apparently, but nothing sharp enough to cut through his durable, tape-based bonds. It takes some finagling and some eye lasers for Danny to finally get his arms free.
And. Hoo Boy. There’s no more liberating a feeling than peeling tape off your mouth, even if your mouth skin kind of comes off with it and you bleed a little. But it’s fine! It’s green, which means it’ll heal.
Fabulous. Danny zooms off invisibly into the night, more than willing to put the night behind him.
*
…Okay, the third time is what makes it more than a coincidence.
Danny shucks out of the bruise-tight ropes around his wrists, torso, knees, and legs, spits out his gag, and flies home. He finally has to give into the inevitable, and attempts the last resort:
“Jazz?” he whispers, slowly rocking his sister in her bed. Jazz mumbles in her sleep.
“Jaaaaazzy…” Danny tries again, trying not to look either too spooky or too imposing. Jazz’s reflexes are such that—
The laser she keeps under her pillow goes off. Danny loses a few millimeters of hair, which means that her aim is getting better.
He doesn’t have any trouble seeing in the dark (or, uh, not anymore, anyway), but it’s easy to see Jazz’s sleepy squint as she pulls herself somewhat upright. More like a shrimp with scoliosis, but, well. You know.
“Whuh,” Jazz asks. “...Danny?”
“Hey,” Danny whispers, a ghost at her bedside. Jazz grunts. “Uh. What does it mean when you keep waking up in a trash bag behind the gas station?”
Jazz blinks. Jazz rubs her eyes. Jazz blinks again, looking more sleepy than coherent but at least somewhat aware of her surroundings.
“Garbage bag?” Jazz asks blearily. “You were in a garbage bag?”
“Yeah,” Danny whispers back. “My legs were tied down?”
“...Danny, were you murdered?”
Danny stops.
“Huh?” says Danny.
*
“So, if you look here,” Tucker points out, finger not quite touching the glass of his CRT monitor, “That’s when Danny gets murdered.”
There is a collective eeew from the assembled viewers— Jazz, Sam, and Danny, all crowded in Tucker’s room.
“Yeah, Tucker agrees. The light from the black-and-white footage flashes in the reflection of his glasses. “Here’s where he’s tossed in…there. And this is when they tossed him in the dumpster.”
There’s no sound on the gas station surveillance footage, but Danny imagines that his body clanged on the way in. What the hell. Danny got murdered behind a gas station, and he didn’t even notice?!
They watch the archived footage of a Ford F-150 driving off the property, and then Danny’s dead body being unceremoniously tossed in a dumpster. It’s kind of surreal. No one had noticed. There was no one to report the crime committed.
“I can’t believe that guy just clocked you over the head, like that,” Sam points out. “It’s just a regular car jack. It shouldn’t have gotten you in the first place.”
The observation isn’t appreciated.
“Be nice! My brother was just murdered,” Jazz scolds. Danny doesn’t think she sounds as offended as she should be. “Either way, it’s certainly an attempted murder, if not a successful one. We have to do something.”
“…Can’t we just call the cops?” Tucker asks, turning away from the computer. “I mean. Look. That’s proof. We have proof right here.”
Sure enough, there is footage. Right there. There’s Danny’s murder, in 240p black and white.
“Where’s the body?” Sam asks dryly, and. Uh. That’s a problem they’ll have to solve.
Everyone looks at everyone else. No one has a good solution.
“…Do we have to do this?” Tucker realizes at the same second as the rest of them.
Jazz looks at Danny. Danny looks at Sam. Sam looks at Tucker.
Tucker stares back at them, entirely unenthused with the conclusion they’ve come to.
“…Okay then,” Jazz exhales. “How do you want to do this?”
*
Sam ends up on top of the gas station, a cell phone in her hand.
Tucker, PDA in hand, sits in Jazz’s passenger seat. The camera feed is ongoing and recording for posterity.
Jazz taps her fingers on the wheel of her car. There isn’t anywhere better to hide than down the road and around the corner, so she does, hoping that they’re on the other end of the road from whoever’s killing her brother every night.
Danny is, of course, wandering through the neighborhood.
Losing her baby brother—on purpose—is the worst thing Jazz can imagine. She feels sick. She wants to throw him into the car and speed away, and break every speed limit law in the county on her way out. She wants to pack him in bubble wrap and ship him expedited to France.
But she does leave her brother alone. She lets Tucker look over the footage as Danny roams around town, just as unaware and unsuspecting as his last few outings.
Tucker sees the man first.
He bolts upright, eyes on his PDA. “Jazz.”
Her head whips around. They watch, silently, as someone approaches Danny’s lone figure on the doorstep outside the gas station.
They can’t hear anything. That’s the scariest part.
“Call,” Jazz demands. Tucker does.
Doubtlessly, on the roof of the gas station, Sam is dialing too.
*
So. Danny knows this guy.
And. Uh. It’s kind of embarrassing; he’d asked if Danny was okay walking home alone at night a few hours before his dumpster wake-up call, and Danny had said it was fine.
Apparently, no, it wasn’t fine. That being said, Danny hadn’t been expecting a guy in a button-up and khakis to be the guy murdering him on the down low. He kind of looks like the dude who sells you televisions and burner phones at a Wal-Mart.
The guy comes all the way over to where Danny is sitting on the thin concrete step of the gas station. His breath fogs up from the weather and his eyes rake over Danny, up and down; down and up.
“Hey,” he says, looking all the world like any other concerned citizen. Danny’s heart throbs. “It’s cold outside. You need a ride back to town?”
“…No,” says Danny, who doesn’t.
“Your mom okay with you comin’ home late by yourself?” the man asks nervously, hands going to his hair.
Danny thinks about how many times he’s woken up in the dumpster. He thinks about seeing his own body on the camera tape. Prone. Dead.
“You still keep a car jack in your passenger seat?” Danny asks instead.
The man freezes. An attempted murderer he might be, but he’s not exactly an Oscar-winning actor. “What?”
“The car jack,” Danny repeats. He doesn’t know if he’s mad the man keeps targeting him, or whether he’s grateful Danny’s the only one who’s died so far. “It’s got a lot of sharp corners. They hurt, you know.”
The man…carefully laughs the statement off, but he looks. Nervous.
Danny doesn’t really need to confront him; he only has to stall long enough that Tucker or Sam can call the cops, so that they can see this man’s face and get him on the record. But.
There’s a part of Danny…
The man looks so human. Flush with blood. Solid enough to break. Fragile enough to be made broken.
Danny still resents being made dead. This man didn’t kill Danny—not in any way that mattered, but he’s an easy target.
He doesn’t breathe. The man watches a boy sit in the shadows of a building where he’s been dumping bodies, and Danny can taste his fear.
“It hurt a lot,” Danny says, and he isn’t referring to waking up in the bags every couple of mornings in the last few weeks. “It hurt so much. I was screaming.”
The man is silent.
“Do you like to hear the screaming?” Danny asks, suddenly curious. Did he care, if Danny had screamed, or if he had been too unaware to notice he was dying? Would he have cared, if there were others more breakable than Danny that he had hurt?
He doesn’t answer.
“I don’t like it,” Danny confesses. In a horrible way, it’s easy to tell his would-be murderer about his death—unlike Tucker or Sam, who witnessed it, or Jazz, who loves him, this man can’t be affected by Danny’s take on his own death. In fact, if he is hurt by the thought of Danny’s death…good. It’s better if he is. If there is remorse in him. “I don’t like to hear screaming. I screamed for so long, and so loud. It felt like forever.”
The man’s hands curl. He steps back.
Danny can’t help but to frown. If he leaves, the whole point of calling the cops will be for nothing, and he’ll be warier of coming back to where Danny’s body was dropped. “Where are you going?”
The man takes another step back. Danny rockets upright. He’s on his feet in seconds. “Weren’t you here for me?” Danny asks, genuinely confused, arms outstretched. “We’re here. You dumped me here over and over again.”
“Shut up,” the man snaps, startling the both of them with his volume. “He—you’re not real. You’re… Be quiet. I have real things to get done tonight!”
Danny’s dead heart throbs. Is there another dead kid? Did Danny let another kid get killed in Danny’s place? “Do you?”
The man loses his voice.
“We’re already here,” Danny points out. He steps closer—closer to the truck that drove his dead body around town, further from the dumpster where his body had been dropped. The disposal hadn’t been a funeral, but it’s closer than anything Danny’s ever had. “You’re here. I’m here. Aren’t you here for me?”
A choked breath. Danny gets closer. The ectoplasm in his skin is too warm and too cold—but he has no idea what he looks like from the outside. Is he glowing? Is he see-through? Does he just look like any other dead kid: a little too cold, a little too pale?
They’re eye to increasingly shorter eye. Up close, the man just looks like any other guy. Shaved in the face. Wrinkles around his eyes. A nose. A mouth.
Danny’s not afraid of him. His head tilts. “You’ve already killed me three times. What are you going to do now? I’ll just come back again. I won’t even notice. I died. I know what you look like—I know how to find you. It’ll be easy.”
The man’s pupils dilate—
And then there’re hands on Danny’s neck. And. It’s kind of painful, but Danny doesn’t have to breathe. So. He just kind of…pretends to be hurt?
He’s meant to be stalling for time. The cops are coming. All he needs is time.
So Danny makes some somewhat dramatic sounds and kicks out with his feet, because a fight lasts longer than a passive victim. He lands a hit to the man’s stomach, and another to his chest—he doesn’t drop Danny the way Danny might have expected, but Danny isn’t going to run out of air, so this can last forever until the man lets go. Or does something.
“Stop— coming— back,” the man snarls, and suddenly sounds nothing like the dudes who man the tech counter at the Walmart. “I got you— you should be gone!”
Danny is gone. But he’s also here. And he’s also been gone for a very long time, and he’s also getting choked out by a guy in a gas station parking lot. It’s been a rough few hours of waiting for this dude. He might as well make it worth it.
So maybe his body turns a little translucent. Just a little. Just enough to see the streetlight through his skin, probably, and the hazy road behind them.
Getting thrown to the concrete hurts, but, you know, not as badly as getting tossed into a wall by Skulker on a rampage. Danny’s barely going to be bruised after this.
The guy runs to his car, and Danny frowns, scrambling back up, and, wait. Wouldn’t having bruises be better? As evidence? They better not heal too quickly, or else that’ll be it of his physical proof.
“Where are you going?” Danny asks, more perplexed and angry than anything. Isn’t he supposed to try to kill the witness??
But the guy hauls butt into the cab of his truck— and then the lights go on and the tires start spinning, the engine roaring to life.
If Danny wasn’t actively on camera at the moment, it would be easy to fly after the car. As it is, he’s pretty fast, but he’s not quite quick enough on his feet to chase after a pickup truck careening down the highway in the dark.
The man’s gone in a few seconds. Honestly, Danny’s kind of annoyed about the whole thing. It would have been nice for it to work.
Sam climbs down from the roof of the gas station, phone in her hand. “No, I just— he choked out my friend and drove off! Send someone over here already!! You— do you need the license plate again?!”
Danny just looks at her. Sam covers her phone’s mic with a hand: “They’re saying five minutes,” she mouths.
Great.
Danny hunkers down, throat bruising, and Sam sits down beside him. They wait.
By the time the cops pull into the gas station, the guy’s more than out of sight. Sam’s the one who takes the lead on dictating their story. Danny sort of doesn’t realize how out of it he is until someone tries to throw a shock blanket on him. He almost hits the guy square in the face— and Sam’s the one who has to catch his arm.
Uh. Oops.
Jazz and Tucker roll in, hardly pretending to have not been nearby; Jazz wraps her arms around him, and Danny lets her.
Sue him. It’s late. He’s tired.
“...And I can’t believe you weren’t able to get down the road in time to catch a man who choked out my best friend,” Sam snaps, which, aw! Danny’s a best friend. The cop she’s attempting to strip down for parts looks less sympathetic than Danny feels. “You’re barely a ten minute drive up the highway! What were you doing, meandering?”
“No,” the cop grits out, eying Sam like a bug on his shoe. “We were telling the officer down the road what to look out for.”
Apparently, jamming the gas down hard enough to bust your speedometer gets you pulled over at the speed check.
The night is over before Danny knows it. Someone gets him to the station, someone takes photos of his bruises and takes his statement. Someone calls Mom and Dad and then Danny’s in the GAV, half asleep and exhausted beyond belief.
He falls asleep on the couch, Mom’s fingers in his hair.
*
It’s not like the Amity Park police tell them anything, but Jazz is the one who finds the report on the news.
She records it on the TiVo for him.
“Eustace Miller, from Tennessee,” Sam reads aloud, knee to knee on his couch. Tucker adjusts his glasses. “Looks like he was already on the run.”
“Or as good as,” Tucker agrees quietly. “Looks like they’re pinning a couple of cold cases to him.”
They watch; there’s pictures of him from his hometown, and from the towns he would visit on his joyride across the country. There were pictures of his family. There were pictures of kids Danny would never meet: kids who were already dead, and who had been for months. Years, even.
They’d looked so happy in the photos from when they were alive.
…Danny could relate.
Jazz turns the report off that night, thumb on the power button. And that’s all it takes for Danny to stop waking up in a trash bag.

[SUMMARY: Joel continues an affair with his innocent neighbor, having a quickie in her backyard while her husband is home.]
PART TWO
“You don’t worry about him when I’m fucking you, ya hear me?”
That night after Joel left, your husband didn’t get home until nearly dawn. You faked being asleep with your back to him hearing him walk inside and go straight to the shower.
You couldn’t sleep that night but for the first time it wasn’t because of your husbands absence …but more so….Joel’s absence. It was hard to stop thinking about him…thinking about what you had just done but you knew it could never happen again.
The next morning you made breakfast silently, your husband not having much to say to you as usual so it was easy to avoid him. A quick peck on the cheek before giving you an excuse of how it will be so hard for him to call you on break, his voice fading in the background…before you even realized it, he had left.
The trash from the night before still sitting by the front door, you sighed cursing at yourself before taking it out yourself.
“Can’t count on him for a damn thing” you muttered to yourself as you lifted the top of the bin not realizing Joel was outside next door. Once you closed the bin that’s when you were caught off guard by the image of him before you. He didn’t say a word, barely getting a chance to as you quickly looked away rushing back inside. Joel watched as the door slammed shut before hearing Sarah come out behind him.
“Dad, you ready?” He cleared his throat turning away from your direction.
“Yeah, let’s go. You’re gonna be late” Joel hopped in his truck and drove off.
Peaking through your window you watched him leave. Sighing to yourself you turned away, how the hell were you suppose to face him?
Especially in front of your husband.
Joel had woken up that morning reminiscing on the night before, standing in the shower he remembered how wet you were for him as hesitant as you may have been.
If you weren’t married he swore he would’ve let himself cum in you..over and over.
That evening after running some errands you got home to find your husband and Joel talking to each other on the front lawn. Stopping in your tracks, your lips parted, it being the last thing you expected to come home to.
“There you are, look what Joel got for us” Henry grinned showing you the very same bottle of wine the two of you had opened together the evening before.
“This is one of my favorite brands, how’d you know?” Henry laughed as you stood nervously before them.
“Lucky guess” Joel shrugged as he glimpsed at you with a smirk.
You could kill him.
“This is gonna go great with the game tonight, thank you-“
“I better get dinner going” you interrupted making the two men look over at you.
“Sure go ahead,”
“Thanks, Joel” you muttered uncomfortably as you quickly walked away. Henry continued on talking about the game that night not noticing the way Joel’s eyes followed you. He noticed your husband not offering to help you with the two heavy bags you had bought in, yet it was all things you were used to.
“Dinner almost ready?” Henry called out to you from the living room as you put his clothes in the laundry.
“Just a couple more minutes!” You responded when you noticed the collar of his shirt had a weird stain on it. Your heart sinking as you came to realize it was stained with a woman’s lipstick. Sitting down on the bed you sighed, unsure of how you were suppose to feel.
Of course it hurt, yet you couldn’t help but think about what you were doing the day before.
It didn’t make you any better.
Although, it was very much obvious Henry had been doing this for some time now…you just never had any physical evidence of it.
Serving Henry his dinner as he sat in front of the tv he noticed you hadn’t served yourself.
“Aren’t you eating now?”
“No. Um, I was feeling a little queasy earlier. I’m not too hungry” you lied. Henry shrugged his shoulders and went on to watch the game.
Quickly walking away you held yourself together before walking out the back door. The sun had gone down, it was nearly eight o’clock, it was a quiet evening…it was what you needed. Closing the door behind you, you took a deep breath standing in the middle of your backyard when you heard a noise next door.
Of course it was Joel Miller.
The second he lay eyes on you, you froze, your arms crossed as he walked closer to the fence.
“You gonna run away again, darlin’?”
“What are you trying to do? Gifting him the same wine bottle I had-“
“Actually it was for you” he interrupted before realizing you seemed distracted, you seemed upset. Raising a brow he took a step closer.
“You alright?”
“Yes, what makes you think I’m not?” You asked defensively just as the sound of your husband cheering loudly was heard from your window making you turn to it. Joel took advantage that you looked away and quickly climbed over the low fence. The sound of his boots hitting the ground making you turn back and gasp.
“Joel! Are you crazy?!” You whispered as he proceeded to walk towards you.
“What are you doing? My husband is inside!” His arm closing around your waist pulling you against his body.
“You tellin’ me ya don’t wanna see me?” His question making you look up into his playful brown eyes, a smirk on his lips. Your hand on his chest yet you weren’t applying pressure to push him away. There it was again, those intense feelings of confusion…
“Joel…please..if Henry-“
“Forget about Henry” he whispered looking down at your lips. Slowly he leaned towards you, his hand gently tilting your face up, he kissed you softly before the sound of Henry’s voice caused you to quickly push him back.
“This is insane, you need to go” you turned away from him refusing to look back at him when you felt his hands roughly take hold of your hips.
“Joel” you gasped when you felt him push himself up against you. A full erection could be felt through his sweats, his pelvis thrusting against you.
“Joel please…I shouldn’t..” you whispered feeling him slowly pull up your dress. Looking behind him making sure no one was around he pushed down his pants, his cock sticking out of the hole in his boxers, he slipped his hand between your warm thighs and pulled aside your underwear. The sounds of the two of you breathing loudly as you felt his cock meet with your wet pussy. Your eyes rolling back as he slid in you and proceeded to work in a slow steady rhythm. Each stroke he could hear how wet you were, the juices from your pussy beginning to leave wet stains on his boxers as he slowly picked up his pace. His quick thrusts causing you to hold onto the wall beside you to keep yourself steady before he pulled you back into his body.
“He doesn’t fuck you like this, does he?” He whispered roughly in your ear as he fucked you harder.
“Tell me that pussy only gets this wet for me-“ he grunted. It was true, the level of arousal his touch bought you was like nothing you had felt.
“Say it!” He gave your hips a tight squeeze as you struggled not to moan.
“I’m only wet for you, Joel-“ you panted.
“You promise?”
“I promise!” You whispered as a whimper escaped your lips. Henry yelling at the tv making you jump and turn to your window until Joel grabbed you by your hair turning you away from it.
“You don’t worry about him when I’m fucking you, you hear me?” your head back against him as he pulled on your hair with such force that only turned bought you closer to orgasm.
“Yes-yes” you gasped as he continued to thrust his hips. Sex wasn’t like this with Henry.
Sex with Joel felt like a wild ride you didn’t want to end. Staring up at the clear sky with stars you couldn’t believe you were having a quickie with Joel Miller in your backyard. The strap of your dress slipping down your shoulder causing Joel to push it down further.
“Joel-“ you gasped quickly covering your breast.
“No one’s gonna see a thing” his large hand squeezing your breast as he continued, the sound of his breathing growing heavier right before he came.
“Shit-“ you felt him quickly slip out of you as you turned and watched him leaned back against the wall and jerk himself off onto the floor. Squeezing his eyes shut you watched as cum continued to shoot out of him. Out of breath he proceeded to fix his pants still leaning back. You could tell with how much he came he just had any energy sucked out of him. Looking over at you he winked at you, reaching over and fixing the strap of your dress not realizing you had never fixed it, distracted at the sight of Joel cumming. The sound of your husband still yelling at the tv as you worriedly looked at your window. Joel pulled you back against him seeing the guilt slowly make its way through you again.
“Hey” he whispered making you look up at him.
“I know he’s cheating on me” you blurt out.
“I just…I never thought I’d be married sneaking around with another man”
“Come over Friday” he whispered unexpectedly.
“What?”
“I’m off, Sarah’s in school, Tommy’s working, you’re home alone- I want cha in my bed” his eyes darkened, the thought exciting him.
“I…I don’t know, Joel..I can’t keep doing this.”
“Promise me you’ll think about it” his eyes were desperate for a positive response.
“Yes..I-I promise. I gotta go, Joel” before you could pull away he pulled you in for another kiss. Never had you felt this way from a kiss with your own husband, you couldn’t explain it. Joel let you go and watched you go inside before he climbed back over the fence as if nothing had happened..

༄ bad habits | suguru geto
synopsis: suguru needs to get rid of his bad habit, and you’re the perfect replacement.
contents: lowercase spelling, mentions of smoking, withdrawals, breeding, unprotected sex, smut.
suguru smoked; that was no surprise. stress is a given, and with stress come bad habits, so why not kill stress with a cig or two?
he started in his senior year of high school, then it got progressively worse through university, now in his last year, he’s contemplating on whether to quit.
exams, job, rent, car payments, flights back home, shit, it was way too much; this habit wasn’t dying anytime soon.
at least that’s what he thought before he saw you coughing up a lung every time he smoked.
shit… that was the last thing he wanted, and the fact you never said a word about it made him even more pissed off.
“i’m gonna quit," he says, putting a pack of cigarettes on the table where you were working.
you look at the cigarettes, then at him with a grin on your face. did you believe it? hell no, it was exam week on a monday night.
“that’s great, hun. get them off the table; it’s unsanitary.” you return to looking at your computer and typing.
sugurus mouth flies open and his eyebrows furrowed, a tiny sting flying through his heart.
wow, you didn’t believe him, and that hurt. he shook his head, a smirk appearing on his mouth.
“you don’t believe me, but i guarantee i’m serious.” he says sliding the cigarette box towards you, his eyebrow raised.
oh shit, maybe he is serious.
you grinned at him, reaching out and tapping on the box and sliding it towards you more. you nodded towards him, tapping on your computer.
“okay go gather all the boxes and cigarettes; we can start from there.” a reassuring smile on your face, making his heart warm.
he nodded, getting up to gather everything. it took a while to gather everything from every crack and crevice.
his arms filled with boxes and little lighters, folding them out as they spill on the table, your mouth open in shock.
“what the hell?" you mutter, closing your computer and sliding it to the side as you try to count out the pile.
after a few minutes, you sigh, sliding down in your seat, suguru eyeing you down as he chews on his nails in anticipation.
“twenty… eight boxes, i mean, what the fuck?” you sigh out, the sight of the boxes making you sick.
he sighs and slightly shakes at all the boxes. he quickly slides out the trash bag from his back pocket, sliding everything in.
“let’s make this quick.” everything sliding in with ease, he ties the bag, dropping it on the floor.
that was three days ago, and he’s now shaking his leg up and down repeatedly as he bites down on his fingers.
he stops biting and slides the rubber band holding his bun, all his hair dropping.
“fuck…” he mutters to himself. this was a bad idea; he needed a fix—just a hit, a tiny puff.
“what are you doing up? don’t you have an exam tomorrow?” you walk into the living room, rubbing your eyes, and your boyfriend bouncing his leg.
his head quickly turns to you as you walk closer to him.
“yeah, i couldn’t sleep.” he mutters, his voice barely above a whisper. he couldn’t do this; it was like a bad itch. he needed to do something.
he looks at your exposed thighs then up your body, the oversized shirt sitting on you.
this.
he pulls your hand, walking you closer towards him. you now in between his legs.
you lift your hand, rubbing down his hair, then lean down, placing a kiss on his head.
a smile sliding onto his face, his hands rubbing the back of your soft thighs and slowly sliding up your ass.
“baby… help me, just this once.” he mutters, dropping his head down. you rub his head more, letting out a hum.
“with what, love?” you mutter back, half asleep still. he clears his dry throat as he slides his hands into your shorts, your bare ass in his hands.
“come closer and i’ll show you.” his voice a little louder, his head lifting back up, and his dark eyes illuminating from the moon shining through the blinds.
you step a little closer, your leg hitting the couch. suguru slides back on the couch, his legs moving out further, and he pats both his thighs.
climbing on top of him, both your knees on opposite sides of him, and your ass resting on his bulge.
oh there it is.
he rubs both your thighs for a couple of seconds before he puts his hand between your thighs, pushing both your shorts and panties to the side.
as he does that, you pull down his sweats and briefs, his length landing on his stomach.
you slide a finger over his tip, pre-cum leaking out a little more. he was eager and hungry.
he straightens up as he slides his hands to your waist, pushing you towards him with your chest in his face.
placing one hand on the back of his head and the other on his shoulder as he positions himself in line with you.
when you feel his tip near your entrance, you slowly slide down, a small sigh sliding past suguru’s lips.
“no foreplay, hm?” your body lifting once it’s all in, then back down, his hands gripping your waist tighter.
you rub his hair as he nuzzles into your chest, your scent entering his nose.
“sorry, i’m just… a little stressed." his hips lifting, his dick pushing into you deeper, a moan sliding out of your mouth.
he takes his hands off your waist and instead wraps his arms around you as he slides out of you, then back in.
there’s nothing but silence as he continues to slide in and out of you. he goes down and then up again, pounding into you.
that time you felt a pleasurable tingle, you slid your hand down his hair, gripping his ends.
“go up again… right there.” you breathe out, his hips pushing back up, and he presses the spot again.
his dick twitching inside you as you lower your hips down a little more.
“that’s not too deep?” he grunts out as you start moving your hips and grinding, hitting that tingly sensation every time.
you shake your head as you lean down, nuzzling your face into his neck, your back arching.
suguru quickly slides out and pounds into you again, holding the position, then doing it again.
your hips moving more frantically as the tingling gets more intense, the grazing of your clit sliding past his stomach.
“a little deeper, baby.” you moan out, his grip around you tightening, you, your breathing getting heavier.
his dick still twitching each time he slides into you; he’s about to cum, and so are you.
“cum with me.” he mutters out into your chest, the vibrations from your voice making you shiver and your walls tighten.
you move your hips more as he presses deeper inside you. there it is.
you kiss his neck, your tongue sliding out over the spot as you suck, your walls clenching around him, and dick dick pulsing even more.
“yes or no.” he moans out, his arms unclenching and his hands sliding to your ass, gripping.
an answer couldn’t be formed as you moan and he releases, filling you to the brim, cum and your fluids dripping out.
spit dripping out of your mouth as you unhook from his neck, deep breaths erupting from both your mouths.
you lift your head up, leaning back and looking at him, his head laid on the back of the couch, eyes closed.
bags under his eyes; he was exhausted; his hands were still gripped on your bottom; you poke his cheek, leaning forward, wrapping your arms around him.
“don’t pass out on me.” you mutter. his hands slide up to your waist, and he wraps his arms around you.
“i’m not; let’s just stay like this.” he mutters, a sigh of relief coming out. he needed this; he might need to keep fucking you to get rid of smoking.
that can’t be so bad, right?

Randomly off the bat Dabi, Shigaraki and Spinner (separately) With a quirkless girlfriend Who has an Ex that wants to get back with her, BUT……. The ex turns that “HE BROKE UP WITH HER” because she “had no quirk” and that she was “useless to him”
(Those are the quotes she says to them while telling them the short version of the story) Dabi, Shigaraki, Spinner, deals with the situation themselves.
(I love those boys😍 and I thought it be a good idea story for you, so go crazy and have fun with it😅)
Okay, girlie, while I love the fact that you're sharing this stuff with me, I don't think you read this. the yellow paragraph. I hope you send this request to some other writers, @honeybubblebeeeeee is one of my personal favs. I do however like the idea of a reader having no quirk and being abandoned because of it, so I'll put a platonic spin on it.
AND I ALSO DON"T WRITE FOR SPINNER SORRY!!!
Reader was abandoned by their family after being born to a quirk marriage meant to provide children with strong quirks only for their first child to have no quirk. not wanting their reputation destroyed they abandoned our dear reader at 5 leaving her in an orphanage and a note to near come find them less they wanted a bounty on their head. (reader is now 16)
Tumblr media
Dabi likes children, he likes how they have this innocent aura, he likes that they, hopefully, have not gone through the horrors he has. Hopefully. On the other hand, he hates quirk marriages, he hates hero's, in fact, I'd even say he hates fathers in general.
To tell Dabi that your relationship with your father or your mother is bad is to get them at the top of his hit list, VIP shit. Endeavor is just a couple seconds behind them.
but what hurts him more, what hurts him the most is if you actually believe them, if you push yourself through hand to hand combat, sniping, and other such practices not for the sake of improving yourself but to prove to them (not that they care) that you are not useless.
Oh how it pains him, to wake up in the dead of night to see your tear stricken face as you berate a poor punching bag to death on the roof. The wind is cool as you swing, and swing again. It's as if you dance for the stars of the night and the stars alone with not a thought for the trees or the mountains. Only ever the stars.
The sting hurts, the impact of thinly wrapped fists against a leathery wall, but that anger that drains with it is enough to make the pain worth it, is it not?
That anger you feel, is an anger that Touya knows all too well. The type of anger that makes one want to yell of the heavens, yell that they are not a sinner despite being imprisoned in hell. He’ll watch as you swing with fury, fury of not being enough, fury of being thrown away like trash.
one man's trash is another's treasure though, right?
In that case, you're Touya's most darling treasure. Oh the urge to hold you close and tell you everything's going to be okay, as he pets your head, whispering promises of vengeance on your behalf. To give you a reason to smile.
Oh, it's strong.
Oh, the blood he's shed for you.
he won't say anything, if you see him get you water after you nearly faint from mental and physical exhaustion, no you didn't. if you saw him undo the bandages on your arms from training and replace them with new fresh ones, you're delusional. If you saw him stalking your family's socials and calling someone to leak their crimes, shhh, don't tell.
----
Tumblr media
"I mean, yeah, you kinda are."
Was his genuine first thought.
I mean, what do you want him to say? that your quirk doesn't determine your worth, like what?
and darling, when I say correct him, I mean correct him, please correct him. Please look dead into his eyes and say "I'm not useless!". for when I say it will escalate, trust me it will Escalate.
this boy has never had a true friend, and on top of that, he was teased as a child for, well being him. So the moment he gets a friend, his heart will swell, for once he feels cherished, and my poor boy, he doesn't show it correctly.
he's just so happy to finally have someone to talk to and joke around with, but doesn't realize just yet what is a joke and what is not. so he'll keep pushing it, it supposedly is an "inside joke" so he'll keep doing it.
So please correct him! tell him that it hurts, and tell him lightly to not risk breaking his heart.
Because he wants to make you happy, he can't stand the fact that you go quiet whenever he calls you quirkless, and that you're progressively distancing yourself more and more. And believe me when I say, it's painful for the both of you.
Please be his friend, and please let him make you happy correctly, you are just so perfect, we can't have such a perfect thing so sad now can we?
---
yeah, done admist some weird shit, and did I mention that I'm a horrible writer?

tbh, I feel like I’ve been drifting away from the original scummy scara I made when I first made the au, so I would like to let everyone know that he is a BIG freak. the type of guy you avoid because he’s just… so creepy and weird. like, restraining order, banned in fifty states type of weird.
he will steal a pen you’ve been nibbling on in class, and do all sorts of things to it that you don’t wanna know. like shoving it down his throat or something idk.
he goes through the trash and takes the gun you spat out, and chews it as if he were a man on death row. and at this point he might as well be.
he ‘makes’ you home made lunch. (which is just store brought food he put into a lunch box). awe, so thoughtful, right? NO, he passed out after cumming so much to replace the dressing on your salad.
spits in your drink, so it’s almost like you’re kissing in a way, because his saliva is in your mouth yada yada. he’s so delusional, gosh.
this man jerks off to anything. pictures of you in a bikini. pictures of your panties that he snuck a photo of from under your skirt. hell, he has even fapped it to a post he found on one of your family members facebook where you look like the most ordinary person ever. anything.
he acts like an angel around you, but the moment you turn your back, he has this dark, violent glint in his eyes at anyone who isn’t you.
he STANK. like discord moderator who manages thirty different servers. he plays video games 24/7 and eats only fast food + he lives in his mothers basement so minus points.
his mind is SO dirty too. like you could be complaining about this one girl who has been getting on your nerves recently, and all he can think about is bending you over the table and running his hands all over your body. he thinks of you when he shouldn’t, and in ways he shouldn’t, even before you knew his name.
yeah he’s so sweet, and kisses the ground you walk on. but he also would love nothing more then to knock you up and keep you as his cute little spouse who he can come home and make love to every day.
god and he’s a brat too, don’t get me started. like, throwing tantrums when you decide to sit with someone else at lunch. starting fights with people who so much as look in your general direction (ones that he loses cause he is so small and scrawny). screaming profanities at the professors who separate your seating plans in lectures, and so on.
if you’ve been keeping up with my posts, you’ll know that this man has a literal sex doll replica of you he sleeps with at night. it’s so detailed to the point where there is freckles in the exact same spot they are on your skin. (even some moles and beauty marks that you didn’t even know you had, and god knows how he does).
has a shrine of you in his closet. strands of your hair he has collected. lipgloss and chapstick he has stolen from your bag whilst you weren’t looking. accessories like rings and bracelets. nail polish, all the works. and in the middle of this shrine, in all its glory, is a pair of your underwear that he took while you were in the changing rooms. he prays to it. the holy grail.
he has been dating you in his head the moment he saw you, like, gets a little annoyed when you don’t remember your five month anniversary, but the thing is, you didn’t even know you’re dating at all.
I love him. don’t get me wrong, but he is not the man you want to get involved with, like AT ALL.
go for someone like scummy alhaitham, who has (some) self respect 👍

“Have you met your new neighbor yet?” Cassian’s staticky voice crackled in Azriel’s ear, his phone held in place by his shoulder and ear as he furiously searched his apartment for his keys.
“Not yet, just saw the back of her head once when she was closing her door.” Azriel said as he toppled the couch cushions and ran his fingers through the deep crevice on the side. “Where the fuck are my keys?” He muttered, his fingers trailing over long forgotten crumbs that had slid down the side of the cushion. “Were you eating Doritos last time you were here?”
“Uh,” Cassian’s voice caught in his throat. “What happens if I say yes?”
Azriel rolled his eyes and said, “Nothing other than supergluing a trash bag to you as a bib next time you’re over.”
“Wasn’t me, man. Must’ve been Rhysie.” Cassian brushed him off.
Azriel barely mustered a “hmmmm” in acknowledgment as he lowered himself to the ground to check underneath the couch, hoping to see the metallic glint of his keys and only seeing dust bunnies.
“Anyway,” Cassian said in his ear, cutting out for a second before coming back in full volume. Since he had perpetual shitty service, Cassian felt the need to make up for it with shouting. “Your hot new neighbor, do you think you could give her my phone number? She was definitely making eyes at me last time I was there.”
“Was she?” Azriel asked, barely paying attention as he hunted for his keys. He pushed himself off of the floor, his gaze scanning the open space. Where the hell had he put them? He came home dead tired from a shift last night and he remembered fumbling with them out in the hall — there had been a crash from his neighbors apartment that had distracted him, his head already pounding from the drinks he had with Cassian, and he remembered the sound of his keys hitting the ground — did he leave his keys in the hall?
“Are you listening to me?” Cassian asked, his voice sounding far away as Azriel headed towards his door, his duffle bag already there and waiting for him.
“Of course,” Azriel said, opening the door and spotting his keys in a lump on the floor. “You want me to set you up with my hot neighbor.” He bent down, his fingers looping around his keys as he heard a high-pitched “Oh!” from across the hall.
Azriel’s entire body stilled as he turned his head and saw the most beautiful wide brown eyes and flushed pink cheeks.
He blinked at her. No wonder Cassian wanted him to give her his number. Fat-fucking-chance.
“Hellloo?” Cassian asked in his ear like he was trying to wave his head in front of Azriel’s face.
Azriel just hung up on him.
“Sorry about that,” Azriel said, coming to his full height and shoving his phone in the back pocket of his jeans. “I – My friend – He saw you the other day and, um, he has a crush.”
Those brown eyes blinked at him and kicking himself seemed like too kind a punishment.
He was two seconds away from blurting out “I can’t blame him” just to end the agony of silence, but his new neighbor must have had a merciful soul because she beat him to it.
“I just wanted to introduce myself,” She said in the sweetest voice Azriel had ever heard and it wasn’t until then that he noticed she was holding out a pie. “Since I’ve been making so much racket I wanted to apologize.”
“Don’t apologize,” Azriel said, his hand surprisingly steady as he reached for her peace-offering. “I’m not home enough to be bothered by it.”
“Oh.” She said, looking down at her feet, her golden brown hair sweeping down around her.
“I just mean that there’s nothing to apologize for,” Azriel rushed out, her eyes peering up at him and his heart started fucking racing. “I work down at the local fire station, so I’m used to chaos.”
She bit her lip, her eyes dropping down to his muscled arms for a moment as she asked, “You’re a firefighter?”
“Yeah,” Azriel said, sticking out his hand. “I’m Azriel.”
“Elain,” She replied with a soft smile and placed her small hand in his. “It’s nice to meet you,” Azriel never wanted to let go. Her eyes flicked to the duffle bag on the floor behind him. “I don’t want to keep you.” She started to pull her hand away.
“No worries,” Azriel said quickly. “I was just going to meet up with some friends at the gym. Do you want to come in?” Azriel nodded to his apartment behind him. “I make espresso that goes great with pie.”
Elain took her hand back.
“Thank you for the offer,” Elain said with a small smile, taking a step back and reaching for the door knob to her apartment. Azriel felt his body screaming in response as she moved farther away from him. His eyes taking in the purple sundress she was wearing. “But my boyfriend is coming over soon.”
Azriel’s body steeled at the words. Boyfriend?
“Boyfriend?” Azriel asked out loud and Elain nodded her head.
“He’s coming over to see my new place.”
“He didn’t help you with the move?” Azriel already hated him. For probably more reasons that he didn’t want to think about, but what loser didn’t help his girlfriend with a move? Did she move in all by herself? Now that he thought about it, other than a few people from a moving company he didn’t see anyone else moving her in.
She shook her head.
“He was busy.” Elain said simply and Azriel hoped he kept his glower off of his face.
“Well, if you need any help you can always knock on my door.” Azriel offered, forcing a smile and he was delighted when she gave him one in return.
“Thank you,” Elain said, opening her door, and almost shutting it before she poked her head out. “And I love espresso.”
Azriel stood in the hallway, staring at her door and holding the pie and wondering what the hell just happened.
— — — — —
“No, no, no,  you don’t understand, he was really pretty.” Elain said to her sister over the phone as she rushed around her apartment.
“How pretty?” Feyre asked, her voice crackling from the poor cell service in Elain’s new building.
“I-forgot-about-Graysen-pretty.” Elain said, adjusting the bouquet of spring flowers on her coffee table. Residual guilt gnawing at her bones. Her boyfriend of two years. She forgot about her boyfriend of two years because of a pretty face. And muscles.
Something clattered on over the phone and Elain knew that her sister dropped a paint brush.
“Oh my God.” Feyre said, stunned.
“I know!” Elain cried, repositioning the silverware for the tenth time.
“Can you send me a picture?” Feyre asked.
“Well, I don’t have one, but just imagine the most good looking man you can think of and then like double that. And imagine him as a firefighter.” Elain said and rushed across the apartment to stir her bolognese sauce.
One interaction with Azriel and she was buzzing around her apartment not knowing what to do.
“I need to throw you a housewarming party just to see him.” Feyre said, laughing over the phone.
“This isn’t funny!” Elain pouted, stirring her sauce. “I almost went in for espresso.”
“You hate espresso.” Feyre said, and even though Elain couldn’t see her she knew her sister was smiling.
“I know.” Elain replied with a sinking feeling and stifled a sigh.
She couldn’t be friends with Azriel. He was too pretty. And by all accounts he was nice. She got the sense that he actually would help her if she needed it. That he wasn’t just saying that to be polite.
For some reason she wanted to stomp her foot like a child. She had to practically beg Graysen to see her new place.
“What are you going to do?” Feyre asked.
“Nothing.” Elain said abruptly.
“Elain,” Feyre said gently. “You called me just to talk about how pretty your neighbor is.” There was so much unspoken in Feyre’s voice that Elain felt the weight of it on her shoulders.
“It doesn’t matter,” Elain said, forcing away the rush of emotions. “I’m with Graysen.”
There was a moment of silence over the phone.
“It’s not a crime that you find another man attractive, Elain.” Feyre said and Elain felt herself nodding along.
“I know.”
A knock sounded from the door.
“I have to go, Graysen is here. I’ll talk to you later.”
“Ok-love-you-bye!” Feyre rushed out before Elain hung up.
— — — — —
“I can’t believe you followed me home.” Azriel said, fishing around in his duffle bag to pull out his keys.
The thump of Cassian bouncing a basketball beat steadily behind his back as Azriel unlocked his door.
“I didn’t follow you home,” Cassian said and Azriel shot him a bland look over his shoulder. “We’re hanging out, it’s what friends do.”
“And your being here has nothing to do with Elain?” Azriel asked, crossing his arms and narrowing his eyes at Cassian who had begun to spin the basketball on his index finger.
“Of course not, I—”
The ball slipped from Cassian’s finger and flew across the hall, smashing against Elain’s door. How the ball managed to move perpendicularly through the air, Azriel never knew.
Half of Azriel wanted to rush into his apartment and slam the door to leave Cassian to his own humiliation, but the sound of a male voice behind Elain’s door made Azriel stay in place.
Two seconds later they watched as the door swung open to reveal someone Azriel could only assume was The Boyfriend standing there with Elain peering out at them behind his shoulder.
The Boyfriend…did not look happy as he took in Azriel and Cassian standing in the hallway.
“Hi Azriel,” Elain said with a polite smile as she curiously looked at him. The eyes of The Boyfriend snapped to her and narrowed. “Is this yours?” She went to reach for the stray basketball, but The Boyfriend’s hands shot out and grabbed it first.
“You should be more careful next time.” He said, holding the ball out to Azriel, his eyes weary and smile plastic as he sized Azriel up.
“My bad,” Cassian said with a charming grin as he took the ball that Graysen was holding out after it became obvious that Azriel wasn’t going to. “Azriel has better control over his balls than I do,”  Cassian took a step back and slapped Azriel on the back, but when no one laughed he stuck his hand out toward Elain. “Cassian. Nice to meet you.”
“Elain.” She replied kindly, her eyes flickering to Azriel as she accepted Cassian’s outstretched hand.
“I was on the phone with him this morning.” Azriel said and nodded towards Cassian, his lips twitching as Elain’s eyes widened.
Everyone noticed the way her cheeks flushed and the way Cassian smiled hungrily.
Elain sheepishly drew her hand back as she asked, “Are you a firefighter as well?” Her eyes dipped to his t-shirt which boasted the numbers of the local fire station.
“You know it,” Cassian’s grin widened. “Someone’s got to rescue all those kitties trapped in trees.”
Elain laughed at that, but The Boyfriend bristled.
“We should get back to lunch.” The Boyfriend said with false cheer.
“Of course,” Elain said, blinking. “It was nice to see you both.” She nodded at Azriel and Cassian.
“I’m having some friends over next week,” Azriel rushed out as Elain was turning away. Her wide brown eyes curious as she looked at him over her shoulder. “Saturday. You should stop by.”
“I’d love to —”
“We have plans.” The Boyfriend cut her off, and Azriel couldn’t stop himself from glaring at him.
Elain’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she said, “But I asked if you wanted to get brunch and you mentioned a business lunch?”
Azriel’s jaw hurt as he ground his teeth together.
“We can head over once that’s wrapped up.” The Boyfriend said, his smile not budging from his lips.
“Elain can come whenever she wants.” Azriel said, his voice not exactly dark, but full of meaning. Enough meaning that Elain’s cheeks turned ripened pink and The Boyfriend outright glared at him.
Azriel didn’t back down from his stare, keeping his face completely neutral even though he knew Cassian was wearing a shit-eating grin next to him.
“That’s very kind of you,” Elain muttered, tugging on her boyfriend's arm. “I’ll see you later?” She asked hesitantly, and Azriel nodded in confirmation.
“It was nice meeting you!” Cassian called out as Elain was closing the door, but they managed to see the small smile on her lips before they were shut out.
Azriel and Cassian stood in the hallway, Azriel looking at the door intensely while Cassian’s eyes flitted between the door and his friend.
“Fuck that guy, right?” Cassian said.
“Yeah,” Azriel nodded. “Fuck that guy.”
— — — — — —
“And you haven’t seen him, right?” Graysen asked over the phone, his voice suspicious and casual in a way that made Elain roll her eyes.
“Not even in passing.” Elain said, flipping over her pancakes. For some reason she was craving something sweet as soon as she woke up — she didn’t even bother changing out of Graysen’s old Wharton’s shirt and her boy shorts she slept in.
“Good.” Graysen said, his relief evident over the phone.
“I don’t know why you hate him so much.” Elain muttered, moving her pancakes off of the heat and getting ready to add more batter to the hot pan.
“He was coming onto you right there in the hallway, right in front of me, and you weren’t exactly telling him to back off.” Graysen said irritably.
“You’re exaggerating.” Elain said, but the creeping, gnawing feeling of guilt wormed its way underneath her skin. She might be able to lie to Graysen, but she couldn’t lie to herself. And the fact that she could lie to Graysen sent alarm bells blaring in her mind.
“Yeah, well, don’t go over there on Saturday without me.” Graysen said in a way that made Elain bristle.
“You don’t even know what time your lunch will be over,” Elain said, her voice hitting an unbecoming whine. “And I’m free all day, so why wouldn’t I go over?”
“Because he wants to fuck you, Elain.”
“He does not!” Elain roared over the phone, her cheeks burning as she angrily flipped her pancakes. “And besides, there will be lots of people over there so it’s not like we’ll be alone. And after years of dating I’ve given you zero reasons not to trust me.”
Graysen sighed into her ear.
“I’m sorry,” He apologized and Elain felt slightly mollified. “I just don’t like that he lives across from you.”
“You have nothing to worry about.” Elain said in resignation, but she wondered if she had the willpower to push Azriel away if he made a move on her.
“I know.” Graysen said, but Elain could tell he didn’t quite believe the words.
She opened her mouth to speak, but a knock sounded from the door.
“I should go,” Elain said, taking the pancakes off a little too soon so they wouldn’t burn. “My breakfast is ready.” She didn’t tell Graysen about the knock, having a sneaking suspicion it was Azriel on the opposite side of the door.
“Enjoy, baby.”
“Thanks.” Elain said, hanging up before her guilt could consume her.
She rushed across the hardwood floor, completely forgetting the fact that she was in her underwear, and opened the door a crack to see Azriel on the opposite side of the door.
“Hi.” Elain said breathlessly, taking in his wet hair and clean scent and gray sweatpants. His white t-shirt clung to his torso in a way Elain shouldn’t have noticed.
“Hey,” Azriel said in a low voice, his face touched with kindness. “I was wondering if I could borrow some sugar?” He held out an empty measuring up.
“Oh,” Elain said in surprise. “Of course, come in.” She opened the door wider and stepped aside.
As soon as Azriel clocked what she was wearing his eyes darkened and he visibly swallowed.
“Sorry to interrupt.” Azriel said, his voice slightly scratchy.
Elain shook her head, her golden curls moving with her head, and said, “You’re not interrupting. I’m just making some breakfast…I always make too much…do you want some?” She nodded to the plate of towering pancakes.
“If you don’t mind.” Azriel said, a small smile winding on his lips.
“Of course not,” Elain said, gliding back to the kitchen in a rush. “Please have a seat.” She motioned towards the table without looking at it.
She piled four pancakes on top of each other with little pads of butter between them and drizzled a generous amount of maple syrup on top before placing it in front of Azriel.
“Coffee?” She asked and as soon as Azriel nodded his head, she filled up a mug and got out the half-and-half and set it down on the table.
“Did I forget anything?” Elain asked, looking around. “Oh! Do you like blueberries?” She was about to take off again when Azriel’s warm hand clasped around her wrist.
“Elain,” He said gently and Elain felt herself melt. His hazel eyes were amused and kind as they captured her attention. “I don’t mind, but you might want to put some pants on.” His eyes flickered down to her legs before he forcefully pulled them away.
“Oh,” Her eyes widened. “Oh! I’m so sorry! Excuse me!” Elain scampered off to grab the first article of clothing she could find - her well loved plaid pajama shorts. “Please just ignore the last three minutes!”
Her cheeks were pink as she made her way back into the common area, but even though she should be dying of humiliation since she was walking around pantless in front of someone she’d talked to for a collective ten minutes — she had a feeling this story would be re-told with charm rather than embarrassment.
“You’re not eating,” She stated when she returned to the table, her brows coming together. “Is something wrong?”
“I’m just waiting for you.” Azriel said with an easy grin.
Her heart stopped as if it understood his words and didn’t quite believe it.
He was waiting for her. How many times had she made a meal for Graysen and he just started without her?
“I’m sorry,” Elain muttered, averting her eyes. “I didn’t mean to keep you waiting.” She quickly gathered her own pancakes and coffee and sat next to Azriel — well adjacent to Azriel since she sat at the head of the table and Azriel was directly to her right.
“Don’t apologize,” Azriel said, leaning forward to place a warm hand on her bare knee. “I’m just trying to be polite.”
Her eyes locked on his brown hand on her pale thigh. Little scars scattered the length of his skin to create something beautiful, but she was taken by the mere size of his hand and the way it emitted warmth.
“Sorry.” Azriel quickly took his hand back as if she burned him. “I know they can freak people out.” His cheeks were red as he cut into the fluffy pancakes with his fork, little puffs of steam floated through the air as he took a bite. “Delicious pancakes, thank you.” Azriel said as he dug back into his breakfast.
“No,” Elain said belatedly and Azriel looked at her in confusion. “I was thinking about how large your hands are,” She held up her own hand, palm facing him and wiggling her fingers. “My sisters always made fun of how small my hands are. See?”
Azriel blinked at her.
“Your hands are perfect.” Azriel declared and Elain blushed.
“Well, so are yours, but that doesn’t mean mine aren’t freakishly small.”
Azriel snorted at her.
“They’re not freakishly small, they’re just…small.” Azriel said, smiling and Elain rolled her eyes in affection.
“Let me see yours.” She motioned for him to lift his hand up and he slowly, almost sheepishly, exposed his scarred and calloused palm to her. Elain laid her palm directly against his, indulging in the feel of his hand. The warmth. The strength. She tried to not think about his hands gripping her hips, or his fingers writing on her body. She really tried not to think about that.
“Hmmm.” Elain hummed as she took in the size difference of their hands. Her fingers barely touching his and his palm noticeably larger than hers. “I can’t tell if my hand is freakishly small or if yours is freakishly big.” She half-heartedly joked.
“I don’t know, I think they fit pretty perfectly together.” Azriel said almost thickly, and Elain tore her gaze away from their hands to see him intensely staring at her.
“Me too,” Elain said, slowly — begrudgingly — taking her hand back and using it to pick up her fork to stop herself from reaching for him again. “I can reach the bottom of the Pringles can and you can open any jar. We’re a match made in heaven.”
Azriel slowly smiled at her.
“I’d have to agree.” He turned back to his breakfast, smiling into his next bite.
Conversation flowed easily after that. They talked about how Elain worked with a local florist and would love to open up her own shop one day and how she’d also worked on her social media brand online, which explained her odd working hours. Azriel talked about how he had known Cassian since they were children and that she’d meet their other friend Rhysand on Saturday — and he even mentioned the fact that Rhysand convinced his family to take Azriel and Cassian in at a young age and how the three of them were closer than brothers. Elain mentioned her two sisters, whom she loved more than life itself, so Azriel extended them an invitation to his gathering on Saturday which caused Elain’s world to instantly brighten.
“Thank you again,” Elain said as they stood by her door hours later, her hands clasped behind her back as she peered up at Azriel. “I’m sure my sisters are going to be thrilled. We never get to do anything together anymore.”
Azriel’s dark brows pulled together.
“Why’s that?” He asked.
“Graysen doesn’t really like them,” Elain explained and Azriel couldn’t stop the scowl on his face. “Anyway,” Elain pushed on before he could comment. “Thanks again for stopping by.”
Azriel raised a brow at her and said, “I ate most of your breakfast and you’re thanking me?” It’s true. Azriel went back for seconds. And thirds. But Elain smiled as she watched him enjoy her food.
“You saved me from leftovers. I have bad habits when it comes to breakfast food. I love it too much.”
“Yeah,” Azriel said, leaning in conspiratorially, “I’m like that with baked goods.”
Elain grinned widely at him.
“Those are my specialty…I’ll have to bring something on Saturday.” She bit her lip to try and stifle her smile.
“I can’t wait.” Azriel said, grinning.
They stood there grinning at each other, neither one of them moving to open the door. Both of them ignoring the still-empty measuring cup that Azriel had brought over.
“I meant what I said the other day,” Azriel said, tilting his head at her. “You can come over to my place any time.”
“I am curious to see what it looks like.” Elain admitted.
“You can come over now. I —” An alarm bursted through the air, coming from the phone tucked inside of his back pocket. Azriel sighed, his body deflating. “My shift starts in 40 minutes.”
Elain couldn’t stop the wave of disappointment that swam through her.
“Some other time than.” She mumbled.
“Some other time,” Azriel agreed and pressed his lips into her soft, plump cheek before he could stop himself. “I’ll see you later, Elain.” He said, his breath tickling her overly-sensitive skin.
“Bye.” Elain said breathlessly, watching him leave with wide eyes.
She swayed for a moment in place before she fell against the door.
— — — —
“Are you sure about this?” Feyre asked, using her nail to clean up her lipstick in the mirror.
Elain’s entire bathroom was covered in beauty products as she and her sisters got ready to go over to Azriel’s place. Even though it was casual and there was no need for them to spend so much time on hair and make up…but the Archeron sisters liked to look good, and they liked getting ready together. Some of Elain’s most favorite memories involved them getting ready together, whether it was for prom or just to go shopping. It was when they felt the most like sisters.
“Of course.” Elain said, careful not to look at Feyre or Nesta because they could easily see right through her.
“Twenty bucks says Elain gets laid by the hot fireman by the end of the week.” Nesta said slyly, carefully coating her eyelashes in mascara. The black striking against her blue eyes. It took everything in Elain not to hip check her.
“Stop it!” Elain cried, but fighting a smile as she did it.
“How many times have you done it in your head?” Feyre asked with a cat-like grin as she fluffed her golden brown hair.
Elain pursed her lips together, not willing to give either of them the satisfaction of knowing that Elain had pictured her and Azriel together in vivid, graphic detail. She simply ignored them and reached for her favorite perfume.
“A-ha!” Nesta exclaimed, sticking the mascara wand out at her sister. “That’s sex perfume!”
“It is not!” Elain laughed as she sprayed her neck. And hair. And wrists. “I just felt like this one today.” She brushed off the fact that it was her most seductive scent.
“Mmhmm,” Feyre sounded, not hiding her smile. “And then explain the sundress?”
“And the fuck-me-heels?” Nesta added on.
Her sisters smiled knowingly, almost smugly, at her.
Elain opened her mouth and closed it again, feeling oddly like a fish.
“I just want to look nice, is that a crime? And these are hardly fuck-me-heels.” Elain said and looked down at the shoes in question. “They’re wedges, so they’re casual.”
“Your nails are painted red,” Nesta said with a devious grin. “And they have straps, so you know your hot fireman will think about undoing them.”
“Please.” Elain tried to scoff and push the thought out of the room.
“She has a point,” Feyre said, nudging Elain gently with her elbow. “But it’s nice to see you all dressed up.”
“And you’re due to a good fucking,” Nesta said, finally capping the mascara. Elain started to protest but her sister continued. “Are there going to be other hot firemen at this thing?”
“Probably.” Elain said with a smile.
The sisters made their way towards the door, all of them looking beautiful in their own right. Elain wore a flower-yellow sundress which she thought made her look tan and emphasized her brown eyes. Feyre was beautiful in her denim skirt and loose cream sweater. And Nesta was stunning in tight black jeans and sleek black top. Even though they goofed on Elain for her “fuck-me-heels” she chouldn’t help but notice Feyre and Nesta also wore heels. She smiled fondly as she shut the door behind them and went over to knock on Azriel’s door.
They waited all of three seconds before the door swung open and they were greeted by an exceedingly beautiful man. One that wasn’t Azriel. Or even Cassian.
His violet eyes looked at her knowingly before breezing past her and locking onto her sister. His grin grew as keen interest sharpened in his eyes. A crisp, white button down — which seemed it was perfectly tailored to his body — was tucked into jeans, and Elain was certain his outfit cost a small fortune.
“Hi,” Elain said, forcing herself to speak up. “I’m Elain — I live across the hall. Azriel invited us over.”
At the mention of her name, Violet Eyes snapped his attention back onto her.
“I’ve heard so much about you,” He said in an amused voice and stuck his hand out to her. “I’m Rhysand. Azriel will be pleased that you’re here,” Rhysand leaned in close, and Elain could feel Feyre leaning forwards as well, wanting to be included, while Nesta just stood back and observed. “You know he threw this entire party for you.”
“Hey, don’t fuck with her,” Azriel's familiar voice floated through the air, and Rhysand’s grin had a wicked quality as he moved out of the way to let Azriel in. “And it’s not a party.”
Rhysand rolled his eyes.
Elain felt breathless as Azriel’s hazel eyes trailed up and down her body, his eyes catching on the part of her leg that touched the hem of her sundress.
“Hi.” Elain said softly as her eyes connected with Azriel’s.
A slow grin unfurled on Azriel’s lips.
“Hi.” Azriel replied, his eyes heady and smoldering.
Nesta gave a not-so-subtle clearing of her throat.
“These are my sisters,” Elain rushed out, her cheeks flaming. “Nesta,” Elain nodded her head. “And Feyre.”
“Come in,” Azriel said, sticking his hand out to Nesta and Feyre. “Nice to meet you both.”
They all found themselves crammed into the entry of Azriel’s apartment, with Elain pressed against Azriel’s side. She could feel his muscles through the thin cotton of her dress and his hand naturally settled on her hip.
“Do you guys want a drink?” Azriel asked, his mouth close to her ear. “We’ve got beer, wine, and something Cassian made called ‘jungle juice’ which Rhys and I haven’t been brave enough to try.”
Nesta let out an amused scoff.
“Is this a frat party?” Nesta asked, a hair too mockingly, but after certain looks from Feyre and Elain, Nesta shrugged and said, “I like frat parties. It’s the only place we can do body shots in public.”
Rhysand and Azriel both chuckled at that and shared a look.
“Come inside.” Azriel said, gently pushing Elain by the small of her back.
It thrilled her to be touched by him and the fact that it felt so natural and comfortable almost squashed the hair of guilt she felt worming inside of her.
Azriel wasted no time getting her alone — she barely counted the number of people that filled his living room before he got her into the kitchen which was overflowing with coolers and snack foods.
“We’re grilling burgers and hot dogs later, but I have some chicken if you’d prefer that — there’s not enough for everyone, but I can grill it just for you. Or Mor brought some pasta salad and I think there’s humus out there if you don’t eat meat. You do —”
“I’ve never heard Azriel talk this much in my life.” Cassian’s familiar voice came from behind Azriel’s irritated form.
Cassian joined them and slapped Azriel on the back.
“Elain, you’re looking stunning as ever.” Cassian said with a smile. Elain could tell that whatever interest he may have had in her fizzled out (thankfully) and he only flirted with her to get a reaction out of Azriel.
“Thanks Cassian.”
“Can we help you?” Azriel asked him irritably, and Elain was entirely too affected by the fact that he wanted to have her completely alone.
“Just getting Nesta some of my famous punch.” Cassian said, entirely too flippantly. Elain had only known him for a short amount of time, but “flip” and “Cassian” didn’t mesh together.
Azriel grinned at that, his annoyance bleeding away.
“Trying to get her drunk already?” Azriel teased and Cassian cheeks turned pink.
“Dude,” Cassian started, looking at Azriel with wide eyes as he grabbed a red plastic cup. “She actually dared me to do a shot off of her —” Azriel kicked him and nodded his head towards Elain. Cassian shot her a pained look. “Sorry Lainy.”
Elain waved him off and said, “My selective hearing is one of my best qualities.”
Cassian grinned at her, but Azriel took a step closer to her and leaned against the counter and Elain felt herself being pulled into his side by some magnetic force. Cassian kept talking, but Elain wasn’t entirely sure what about because she kept imagining Azriel putting his arm over her shoulder — and was her mind playing tricks on her, or was he gripping the counter to stop from reaching for her. If he did put his arm around her shoulder, then would he pull her in close? Would he massage the back of her neck or place his fingers in her hair? He was so close that Elain could smell his aftershave and Elain fought herself from taking a long, deep inhale.
Suddenly, Elain was hit by the weight of her crush.
She felt like she was back in high school with the giddy butterflies swarming her stomach.
“So what does she like?” Cassian’s voice finally broke through, or maybe it was the fact that Azriel kindly nudged her with his elbow.
“Huh?” Elain asked, a bit dazed from where her thoughts were taking her.
Cassian grinned at her, as if knowing exactly what she was thinking.
“Nesta,” Cassian confirmed, not commenting on how spacey Elain was being. “What does she like?”
Elain thought for a second, tossing and turning ideas over in her mind.
“Her bark is worse than her bite,” Elain said softly. “And she can be a bit prickly if someone gets too close, but she really just wants someone to like her for who she is. Someone that doesn't back down. And someone who makes her laugh.”
Cassian nodded, a drink in each hand, and Elain knew he was taking what she said to heart.
“Thanks,” Cassian said with a kind smile — which quickly turned more devious. “I’ll get of your hair before Azriel kills me like I know he wants to. He was so cute, planning this thing all week and getting pissy when we called it a ‘party’ and —”
“Alright,” Azriel said, pushing off of the counter and steering Cassian out of the kitchen with by his shoulders “Time to fuck off.”
Cassian threw his head back in a laugh, his curls flying, but he didn’t put up a fight as Azriel forced him out of the room.
When they were alone again Azriel finally turned around to face her and Elain couldn’t stop the smile that bloomed on her lips.
“I have a question,” Elain said as Azriel made his way back to her, his strong arms crossed over his chest. “Did you really do this for me?” Elain asked, her voice slightly too breathy.
Azriel moved in closer.
His nose just a hair's breadth away from her.
“Elain, I’ve lived here for four years and never had more than four other people here at a time, but now I’ve called every friend of a friend I could think of just as a cover so no one would think twice about me inviting the beautiful girl next door into my place. I even have a fucking beyond burger on deck just incase you don’t eat meat. Cassian had to talk me out of buying flowers for tonight but…” Elain couldn’t breathe. Azriel took a step away from her and opened the fridge and Elain saw a beautiful bouquet of tulips. “But Rhysand said to just give them to you tomorrow.”
“You got me tulips?” Elain asked, the air in the room turned hot and humid and thick.
“You said they were your favorite.” Azriel said, looking slightly confused.
“And you remembered.” Elain felt her face crumbling.
Graysen always got her roses. She was always grateful because it was a nice gesture, but she told herself that it was nice enough to get flowers and she shouldn’t be so picky…but it had taken Azriel an entire week to get her a bouquet of her favorite flowers. It wasn’t asking for too much to want something, and in all of two seconds Elain realized just how little she had been settling for.
“I just thought you’d like them.” Azriel shrugged and brushed a stray wavy lock out of his face.
“I love them. I —” She was about to say that she was going to break up with Graysen. Because she was going to at the first chance she got. She was tired of settling for the merest hint of attention and every scrap of affection that he bothered to throw at her. And it was so incredibly important to her that Azriel know that she’s going to end her relationship.
“Elain?”
Invisible ice slid down her back as she looked behind Azriel to see Graysen standing in the doorway, his eyes bouncing back between Elain and Azriel. An accusatory look in his eyes, one that wasn’t unfounded, but was thankfully left unspoken.
Azriel simply nodded to Graysen and closed the refrigerator door.
“Hey,” Graysen said to Azriel and walked over to Elain, interlocking his fingers with hers. “Thanks for inviting us.”
Azriel leaned against the closed refrigerator door and crossed his arms.
Elain wondered if this was something to cry about.
— — — —
She had no idea how she made it through the party, but she did. A broken heart heavy in her chest as she smiled her way through polite conversation — she felt awful watching Graysen chat and talk and be friendly knowing she was going to end what was between them. Every time he locked eyes with her he looked a bit confused and he asked if she wanted to leave about three times, but she kept saying no, not wanting to cause any type of suspicion.
They didn’t leave until almost midnight, and even then there were still people loafing around, but she had completely lost track of Feyre and Nesta. Azriel was backed into a corner by some blonde and Elain avoided the way he was desperately trying to seek her eyes as she left.
As soon as Elain closed the door to her apartment she watched as Graysen flopped onto her couch and kicked his feet onto the coffee table.
“Thank fuck that’s over.” Graysen groaned, letting his head fall back onto the couch.
“Graysen.” Elain said, unable to keep the crack out of her voice.
His body tensed as he opened his eyes, and Elain knew that he knew.
He sat up and placed his feet firmly on the ground and clasped his hands together between his knees.
“Did you fuck him?” Graysen asked, a quiet anger in his voice.
“No,” Elain said emphatically, walking over to him. “Of course not?”
“But you thought about it?” Graysen asked, his voice tight like a spring wound too far.
“I —” Elain couldn’t bring herself to lie about it, she just stood there with her hands limply at her sides.
“Fuck.” Graysen exclaimed, launching the vase of flowers on the table across the room with the flat of his hand.
Elain couldn’t help the shriek that escaped her — out of surprise more than anything else.
“I knew from the way he fucking looked at you, and the way you looked at him…I haven’t seen that look in your eyes since…well, since you looked at me for the first time.” Graysen sounded hurt and defeated and angry and Elain felt about two inches tall.
A heavy thumping came from her door followed quickly by Azriel’s voice calling out for her name.
“Great,” Graysen said, standing and gripping his hair. “Fucking great we can’t even break up without him being here.”
Graysen took a step towards the door, but Elain held out a hand to stop him and rushed towards the door in case he made a charge for it.
Elain cracked open the door to see a worried and concerned Azriel.
“Are you ok?” Azriel asked, his eyes looking her over from top to bottom to make sure she wasn’t harmed. “I heard you scream.”
“I’m fine,” Elain assured him and forced a smile. “Just, um, surprised. But I’m ok. I promise.”
Azriel’s intense hazel eyes looked behind her, zeroing in on Graysen, and Elain watched as a dark cloud descended on his face.
“We’ll talk tomorrow?” Azriel asked and Elain nodded, quickly shutting the door.
Elain turned around and rested her back against the door.
“At least you’ll be in good hands.” Graysen said bitterly, walking towards the door.
“Grayen,” Elain pleaded, staring up at him. “Don’t end it like this.”
He smiled cruelly at her and said, “You’re the one that ended it.”
He didn’t push her out of the way necessarily, but he definitely pushed past her.
For some reason, Elain followed him into the hall, it seemed like the polite thing to do. Like she was sad to see him go — and she was sad. She wasn’t sure if she was sad Graysen was leaving or sad that she spent so much of her life with him and now he was going to be nothing more than a memory.
“Oh great, you’re here,” Graysen said, almost laughing in absurdity. “Of course you’re still here.”
Azriel’s eyes didn’t move from Graysen, carefully tracking his every move.
“You didn’t have to stay.” Elain said, melting a bit at the gesture.
“I wanted to.” Azriel said, his face and voice utterly neutral, making it clear that he didn't want to escalate anything.
Elain watched the muscle popping in Graysen’s jaw, and he took one step at Azriel before turning and storming down the hall.
“She’s not worth it.” Graysen muttered before turning the corner.
Elain and Azriel stood in a heavy silence, broken only by two drunken party goers leaving Azriel’s apartment and he nodded goodbye to them as they stumbled down the hallway.
“We broke up,” Elain blurted out as soon as they were alone again. “I broke up with him,” Azriel nodded, his eyes wide as he processed what Elain said. More drunken revelry was happening in Azriel’s apartment and before they could be interrupted again Elain motioned to her apartment. “Want to come in?”
Azriel nodded and followed her inside. His eyes immediately took in the broken glass, water, and limp flowers on the floor.
“The scream?” Azriel asked with a raised eyebrow and Elain nodded shyly.
“I was surprised.” Elain said, about to spring into action to clean up the mess, but Azriel was already kneeling down and picking up the shards of glass.
“Don’t cut yourself,” Elain rushed around getting the dustpan and trashcan before kneeling next to him. “You don’t have to do this, Azriel.”
She swept up some of the glittering pieces of glass and Azriel dumped a handful of them in the trash can.
“I want to help you, Elain,” Azriel said meaningfully, and Elain felt two hot, salty tears slide down her face. “In any way I can.”
“Thank you,” Elain said, clearing her throat and clearing it again because somehow it became harder to breathe. “Thanks.”
“You don’t have to thank me, Elain.” Azriel said softly, picking up the last few large pieces of glass. After a quiet pause he softly asked, “What happened?”
Elain couldn’t look him in the eyes as she wondered how to answer him.
“You,” She said as she swept a sad-looking rose into the dustpan. “Your tulips. I just — I realized how much our relationship was over, you know? How empty it actually was. I just couldn’t pretend anymore.”
Elain swept up the last of the damage before finally looking Azriel in the eye.
“You remembered I liked tulips,” Elain said with a shrug. “He never did.”
“He’s a fucking idiot.” Azriel said gruffly.
Elain shrugged and was about to say something in response — she wasn’t sure what, but somebody hollered for Azriel out in the hall.
“Are you ok?” Azriel asked, standing. Outstretching a hand to Elain to help her stand.
“I’ll be fine.” Elain said, forcing a smile. A smile that melted into a very real one before Azriel placed a kiss on the back of her hand.
Azriel’s name was called again and he begrudgingly left her apartment.
Elain took a shower and tried not to think too much about what the hell happened, and listened to music that both helped her wallow in her sadness and made her feel a little less alone and eventually she managed to fall asleep. Before she slipped into her dreams she remembered the plate of cookies she made especially for Azriel, wanting to hold off until the party was over to give them to him.
When she woke up the next morning, it was to Azriel knocking at her door holding a bouquet of tulips and a little shot of espresso.

FEB05: Holding Hands
“Bloody hell,” his familiar voice purred at you, “Look at those gorgeous melons, love. They look so sweet.”
You saw John’s sharp teeth flash in a hungry smile as he admired your shopping bag full of honeydew melons. He was just getting home from the gym, it seemed. You watched him drop his duffel bag in his front entry before turning back to talk to you. You smiled back,
“Yeah, they were on sale. Nice and big, aren’t they?”
“Sale, huh? Guess I’m shopping at the wrong stores,” John lamented, reaching for one of the round fruits through your mesh bag, using his huge hand to gently squeeze it, checking for ripeness.
“Well,” you admitted, “I forgot to grab a rotisserie chicken before I left, so I need to make a return trip anyway. Do you want to join me?”
“Alright,” he nodded, “You need help putting those away?”
You didn’t really need help, but having him in your apartment was getting to be addicting. It had started with tea. He’d been worried about you being down about your ex, even though you had been quick to recover. You milked it a little, just for the crumbs of attention you could get from John Price. This wasn’t the first time he had helped you with your groceries, and you realized that since you’d been hanging out with him so much, your neighbor knew your kitchen better than you did. He even replaced the trash can liner when he emptied it out for you.
“Oh, John! You don’t have to do that,” you tried to stop him.
“No trouble, love. You finish up, and I’ll take this out. Meet you downstairs?”
You rushed a bit, wanting to join him as quickly as possible, and grabbed your keys before meeting him in the lower landing. He beamed up at you when he saw you round the corner on the banister, and you tried your best not to look nervous.
“There she is. Ready?” He held open the door for you and followed you out onto the street.
“Sure,” you pointed across the road to the park entrance, “I usually go through here. Shortcut.”
“Lead the way,” he grinned, and to your surprise, he took your hand in his.
Your mind skipped a beat. You thought that maybe he was just being careful to cross the road, as if you were a child, but no. He kept your hand nestled in his, warming your palm, petting the backs of your fingers with his thumb tenderly as you walked.
He was asking you about work and telling you about his new favorite machine at the gym, and you were trying your best to listen, but all you could think about were how strong his fingers were as they gripped you. You imagined him grabbing you with his hands anywhere else on your body and it made you tremble to think about.
If he held you around your waist, those hands of his would clutch the soft, sensitive skin of your hips.
If he grabbed you around your thigh, his palm would heat your flesh, squeezing against the muscles there.
If he held your breasts, using those enormous fingers to pinch and tease your pretty nipples…
“Is that the one?” His voice snapped you back from your daydream.
John was pointing up at the little bodega you’d been shopping at. It was small, but they had the best produce in the whole city. You nodded,
“Yep, that’s the one.”
“I’ve been wanting to check it out.”
You followed him through the aisles, showing him all your best buys, insisting on some and relenting on others. He took your advice, and he even talked to you about a few recipes he’d been wanting to try, suggesting you might come over and cook with him. You thought about it, being in his kitchen, working together over his hot stove, eating out of the palm of his hand…
“Can’t believe we got all this for under a hundred bucks. You were right. This place is the best,” he was beaming, struggling to carry his haul all by himself.
“Here,” you offered, “Let me take these for you.”
You grabbed two of his bags so he could redistribute the weight.
By the time you made it back home, you’d finally recovered from the feeling of his hands against yours, and you were left wondering if that was just a one-time thing. It was your turn to offer to help him put all of his products up in his pantry, and although he initially said yes, what actually happened was that he sat you at the counter with a warm tea and handled the groceries himself while you chatted, sharing little bites of the snacks he’d acquired as he put them away.
“Thanks for taking me with you, love. I don’t think I’ll be shopping anywhere else,” he smiled, wiping down his countertops.
“No problem. What are friends for?” You said, off-handedly.
“Friends, huh?” He leaned his huge forearms against the counter in front of you as he stood next to your stool and gave you a look, “I was hoping I wasn’t the only one feeling sparks when you held my hand earlier, but I guess that’s just me wishful thinking again.”
You stared up at him, in the quiet stillness of his kitchen, trying to breathe. He noticed your nervousness, and he continued with a sly grin,
“Unless…”
He took one of his fingers and pet the back of your hand with his knuckles, lifting up your forefinger and cradling it with his ever so gently. His touch was so light, it felt like he wasn’t even touching you, like you were dreaming it.
“No,” you admitted, “I liked it. Holding your hand.”
He raised his eyebrows as if he were surprised. Then, John threaded his fingers through yours and listened to you sigh at his obvious affection, groaning a bit before he said,
“Mm. Yeah, love. Me, too.”

"Bucky!" Your voice echoes in the empty hallway.
The super soldier looks like he is going to ignore your call but halts after a few seconds. He turns around, eyes wide open in innocence.
"I didn't do anything..." he mumbles softly. "I gotta go."
He turns around once again and starts walking to his room, his steps rushed.
"Wait!" You run in front of him. When he doesn't stop, you walk backwards, keeping him in your sight. "Where were you? We were supposed to have lunch together?"
"Crap," he sighs. "I'm so sorry doll. I got held up and forgot."
"It's ok. I saved you a plate. Why don't you come with me then you can eat it?"
"I, uh... can't."
"Why? What's wrong?"
His eyes don't meet yours. "I just don't feel well. I gotta go."
He sidesteps you when a strange sound comes from his zipped-up hoodie.
"Bucky, what was that?" You run after him, his strange behaviour making you suspicious.
"It's nothing." When he sees you don't believe him he rubs his forehead in apprehension. "Uh, it was my stomach."
"Bucky, for a spy, you suck at lying to me."
When another sound is made, you realize it kind of sounds like a meow. When your eyes widen in shock, he firmly pulls you into his room and locks the door.
"Please, don't tell anyone." His eyes beg you, the blue seeming to hypnotize you until he carefully zips down his hoodie and pulls out an ivory-white ball of fluff, and holds it in his hands. The ball of fluff meows and turns to look at you. You gasp when bright blue eyes meet yours, the kitten seeming tiny in Bucky's large hands.
"I know we're not allowed to have pets. Trust me, I didn't plan on getting one. She just happened."
"She? It's a girl? Are you sure?" You move closer to him, reaching out slowly and rubbing the little cat's head and ears, making her purr softly.
"Yeah, I had to take her to a vet. He confirmed it." Bucky shifts his hold and that's when you see it. A small pink cast is on the kitten's back leg, along with a bandage on her small tummy. You can't stop gasping. Something bad had to happen to the little girl.
"What happened to her?" You ask Bucky as you both move to sit on his couch. From his hoodie, he pulls out a small bag and puts it on the table next to him.
"Humans happened to her. I was on my jog when I saw this car speed into an alley. He threw a box into the dumpster and just sped off. At first, I just thought he was a prick that needed to throw away some trash. But then I heard a faint noise. The closer I got to the dumpster the more I could hear. The box he had thrown away? It had her in it, all bleeding and crying for help. I couldn't just leave her there. So I took her to the vet to be patched up. Thought maybe they would be able to look after her, but since it's the holidays, they are full. So I had to bring her home."
You can't help but tear up at the thought of what the little kitten had gone through. "People like that should never be able to have pets, ever. They should cut something off too, just to remind him what he's done."
Bucky chuckles next to you but his eyes are dark with anger. "If I get my hands on him, he'll be lucky to make it out with his life. People that abuse animals belong in the ninth circle of hell."
"That's for sure." When she cries out loudly, you both startle. "She must be hungry. Did the vet say what to feed her?"
"Yeah, he said I have to give her this formula for now." He picks up the bag and shows it to you. "He says she's almost 4 weeks old, but since she's a bit malnourished, I need to feed her a little bit every 3 hours. I need to gradually begin to increase the time between feedings before I start introducing wet foods too."
When she cries again you both chuckle at how cute she is. "Guess it's feeding time," he smirks at you as he stands up and walks to his small kitchenette. "Do you want to hold her?"
You almost squeal in delight, your smile lighting up the room. "Yes, please!"
Bucky decides to call the kitten Alpine, due to her snowy colour. You completely agree with him, the name fitting her like a glove.
The two of you work together to feed Alpine before you offer to go out and buy toys and kitty litter for her, secretly hiding it beneath bags of clothes.
When you come back, the two of you set up her supplies and settle in for a long evening of watching movies and feeding the cutest cat in the world.
Tumblr media
You wake up to warmth beneath you and a small pressure on your lower back.
You moan softly, feeling safe and peaceful when a gentle touch runs down your side. Your eyes blink open in surprise and find blue eyes smiling up at you.
"Bucky, I-" you move to get off the big supersoldier but he stops you by grasping your shoulders gently.
"Easy doll, Alpine's going to fly off you if you get up. She's laying on your back."
"Oh," your eyes widen at the situation you find yourself in. You're laying on your stomach, your head on Bucky's shoulder as he lays beneath you. Your stomach to his chest, legs intertwined with a sleeping kitten on the small of your back.
You've never been this close to Bucky before, seeing for the first time the sprinkle of tiny freckles on his face, his full lips and perfect white teeth open in a smile. Why is he smiling?
Your cheeks burn in humiliation as you realise you've been staring at him and he's noticed.
Before you can apologise, he's talking, voice a little hoarse. "I'll lift Alpine then you can climb off. Just give me a second. I'll try not to wake her..."
"Ok," you whisper, eyes unable to meet him. When his arms creep up your sides, you have to hold in a moan that threatens to burst out of you at his touch. The man you had a crush on for months was touching you, but not in the way you wanted him to.
You pretty much hold your breath when his biceps sandwich you on both sides as he gently scoops up the sleeping kitten in his hands then holds them high in the air as you wiggle out from above him.
When he whimpers you look up at him but his eyes are the epitome of innocence so you must have imagined it. There was no way he liked you too, you weren't so lucky.
His muscles ripple beneath his shirt as he slowly stands up and walks to the new cat bed you had bought earlier, softly laying Alpine down as she continues sleeping.
When Bucky straightens and your eyes meet, you can't help but smile at how gentle he is. A lot of people think he's a miscreant, a bad man born from years of fighting, but he is the sweetest, kindest man that you have ever met. And Bucky holding a small kitten in his hands, so gently like she was made of glass? It just made you love him more.
The heavy look between the two of you is broken when someone knocks on his door.
"Bucky? It's me," Steve's voice calls out from the door. You freeze, not knowing what to do. You quickly duck down next to the sleeping Alpine, hidden from view by the couch.
You hear Bucky walk to the door and crack it open slightly.
"Hey, what's up?" Bucky asks casually, making you smile at his words. He's definitely picked up some slang since he joined the Avengers.
"Hi, Buck. Is Y/N here with you?"
"Uh, no she's not here. Why would she be?"
"Well Buck, unless you started wearing her perfume then I'm guessing she's here." You can hear the smirk in Steve's voice.
You take a deep breath and rise from your position behind the couch. "Hi Steve," you say with a small wave.
"She was...uh...helping me with something," Bucky says to Steve, arms crossed in discomfort.
"I bet she was." Steve's grinning like an idiot, his eyes twinkling with laughter.
"Tony needs your help on a project," Steve says to you as he looks around the room once again. "Are we going on our run?" He asks a brooding Bucky.
When it seems like Bucky is going to object, he quickly continues, "We'll be quick Buck. Thirty minutes tops."
Bucky sighs but relents. "Fine. Give me ten minutes then I'll meet you downstairs."
Steve winks at you as he exits, gleaming.
Finally, you and Bucky are alone again, neither of you knowing what to say.
The silence is broken by a small cry, Alpine letting the two of you know it is feeding time.
"You go doll. I'll quickly feed her then meet Steve and come back as soon as possible. Hopefully, she'll sleep while we're away." He smiles at you, his blue eyes twinkling with some emotion that you can't place.
"Ok, I'll try and be quick too, but with Tony, you never know. See you soon," you add as you exit the room.
Tumblr media
A little more than half an hour later, you're back in Bucky's room, calling out softly but no one answers. Thinking he's not back yet, you enter his bedroom in search of Alpine.
She's on his large bed, napping peacefully when the bathroom door opens and Bucky walks out in what appears to be the tiniest towel that he owns.
"Oh, hey doll. Didn't know you were back yet. I just forgot to grab my clothes."
"Uh-huh." You nod automatically, eyes focused on the beautiful man in front of you. His sculpted chest is the first thing you see, his muscles so much bigger up close. In the corner of your eye, you notice his scarred shoulder where it meets his metal arm, but you gaze away quickly, knowing it makes him uncomfortable when people stare at it.
Your eyes focus on a bead of water in the centre of his chest, slowly rolling down his sternum and between his well-defined abs, the ridges causing the drop to roll slower and slower until it reaches the edge of the towel he's holding in a clenched fist.
When he clears his throat, you snap out of the trance his amazing body seduced you into. Cheeks on fire, you glance up at him, seeing a confused smile on his face.
"You alright doll?" His voice is rough, husky even.
You bring an unsteady hand to your beating heart, hoping he won't hear how hard it's pounding. Eyes wide, you stare at him. How long had you been ogling him? Before your treacherous eyes could dip down again, you take a small step back.
"Me? Oh, fine." Your hands clench together as you do your best to concentrate on your words. "The, uh, cat... Yeah, I need to feed..." Crap, your eyes move down on their own, this time noticing just how large his right arm is, the muscles bulging as he holds onto his small towel.
"You need to feed... the cat?" He's smirking now, his blue eyes shining in the morning sun.
Focus! "Uh huh," you mumble before turning around and starting to walk out of the room. It takes you a second to realise you forgot one crucial element to your plan as you spin around again and pick up Alpine before shutting the bedroom door behind you.
You catch your breath as you lean against the door, Alpine reaching up with her small paws and rubbing her head against your chest in comfort. "Oh, Alpine. My mind went completely haywire in there."
The second you said the words, anxiety fills you once again as you pray that Bucky didn't hear you speaking to Alpine. Having a super soldier as a friend was sometimes very tricky...
Tumblr media
When the bedroom door opens, you're busy playing with Alpine, making her run after a feather tied to a string. You feel his eyes on you but you do your best to avoid looking at him. He watches the two of you for a moment before his voice fills the room, his body moving towards the door.
"Um, I'll go get us some food. You must be hungry?"
"Thanks, Bucky. That will be nice." You look up at him and give him a quick smile before moving your attention back to Alpine.
"Ok, I'll be right back, you two." He says as he opens the door then stops instantly, seeing Steve standing outside.
"Uh, hey Stevie. I'm gonna go get some food, you want to join?" He mumbles quickly, trying to distract Steve from what he had said earlier.
"You two?" Steve's eyes are wide open, a look of astonishment on his face. "Please tell me you don't have two women in there?" Before Bucky can say anything he continues. "You've always been kinky, but two at the same time? Maybe you should see-"
"Steve!" Bucky shouts, breaking Steve's tirade. You watch the exchange, too stunned to do anything. Steve is instantly silent until a loud meow comes from in front of you.
Bucky sighs as Steve pushes through the door and drops down next to you. "Why is there a cat in here?" He whispers to you.
"Bucky rescued her. The ass that had her decided he didn't want a cat anymore and threw her out like trash. Bucky saved her and brought her here." You inform him as he sits cross-legged on the floor.
"I know we're not supposed to have pets, but I couldn't just leave her. And the shelters are all full." Bucky joins the two of you on the floor and smiles as Alpine rubs her head on his knee before moving to Steve slowly.
The kitten looks up at him before slowly moving closer as Steve extends his hand, giving her a chance to sniff him before she rubs her side on his stretched fingers.
"Hi sweetheart," Steve says as Alpine climbs into his lap slowly, the cast on her leg making her slow. "She was injured then?"
"Yeah, I took her to the vet before I bought her here. I swear if I ever see that-" Bucky clenches his jaw so hard, you're afraid he'll break something. You reach out and hold his hand, showing him you understand. "I'll throw him out like the trash he truly is. Except he won't be alive when I do." He huffs out.
"You've always had a soft spot for animals, glad that hasn't changed Buck." He scratches Alpine's head before he starts giggling. "So, technically, I was right. You do have two women in your room. One's just a feline."
"Yeah, we all know what you were thinking Steve. So much for Captain America being a gentleman."
"Haha, I am a gentleman. I just never said I was innocent. And neither is he. I know him, he's still kinky. There was this one time one of his dates asked him to-"
"Steve!" Bucky whisper-shouts. Steve just winks at you in reply. Just what did she ask Bucky, you ponder.
Bucky blushes when his eyes meet yours for a second.
"Why don't you leave me with the cat and you two go grab some food? The others are becoming suspicious of your absence." Steve says as he strokes Alpine softly.
You and Bucky glance at each other and nod in agreement.
"Her name is Alpine," Bucky says on the way out. "She's been fed, so just keep her company. Thanks, Steve."
"And please don't tell anyone about her, she's our little secret," you add on the way out.
Tumblr media
Bucky's making his way to the kitchen when you pull him to the side. If your hand stayed on his arm a few seconds too long, you chose to ignore it.
"Um, maybe I should go in first, then you follow in a few minutes? Or do you go in first? If they see us entering together..." your voice trails off, the implication of your words clear to him as his eyes widen and his breath catches.
"Uh, yeah sure. You don't want to give them the wrong impression." His jaw clenches for a second, eyes turned down before he continues. "Maybe I'll check if Sam is still in his room first." He turns around and starts walking in the opposite direction, his sudden departure astounding you. Just what was his issue now?
Tumblr media
He and Sam enter the kitchen a few minutes later, his gaze fixed on the plate of food he fills.
"So Bucky, haven't seen you around today," Natasha says in a sultry voice. You know she's with Steve, but you can't help your hackles rising at her tone. Were you jealous?
He glances at the two of you swiftly before focusing on his food again. "Yeah, I've been busy."
"Very interesting... Y/N's also been busy today."
"Well Nat," your voice is full of irritation, "we are Avengers. So we should all be pretty busy, don't you think?"
The beautiful redhead just looks at you before bursting out laughing. After a few seconds, you can't help but join her.
Sam and Bucky just look at the two of you in confusion.
"That was good honey," Nat says between giggles as you continue eating.
By the time lunch is done, Bruce and Tony had made an appearance too.
You were just grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge when Bucky approached you,  the others having left earlier.
"Doll, I gotta ask," Bucky says as he bites his lower lip, "Before when you said I make your brain go haywire... did you mean that in a good way or in a bad way? I know I can be a lot to handle sometimes..."
You suck in a deep breath, your heart racing. So he did hear you earlier. You start to deny it when you see the look in his eyes. Did he really think you could ever think anything bad of him?
"Oh, um. I had hoped you wouldn't hear that." He's standing close so you have to tilt your head up to look him in the eyes. "But I meant it in a good way." When he doesn't seem to believe you, you continue. "Bucky, you were standing in front of me with just a tiny towel on, of course, I meant it in a good way. You know you're attractive..."
Blue eyes light up as he smirks at you. "So you think I'm attractive huh? So when can I see you in just a tiny towel? To even the odds?"
"Keep dreaming big guy," you reply as you gently punch him on the shoulder.
The two of you giggle together before Bucky looks at you with adoration in his eyes.
"Maybe I will..."
When you don't answer he clears his throat softly.
"Um... hypothetically, if I stopped being a wuss," he swallows hard, "and I asked you out on a date, what would your answer be?"
Some part of you wants to tease him and make him suffer, but you don't. "Hypothetically, if you asked, I would say yes. Definitely yes."
"Yeah?" His smile is huge, making the corners of his eyes crinkle.
Sam appears in front of the two of you, trying to reach for the fridge.
"Sam, not now!" Bucky groans at the man, lightly pushing him away.
"But I want a cupcake!" Brown eyes cry out.
"You just had lunch! You'll get indigestion! Now buzz off!" Bucky forces him to turn around and pushes him forward, making Sam huff in frustration.
When Bucky looks at you expectantly, you simply nod in answer. "Yeah, Bucky. But you still have to ask me," you tease him.
"You little minx! Fine." He takes a deep breath, "Will you go on a date with me? Tonight if you're free?"
"Of course Bucky." Your smile drops, making Bucky anxious. "But who's going to look after Alpine? Can we ask Steve?"
"Yeah, he and Natasha can look after Alpine."
You stare at Bucky, trying to understand him. "Nat and Steve?" You inquire.
Bucky snorts in reply. "There's no way that punk hasn't already told his lady about Alpine. The fact that he's dating a spy hasn't helped him be able to keep secrets. Not from Natasha."
"Are you sure of that? I think we should give Steve the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure he can keep Alpine secret for a while..."
"You wanna bet doll? $100 says she already knows."
"Sure, but let's make it interesting. Let's see," you tap your index finger on your chin, "if I win, you have to... take me shopping."
Bucky groans in defeat. You know he hates going shopping. "And if I win? What do I get?"
You eye him up and down, "What do you want?"
The corner of his lip lifts in a half smile. "You really shouldn't be asking me that."
"Keep it PG, Bucky!" You say as you tap his shoulder.
"Fine," Bucky lifts his hands in defeat. "If I win, you have to kiss me."
"Deal!" You're way too fast in your answer, making Bucky laugh. "Come on, let's see who wins!" You hook your hand into his elbow as the two of you make your way to his room.
Tumblr media
Steve's guilty look is the first thing you see when you enter the room. Natasha is lying on her stomach next to him, running her finger on the floor, laughing as Alpine chases after it.
"Steve! How could you?" You cry out in mocking anger. "I defended you, yet you caved so easily?"
"Sorry! I tried but she saw right through me!"
"See doll? I've known him forever, he's a weakling!"
"Hey!"
"Well, it's true isn't it Steve? You lasted like, what, two minutes?"
"Five," Natasha giggles next to him. "Good thing I like that he can't keep secrets from me."
Bucky's eyes are beaming with the promise of your kiss. "So, when do I get my reward?"
You grab his shirt and pull him down to you, clasping your hands around his neck. You lean in closer, your breath mixing with his, before you lean to the side and kiss him on his cheek.
You're giggling as you pull back, a look of astonishment on his face. "Hey, that's cheating!"
"Sorry Bucky, you never specified where the kiss had to be." You giggle as you join Nat on the floor. Your gaze fixed on Alpine stumbling around.
Bucky is smiling as he joins the small group on the floor. Alpine's movements become slower and slower before she admits defeat and climbs into Bucky's lap. A tiny white ball of fluff on Bucky's thick thighs.
"Guess it's time for a nap," Steve says as he helps Natasha up from the floor.
You know you're in trouble when Natasha's green eyes meet yours. "I think it's time we had a chat."
Bucky picks Alpine up slowly, making sure not to wake her as you, Natasha and Steve depart.
"So, what's going on with you and Bucky?" Natasha asks as soon as you are far enough away to prevent Bucky from hearing. Steve had left to get lunch.
"He asked me out on a date," your stare ahead, a big smile on your face.
"Finally! You two have been pining for each other for months! And the kiss on the cheek?"
"That was a bet. He believed Steve had already told you and I thought he would keep Alpine secret a little longer. So he won and I owed him a kiss."
"Uh-huh. Anything else happened with him? I picked up some tension between the two of you at lunch."
"Um, I might have fallen asleep with him last night. When I woke up I was lying on top of him with Alpine sleeping on my back. We had to wiggle to get up without waking her." You bite your lower lip, "Then this morning I was looking for Alpine when I kinda walked in on him getting out of the shower in a tiny towel. I swear Nat, seeing those muscles up close almost made me pass out!"
"Seems like Alpine is the perfect matchmaker! She's getting the two of you into great situations!"
Natasha is bubbling with laughter as the two of you make your way to the training room. You are eager to work off some nerves before your date.
Tumblr media
"Ok Alpine, what about if I take her to a fancy restaurant for dinner?" You hear Bucky's voice softly through the door, a small meow being the only answer.
"Yeah, you're right. It's a bit normal for a first date right? I don't want her to think I'm boring." It's quiet for a second then you hear his voice again.
"A movie?" Another meow, softer this time.
"Nope, she won't be able to sit still unless it's a very interesting movie. So what then?"
"I know, I'll -"
You knock on his door, not wanting to hear what he has planned and spoil all his fun.
You hear him say something on his way to the door, and Alpine seems to agree enthusiastically if her loud purr is an answer.
When Bucky lets you in and closes the door, you see Alpine sitting on his shoulder, nails holding onto Bucky's shirt for stability.
"Hey, doll. Watch this!" He's beaming as he takes a seat on the couch and removes Alpine from his shoulder. He puts her on the couch and wiggles his left hand. She drops down into a crouch then runs up his metal arm, her back leg struggling along, nails fitting into the grooves of his metal arm perfectly until she's back on his shoulder again, a loud purr coming from her tiny body. "Pretty soon she's going to be able to do all kinds of things. There's no stopping this lady!"
When Alpine's gaze falls on you, she meows and rubs her head against Bucky's neck then stares at you again.
Getting the picture, you move closer to the two of them and bend down to rub her adorable head. Her tail is curled around Bucky's neck as she leans forward into your touch, purring loudly in happiness.
Bucky pulls you softly forward, making you sit on his knee, his arm around the back of your waist holding you close. His smile is enchanting, a similar grin forming on your face. When he leans down closer, your breath catches. This is what you've been waiting for, a kiss from Bucky Barnes will certainly kill you with pleasure. You've barely begun to feel his lips on yours when his bedroom door shoots open, Steve's imposing figure standing in the doorway.
"We got a problem, Buck." He hastily says as he closes the door and moves closer to the three of you. You climb off Bucky's lap and sit down next to him, watching as Steve approaches.
"Wanda and Vision just came back from their mission. Wanda has a concussion so her powers are a bit wonky. Natasha and I were busy whispering about how to help you keep Alpine a secret. Wanda heard our thoughts and got so excited that you have a cat that she repeated it out loud and... Tony heard. He's on his way here now and he doesn't look very happy."
You gasp in surprise and turn to see Bucky running his hands over his face, knowing what is to come.
"Maybe we can hide her?" You begin to say but are interrupted by the knocking on the door.
"He won't believe it," Steve sighs in defeat.
"You two just stay out of it, ok? I can take whatever he throws at me. He hates me already anyways." Bucky stands and walks to the door. Alpine held onto his shirt, cuddled up into his neck.
Tony looks Bucky over, eyes hardening in anger. "Barnes, I give you food and shelter, pay you for going on missions, I take care of you even though I can't stand to see you some days. And all I asked for were a few rules to be followed. One of those rules was no pets. Am I correct in my assumption that that is a cat on your shoulder?"
Wanda, Natasha and Sam creep into the hallway, watching the scene unfold.
"Yes, Tony. I'm sorry. I found her and the shelters are full for Christmas. I didn't have anywhere for her to go."
"Well, either the cat goes now or you both go. Your choice." Tony doesn't even blink when he gives his ultimatum.
Bucky's brows drop in concern, eyes wide open. "You can't be serious Tony. Give me some time-"
"I don't care Barnes. The cat goes right now."
"Tony you can't!" You shout from the doorway, Steve behind you.
"I can do whatever I want. This is my Tower in case you've forgotten that. I'm willing to overlook your involvement in this but don't make me regret it. Any of you." He says as he faces the others.
"It's ok doll," Bucky says softly as his fingers rub your hand for a second. When he faces Tony again his jaw is clenched with anger. "I'm not going to abandon her too. Alpine and I will be out in 10 minutes."
Bucky walks into the bedroom, his meaning taking a few seconds to sink in before everyone pushes into the room, talking a huffing Tony with them.
"Bucky no," Steve calls out as Bucky grabs a bag in his room, starting to fill it with a change of clothes.
You face Tony, your anger making you shake with adrenaline. "I thought you were better than this Tony. Bucky found Alpine being thrown away like trash, her leg broken, ravenous with hunger. She's barely a month old. Now you're going to punish him for doing the right thing? For following his heart and taking care of a helpless animal? You are an asshole if you punish him for that. You're just letting your anger towards Bucky cloud your judgement. If Bucky and Alpine have to go then so will I."
"Doll don't-" Bucky starts but you interrupt him.
"No Bucky, I don't want to work for someone who hates innocent animals and would prefer to keep them on the streets. I refuse to work for anyone like that. I'm just disappointed that the mighty Tony Stark is like that." You glare at Tony, brown eyes meeting yours for just a second.
"Don't leave without me Bucky. I'll be back in five minutes." You start to walk out of the room but Tony stops you.
He stares down at you for a moment before he sighs in defeat. "Her leg's really broken?"
"Yes, it's really broken. Bucky saw a man stop in the alley and throw the box in the trash, luckily he heard her cries and rescued her. He took her to the vet and the vet fixed her up. She's a tiny kitten, Tony. If it was you who found her, would you have just left her there?"
He doesn't answer you as he turns to Bucky's bedroom. "Let me see her."
Bucky gently wraps his large hands around her tiny body, being careful of her cast before he softly puts her in Tony's outstretched hands. He watches Tony like a hawk, analysing his every move to make sure he doesn't hurt his baby kitten.
Tony brings her closer to his chest, his right hand stroking her head softly as sky-blue eyes gaze at him in appreciation. "I don't hate animals. I just can't have everyone running around with their pets. This is a dangerous place, and we can't have dozens of animals staying here. If I allow one person to have a pet, the others would want them too."
"Maybe Alpine can be the Team's cat? She already has a bond with Bucky but animals have so much love, they give it to anyone who loves them in return." You grasp Bucky's hand and give it a squeeze. "Besides, a cat has a mischievous side too, the more people who engage with her, the more fun she'd have. It'll help her stay out of trouble."
"You'd be willing to share her?" Tony asks Bucky hesitantly.
"Of course, I hate having her cooped up in my bedroom, the more she can explore, the better. Besides, this cutie needs all the love she can get. Together we can show her that not all humans are bad."
"Fine, Barnes and Alpine can stay." Tony relents, making the others cheer in response. "But I'm cuddling with her in the living room first!" Tony calls out as he walks out of the room, mumbling to Alpine that he will buy her the best of everything, including a big climbing set as soon as her leg gets better. The rest of the team follows Tony, each adding to the list of what has to be bought for the best kitten in the world.
"So Bucky, you get to stay, after all."
"Thanks to you, doll. What you said was amazing, I've never seen someone rip into Tony so easily." Unsure blue eyes meet yours. "Would you have left with me? If he hadn't changed his mind?"
"Yeah Bucky. I would have. What I said was the truth. I'd go anywhere with you."
"You're so sure I'm worth it? That I'm good?"
"Bucky, you saved a helpless kitten. You did it because you cared, not because you wanted praise or attention. Hell, you tried to keep it a secret! Anyone who cares so much about animals that they are willing to walk out on what they know just to keep them safe can't be bad. It's impossible. You're the best Bucky. And now that Alpine has a whole family to look after her, I think it's the perfect time to go on that date you owe me."
"Of course, doll. Anything you want."
"Anything?" You smirk at him, wickedness in your eyes.
"Anything," he replies as he drops his head down, hands wrapping around your waist. Your arms circle his neck as you stand on your toes to meet him, kissing him like you've wanted to for months. And he's all too happy to reciprocate.

We all know bakugou wear eyeliner so he probably knows how to do it himself but if one time he runs out of eyeliner and asked you for yours but he couldn’t do it cause yours is different type and You offered to do it for him
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS THIS BUT IT CAME TO MY MIND WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO SLEEP
“I can do your eyeliner”
Tumblr media
this idea is so cute
i literally have a playlist saved titled “doing bakugou’s eyeliner at 1:48am”
he hates liquid liner
He brushes the felt-tip over his eyelid over and over again but there’s simply nothing coming out. His eyelid is turning a soft shade of rubbed red the more pressure he applies to the eyeliner. This shit just won’t come out. At this rate, he’s about to poke his eye.
Taking the marker-like brush from his eye, he runs a few test strokes on the back of his hand. Only dry, faded streaks from the used pen stain his hand. He lets out a gruff sigh and caps the pen, tossing it into the small trash can in the bathroom.
His palms rest on the spacious counter of the sink as he stares at his reflection in the large, wall width mirror. He could always buy more but he doesn’t have the time to stop at the convenience store before his patrol. The whole eyeliner get up isn’t necessary but in his eyes, it takes his hero costume to another level, and he’s done it for ages.
He makes sure to turn off the bathroom light as he leaves and walks to your room. Not wasting a second, he brings his fist to your door and his signature three knocks rap on the wood. He places his hands on either side of his hips, his foot tapping impatiently as he waits. His feet are still clad in his slippers, contrasting with the stark display of his hero costume.
A soft shuffling can be heard behind your door just before you open it. You come face to face with Katsuki’s agitated expression. Already reading the room, you cut to the chase.
“What’s wrong?”
“Ran out of eyeliner. Thought you might have some to spare.” Giving him a quick once over you can see he’s getting ready to head out for patrol. Ahh so that’s why.
“Yeah I got some you can use. Let me grab it real quick.”
You leave the door ajar as you turn into your room and grab your makeup bag. You sort through it and grab your eyeliner before heading back to Katsuki and passing it to him. He holds it in between his thumb and index finger and examines the tube. It looks different from what he’s used before. Instead of it resembling a marker, the eyeliner is shaped like an elongated nail polish bottle. He shrugs it off though. He’s in a rush to get ready anyways.
“M’gonna use your bathroom mirror to put this on. Mine’s too far of a walk right now.”
“Have at it boss. Just don’t go crazy in there.”
“Don’t tell me what to do.” He grumbles as he pushes your bathroom door open and switches on the light. He can hear you chuckle in the other room as he unscrews the top of the bottle off. This is definitely not what he’s used before. The brush is incredibly fine and dips into the bottom of the bottle to gather the eyeliner. Liquid eyeliner. He’s never used liquid eyeliner. It always looked like too complicated of an option compared to a pen.
He contemplates calling you into the bathroom for help but decides against it. He can do this. He’s kicked villain ass plenty of times. He can surely conquer a bottle of eyeliner. Tentatively raising the applicator to his eyelid, he closes his eye and begins to paint the makeup on slowly. The thin line he makes looks a bit messy but relatively decent. He opens his eye to get a better look and all hell breaks loose.
“You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.” He sneers at his reflection, the skin just under his eyebrow is blotted with wet, black smudges. He furrows his eyebrows and the smearing just seems to get worse. “Fuckin’ hell!”
You, on the other hand, are lounging in your bed, legs stretched out as you beat another level of a game on your phone. His string of curses poke at your attention. You call out to him from your bed.
“You good in there?”
“The hell is this shit you gave me?” He yells back from the bathroom.
“You having trouble?”
“What do you think?” You pause for dramatic effect before speaking again.
“…want me to come in?”
“Do whatever you want.”
He’s always been horrible at asking for help. You hop of the bed and make your way to the bathroom regardless to see what’s going on. The door is already open and you see an angry looking Katsuki when you walk in. He’s got your micellar cleansing water and cotton pads laid out on the counter, his right hand using a soaked pad to dab away any residual black streaks from his eye. You lean a hip on the counter and grab the bottle.
“Have you ever used liquid liner before?”
“Take a wild guess.”
“Katsuki-”
“No. Now, you gonna tell me how this thing works or what?” He tosses the dirtied cotton wipe into your trash can and faces you, frown still etched on his face.
“I mean I could but don’t you have work in like, 15 minutes? I don’t think you have time to mess it up again.” His body slightly tenses and he reaches for his phone and checks the time.
“Shit…” he cuts himself off and exhales, shoulders dropping. He puts his phone back in his pocket and moves to clean up your counter.
“I could always just do it for you, y’know? It’ll be quicker since I’ve used this before.” He stops cleaning and looks over at you, left brow raised.
“Huh? What do you mean ‘do it for me?’”
“I can do your eyeliner is what I mean. I’m fast.” He squints at your proposal.
“How fast we talkin’?” A cocky grin creeps it’s way onto your face.
“Faster than you.”
“Don’t be a smartass.”
“Is that a yes?” You chide.
“Just be quick about it. I don’t got time for any extra shit.” Without wasting anymore time, you dip the applicator into the tube a few times before taking it out, cleaning the excess off on the lip of the bottle.
You get closer to his body and move the brush near his face. “I’m gonna hold down on the top of your eyelid okay? Helps make sure the line comes out cleaner.”
“Whatever. Do what you gotta do just hurry up.” And with that, you get to work. Your thumb lightly presses on the area just above the top of his left eyelid to smoothen the skin. Your other hand gently swipes the tip of the brush on his eye, a thin, clean line of black following the curve of his lash line. His lashes just barely graze the palm of your hand, each exhale he blows through his nose is warm on your forearm. The side of your hand propped on the side of his face, to steady your strokes, is flush on his cheek. You can feel the muscles under his cheekbones flex every so often as he clenches his teeth. In a matter of seconds you’re moving onto the next eye when his left cracks open.
You tap his arm. “Don’t open your eye yet.”
“Why the hell not?”
“You have to let it dry first. This isn’t a quick dry liner like you’re used to.” He grumbles in response, the low tenor echoing off the bathroom walls. You finish up his right eye and straighten up, fanning your hands in front of his face to help the drying process. After a few seconds, you deem it good enough.
“Alright, you’re good to go.” You cap the bottle and watch as Katsuki stares at himself in the mirror, a smug smirk showing off his pearly whites. It’s almost scary.
“Not half bad. Might appoint you as my stylist when I’m a pro.”
“Get the hell out of my bathroom.” He lands an unbothered stare at you and folds his arms across his well built chest, jaw tilting upward in a challenging angle.
“Make me.”
You cock up a brow. “Doesn’t your patrol start in nine minutes?”
A choked noise leaves his throat before he grabs his phone and checks the time again. His eyes widen and he all but bolts out of your bathroom, practically bulldozing through your bedroom and racing towards the front door. You laugh as you notice his slides are still on, his boots left near the door. You jog to the front door and fling it open, yelling out into the street.
“Shoes, Katsuki!”

Love Story
Dean Winchester x Female Reader
Summary: Reader gets Dean a very special birthday present.
TW: FLUFF, pre-established relationship, Dean's secret obsession with Taylor Swift, concerts, extravagant gestures.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dean's 43th birthday had been celebrated in the bunker with friends and family. Everyone had either gone home or made their way into one of the empty rooms to spend the night after the many beers and shots that were shared.
The table was covered in scattered empty pizza boxes and pie tins. Dean moved around the room, stuffing the trash into a garbage bag.
"You know, you don't have clean up after your own party," Y/N said, making her way over to him.
"Someone's gotta," Dean said, "Might as well get it out of the way before morning," He shrugged, dropping another paper plate into the bag.
"Can you take a break? I have something for you," Y/N said, pulling a white envelope from the back pocket of her jeans.
"You didn't have to get me anything, sweetheart," Dean sighed, setting down the garage bag and stepping over to her.
"You deserve it," Y/N said, holding out the envelope.
Dean took it from her hands, carefully tearing the it open and peering inside. He reached into the envelope and pulled out two shimmering tickets.
He stared down at them, thumb tracing over the surface carefully as Y/N watched him. She shifted on her feet as she tried to gauge his reaction.
"Are these real?" He asked softly, green eyes meeting with her's.
"Yeah," Y/N replied with a nervous smile.
He stepped forward, pulling her into his arms quickly. Dean held her tightly as a wide smile spread across his face, "This is amazing," He laughed.
She wrapped her arms around him, "Are you happy?" Y/N asked.
He pulled away, "Happy? Are you kidding? We're going to the Eras Tour! I'm over the freakin' moon!" Dean said.
Y/N laughed, "I left your VIP package on your bed. Go check it out while I finish up here," She said, tilting her head towards the messy table.
"Baby, you are- you are awesome," Dean said, cupping her cheeks and pressing his lips to her's in a quick kiss.
"I love you so damn much, sweetheart. We're going to see Taylor Swift! Hell yeah!" Dean grinned, rushing off down the hallway.
...
Dean had been eagerly anticipating the concert since his birthday. The usual silence in the bunker had quickly been replaced by the nearly continuous sound of Taylor Swift's discography. He was determined to know all the words to every song before their concert.
Dean had even insisted on dressing up and making friendship bracelets to share with other concert-goers. His costume was relatively simple, a plain white shirt with the word 'karma' written across the chest in red sparkly letters. The color matched perfectly with Y/N's dress and boots.
Dean and Y/N packed their bags before they made the trip down to Nashville, blasting Taylor Swift's music and singing along the whole way.
They checked into their hotel room on the day of the concert. Feeling jittery and excited as they ate an early dinner of takeout burgers before starting to get ready. Dean had put on his shirt before laying down in bed to watch television while Y/N finished up her hair and makeup in the bathroom.
He flipped through the channels, looking over as Y/N stepped out of the bathroom. Her hair and makeup were done, skin sparkling under the dim motel lights. He tossed the remote aside, focusing solely on his beautiful girlfriend.
Dean whistled, "You look phenomenal, baby," He said, eyes running over her body. The bright red sparkly dress hugged her curves perfectly and the boots of the same color glittered with small gems.
"Thank you," She smiled, spinning in a circle to show off the outfit in its entirety.
"Gorgeous," He grinned, standing up from the bed and making his way over.
Dean unbuttoned his shirt, holding open the flannel to display his t-shirt.
Her smile widened, arms wrapping around him as she leaned into his body, "Karma is my boyfriend," She sighed happily.
He leaned down, pressing his lips to her's in a slow and passionate kiss. Dean's hands found her hips, pulling her body closer before reluctantly breaking off the kiss.
"I love you so damn much," He said.
"I know," Y/N smiled.
...
The stadium was dark, the music was loud and the lights were flashing as people screamed out the words to every song. Everyone was dressed to the nines in bright colors and clever costumes, covered in glitter and gems that shimmered under the lights.
The smile hadn't left Dean's face since the first song and he couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
He had traded enough friendship bracelets to have both of his forearms lined with colorful beads. Dean would keep a few for himself, but the rest were for his girl and maybe one for Cas.
His arm was wrapped securely around Y/N's waist as they belted out the lyrics to Love Story. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head and she looked up at him with a smile.
Dean leaned down, pressing a quick kiss to her lips before pulling away. His hand slipped into the front pocket of his jeans, grasping the velvet ring box. Dean pulled it out, flipping the lid open and sliding his arm from around her waist as he turned to face her. Dean got down on one knee between the rows of chairs, holding up the ring. People around him screamed, pulling out their phones to record the moment.
Y/N looked over, eyes widening before her hands flew to her mouth, "Will you marry me, baby?" He asked loudly. Her eyes glossed over with tears as she nodded hastily.
Dean stood up, allowing her to pull him into his arms as happy tears rolled down her cheeks. She pulled away slightly, pressing her lips to his in a passionate kiss.
Dean pulled away, smiling down at her before plucking the ring from the box and sliding it onto her finger. He pulled her into his arms again, holding her tightly as the song came to an end.
"I love you so much, baby," He said.
"I love you too," She replied, pulling him closer.
...
The women sitting in the row behind them had asked for Y/N's cellphone number and sent their videos of Dean's proposal to her. She was overjoyed to have videos to remember such an important moment and watched the recordings before they even made it out of the stadium.
It was strange watching everyone dissipate from the stadium, making the streets brighter with their costumes while leaving jewels and glitter everywhere they went.
Dean and Y/N held hands as they walked down the street towards their motel room after the concert had concluded. The night had been an absolute dream. It was definitely an experience that they would remember for the rest of their lives.
Dean couldn't think of a time when he had been happier.
No hunting. No danger.
Just him and his girlfriend.
Correction, him and his fiancée.
Y/N video called Sam as they walked down the sidewalk, the line rang twice before he picked up.
"Hey, how was it?" Sam asked, sitting up in his bed.
"Amazing, best concert of my entire life," Dean said.
"Yes! She was fantastic and just absolutely amazing. Best night ever! Taylor Swift is just-" "Iconic," Dean stated, "Yes, iconic," Y/N agreed.
He leaned in and pressed a kiss to her temple as they walked, "We got some other news, Sammy," Dean said, smiling down at his fiancée.
"Is your news about how much you spent on concert merchandise? Because I don't want to know if it is," Sam said.
"We're engaged!" Y/N said, holding up her left hand for him to see.
"Are you serious? Is this real?" Sam asked, a wide smile spreading across his face.
"It's real. We're gettin' hitched," Dean said proudly.
"Congratulations, guys. This is amazing! Wait, when did you do it? Did you propose during the concert?" Sam asked.
"During the song Love Story like an awesome fiancé," Dean grinned.
"Some women behind us recorded it and sent me their videos. I'll show you when we get home," Y/N said.
"Alright, have a good night you guys. Get home safe and congratulations again," Sam said.
"Thank you, Sam," Y/N said.
"Have a good night, Sammy," Dean called.
Y/N ended the call, tucking her cellphone into her pocket. She squeezed Dean's hand and he looked over at her to find her staring up at him with a wide smile.
"What?" He asked, a smirk slowly spreading across his face.
"Nothing, just that I only bought this dress so you could take it off," Y/N said casually.
Dean's eyebrows rose, "You flirting with me while referencing Taylor Swift is probably the hottest thing I've ever heard," Dean stated.
"Good," She grinned.

Fever Dreams: Mike x Y/N One Shot Series PRT 03
Tagging: @icarus-star @chainsawgvtsfvck @romanroyapoligist @liquidsmoothdomme @madamemaximoff06 @drazenka @blacksoul-27 @444rockstargf @kappasbbgirl @mommymilkers0526
Mike was settling in at Leff's and into his new role of working for him. It had hiccups and it wasn't exactly his dream job but he enjoyed having a place to go to sleep at night without worrying about freezing outside or getting his shit stolen. The best part of being here was absolutely getting to hang out with Y/n though. She made working for Leff a little less of a nightmare just be hanging out, talking with him and actually getting to know him.
"Leff? You lazy fuck!" He jumped up off his bed when he heard Y/n's voice call out as she entered the front door. He caught her in the hallway and she looked surprised to see him.
"Hey, why the fuck is dipshits phone off?" Y/n asked as she passed grocery bags to Mike.
"He's out tonight. Didn't say where. What the hell is all this?" Mike put the cigarette in his lips and helped carry some of the bags up the steps behind Y/n.
"Groceries. I do my shopping on Sunday's so I grab his shit too. If you need anything, you can add it to the list on the fridge." Y/n explained dropping the bags on the table. Mike sets the bags down and laughs.
"So you domestic shit for him yet you aren't fucking? What kind of shit is that?" Mike laughed as Y/n rolled her eyes.
"Have you never been friends with a woman before?" She asked curiously.
"No...not really." Mike started pulling things out of the grocery bags and sitting it on the table. He watched her put things away like she had done this a million times before. She knew more about this place than he did.
"We have not and will never fuck, I can promise you that. Leff is not my type in the slightest." Y/n explained catching Mike's attention.
"Oh yeah? What's your type then?" He smirked.
"Why? You trying to find me a boyfriend?" She teases.
"Maybe I'm trying to apply for the job?" He teases right back handing her more things to put in the fridge.
"You just got to the city, you can't just go settling down for the first woman who smacks your ass, Mike." Y/n shut the fridge and started gathering the bags.
"Who says I'm settling? I mean you could at least give me a test drive, see how I handle and make your decision on me from there." Mike followed her down the stairs and she paused in the foyer.
"Oh yeah? You gonna entertain me on that couch?" Y/n looked over his shoulder at the minimal things he had in his room.
"It's a work in progress." Mike explained gesturing for her to come in but she put her hand up.
"You've got more important things to do before you start trying to date out here...like getting a trash can. Jesus you guys are disgusting. Put a few things on a list and stick it to the fridge. I will make sure to grab you some stuff the next time I go out." Y/n shook her head picking up a garbage bag that sat on the floor.
"So you just go around doing domestic shit for guys and don't get fucked? Where's the fun in that?" Mike leaned against the door frame and Y/n put her hand on his chest.
"Only the ones who save my ass...and the really really cute ones that stare at it." She squeezed his chin making him smirk.
"Seriously, hang out for a bit. I don't bite." He took her hand and held onto it trying to entice her to stay.
"I have to go, I have my own groceries I need to get home." She laughed letting him hold onto her hand. He was trying to think of something to change her mind and she shook her head.
"See if you had a little mini fridge, I could keep my cold stuff in there and hang out with you but you don't. You should work on making this more friendly for entertaining." She pointed out.
"The next time you come by, it will be and you won't have any excuse to leave me hanging." Mike promised.
"Oh sounds like a threat, I'll bring the beer." She taunted and he finally let go of her hand.
"It's a promise." He watched her leave the house and couldn't help but think about spending time with her alone, preferably naked but he honestly just wanted to hang out with her. Something about her intrigued him. He turned back to his room and winced. He had a lot of work to do.

Forgive Me (Joel Miller x f!reader/ofc)
Tumblr media
MASTERLIST - follow @mothandpidgeon-updates and turn on notifications to stay updated with my fics!
Pairing: Joel Miller x f!reader/ofc (unnamed, no physical description)
Words: 3.5k
Rating: E 18+
Warnings: masturbation, the male gaze, dub con (looking at nudes without consent), references to p in v sex and blow jobs, references to drugs and alcohol, violence, general Joel Miller angst and self-loathing [let me know if I missed anything]
Summary: When Joel finds himself in possession of some sexy photos, temptation makes him question himself as he's fascinated by a woman he's never met.
A/N: She's back! I think it's been a year since I've posted any Pedro fic. I've been kind of uninspired but mainly focused on publishing my first novel. But Joel's got me all kinds of distracted from revising my manuscript. Please enjoy some angst.
...
It rained. A gray sky blanketed the QZ making everything look even more bleak. As if it needed help. Joel and his customer had taken cover under some scaffolding. Luckily, the weather meant that there weren’t a whole lot of people around, no suspicious glances in their direction.
Joel opened his wet bag to reveal a pair of work boots to the buyer. Vince’s eyes lit up.
“Hell yeah,” he said.
Joel flipped the backpack closed again. These had been hard to come by and he’d gotten pretty good at this beat. Nobody got their hands on any goods without paying first.
“Alright. I got you, man,” Vince said. This wasn’t his first rodeo either. He’d been doing business with Joel since the very beginning. He bought all kinds of shit— a radio, chocolate, tiny bottles of shampoo. Joel wasn’t sure if Vince resold the stuff but it was better not to know about that kind of thing.
Vince put his cards into Joel’s hand and Joel counted.
“What the hell is this?” Joel asked.
Tucked into the stack of ration cards were a couple of photographs. A quick glance showed him they were all the same woman, naked or nearly naked. Vince had tried to pawn this stuff off on him before. In fact once he tried to pay with porn and Joel had to tell him he only accepted ration cards.
“Just a little something extra,” Vince said with a wink. He happily took the boots and gave them a once over. “You got my size and everything.”
“I’m not interested,” Joel said and tried to hand the pictures back.
“Come on,” Vince chuckled. “A stiff prick for a stiff prick.” He gave Joel a friendly slap on the shoulder which only deepened his scowl.
“See you around.” Vince walked away and Joel had no choice but to tuck the bundle into his jacket.
When he got home, Joel hid the ration cards away as he always did. He put the photographs into the hole in the floor as well. He hadn’t given them another look since they went into his pocket. Joel might’ve just gotten rid of them but nothing went in the trash without careful consideration. Everything in the QZ had value and these pictures were obviously worth something to somebody. It didn’t feel right to sell them but in a pinch, it would be good to have something that could grease some wheels.
He put the floorboards back and promptly forgot about them.
...
Joel’s hand reached into the hole in the floor. It was the end of a long and awful week. The Fireflies were causing trouble which meant the FEDRA rats were out in force. Joel hadn’t done any lucrative business in days. The honest work he could get was as degrading as ever. He smelled like trash and shit. He needed a fucking drink, couldn’t wait to feel it burn in the back of his throat. There was no chance his muscles would uncoil without a couple of shots. As he fished his bottle out of its hiding place, his fingers caught on something else. The slick side of a photograph stuck to his sweaty palm as he drew his hand out from under the floor. It’d been a while since he’d put the nudes down there and he hadn’t thought about them at all since.
Joel looked at it. Curiosity, plain and simple. It was a Polaroid, taken on long-expired film that gave everything a tinge of sepia. The woman in the photograph looked out at him, a coy smile on her lips. It wasn’t her face that caught his attention. She sat on the edge of a bed, tits bare. One of her thumbs was hitched in the elastic of her panties.
He pulled the other two out, just to see the variety, and took them over to his bed along with his bottle. The photos got more explicit. In the first she was laying back, completely exposed and touching herself. The other one had her on all fours, looking over her shoulder at the camera, at Joel.
At first Joel chuckled to himself. He never considered himself to be the type to go for such exaggerated, porny stuff. And he hardly lost control of himself. There wasn’t room for desire in his life. Pleasure wasn’t a part of his vocabulary anymore. From the sludge that passed for his morning coffee to the hard mattress he lay on at night, there was nothing enjoyable to be found around him.
Still, he felt himself twitching in his jeans. She had a nice body, the kind he used to like when he thought about things like that. She looked soft and he bet she smelled good.
Joel began to wonder about her, if she’d taken the pictures for her lover. Or maybe for an ex who’d traded them to spite her. Either way, they weren’t for him. She might’ve posed for a creep like Vince to get a few ration cards.
He didn’t like that. He didn’t like knowing that he was the kind of man who got stiff gawking at her. Joel did all kinds of things he wasn’t proud of but he had a good reason for them. Getting off on some woman’s private pictures just seemed wrong.
She wasn’t his daughter but she was somebody’s and that made Joel’s gut twist.
He tossed the photo aside and laid back, draping his forearm across his eyes. For a while he laid there trying to will his hard on away. His muscles were even more tense than before. He ground his teeth and screwed his eyes shut but the image of the woman had burned itself in. Soon he was absentmindedly touching himself through his jeans, dragging his fingertips over the lump in the denim. He craved that release. Each slow stroke made him pulse with want.
He growled. What fucking difference did it make? Joel was acting all high and mighty like it meant something. He wasn’t any better than the man who’d given him these pictures. He had his own vices and he always felt about an inch away from violence. This poor girl had no idea he was looking at her body, that seeing her flesh was getting him hard. If that was the worst thing that ever happened to her, he told himself, she was lucky.
Human decency be damned. Joel gave in to that selfish part of him, the animal inside that cared only about his own survival, his own desire. This world had taken everything from him and he was going to steal something from her. He knew what that made him but he didn’t care.
Joel unzipped his fly, his cock weeping furiously and straining against his boxers. He took up the last photo, the one that was doubled over ass-out, and spit into his other fist. He pulled at himself as he glared at the picture. It felt good. Slick and tight.
He could see a trail of wetness at her core reflecting the camera’s flash and he imagined how fantastic it would feel to plunge into her, to hold onto her hips and groan and buck against her. He kept tugging on his cock, squeezing at the head and dreaming up the noises she’d make, the sounds of their bodies connecting. He sped up his fist. He wanted her to cry out his name. He wanted her to take him away from all of this shit, just for a minute, just sixty fucking seconds when he could forget.
A spasm ran up from his groin, an electric shock that travelled up his spine, and he moaned and swore through gritted teeth as he came. His heart pounded in his chest as he lay back, sticky and sweating. The photograph was still in his grip as his breath evened out.
That wasn’t the last time he used her picture. Whenever he was amped up or way down, he’d retrieve the photos and get to work on himself.
There was one photograph he favored over the others, the one where she was on her back. He liked to think about standing over her, taking in the sight of her. His eyes would move over every velvet inch of her before he went any further.
She could be whatever he needed. Sometimes he would imagine her seducing him, straddling his hips and lowering herself onto his cock with a luxurious sigh. Others, he liked her to be sweet and innocent, just for him. When he was having a shitty day, he’d picture himself fucking brutally into her mouth until tears ran down her cheeks. It was messed up and he knew it but the guilt wore off quickly. He had next to nothing in this world, at least he could have this release.
...
Joel had been waiting longer than he wanted. He’d circled the block three times already and he was getting impatient. He was meeting a buyer who was late and if they didn’t show soon, they’d be out of luck. Joel didn’t like to linger.
He rounded the corner on the square and did his best to blend in. Another round of executions were underway. Above the crowd, four people were lined up on the catwalk, ropes around their necks. Joel chose to ignore it. He scanned the faces around him until he saw someone familiar. It wasn’t his contact. He wasn’t sure where he’d seen her before. That happened often— he’d spot someone he thought he knew from his past life. Most of the time, it was just a trick of the eye, but he couldn’t shake the feeling that he knew the woman on the other side of the square.
She had her arm around another woman. The other one was more than middle aged and crying, tears running over the wrinkles on her cheeks. The woman, the one that Joel recognized, pulled her friend in close and glanced around. She wasn’t crying but she had a lost expression on her face. That’s when he realized.
Joel was looking at the woman from the photographs. There was no doubt in his mind that it was her. He’d spent over a year staring at that face. In person, she was just as pretty but her appearance was hidden under the same dirt and weariness everyone in the QZ wore.
Joel’s chest went tight and he couldn’t move a muscle, couldn’t breathe. His body was crushed by shame and disgust. He had violated her and she didn’t even know it.
The FEDRA officer read out the charges and she squeezed her friend in close so she wouldn’t have to watch the bodies drop. Obviously there was someone up there that they knew. Joel watched her face go stony as the platform fell out. She barely winced, like she was just there to bare witness, but he could guess how she felt. You lost enough people, what was one more friend dying right in front of your eyes?
The crowd broke up and she lead her companion away, a tender hand on the older woman’s shoulder. Joel had no choice but to move and his feet decided to head in the same direction as the woman. He kept his distance because he wasn't following her. At least he told himself that he that. It just wasn’t safe for him to hang around with FEDRA crawling all over. Dusk was falling so she was probably headed home before curfew fell.
Joel watched her wind down the streets, all the while sick to his stomach. He truly was a creep. He didn’t know why he was going after her. The last thing he wanted was to spook her and it wasn’t like he planned on introducing himself. There was a funny idea in his mind that she might turn around and see him and know, just by looking at his face, what he’d done. Maybe she’d scream at him and slap him in the face. Part of him wanted that. He deserved it.
She was just helping her friend up the stairs to one of the brownstones when Joel connected with something. He’d been so wrapped up in watching the woman, he wasn’t looking at where he was going. It startled him out of his thoughts to be inches away from a FEDRA officer. Usually Joel kept a wide berth but he’d walked right into the back of his bulletproof vest. The officer turned and put his hands on his hips, narrowed his eyes.
Joel gave an apologetic nod.
“Move along,” the FEDRA officer commanded.
Joel did, unsure he deserved to slip out of a close call like that.
When he got home, he felt like shit. He pried up the floorboards and dug out the pictures. The face that looked out at him was the same one he’d seen in the square. He snapped his eyes shut and swore under his breath.
He set the photos down at the kitchen table, then sat on the couch with his bottle. Joel sat there for a long time, watching the pictures like they might spring up and force themselves back into his hand. That night, he hardly slept.
...
Joel knew better than to do business with someone as skittish as Max. This kid had already chewed his fingernails down to the quick and the way his eyes darted around would make anyone suspicious. But he wanted pills so damn bad, he’d give up more ration cards than they were worth. Joel insisted they meet off the street, in an alley buffeted by a fence and brick walls.
“You’re a lifesaver for this,” Max said. He couldn’t stop fidgeting and it made even Joel nervous.
“Mhm,” he grumbled.
Max knew the drill. He was ready with the cards without being asked.
Joel was about to reach for them when the worst thing that could happen did.
“What’s going on here?” a gruff voice called down the alley. Fuck. A FEDRA officer in full uniform was marching their way, one hand on his weapon.
Leave it to Max to split. He made a break for it and blew past the officer leaving Joel to face questioning alone. If he’d been cool, Joel could’ve talked their way out of it but now there was no hope of leaving without trouble.
The officer radioed for someone else to go after Max, gave his position and direction, but he kept his eyes on Joel. He was shorter than Joel and under his helmet, he looked young. Probably born just a few years before the outbreak with no options but joining up. The patch on his chest identified him as DIXON.
“Hands on your head,” Dixon instructed when he was finished.
Joel obeyed, a deep frown pulling at his lips. Dixon scanned him and then reached for his radio again.
“I’ve got some ration cards in my pocket. They’re all yours,” Joel offered before he could make a report.
“You trying to bribe me?” the officer asked.
Joel shook his head. “Everybody’s in need these days. Just trying to help out.”
Dixon scoffed. “Trying to help yourself out of a tough spot.”
Joel clenched his jaw. This motherfucker was obviously one of those types that got off on throwing their weight around. Half of the FEDRA soldiers he’d encountered were happy to bend the rules for the right price. The other half only felt big when they reminded others how small they’d become.
“Let’s see what you’ve got,” Dixon said, sliding his weapon onto his back so his hands were free. The chainlink fence rattled as he pressed Joel against it. Joel kept his eyes forward as hands searched his hips and down his legs. Dixon went into his pocket and Joel heard the crinkle of a plastic bag. “Pills. No wonder.”
He continued his search as Joel cursed himself. Losing that merchandise meant a nice stack of ration cards was about to evaporate into thin air. Not to mention the fact he was now in deep shit with FEDRA.
“Oh, fuck,” Joel heard. The delight in the officer’s voice made him turn his head. Joel’s stomach fell into his feet when he saw what had been found. Dixon held a Polaroid in his hand.
Joel had been toting the pictures around for two weeks, hoping chance might cause him to bump into the woman again. Sometimes he wandered past the building she went into before curfew, hoping to catch her there again. He could have just destroyed them, lit the corner and let them go up in flames, but he wanted to give them back to her so she knew that they weren’t floating around out there. That scumbags like him weren’t jacking it to her picture. That pigs like Dixon weren’t salivating over them like he was right now.
“This your girl?” he asked. He raised the visor on his helmet to get a better look. “Damn.”
Joel pressed his lips into a line, shame washing over him again. He wondered if he’d had the same dopey grin on his face when he’d first gazed over her body.
“That’s a nice piece of pussy.”
Joel seethed and squeezed his hand into a fist in hopes that he could ball up all the swiftly building ire right there.
“Y’know,” Dixon began, finally glancing back up to Joel, “if I got a taste of that, I might be inclined to forget about all this. If she’s any good, maybe I’d even let you keep your pills.”
His fist flew before he even knew it. Joel pounced on him, pinning Dixon against the brick and punching him right in the nose. Dixon fought back, clawing and grunting, scratching at Joel’s face. Joel didn’t care. In fact, he welcomed the pain. He wasn’t defending her, the woman he didn’t know. He wasn’t a hero. Joel pummeled the man the way he’d wanted to beat himself. Pervert. Scum. Monster. Blood gushed from Dixon’s nose and teeth were battered loose and it wasn’t long before he stopped defending himself. Joel finally realized he’d knocked him out. He was holding the officer up with his own bodyweight and when he let go, Dixon crumpled.
Joel stood over him, shoulders heaving with his jagged breaths. Dixon gurgled, a mess of swollen crimson. Joel stooped down and picked up the picture with a bloody hand. He turned down the alley and ran like the cockroach he was.
...
Joel leaned in the shadow of a doorway, his eyes fixed across the street. He’d been laying low, staying as far off of FEDRA’s radar as he could, but he’d been restless. A week had passed since he’d beaten the piss out of one of their officers. His knuckles were still red and raw.
The sun was setting. He’d been out there for nearly four hours now and he’d need to get going soon if he was going to be back before curfew. There as no way he’d risk being out after dark when things were so hot.
He perked up when a figure rounded the corner. They were rushing, clearly fighting the same clock. It was her. Joel could tell from the other end of the block. He’d been resolved to get her pictures back to her but suddenly he felt like turning tail and going home. The urge only confirmed his worst opinions about himself.
Joel strode across the street as she approached. He placed himself at the foot of the stairs he knew she was headed towards.
The woman looked at him with nervous eyes. It stung but he couldn’t blame her. Joel was broad and his face always fixed in a scowl. She should be scared. He’d been no friend to her.
“Do you want something?” she asked, staying a cautious distance away. Her voice wasn’t what he’d imagined.
Joel pulled the photos out and she took a step back. He moved towards her, holding them out so she could see that he didn’t have anything dangerous. His fist was still swollen and a smear of Dixon’s blood had stained the white frame of the Polaroid.
The woman’s eyes bounced back and forth between his hand and his face. Finally, seeing that he wasn’t going anywhere until she took what he offered, she carefully plucked the pictures up.
Her eyes went wide and then narrow. She glowered at him. “Where did you get these?” she demanded.
Joel’s mouth was dry. The accusation in her stare cut him deeper than he’d expected. The scabs on his knuckles burned like he’d scraped them against sandpaper. He looked at her for a lengthy moment and then decided that he’d done enough.
Joel left her there after a grunt.
He walked swiftly, wanting to put as much distance between them as he could. He didn’t feel any better. It felt like failure. He’d already forgotten what she looked like, serpentine and sensuous, replaced by her hurt and admonition.
Joel had planned on apologizing, but the words hadn’t come.

How the hell did I get here?
That’s the question you’ve asked yourself at least four times in one night.
Your boyfriend of two years decided to take you on a date, a great one. A great restaurant, a trip to your favorite arcade, and an ice cream afterwards. It was perfect.
Except when he dropped you off at your apartment and broke up with you, saying he had a job offer overseas and didn’t want to do a long distance relationship. He barely gave you a chance to respond before he left you at your doorstep, completely dumbfounded.
You don’t even remember choosing not to go into your apartment and instead getting in your car, stopping at the liquor store and buying whatever was cheap and strong. You don’t recall getting back in the car, driving another ten minutes, parking in the guest lot, storming your way to a door and slamming on it until it opened.
That’s when you first asked the question as your best work friend, Jimin, opened the door, glaring daggers at you.
“Why the hell are you slamming on my door, y/n?”
Your only response was to lift the bag of alcohol toward him. “We’re going to drink all of this. I have Thai food being delivered here in seventeen minutes.”
You don’t let him respond, having to squeeze between him and the doorway to get inside, sitting on the floor in front of the couch, pulling out the bottles and mixers. You ignore the heavy sigh coming from the smaller man as he drags himself to the kitchen, grabbing two cups and sits down next to you.
“Are you going to tell me why we’re drinking on Thursday night?”
You nod, finishing up a horrible concoction that was sure to hit quickly.
“Taehyung broke up with me.”
“Oh.” you miss his wide eyes as you start working on the same concoction for him.
“Yep. He got a job out of the country, and decided two years wasn’t worth at least trying long distance and peaced out before I could say anything. Next thing I know, I’m here.” Your phone pings, and you look at it briefly, getting up.
“Food is here. Perfect timing, here’s your drink.” You hand him the drink and hurry to the door to accept the food.
When you return, Jimin’s already moved everything off the coffee table and made space for the abundance of food you barely remember ordering. You leave the food with him, making your way to the kitchen to grab extra napkins and utensils.
It’s not until you finally sit back down and help divide up the food that he finally speaks again.
“Wait, didn't you have a date tonight?”
It’s at this you snort a laugh, not caring if it’s attractive or not.
“Oh yeah. It was perfect too.” You nod, stuffing your face with whatever was in front of you. “Good food, then to the arcade we always went to when we started dating, ice cream, and then bam, dumped.”
You take a deep swig of your drinking, sticking your tongue out in disgust at the flavor. “But hey. What a way to make it memorable, right?”
“I guess…are you going to be okay?” He’s a little hesitant, having only ever experienced you acting like you were fine, leaning heavily into the sarcasm when you were livid when at work having a customer scream in your face about something that was their fault.
You finally look at Jimin, and put on the best smile you can, knowing you both know it’s fake.
“I have to be. What’s done is done according to him, so I have no other option but to get over it.”
“It still meant something to you, y/n. That’s two whole years. You can’t just tell yourself you’re fine after two-.”
“Hey, Jimin?” you interrupt, lazily pointing your chopsticks at him. “I appreciate it, I do, that you’re trying to get me to feel feelings and process them like a healthy adult. I love that about you, truly.” You ignore his blush and continue.
“But that’s not why I came here. I came here to get drunk, eat delicious takeout, and watch something shitty on the tv with you to forget this happened. Can we do that instead? Process emotions later? Please?”
He watches you for a second, trying to figure out if he should push further, but decides against it. Silently nodding and handing you the remote. You mumble a thank you and scroll through whatever streaming platform he was already on.
You both settle on a ridiculous reality tv show about hot people living together, you have no idea what the show's point is, but you two become somewhat invested the more you drink.
The second time you ask yourself the question is two hours and many cups of your horrible drink mixture later. You and Jimin are still sitting on the floor, backs against the couch and both shit-talking one of the contestants, if that’s what they even are.
You lean your head against the seat of the couch as Jimin spews some nonsense about how unrealistic and fabricated the drama in the show is. You giggle, turning your head so you can see Jimin.
God, he’s pretty. Perfect jaw, perfect lips, perfect eyes, perfect smile, perfect hair, those perfect lips again.
“Ugh, here they go again, those idiots.” You snap out of your intrusive thoughts and turn your focus back to the tv. The horrible female contestants are sitting around drinking and talking about men they’ve slept with, or more specifically, their fingers.
One girl starts going on about the importance of long fingers providing better orgasms and another debates back that it’s actually the thickness that matters. You start to zone out, not catching yourself thinking out loud in time.
“Tae has long fingers…”
“I’m sorry, what?” Your eyes widen, keeping them locked on the screen that is now paused.
“I didn’t say anything.” You lie, but he’s already shifting to look at you.
“No, I’m pretty sure you said something about your now ex’s fingers.” He smirks at your glaring expression toward him.
“Well, he does. He has long fingers. And sure as hell knew how to use them.” Why you’re defending or better yet, bragging, about your now ex boyfriend is beyond you, but you feel the need to do it anyway.
“I’m sure he did.” He scoffs, taking another swig of the gross beverage.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“It means, y/n, that the length of someone’s fingers means nothing. It’s all about what you do with them. And, I remember you drunkenly telling me about him fumbling and you having to fake it a few times with him.”
“I did not! I’ve never faked it with him!”
He leans back against the couch, laughing, twisting his head to meet you, glaring at him. “Why are you glaring at me?”
“I’m hoping you’ll spontaneously combust.”
He laughs again. “Aish, you’re delusional, y/n.”
“Like you could do any better? Your fingers are half the length of his. Your pinky is like a stub.” You cross your arms and turn back to the screen at the sudden silence, ignoring how he looks at you.
A second later, he gets up, walking in front of you and into the kitchen. You can hear the sound of water for a moment before he makes his way back, this time sitting on the couch directly behind you. You lean your head back, resting it against his crossed legs as his fingers trace your jawline, sending shivers down your spine.
The third time you ask yourself how you got here is when he finally leans down enough that his lips barely brush over yours.
“I can do better.” He whispers, lifting his head up just enough that your eyes lock on to one another, his asking for permission and yours giving it with a slight nod and twist of the head to grant him better access. His lips mold against yours in a slow but very needy kiss, his fingers still tracing your jaw and down your neck to your collarbone.
He finally pulls away, tapping your arm twice, and you immediately twist to be on your knees facing him. He slides his legs down to rest on the floor with you sitting in between them, hands bringing your face up to meet his lips again. His tongue playfully licks across your lips and you open up, allowing him entry to devour you, moaning around him all the while. Your hands sliding up his inner thighs. He pulls away, giving you one last kiss before smiling down at you.
“Stand up, princess.” He demands it so confidentially while still sounding like the perfect prince. You stand up, his hands dragging down your waist as you stand until they rest on your hips. He looks up at you, eyes sparkling as he grins something sinister.
“Lift your dress for me.” The command is barely a whisper as his hands move under your dress to your ass, squeezing just enough to make you bring your hips forward as you lift the skirt of your dress to reveal your lace underwear.
The sigh he lets out at the sight of the lace is enough to cause a whole new flood of arousal to soak your underwear. He kisses just above the waistband of the lacey lingerie, one hand slipping down to the back of your thigh while the other runs up and along your stomach, dipping down over the lace.
His thumb slides down to your center, running up and down your folds through your underwear, gawking at the wet sounds you’re already making.
“Fuck, that guy is an idiot for breaking up with this.” He murmurs before burying his face in between your legs, rubbing his nose against the damp spot. You whisper a few curse words, forcing yourself to continue to remove your dress. He pulls away from your center, leaning back against the couch, almost dazed by the matching lace bra that you remove along with the ruined underwear.
“Get the fuck over here, princess. I need to show you what a real orgasm is.”
You swallow nervously as you straddle his lap, yelping when one of his hands comes down to smack your ass. He brings your hips down to his, guiding yours to grind against him, soaking his pajama pants in the process. His lips find your neck and you whimper as he marks you across your neck and collarbone.
“Fuck, Jimin, please.” Your voice strains out as you continue rutting against him, whimpering every time your clit touches the now wet fabric.
“Please what, princess? What do you need?” He buries his face in your neck, panting against your skin.
“Anything. Something. Fuck.” Your fingers tangle in his hair, needing something to hold on to. Jimin just smirks into your neck, using both hands to roughly grind you against him. You cry out, feeling the tightness in your core when he abruptly stops.
“What the fuck? Why’d you stop?”
He brings his face back, admiring your flustered expression for a moment as he repositions you both. Suddenly you’re facing away from him and he’s made it so you’re only straddling one of his thighs, removing his pajama pants in the process but leaving his briefs. Before you can reach down to help him relieve any tension from the massive bulge below you, he’s lightly pushing between your shoulder blades, easing you to lean forward until you can basically rest your arms on the coffee table.
He slips a hand between you both, halting any movement from you. He uses his middle and ring finger to spread your arousal everywhere, smothering your bundle of nerves in it, before returning back to your entrance where he slips the two fingers in without warning. You gasp, pressing further down on his fingers as he curls them in an upside-down come hither motion.
“You’re going to fuck yourself on my fingers and my thigh, princess. Think you can do that?”
You nod quickly, desperate for any kind of friction, almost jumping when he adds his index as well. His other hand begins guiding your hips against his thigh and it’s suddenly a whole new experience when it’s his skin against your clit and not the fabric.
You continue grinding against his thigh, clit rubbing against skin with every pull forward and fingers sinking deeper with every roll back, a moaning mess the entire time. Every pull forward, his fingers curl into a claw, pressing against your walls, while every roll back he straightens them out and spreads them as wide as they can go, flexing the muscles in his thigh simultaneously. You both know you’re not going to last long, clenching around his fingers and losing your previously steady rhythm.
“Gonna come for me, princess? Gonna come all over these fingers you think are too small?” His voice is teasing and you nod frantically, but shake your head right after.
“Not too small, fuck, anything but too small. Fuck, I’m gonna come.”
“He ever make you feel like this?” He asks more seriously, waiting until you pull forward to shove his fingers in even deeper as you roll back. Your groan is deep within you, desperate to be free.
“No.” is all you can bring yourself to respond with. You can almost see the smug smile on his perfect face.
“Good. Come for me, y/n. All over my fingers, like a good girl.”
On command, and with one final push forward and back onto his fingers, you’re coming around them, clenching down as you reach that perfect high. He doesn’t stop though, holding you still as he fucks his three fingers in you harder than before. You scream his name as his fingers coax out an immediate second orgasm that’s smaller than the first, but still as strong.
When you finally still yourself and catch your breath, you roll onto your back on the couch, watching him palm his erection through his underwear as he licks his fingers.
And that’s when you ask yourself the question for the fourth time.
How the hell did I get here?
You wait until he’s almost done cleaning yourself off him when you finally speak again.
“What the hell just happened?” You close your legs, starting to reach for your dress, when the hand that just tortured two orgasms out of you lands on your knee, slowly reopening your legs.
“You insulted my abilities and I had to prove you wrong.” His hand slides down your thigh again, squeezing the muscles along the way. You don’t stop him.
“But I just got out of a relationship.”
“I wasn’t asking you to be my girlfriend, princess. There’s a difference.” He takes a sharp breath staring at the mess he’s made of you between your legs, palming himself even more.
“And, I don’t mind being a rebound if it’s with you. I can make you feel good if that’s all you need from me.” His eyes dart up to yours, completely serious about his offer.
“No strings?”
“None whatsoever.” He grins, and you use your foot to press against his erection through his underwear, earning a grunt from him.
“Okay. Make me feel good, Jimin.” You whisper, pressing your foot down harder.
“Your wish is my command, princess.” He quickly gets the words out as he stands up, picking you up bridal style and rushing to his bed.
You both know you’ll wake up tomorrow regretting it and questioning your friendship, but that’s not important now. What’s important is the way he made you forget all about your stupid breakup with just his fingers and the curiosity of what else he’s capable of.

Hope you liked it. Happy birthday to my little squish Jimin. 🥰
