Sims 4 Basic Trait Tutorial
You will need: Zerbu’s Mod constructor and Python 3.7
Download it and extract it with Winrar or a similar program. Then open Constructor.exe.
It will look like this:
Fill in your creator name and your mod name. For this tutorial purpose I am going to make a Handy Trait. Once you have filled in the information, select Create Mod. Now select Add Element
Here under beginner select Trait and in the box down the bottom where it says element name put in Handy or whatever trait you want to make. Click the red x on the window.
This is where we will fill out information about the trait. Including age, description, icon. Don’t worry about the buff one just yet.
Mine now looks like this:
Now let’s get to the buff. This is where we will put in information about the Buff like for me, I want to make sure the handiness and robotics skill are gained faster.
Once you have done that we will open element value at the bottom
Here left click the tiny arrow next to Buff Info to bring down the information. Here we are going to play with the statistics and add some whims.
Select Add Component.
Label it and select Create Component then select the red x
Whims are a lot of fun. Select the little disc at the bottom of the whims panel (looks a bit like a cd rom)
Select whichever whims you want. Mine are all to do with handiness or crafting objects on the woodwork table.
Click the red X once you are done. Under your whims you can also write a whim reason i.e: From Handy Trait. Once you are finished select add component again. Let’s add some statistics.
Select Modifiers then Statistic Mulipliers. And create component
Make the other panels smaller so you can see. For my trait I want handiness,and robotics to gain very fast and gardening and painting to gain a little bit faster. Select the add at the bottom
It looks like this now.
Select Preset
Here you’ll find the list of skills/career performance etc that you can select. For Handiness I select Mental Skills
I select handiness. Close with the red x
For every skill I want I need to add another preset. For the handiness here I select 3 increase for the multiplier. Now handy sims will build handiness 3x as fast. I will now add my other skills.
If you want to change the effectiveness of a skill i.e how good paintings or quality of woodwork is go to modifiders and then effective skill modifiers.
Now it’s time to export. Name the package and save it.

Python - How To Convert Text to Speech
Due to the advancement in technology over the past few decades, we have many devices equipped with speech recognition. Python has a wide variety of modules available which can work with audio objects. Some modules can convert some written text to audio.
In this tutorial, we will discuss how to convert text to speech using Python.
Use the gTTS Module to Convert Text to Speech in Python
Google created an API called Google Text-To-Speech which they use to read a text and give audio output. This API is integrated with a Python module called gtts, which can convert text to speech, perform audio manipulation, among other things, by storing audio in a byte-sized object, and even save the final output.
We will use the gTTS function to create an object which will read the text and convert it to an audio object. We can use many parameters with this function. We can reduce the speed of the output using the slow argument. The Google API supports different languages, and we can mention supported languages using the lang parameter.
We will implement this method in the following code.

In the above code, we create an object which reads the desired text. We save this object containing the speech audio using the save() function and then play it using the playsound() function. The playsound() function imported from the playsound library can play an audio file.
Note that given this module uses the Google API to convert text to speech, it will require an active internet connection. You can consider the method discussed below if you want it to run offline.
Use the pyttsx3 Module to Convert Text to Speech in Python
The pyttsx3 is another module that can perform such conversions and work without an internet connection. First, we will create an object which references the pyttsx3.Engine using the init() constructor from this module. Then the say() function here adds the required text to be spoken in the queue. Then we use the runAndWait() function to play the command from the queue.
For example,

We can set the properties like the playback rate of the final output using the setProperty() method. This module is compatible with Python 2 and Python 3.

Greetings. I am going to make a tutorial, using Zerbu’s Mod Constructor.
I spent some time fiddling with the xmls, and I was told I needed a tool to inject the career in the game, and I was suggested using the Mod Constructor instead because I was using Sims 4 Studio and it can’t inject it, and you need to set up a Python workspace for that.

Introduction:-
NumPy is a python library used for working with arrays.It also has functions for working in domain of linear algebra, fourier transform, and matrices.It is an open source project and you can use it freely. NumPy stands for Numerical Python.
NumPy — Ndarray Object
The most important object defined in NumPy is an N-dimensional array type called ndarray. It describes the collection of items of the same type. Items in the collection can be accessed using a zero-based index.Every item in an ndarray takes the same size of block in the memory.
Each element in ndarray is an object of data-type object (called dtype).Any item extracted from ndarray object (by slicing) is represented by a Python object of one of array scalar types.
The following diagram shows a relationship between ndarray, data type object (dtype) and array scalar type −
It creates an ndarray from any object exposing array interface, or from any method that returns an array.
numpy.array(object, dtype = None, copy = True, order = None, subok = False, ndmin = 0)
The above constructor takes the following parameters −
Object :- Any object exposing the array interface method returns an array, or any (nested) sequence.
Dtype : — Desired data type of array, optional.
Copy :- Optional. By default (true), the object is copied.
Order :- C (row major) or F (column major) or A (any) (default).
Subok :- By default, returned array forced to be a base class array. If true, sub-classes passed through.
ndmin :- Specifies minimum dimensions of resultant array.
Operations on Numpy Array
In this blog, we’ll walk through using NumPy to analyze data on wine quality. The data contains information on various attributes of wines, such as pH and fixed acidity, along with a quality score between 0 and 10 for each wine. The quality score is the average of at least 3 human taste testers. As we learn how to work with NumPy, we’ll try to figure out more about the perceived quality of wine.
The data was downloaded from the winequality-red.csv, and is available here. file, which we’ll be using throughout this tutorial:
Lists Of Lists for CSV Data
Before using NumPy, we’ll first try to work with the data using Python and the csv package. We can read in the file using the csv.reader object, which will allow us to read in and split up all the content from the ssv file.
In the below code, we:
Import the csv library.
Open the winequality-red.csv file.
With the file open, create a new csv.reader object.
Pass in the keyword argument delimiter=";" to make sure that the records are split up on the semicolon character instead of the default comma character.
Call the list type to get all the rows from the file.
Assign the result to wines.
We can check the number of rows and columns in our data using the shape property of NumPy arrays:

Let’s select the element at row 3 and column 4. In the below code, we pass in the index 2 as the row index, and the index 3 as the column index. This retrieves the value from the fourth column of the third row:
1-Dimensional NumPy Arrays
So far, we’ve worked with 2-dimensional arrays, such as wines. However, NumPy is a package for working with multidimensional arrays. One of the most common types of multidimensional arrays is the 1-dimensional array, or vector.

The first element of each row is the fixed acidity, the second is the volatile ,acidity, and so on. We can find the average quality of the wines. The below code will:
Extract the last element from each row after the header row.
Convert each extracted element to a float.
Assign all the extracted elements to the list qualities.
Divide the sum of all the elements in qualities by the total number of elements in qualities to the get the mean.
NumPy Array Methods
In addition to the common mathematical operations, NumPy also has several methods that you can use for more complex calculations on arrays. An example of this is the numpy.ndarray.sum method. This finds the sum of all the elements in an array by default:

NumPy Array Comparisons
We get a Boolean array that tells us which of the wines have a quality rating greater than 5. We can do something similar with the other operators. For instance, we can see if any wines have a quality rating equal to 10:

We select only the rows where high_Quality contains a True value, and all of the columns. This subsetting makes it simple to filter arrays for certain criteria. For example, we can look for wines with a lot of alcohol and high quality. How to Create a Blockchain with Python? - Geekflare
Did you know that Bitcoin is built on top of Blockchain? Today we’re going to build a Blockchain with Python from scratch.
What is Blockchain?
In 2008 the Bitcoin paper was published by an unknown individual or group named Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin came out as a peer-to-peer version of electronic cash that allowed transactions without going through centralized institutions (banks). Most people don’t know that in that same paper, Satoshi defined a distributed way of storing information, nowadays known as Blockchain.
To put it simply, Blockchain is a shared, immutable digital ledger that stores transactions over a decentralized network of computers.
We can divide Blockchain into two simple terms:
This defines Blockchain as a chain of linked blocks, where each block stores a transaction made with specific parameters.
Each block is built on top of another block, creating an irreversible chain of blocks. In other words, every block depends on another. This turns out into a robust and immutable system in which anyone with the correct permissions can review integrity.
Blockchain introduces an interesting set of features:
A lot of systems currently rely on Blockchain, such as cryptocurrencies, asset transfer (NFTs), and possibly in the near future, voting.
It’s worth mentioning that a Python Blockchain has not to be a complex program with thousands of lines of code. At its core, it would be a list of transactions linked to one another.

Without further delay, let’s build a simple Blockchain with Python.
Building a Blockchain With Python
Before starting, let’s define what we’re going to do in this tutorial:
We’re not going to use JSON but Python lists. This will let us simplify the process and focus on applying the key concepts of a Blockchain.
What you’ll need to follow this tutorial:
Creating the Block class
Open your favorite code editor and create a main.py file. This will be the file we’ll work with.
Now, import hashlib, a module that lets us create one-way encrypted messages. Cryptography techniques like hashing make Blockchain create secure transactions.
A hash function is an algorithm that takes some data (usually an encoded string) and returns a unique identifier, often named “digest” or “signature.” This last part is vital; with a hash function, a slight difference in the input produces a radically different identifier as an output. We’ll see this in action later on.
For now, just import the built-in module hashlib:
This module includes most of the hashing algorithms you’ll need. Just keep in mind we’ll be using the hashlib.sha256() function.
Now, let’s get into the GeekCoinBlock, our totally original blockchain name.
I know this may result in a clunky piece of code. Let’s break down each part in the next section.
GeekCoinBlock Explanation
First, we create a class named GeekCoinBlock, a wrapper for objects that will have certain characteristics (attributes) and behaviors (methods).
Then we define the __init__ method (also named constructor), which gets invoked each time a GeekCoinBlock object gets created.
This method has three parameters:
We store the previous hash and transaction list and create an instance variable block_data as a string. This doesn’t happen with real cryptocurrencies, in which we store that kind of data as another hash, but for simplicity purposes, we’ll store every block of data as a string.
Finally, we create the block_hash, which other blocks will use to continue the chain. Here’s where hashlib comes in handy; instead of creating a custom hash function, we can use the pre-built sha256 to make immutable blocks.
This function receives encoded strings (or bytes) as parameters. That’s why we’re using the block_data.encode() method. After that, we call hexdigest() to return the encoded data into hexadecimal format.
I know all of this can be overwhelming, so let’s play with hashlib on a Python shell.
As you can see, a slight change in the input like “Python is great” to “Python is not great” can produce a totally different hash. This has all to do with Blockchain integrity. If you introduce some little change into a blockchain, its hash will dramatically change. This is the reason why the saying “You can’t corrupt a Blockchain” is true.
Using our Block Class
We’ll build an entire Blockchain class later, but for now, let’s use our Block class to create a chain of blocks (Blockchain).
In the same file, create a couple of transactions made up of simple strings stored in variables, for example:

Now, build the first block of our Blockchain by using the GeekCoinBlock class and print its attributes. Take into account that the previous_hash parameter of the genesis block (first block that precedes other blocks) will always be some arbitrary string or hash, in this case, “firstblock.”
Then, we do the same with the second block, but passing the first block hash as the previous_hash argument.
Let’s run and analyze the output we get from this piece of code. Once again, type in your terminal:
For now, you only see text and some 64 character hashes, but this resumes pretty much the mechanism of a Blockchain.
You start with a genesis block, the base of all other blocks.
Anyone can validate the chain’s integrity, and that’s why a Blockchain is such a secure system. For example, if we slightly modify the content of a transaction, say:

Coding a Blockchain
It’s not that clever to base our system integrity on hand-coded variables, so we need another approach.
We have the blocks. It’s time to build a class that joins them into a Blockchain.
Let’s start by deleting our previous transactions and block objects, then using the code below.
