So I was procrastinating again and I might've cooked up an OC. Her name is Rain and the only reason for her existence is that I thought it would be fun to use a firefly's butt as a flashlight in a detective story. She's a neighbor of the Chaotix and occasionally helps on small cases where she knows she won't have to fight because she absolutely can't. Outside of that she earns a little money by streaming video games, but the revenues are still modest, so she sometimes has to stick to the team a bit more to make ends meet. That or offer to babysit Charmy, whatever suits them best. The boy's relationship with her is juggling between friend and buisness partner, but really she's just the weird creature living in their closet.

Maybe Alyafrog catches Ninomoth with her watering bottle or something... -like anteaters' long toungue, I mean, magic tool- Or just use her frog power on him 😅)

Honestly? It was out of nowhere. Half of the episode was about Nino's crush on Marinette and then he suddenly goes to dating Alya?? Even young me was confused. Other than that, it's fine I guess. I don't ship it, (I don't actually ship any ship from the show except for Lukanette and they broke up xd) but I don't mind it when I'm reading something.

As for MD, Alya is a lesbian and Nino is a guy so it's definitely not happening. They're very good friends tho! Nino gets a little crush but gets over it and starts dating Aurore

- He's the son of Mabel Pines and a father he barely knew as he left pretty soon after his birth.

- He's an autistic kid who has a deep fascination for weather and natural disasters. We rarely see him without his little meteorologist outfit and his measuring device, which is the reason why he was nicknamed Rainette (which is a name given to tree frogs).

- His mother decided to bring him to Gravity Falls for summer holidays, after he endured some troubles at school. An opportunity for him to meet many new people, and also getting involved into unexpected adventures that science can't explain yet.

Oooooh yeah, here it is : the famous fankid trope is finally checked! For long I wanted an OC paying tribute to my favorite animated show of all time, Gravity Falls. This epic cartoon inspired me so much about storytelling and characterization that I'm pretty sure most of my creations wouldn't be the same at all if I didn't watch it back then. The only issue I had when thinking about a fan character is : how to make them interesting enough to stand out from the rest of the recurring characters? That's when the idea of a fankid hit me, so I checked what Internet already did, and surprisingly enough, there wasn't that much fanworks about Mabel being a parent ; well clearly not as much as Dipper for example. Perfect, she was my fave character among the good guys, so let's go on with Mabel Pines having a child~!

Kenneth himself is mostly inspired by my dear own brother, who isn't super expressive or talkative despite his absolute fascination for some topics, which is a contrast I always found so funny and cute about him. Weather and natural disasters aren't actually part of his passions though, it was rather me who was captivated about it when I was a preteen. As for "Mombel" as I like to nickname her, I wanted to keep her colorful and lively despite some difficulties she met in her adult life. She's the cool mom very protective with his son, and who's ready to kick butts if anything happens to him. And speaking of that, I plan many adventures for Rainette in this future Gravity Falls, which will possibly involve alternate worlds, disappearances and of course, unexplained climate changes~.
