My Cousin Vinny (1992) dir- Jonathan Lynn

some facts about the movie i find interesting-

•this is one of my favourite movies. a lot of people were considered for the role of vinny gambini, (including robert de niro and danny devito) but joe pesci was cast finally.

•the character of mona lisa vito (played by marisa tomei) was almost cut out of the film entirely, but the scene about the 'biological clock' was what saved it finally.

•this movie is extremely accurate pertaining to the legal court parts of the film, and clips are also shown in law schools

•vinny gambini was originally supposed to be dyslexic

•will smith was originally considered for the role of stanley rothenstein played by mitchell whitfield

•the scenes in the prison were shot in a real prison with real prisoners shouting at the actors in the scene (mitchell whitfield as stan and ralph machhio as gambini)

(i may or may not know this film by heart heh)

Darry Curtis HCS

-He picked up the habit of drinking black coffee from his father

-He doesn't think he is very handsome but we all know he fine as hell aghh

-He thinks Elvis is slightly overrated but he listens to some of his music on the way to work on the radio

-He likes women who are like Audrey Hepburn, idk it's just a preference for him

-He sometimes cry's at night bc he thinks of the fact that he misses his parents and how he feels he's wasting his youth

-He got all of his cooking skills from his mother

-When he has people over he has a separate pot of coffee he makes bc the coffee he makes is much too strong

-When he is at work he works with his shirt off bc he likes the attention from girls but he doesn't tell anyone obvi.
