love in a series of bursts & inches
Ramadan Mubarak ☪️ I am thrilled to share Eid Fic, now known as love in a series of bursts & inches
It’s Eid 2024 and Tarlos is preparing to host Marjan and her parents for a celebratory dinner at the loft, where they will be meeting Joe for the first time. Over the night before and morning of Eid, both TK and Marjan reflect on the past four years in Austin, and the Eids they’ve spent together building a bond as found family.
But found family isn’t really just found. Being surrounded by a group of people who fuel you, she thinks, is intentional. She’s built this network of friends, of people who embrace each other and nurture each other’s strengths in ways none of them received growing up. They see each other, not just how they want to be seen but for who they truly are; messy and tender parts and all. They know what needs to be celebrated and what still needs healing, when to give each other space and when to find each other and drag their asses back home.
These people saved her life on the side of that highway. And now she’s choosing to live it.
Updates every Wednesday during Ramadan, culminating with the final chapter on Eid!
Chapter One On the night before Eid 2024, TK & Carlos prepare the loft for the party and discuss the heavy weight of generational & cultural expectations, and the crushing letdown of failing to stand up to them. Meanwhile, on Eid 2020 TK brings a homesick Marjan to a Turkish tea house where she answers some questions about Ramadan & Eid, and they both reminisce over their childhood memories from some of their own religions’ biggest holidays: Eid & Yom Kippur.
Chapter Two On the evening before Eid 2024, Marjan reflects on her Eid abaya and the traditions behind the clothing she wears for the holiday, and remembers the impact her broken marriage arrangement had on her family and her own future. Meanwhile in 2021, a few weeks after the fire that destroyed TK and Carlos’s house, Captain Strand hosts a barbecue for Eid in his backyard. Marjan and TK discuss the weight of putting expectations on the wrong relationships, and Marjan makes some realizations about found family.

See How Muslims Celebrate Eid al-Fitr Around The World
From beachside prayers in Senegal to colorful festivals in Pakistan, these pictures show the many ways that Muslims observe the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
— By Gulnaz Khan | April 17, 2023
When the sun sets on April 20, Muslims around the world will look skyward for a crescent of pale white light—the conclusion to the Islamic holy month of Ramadan emblazoned in the night sky.
Beginning and ending with the new moon, Ramadan falls on the ninth month of the Arabic lunar calendar. It is believed by Muslims to be when the first verses of the Koran were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad more than a millennium ago. From sunrise to sunset, Muslims abstain from food, drink, and vices like gossip and lying. Not only is it meant to be a period of self-reflection, but to serve as a reminder to be charitable to the less fortunate.
Eid al-Fitr, Arabic for “festival of breaking fast," is celebrated over three days at the end of Ramadan through prayer, feasts, parades, gifts, and charitable giving. Here's a look at how it is celebrated around the world.

Dakar, Senegal 🇸🇳! Senegalese Muslims are seen before they perform Eid al-Fitr prayer in the backyard and adjacent beach of the Mausoleum Seydina Limamou in Dakar, Senegal, on July 18, 2015. Prayer is an important part of Eid celebrations, and is typically performed in the morning along with other community members in an open space such as this one. Beijing, China 🇨🇳! Chinese Hui Muslim men light incense after Eid al-Fitr prayers marking the end of Ramadan at the historic Niujie Mosque on July 6, 2016, in Beijing. Of an estimated 23 million Muslims in China, nearly half are Hui, who are ethnically Chinese and speak Mandarin. China's constitution provides for Islam as one of five "approved" religions in the officially atheist country, although the government enforces severe limits. Worship is permitted only at state-sanctioned mosques and proselytizing in public is illegal. During Ramadan, Hui Muslims fast from dawn until dusk. Photograph By Kevin Frayer, Getty Imagrs

West Java, Indonesia 🇮🇩! Indonesian Muslims attend Eid al-Fitr prayers along the banks of the river Cisadane in Bogor, West Java, on May 2, 2022. Indonesia has the largest Muslim population of any country in the world with an estimated 205 million adherents—or roughly 88 percent of its population. Karachi, Pakistan 🇵🇰! People enjoy camel riding during an Eid al-Fitr festival in Karachi, Pakistan, on May 5, 2022. In Pakistan, Eid is an important time for families and friends to get together to celebrate the end of the fast—and greet each other with a traditional, "Eid Mubarak." London, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿! Two ladies, both named Fatima, take a walk through Regent's Park in London to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. The ritual of whirling dervishes is observed by Sufi Muslims in honor of the 13th century poet Rumi. Though commonly associated with Turkey, NPR notes that there "are now many Sufi dervish orders around the world." Photograph By Anwar Amro, AFP/Getty Images

Los Angeles, USA 🇺🇸! Children in south Los Angeles celebrate Eid al-Fitr. Moscow, Russia 🇷🇺! Muslims gather to offer prayers at the central mosque in Moscow on July 5, 2016. The city is home to about a million Muslims—and the Moscow Times reports that there's limited space at the Cathedral Mosque "so worshippers often spill out onto the surrounding streets." A Palestinian performer amuses onlookers with a wire which ignites sparks on the top of debris in front of Gaza City's Italian Tower, on June 22, 2015. As documented by the Palestine Chronicle, Eid is typically celebrated in Gaza through outdoor prayers, visits to the graves of dead relatives and, on the lighter side, plenty of festivities. Untuk wawasan keilmuan saja, tidak perlu diperdebatkan. 🙏
_Berkah Ramadan Mubarak_
*MENCARI HILAL DI LORONG WAKTU : MENYONGSONG 1 SYAWAL HARI IDUL-FITRI*
Dr. Hamdani Khalifah (G'78)
*_Bulan seakan berargumen: don't cry for me, jangan engkau tangisi aku_*
*Tahun :*
*2024:*
Ramadan 11 Maret, Idul-Fitri 10 April.
*2025*:
Ramadan 1 Maret, Idul-Fitri 31 Maret.
*2026*:
Ramadan 18 Februari, Idul-Fitri 20 Maret.
*2027*:
Ramadan 8 Februari, Idul-Fitri 10 Maret.
*2028*:
Ramadan 28 Januari, Idul-Fitri 27 Februari.
*2029*:
Ramadan 16 Januari, Idul-Fitri 15 Februari.
*2030*:
Ramadan 6 Januari, Idul-Fitri 5 Februari.
*2031*:
RAMADAN 26 DESEMBER, IDUL-FITRI 25 JANUARI 2031*
والله أعلم
*Lhokseumawe, Risalah Misbahul Ulum/RisMu.*
*18 Ramadan 1444*
*09 April 2023.*
Pena : KH DR Hamdani Khalifah (G'78)
Salam Ramadan Mubarak... 🙏🏼

Structures of Mutual Benefit.
Ramadan Mubarak! Wishing Muslim communities a joyful and peaceful month ahead.
MY MORE THAN 20 YEARS OF MODERN SELFCARE HEALTHY STRUCTURAL SUCCESS IS A NEW GLOBAL FRONTIER
PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND CAPITAL
Partners in HEALTHY, Investing in PEOPLE - https://theglobalstructurenetwork.com/how-to-engage-us
Our Modern Selfcare Agenda, as well as my more than 20 years of Healthy Structural Performance and Efficacy, have laid the groundwork for a new Selfcare doctrine. This doctrine, which began to take hold in 2021–2022, is now being transplanted wholesale in other parts of the world.
Our Modern Selfcare Framework is designed to drive the process of discovery as a natural outgrowth of dignity, value, and the full worth of the human person. The Global Structural Network Group and our Global Modern Selfcare Agenda significantly strengthen this coercive force of dignity, value, and the full worth of the human person.
In our Healthy Cultural Value – we see that in 2021 the United Nations Food Summit defines a Healthy diet as:
Health Promoting and Disease Preventing.
We also see a broad change in the conceptualization—a shift from feeding the world to nourishing the world, removing the pivotal intertwining with poverty, and a move to Quality Enhancement. Making way for consumer actions and innovations to be driven by Value and to be socially useful. This shift is technically a call for action that focuses on:
Triumphant Living, The Quantified Self, The Institution of Household Efficiency, Operational Resilience and Efficacy
Disease Prevention, Health Promotion, Cultural Transformation, and Quality Enhancement
Knowledge, Healthy Resilience, Healthy Longevity, Operational Resilience and Efficacy.
It is clear to CEOs and consumers all over the world that our Modern Selfcare Cultural Values of:
Investing in People
Trust and Derisking
Healthy
has emerged as the overriding goal all over the world. Our Modern Selfcare Economy (the Global Structure Network Group) is an attractive offset for producing differential growth and market share. We remain Globally Opportunistic.
Our domains of:
Triumphant Living, The Quantified Self, The Institution of Household Efficiency, Operational Resilience and Efficacy
Disease Prevention, Health Promotion, Cultural Transformation, and Quality Enhancement
Knowledge, Healthy Resilience, Healthy Longevity, Operational Resilience and Efficacy.
is spreading rapidly around the world as a result of the Global Selfcare Economy's recent reconception as a social institution with the Primacy of People at its core. This new conception rejects the bias of quick short-term gains in favour of productive long-term investment, allowing resources to be allocated from a productive and social perspective.
We are building a Global environment driven by realistic opportunities and realities of consumers achieving their Modern Selfcare ambition. A genuine link to performance has led to an uncompromising focus on productivity, performance, and innovation. Today, the Global Selfcare Economy has no stake in consumers, with Modern Selfcare ambitions being in a perpetual state of constant restructuring, so there is a strong focus on the Institution of Household Efficiency – Ownership. Our aim is to increase the share of the Global Social Product for consumers everywhere.
We are still at the beginning of the journey, and we are ruthless in our drive to engage with the various Modern Selfcare relevant communities. Our core business is really strong, we are operating from a position of strength. There is a new global paradigm emerging, and we are confident that the insatiable appetite for Modern Selfcare will not be diminished. We are very fortunate because our agenda has more mission-critical solutions.
There is clear evidence that the Global Structure Network Group and my more than 20 years of Healthy Structural SUCCESS have prompted a shift in attitudes along the lines hoped for by the world. At the core of the Global Healthy Initiatives and Actions in every corner of the world are our three domains. We are the Global Selfcare Business that gives Value to Modern Selfcare.
Delivering the completion of our Global Modern Selfcare premiumisation platform and your dignity, value, and full worth of the human person Products, Services and Capital are our top priorities, not getting into a narrative squabble with Modern Selfcare adversaries and thus staving off their pain.
We are focused on forming partnerships with high-potential companies whose Products and Services align with our strategic priorities in order to propel our global premiumisation agenda forward.
The resources and ambitions are there for more formidable Modern Selfcare efforts and collaboration. Let's go!
Your Dignity, Value, and the Full Worth of the Human Person Root of Trust,
Gary

What is importance of Ramadan in Islam?
Ramadan Arabic: رمضان, romanized: Ramaḍān Ramazan, Ramzan, Ramadhan, or even Ramathan) is the ninth month of the Islamic schedule, checked by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting (sawm), supplication, picture, just as the local area.
