In the World of Non Cursed Eda:

After everything is said and done, Belos is defeated and The Collector gets adopted into the Clawthorne household.

Sure the kid thought of King as his sibling, Griff not so much and Dyl…never. He fell for her the moment they first met after she punched him in the face (will elaborate later 😉).

Dyl had a hand in helping raise him and the boy did manage to mature in the span of maybe 8 years. With everyone now older and going off to realize their dreams, Dyl gave the young man his own goal. The Collector (possibly named Collin or Enzo here🤷🏻‍♀️) would set off on a journey to experience everything the Demon Realm had to offer (has to do this w/o his powers).

Dyl set this up for him as to not get attached to him as he’s immortal. She also didn’t want him to be perpetually sad about a family that could be nothing more than a vague memory. She also wanted him to get to know the world that he almost destroyed.

The Collector wanted Dyl to set sail with him but she refused as she planned to be a magic/history teacher for the next generation. She tells him to enjoy himself and send letters if he wants but to not expect any back.

A couple years pass and the Collector goes on many adventures and finds a couple love interests here and there but never stops thinking about Dyl. Every now and then he visits her in her dreams and tells her the highlights of his journey. Dyl at first gets mad that he’s using his powers. He refutes this and says he’s not and that it’s just a dream and maybe it’s just Dyl who can’t stop thinking about him. Dyl believes this to be somewhat true and tells him why she sent him on the journey in the first place (thinking she’s just talking to herself).

An upset Collector rushes back to the Boiling Isles to confront the sleep deprived teacher. He says that he’d gladly give up eternity if he could spend the rest of Dyl’s mortality with her. Dyl says to give her time to see all her students graduate before they move forward with their relationship.

Although there are times the young man can still be a bit childish. He fed into Ulric Blaire’s (Lumity adopted son) insecurities, Meadow Park’s prodding & Olly Porter’s carefree nature and opted to help them find a time puddle to their parents’ teenage years. They all had different reasons for the mission and The Collector’s was for them to return older so they could graduate faster.

Later on in his new mortal life with Dyl, the couple has a set of twins.

some Raine Whispers headcanons because they're the GREATEST

Raine as a bard teacher at Eda's university:

they refuse to go by Mx. Whispers and insist everyone call them "Raine" ("Mx. Raine" if they must)

once a week they get together with Darius (who is an abomination teacher) and get wine drunk and bitch about being teachers

once they were making out with Eda under the bleachers to feel young again and they got caught by the grudgby team (they were mortified and couldn't look their students in the eyes for days)

Raine as a musician:

invents an instrument that Eda can play with her hook so they can do duets again

makes fun of the BATs for being band kids because they're an orchestra kid and that is obviously WAY better

wholeheartedly believes that every mistake they make while playing is actually just because their nails are too long and they would be able to play perfectly if it weren't for that (okay so this one is just projecting but still)

plays the VIOLA and holds violins in utter contempt (yes i am a violist)

one day Luz tells them she wishes she could play the drums and Raine spends the next two weeks figuring it out (also how to do bard magic on a drum kit) so they can teach Luz

Raine as Raine:

HAS TATTOOS

grows hair long enough for a lil man bun that Eda's obsessed with

RAINE WITH SYNESTHESIA

so so so neurodivergent (special interest- sharks. hears about them from Luz and is OBSESSED)

mild swiftie (bonds with Amity over some of Taylor's music)

is actually very good at illusion magic

lowkey ripped (remember that time they carried Eda around no problem???)
