Founder Bios 3

Almondpaw:

She once lived in the warrens of the Twoleg territory with Bloomlily, who offered her shelter when her old Twoleg threw her out.When the Clans fled, Almondpaw wished to repay Bloomlily's kindness by convincing her to join one. Almondpaw picked QuillClan due to being closest to the Oasis.

Ashenkit:

He was a kittypet in the densest part of the Twoleg territory. Owlfleck carried him out when the cats evacuated. When he was at the Oasis, he saw the stars for the first time. With no parents to claim him, he chose QuillClan, where he could be closest to the open skies.

Pythonkit:

She was Ashenkit's neighbor back in the Twoleg territories. Back then, she'd spin him stories about what the city was like when her Twoleg took her out with them. This gave the little kitten a superiority complex. When the Clans fled and split territories, she picked QuillClan not only for Ashenkit but for the potential to venture back out and share her knowledge.

And that's the last of the founders! I have several moons of sketches already, but I'll probably try hand lettering since CSP's text tool has been kind of annoying to work with, so that might mean reworking some frames.

Moon 107-Leaf-bare

Despite being an old lady, Judaschaser (128) is still an agile cat.  She manages to land on her feet nimbly after slipping on an icy rock.  The other cats account her dexterity to her star-blessed status.  Yuccastar (86) is jealous.  Bushmask (117) and Brightfalcon (150) have developed the kind of relationship that Brightfalcon didn’t have time to develop with Stormrush.  They go on walks, admire each other, and dote on their family.  Brightfalcon’s happy to have achieved this life for herself, in spite of everything she’s been through.  She does miss Rosemaryquake and Stormrush, but she still has the rest of her loved ones.  Speaking of whom, Graysong (20) has not been thrilled with how Yuccastar has been running things.  He’s even been complaining about her behind her back.  And she overheard.  Flurrypelt (20)  however, is a fan of Yuccastar.  He glares at Graysong, but his brother doesn't notice.  Pythonkit (4), who is stuck in the healer's den after he got frostbite from sneaking out of camp, has been watching Flintpaw’s (8) training.  He’s a little worried that his own training, as a powerless cat, will be difficult, and asks Flintpaw for advice.  She doesn’t have much for him.  It’s just hard.

This is a blog dedicated to documenting the stories and characters from my ClanGen game, SplashClan!

Story

The four clans once lived in peace until BloodClan came, forcing them to flee their home. While they found a home, new territories beside a lake, fighting soon began amongst the clans and starvation caused the clans to die out. Years passed and a decendant of the old clan cats, Rootmask, discovers that the lake is being occupied by groups of BloodClan-affiliated rogues. Angered that his ancestor's home is being taken over once again by BloodClan, he decides to fight back by reforming the clans. In the end, DeadClan, HeatherClan, HazeClan and SplashClan were formed and the BloodClan-affiliated rogues were driven out.

Moon 15

Two of the kits, Gracklekit and Pythonkit have caught yellowcough

To protect the youngest members of the clan every cat goes out herb hunting. The hunt was unsuccessful.

Pythonkit passes due to yellowcough. Gracklekit is still hanging in there.

Pythonkit is the first cat to join Starclan.

Everyone once again goes on a clan wide patrol to look for herbs. They turn up unsuccessful.

Gracklekit has died of yellowcough.

Freezespots asks Larkgrowl and Frostfreckle to accompany them out for herb gathering, saying that it would be nice to be in the quiet company of friends.

Roarpatch has announced that they are expecting kits!

Freezespots and Hopstar are keeping a close eye on Roarpatch and are insisting that they help Freezespots for the time being.

A kittypet joins the clan, taking on the new name of Cragshadow. They often boast of being a great dog chaser.

Warning!!! Eye injury, scars, blood, and death!

- He goes by he/him pronouns and he is a cis tom.

- He is the deputy of Scuteclan. Scuteclan is a clan full of cats with reptile/amphibian like traits, such as hallow fangs like venomous snakes or color changing fur like chameleons.

- He became deputy after the old deputy was murdered. He found the killer and reported it to the leader, who then made him deputy. At first, most cats didn't think he was good enough but after a month, he proved himself worthy of the job.

- Anacondajester has a snake tail and can hold his breath underwater for 50 minutes.

- He got his prefix because of his pelt.

- He got his suffix because of his personality.

- He has two moms! One is a swimmer named Yellowtimber and the other is a climber named Gilaflower. His parents are still together and are in a happy relationship.

- He has two siblings that were born recently. They are named Pythonkit and Beadkit. He loves them and will fight anyone who even looks at them with slight disapproval.

- His best friends are two twins. The older twin is a swimmer named Frogshell and the younger twin is a medic named Hummingfrog.

- He had an apprentice before he became deputy. Their name is Coralpounce, and they are quiet and reserved but very sweet. His current apprentice is Rattlepaw. She is a spunky little cat who has a rattle at the end of her tail and vemon. Her climber name will be Rattlewave.

- Anacondajester is in a loving relationship with Platypuspond. He loves him dearly and wishes to be with him constantly but knows that it wouldn't be good for either tom. He has thoughts about leaving his clan with his family and running away with Platypuspond but fears they would be caught. He hasn't told his family about his relationship.

Wow! I'm on a roll! These were so damn fun to draw!!!! I loved designing these funky cats. I will go over what all of them are and I'm sorry if I sound like a nerd. I'm going to school for herpetology, the study of reptiles and amphibians, and I just had a great time. Bear with me while I infodump hehe.

Anacondajester is obviously based off a green Anaconda.

Yellowtimber is modeled after the yellow Anaconda.

Gilaflower is from the Gila monster. Which I think look neat.

Beadkit comes from the Mexican Beaded lizard who is a close relative of the Gila!

Pythonkit is based off of a Ball python since I have one. I'm biased.

Coralpounce is from a Coral snake but more specifically a Malayan blue coral snake. They look super pretty! I'll probably make a normal coral snake later.

Rattlepaw is obviously based off a Rattlesnake. Maybe l'll redesign her to be a specific Rattlesnake. Probably a Pygmy Rattlesnake because they are cute and smol!

Frogshell is based off of a Glass frog. If I ever do a full body of him, I'll have his skin see through.

Hummingfrog is based off a Milk frog! My favorite frog!!!

Updates 1

- A small kit named Mouse is dropped off at the border by a loner. The loner cannot care for the kit and had noticed a group of cats settle near the shore, so they decided it would be best for the kit to be raised by this group. Mouse is given the name Mousekit by Jasperstar and is raised by Slitjaw in the medicine den.

-Mousekit’s favorite cat is Daypaw, he feels most comfortable around her.

-Pythonkit is apprenticed to Bassneedle and becomes Pythonpaw.

-Gravelkit is apprenticed to Curlypatch and becomes Gravelpaw.

-Gravelpaw begins admiring Pythonpaw from afar, beginning to crush on the fellow she-cat.

-Oliva is waiting outside of the border, unsure if he should proceed with asking to join these strange cats, when Curlypatch stumbles upon him. He is brought before Jasperstar before being given his warrior name, Olivawillow.

Moons 7-12

Whiteclaw and Nightfeather are assessed and earn their warrior names. Two more former kittypets named O'Leary and Pepper come to the cabin looking for Slightpond, with a stray kit at their side. Slightpond convinces them to join her in the clan. The pair take the names O'Learypaw and Spottedkit, while Pepper declines the name change. With no queens in the nursery, Scorchpaw takes responsibility for Spottedkit. Sharptree rewards his altruism by giving him his full name, Scorchpelt.

Sharptree is struck by another fit of mania. She accuses her apprentice of violating the medicine cat code and bringing ruin to the clan. Scorchpelt wonders if she knows he's secretly fallen in love with Whiteclaw, but when the elderly she-cat returns to lucidity, she remembers nothing of what she said. Scorchpelt worries for her.

Leaf-Bare comes down hard on the clan territories and Ashclan struggles to find prey for the first time. There's some dispute from Birchfur and Seedthroat that Rushpool isn't organizing patrols in the most efficient manner, but Spirestar manages to smooth things over. Whiteclaw, Nightfeather, Rushpool, and Snipswoop successfully drive away a fox and her cubs, and morale remains high until Seedthroat, Whiteclaw, and Spirestar fall ill with greencough. The warriors manage to stave off the sickness, but Spirestar refuses to let the medicine cats use their small supply of catmint on her. One by one her remaining lives are seeped away, and Spirestar passes on at 105 moons old.

As New-Leaf breaks and a new year begins, Rushstar takes his place as leader of Ashclan. He promotes Birchfur to Deputy, telling him his fearlessness in speaking his mind will bring the clan much-needed balance in perspective. Birchfur and Snipswoop welcome a litter of 3 kits: Owlkit, Tulipkit, and Pythonkit. In the background of all the well-deserved celebration, Scorchpelt and Whiteclaw begin a secret love affair.
