Soooo, what are your thoughts on the latest episode of Despair Time?

Okay, got my affairs in order to talk about this. Despair Time returns after an over 1 year hiatus. Let’s see what we got.

We finally figured out what Charles meant by fucked after all this time. The murder itself could have took place at 7:30 am, not pm. Meaning that why speculation or cloyed perceived previously goes out the window as none of that matters anymore. And that’s what this episode is, the crew realizing they’ve hit a wall and have to chip around it.

There are some good characters moments here and there as they get understand my frustrated at this, but overall, and I am not docking the DRDT Dev at all with this and mean this in the nicest way possible, this entire episode…….was a waste of time. A majority of his episode are spent characters arguing and nagging at each other for mistakes and but were still nowhere close to what actually happened. It makes matters worse when Charles has to chime in and go, “Hey! Can we get back on track, please?! We’re wasting time!” I feel like a lot of scenes could have been cut to make the trial flow better, but hey, I’m not going to backseat ^^;

Now onto the a certain a blue-haired fallen star. David. Now a week ago or so, you’ll recall that I spoke to Suicune saying that I thought David is indeed the bastard he says he is.

Turns out…..I was wrong…

I’ve also mentioned before how I personally think that Xander should have still been alive just so he could see his “beloved hero” turn out to be this giant piece of scum and dirt, and how he doesn’t care about anyone or anything.

….I was wrong…

From how David goes on about Xander, his motivations, his ideals, everything about him up until this point. He cares. David cares. Something pierced his whole edgy persona. David….isn’t the bastard I thought he was.

……Huh… Adding onto this…

Now I’m not saying that David is entirely right here, or some misunderstood soft boy like the canon fandom will make you believe with Nagito and Kokichi. But I was under the belief, I’m sure like many people…that David was empty and had nothing to care for. But look at him now. Talking about something more important to everyone than a bunch of strangers… Does he have that? What is it if that’s the case? How low is he willing to go for this, if at all?

…What goes on in your head, David? I don’t understand you….but it compels me… You intrigue me…I have to know more…

Anyways, after all that. Alibis are questioned and we’re getting nowhere until the cliffhanger of the episode which is….

I’ve had a feeling that Levi’s secret could have been something like that given from what’s left and this confirms it. Of course, this also crosses him off as a suspect because if he were the killer, there would be no way he’d just reveal this outright to everyone.

So who do I think the killer is….I have no idea :/

Like I said, there was nothing truly learned about the case this episode aside from only a few minor things, the Dev was right; we have a loooooong way to go for this trial. It’s just getting started. But, that’s what next week’s all about! Tune in next time when in the next episode, we’ll get-

It isn’t natural to be born or forged without a cog. It’s a defect. An abnormality that occurs during the creation of a new frame.

Oh! There's something I don't think we ever asked. Did Xander become your boyfriend before or after you got your powers?

It was before I got my powers since I got them after running away from my family. And I confessed to Xander shortly after running away.

Which was a good thing since knowing my family, and how hard ir was controlling my powers originally, my father's side of the family would have branded me as a demon and tried to get me killed.

That was a really scary time for us since Aliza and myself didn't know what was going on with her and her powers were going crazy, so much destruction.

Seriously imagine waking up and finding that your entire room has been converted into some icical jungle or that your potted plant turned into some rampaging floral monster, we had to move around so much not only to keep Aliza away from her family, but also an epsiode of her powers would cause too much chaos.

But I wasn't gonna abandon her because of this, I made my decision to stand by Aliza no matter what and I would stick to it.

Welp, it finally happened everybody. Matpat officially went for Bluey. Bad enough going after Paw Patrol and Dora, now he’s finally done a video on the biggest preschool show of our time. Thoughts on P5T thus far?

Okay so real talk I think I'm only four hours into the game, but I'm liking it so far, though!

This is a game that's very for P5 fans because oh my god I think I've sat through SO MUCH MORE cutscenes than actually playing the game. The actual gameplay is growing on me, but I still have no idea what I'm doing. But hopefully as I do more missions, I'll get more comfortable with the system.

Story wise I'm just throwing my hands up in the air. I dunno what's happening, I'm trying not to ask questions I don't want answers to. I don't super know how to feel about how this plot so far is a little less Psychonauts (going into people's mental worlds) and more raw isekai, but I guess PQ is a little more isekai so *makes the I don't know noise*

Tinker Knight Lavenza is delightful here and she's usually a character that I'm like "she's okay"

Joker's mostly unmoving static sprite during dialogue looks like he's dissociating the hell out most of the time

The pronunciation of Marie bothers me but I think it could've been solved if they just put an accent on the e???

If Arsène was a Digimon, the little hat corps members would be his Rookie form

Okay, I haven't seen anyone else mention this and I only noticed it a short while ago, but on the latest news update, instead of them closing out with, "Wave up high", it's instead, "wave down below". Given the famous, "So Below" page, I'm not sure what this is going to lead to, but it sure as heck won't lead to anything good

i did see a few people point this out! wasn't sure if it counted as a discovery so much as just a regular observation, since it's not exactly hidden, but i added it to the observation doc anyway. whatever it's leading to, it's worth keeping an eye out for!

Y'know.......once Sentinel recovers the Matrix of Leadership, there will be no need for miners, since Energon will flow freely, and thus, you won't have to mine anymore. You and your fellow miners will have new jobs to replace your old ones. So, if you had to be anything other than a miner, what would you be?

Apologies for taking so long to answer this, I had to think about it... I know that others might think it's a lame profession but I would love to be a librarian or something that's not too crazy, like a writer perhaps?

There are unfortunately no plans for Tactica right now. We're working on the Last Major Fic in the timeline, which is a Q fic (but not Q2). HOWEVER, considering my track record, I'm not going to rule out anything in the future, because even if it's the Last Major Fic, there's still space for smaller in-between stuff. And I live in this castle in this hole now. XDDD

i literally downloaded Yuzu and P5S on my Odin 2 in the past, like, week??? in the hopes of getting myself back into that game and maybe continuing the liveblog, how tf did you know

It depends on biological function, not the generic frame type. Sires go into rut and carriers go into heat. Both mechs and femmes can be either one.

OOC: Well, I think canon Katsuki would be pissed that the abridged Bakugou did something as horrendous as causing Izuku to get cancer. I know it's supposed to be over the top as an abridged plot point, but I never thought canon Katsuki's bullying was as crazy as basically what one would consider SA? Canon Katsuki mostly tried avoiding Izuku. Though if Izuku tried being "heroic," that would be when he would do things like beat him up or say cruel things to him.

Due to that, I'm not sure how well they'd get along from that point. If somehow Katsuki was able to talk to abridged Bakugou after learning that, maybe they could find some common ground since the abridged Bakugou is trying his best to atone. Likewise, abridged Bakugou would likely think canon Katsuki's actions were shitty in the beginning, but I doubt he'd think they were worse than his own.
