Genuinely concerning how you, an adult, just casually writes about rape and the omegaverse. While also regularly rping with MINORS. Are you fucking stupid. Freak.
It's mentions. Also canonically Richard Grayson is raped, so how about you read some more comics? Maybe then you'll notice that my DC au is fucking accurate whether I've gotten to writing that chapter or not.

A stalker in one thing.
A stalker who is your literal rapist who coerced you into sex by saying it was either that or get beaten up who is using your friend to get to you because he trusts people... that's an entirely different story.
Who then also threatens to out the fact that you were raped as casual sex to your friend that you know wouldn't understand is just... even worse.
That scene, that moment, where Sky is struggling so hard to get away from Prapai but between Prapai (the rich asshole) and Rain (a bit of a spoiled kid) he had no escape that didn't either out the fact that he got raped (which Prapai would paint as fully consensual and leave Rain even more confused) or involved him being mean to his friend which would have the same results.
I don't like Prapai and I especially don't like him because the show has obviously painted the coercive rape of Sky as something Sky should be ashamed of and a point of pride for Prapai. Sky gave consent under duress to sex to save his own life and he's the one the shows thinks should feel bad. He's the one who should 'want more' from Prapai. He's the one who should feel lucky to get Prapai...
But I just feel awful for Sky who is trapped in a place where he has to literally be stalked by his rapist who doesn't think he did anything wrong in a society that would say 'you liked the way it felt and said yes, why are you complaining?' because consent under duress is a foreign concept to most people.
I really hope the show is about Prapai growing and not Sky changing to suit him but I deeply fear MAME's writing style for that.

Game of Thrones - 61 DAENERYS VII (pages 641-650)
Dany witnesses the aftermath of a normal Dothraki invasion, and tries to convince herself it's all fine. Mirri Maz Duur joins the party.
The reader was not mentally equipped for this much sexual assault, and got mean about it.
-
Wounded men moaned and prayed. Jaqqa rhan moved among them, the mercy men with their heavy axes, taking a harvest of heads from the dead and dying alike.
Oh that's interesting. That the Dothraki have a dedicated group to grant mercy kills to the dying, it says a lot about how long they've been doing this as a culture, (the rape, pillage, murder thing) that they've got this group, but it also speaks to the cultural mindset of the Dothraki, that there's no wave of healers, only mercy killings. (Either there are only non Dothraki/Drogo's men being culled right now, or if you can't walk off the battle field on your own, well "sucks to be you.")
The sheep had been dead longest. There seemed to be thousands of them, black with flies, arrow shafts bristling from each carcass. Khal Ogo's riders had done that, Dany knew; no man of Drogo's khalasar would be such fool as to waste his arrow when there were shepherds yet to kill.
...I don't like the way you said that. Why are they killing shepherds? Can't be to take the live stock, the live stock would have to be... you know, alive for that. Swarmed with flies? That's already started to rot. They just gonna take it field to plate wholesale? Nothing for later?
Dany pitied them; she remembered what terror felt like. Mothers stumbled along with blank, dead faces, pulling sobbing children by the hand. There were only a few men among them, cripples and cowards and grandfathers. ... One galloped behind him, lashing him across the buttocksuntil his thoghs ran red with blood. Another snared his ankle with a lash and sent him sprawling. Finally when the boy could only crawl, they grew bored of the sport and put an arrow through his back. ... Ogo's khalasar had been attacking the town when Khal Drogo caught him. She wondered what the lamb men had thought, when they first saw the dust of their horses from atop those cracked-mud walls. Perhaps a few, the younger and more foolish who still believed that the gods heard the prayers of desperate men, took it for deliverance. Across the road, a girl no younger than Dany was sobbing in a high voice as a rider shoved her over a pile of corpses, facedown, and thrust himself inside her, Other riders dismounted to take their turns. That was the sort of deliverance the Dothraki brought the Lamb Men. I am the blood of the dragon, Daenerys Targaryen reminded herself as she turned her face away. She pressed her lips together and hardened her heart and rode toward the gate. ... Slaves, Dany thought. Khal Drogo would drive them downriver to one of the towns on Slaver's Bay. She wanted to cry, but she told herself that she must be strong. This is war, this is what it looks like, this is the price of the Iron Throne. ... Behind them, the girl being raped made a heart rending sound, a long sobbing wail that went on and on and on. Dany's hand clenched hard around the reins, and she turned the silver's head. "Make them stop," she commanded Ser Jorah.
Oh here we are. Damn this chapter is rough.
This is terrifying, and not just for the horrific shit that's happening, but for Dany's reactions and lack there of in places. She still has a limit for what she can tolerate, we see that very clearly when the girl's wailing gets to her, Dany stops the rape, but she's struggling in herself, deliberately trying to ignore people's pain because this is how she's going to get what she wants.
This is the start of a slippery slope, "this is the price of the Iron Throne." Sure. But is it worth it? Because this doesn't stop here, this doesn't stop once you get the Throne, it keeps going.
I do want to point out during her mental self-conditioning, as she's trying to mask her unease and create the hard-hearted dragon self, that her narrative voice refers to her as "Daenerys Targaryen" rather than Dany, which I think is a good way to indicate that there's still a separation between Dany's sense of self and that more "what must be done, must be done" self she's trying to create.
"It pleases me to keep them safe," Dany said, wondering if she had dared too much. "If your warriors would mount these women, let them take them gently and keep them for wives. Give them places in the khalasar and let them bare you sons."
I undersatnd that this is coming from her trauma coping brain, but Dany? Marital rape is still rape. That is still a horrible end for these women.
"Where are the healers?" she demanded. The khalasar had two sorts: barren women and eunuch slaves. The herbwomen deal in potions and spells, the eunuchs in knife, needle and fire. "Why do they not attend the khal?" "The khal sent the hairless men away, khaleesi," old Cohollo assured her. (...) "Many riders are hurt," Khal Drogo said stubbornly. "Let them be healed first. This arrow is no more than the bite of a fly, this little cut only a new scar to boast of to my son."
Ah, there are healers, cool, cool, cool. And two different types, that's fun. (Doesn't quite answer the question of "if you can't walk off the battlefield under your own power, do you get culled?")
... Let Drogo die! Let Drogo die! Let Drogo die!
"Where did you learn your healing, Mirri Maz Duur?" "My mother was godswife before me, and taught me all the songs and spells most pleasing to the Great Shepherd, and how to make the sacred smokes and ointments from leaf and root and berry. When I was younger and more fair, I went in a caravan to Asshai by the Shadow, to learn from their mages. Ships from many lands come to Asshai, so I lingered long to study the healing ways of distant peoples. A moonsinger of the Jogos Nhai gifted me with her birthing songs, a woman of your own riding people taught me the magics of grass and corn and horse, and a maester from the Sunset Lands opened a body for me and showed me all the secrets that hide beneath the skin." Ser Jorah spoke up. "A maester?" "Marwyn, he named himself," the woman replied in Common Tongue.
Mirri Maz Duur, MD.
My goodness though, Mirri might be the most qualified medical personal on... what's this world called? ... The World.
You thought it was GRRM, but it was me, DIO!
Seriously though? Even knowing how this ends for her, I would watch/read a prequel series of Mirri Maz Duur's medical school road trip.
...Is Marwyn the magic researcher maester? ... the wiki says yes.
"She will do no harm." Dany felt she could trust this old, plain-faced woman with her flat nose; she had saved her from the hard hands of her rapers, after all.
... I. That's a bit of a concerning way of thinking. "I saved you so you owe me and won't betray me." Here's the thing: people shouldn't have to owe others for doing the basic human decency, and if they do? that's up the the rescued person to decide, not the 'saviour.'
Furthermore? Mirri probably doesn't know or care that there were two factions of Dothraki invading and raping her and her people, because both of them were there, violating people. From her point of view, for Mirri? Dany saved Mirri from a problem that Dany was part of making.
"Drink neither wine nor milk of the poppy," she cautioned him. "Pain you will have, but you must keep your body strong to fight the poison spirits." "I am khal," Drogo said. "I spit on pain and drink what I like.-"
Great, mix your meds and perish. Take your rapey khalasar with you.

So a few months ago there was the discourse about would you rather meet a man or a bear in the woods. I didn't want to touch it while the discourse was hot and everyone dug in hard because those are not good conditions for nuance, but I waited until today, June 1st, for a specific reason.
I'm not going to take a position in the bear vs man debate because I don't think it matters. What is really being asked here is how afraid are you of men? Specifically, unexpected men who are, perhaps, strange.
People have a lot of very real fear of men that comes from a lot of very real places. Back when I was first transitioning in 2015 and 2016, I decided to start presenting as a woman in public even though I did not pass in the slightest.
I live in a red state. I knew other trans women who had been attacked by men, raped by men. I knew I was taking a risk by putting myself out there. I was the only visibly trans person in the area of campus I frequented, and people made sure I never forgot that. Most were harmless enough and the worst I got from them was curious stares. Others were more aggressive, even the occasional threat. I had to avoid public bathrooms, of course, and always be aware of my surroundings.
I know how frightening it is to be alone at night while a pair of men are following behind you and not knowing if they are just going in the same direction or if they want to start something - made all the worse for the constant low level threat I had been living under for over a year by just being visibly trans in a place where many are openly hostile to queer people. You have to remember, this was at the height of the first wave of bathroom law discussions, a lot of people were very angry about trans women in particular. My daily life was terrifying at times. I was never the subject of direct violence, but I knew trans women who had been.
I want you to keep all that in mind.
So man or bear is really the question "how afraid of men are you?", and the question that logically follows is "What if there was a strange man at night in a deserted parking lot?" or "What if you were alone in an elevator with a man?" or "What if you met a strange man in the woman's bathroom?"
My state recently passed an anti trans bathroom bill. The rhetoric they used was about protecting women and children from "strange men", aka trans women.
Conservatives hijack fear for their bigoted agenda.
When I first started presenting as a woman the campus apartment complex was designed for young families. The buildings were in a large square with playgrounds in the center, and there were often children playing. I quickly noticed that when I took my daughter out to play, often several children would immediately stop what they were doing and run back inside. It didn't take me long to confirm that the parents were so afraid of "the strange man who wears skirts" that their children were under strict instructions to literally run away as soon as they saw me.
"How afraid are you of a strange man being near your children?"
I mentioned above that I had to avoid public bathrooms. This was not because of men. It was because of women who were so afraid of random men that they might get violent or call someone like the police to be violent for them if I ever accidentally presented myself in a way that could be interpreted as threatening, when my mere presence could be seen as a threat. If I was in the library studying and I realized that it was just me and one other woman I would get up and leave because she might decide that stranger danger was happening.
Your fear is real. Your fear might even come from lived experiences. None of that prevents the fact that your fear can be violent. Women's fear of men is one of the driving forces of transmisogyny because it is so easy to hijack. And it isn't just trans women. Other trans people experience this, and other queer people too. Racial minorities, homeless people, neurodivergent people, disabled people.
When you uncritically engage with questions like man or bear, when you uncritically validate a culture of reactive fear, you are paving the way for conservatives and bigots to push their agenda. And that is why I waited until pride month. You cannot engage and contribute to the culture of reactive fear without contributing to queerphobia of all varieties. The sensationalist culture of reactive fear is a serious queer issue, and everyone just forgot that for a week as they argued over man or bear. I'm not saying that "man" is the right answer. I am saying that uncritically engaging with such obvious click bait trading on reactive fear is a problem. Everyone fucked up.
It is not a moral failing to experience fear, but it is a moral responsibility to keep a handle on that fear and know how it might harm others.

The sun and Moon show sun is only a ""victim"" cause he fits the idealised version and because of that most the fans downplayed everything bad he did to his brother with retcons starting with his main truama being stuck in sun's head.
And of quick note the characters I'm talking about are fictional robots but that doesen't matter.
I don't give a fuck much about TSAMS Canon anymore now that they turned sun into a victim Sue but the pain moon causes sun was not on purpose and yet it was constantly implied that it was one of the reasons why I haven't watch new stuff of the show for along time sun's a Mary Sue so no matter what the shows done for.
And sun thought quote ""That moon liked hurting him,,. And not lmmidiately recognise the very obvious truama that he was stuck in his head until moon strait up told him months later seriously how the fuck did so little people not find that psychopathic.
Now here's the bit that makes moon be not considered a victim him threatening and hitting sun well simple counter sun deserves it and he drove moon literally crazy. Back then moon didn't immediately go to it there was a mention of sun taking the wacking stick which I largely view as a comfort item to moon Due to his past of having to fight for literally everything. Also due to sun being mainly in charge of the body I viewed that as a position of power that sun could easily use to hurt moon with.
On the surface sun did a good thing cause Moon was using it against kids well according to sun but sun made moon look after kids when he was obviously mentally unstable after spending years trapped in their shared head and didn't wanna do it in the firstplace. Sun set him up to fail and then prattled on about him being a bad caregiver. This is not the firstime he set him up with job he didn't wanna do all the job simulation VR episodes these was more tame then the first one but notably sun didn't even bother to find something that moon liked doing and moon couldn't tell sun he didn't like these jobs instead he pretended he was bad at them.
Moon can't call sun out or stand up to sun in any way whatsoever without being labeled an abuser oh so what the pain he caused sun while he was in his head was not delibrate I don't care about the shit they put in later cause the damn show started enabling their majority toxic sun worshippers. And there's the bald ""jokes"" Oh what moon constantly gets hated cause of his violence towards sun well often while sun disregarding Moons bodily autonomy is completely ignored.
And there's the killcode I feel like I'm nearly done with main ones but the killcode I equate it to mental illness moon constantly resisted the urge to kill so many times and sun was being a complete entitled bastard about it. Cause look at the points above with how he acted I just assumed that the killcode was an malfunction cause of Sun going out of his way to suppress moon cause with how he was acting is it so wrong for me to come to the conclusion that sun was doing shit like this while off screen or the time moon was strait up suns prisoner from literal birth. But of course sun's easy to woobify and his behaviour got excused by them and everyone's woefully uneducated about what it's like for actual abuse victims (Which I fricken am)
Anyway I'm just gonna briefly get to eclipse I thought eclipse wanted to save moon from sun. And moon had stalkholm syndrome so eclipse had to find a way to lock moon away without him catching on. Unfortunately they ended up making eclipse worst then sun. Eclipse went out of his way to torture moon and the fandom just concluded that he deserves it cause uwu he hit ""perfect innocent"" Sunny cause suns one of those people who get away with whatever they want and if anyone dares retaliate there the bad one. Anyway I hate him and I for a large part that's not the only thing moon had to go threw Moon was stuck in his head so many times and rarely did stuff or thought of himself thats why I think he had stalkholm syndrome. I hated that sun's leniency riddled life is depicted as something everyone should think is the "worst" Ha moon may have gotten ambiguously violated(I think lunar was a result of robot rape but I didn't when it happened cause of how ambigious it is) and tortured in his own head while sun just got to nap is worst and don't give me sun was ""suffering" under eclipse bullshit as far as I was formally concerned moon leaving a part of the killcode in sun was him on some subconsicous level giving sun's own shit back and even so eclipse stile counted as an accident. Eclipse also was never directly had a grudge with sun even through he should have had but this show just happen to be allergic to sun ever being at fault.
I don't want to go threw everything sun did to moon and I thought sun was going on a redemption arch to me after he killed bloodmoon that should have been the sacrificed needed for his mask to slip and for moon to get that sun was the horrible one that was only a ""good person" cause he was the whimpery puppy dog that people see abused people as instead moon died while saying ""Maybe the next me would be a better brother,,(Well technically he got a memory wiped but it's stile just as bad) as a result of a rampage sun went on cause he felt like he should have convient unearned importance just like everything else in his life (I don't give a shit or even sore what sun says to his enabler when moon allways went out of his way for that ingrate)
Then instead of actually letting him actually fully suffer for actually going as far as indirectly killing his abuse victim they introduce a new character just to make him feel better and tell him ""You were allready a good person,,. Bitch what
If he wasn't a covert narcissist then you would be just a privilaged shallow pretty face that everyone despises. I wasn't even fully watching back then I barely know this character but just the fact that nobody called her out on how ableistic, classistic and sexist her sheer existance is just cause she's the one that ""finally gave sun therapy"" when moon died just cause sun couldn't stop guilt tripping moon for one second enough to have a conversation.
And he had the chance to do so TWICE and he just ended up saying that moon did nothing for him bitch you literally just thanked him for everything he did you manipulative fuck you should have stayed in your box. Actually eclipse should have stayed in his space cage as well prison is where they typically put rapists.
I really wish I had discovered the idealised victim tag earlier that way I would have actually put more of my verious vent posts up with it, Honestly I think their doing sun's post moons death depression sympathetic shit while Earth probably flaunts her ""goodness"" privilages now it's been months since I've watched a current episode
But dude you only care about your brother after he fricken died and became someone not with the truama you caused dude fuck you.
And Earth fuck you for being the reason that two of the few people that can can call sun out on his shit is now now dead
And fuck you show writers for doing this shit and not doing you damn research properly and went ""respect the process,, the one time you provoked your own fandom.
I guess I do not see the point of this anymore since sun's a Mary sue there's no way he's ever gonna truely gonna stop being ""sympathetic"" but whatever might as well put it up anyway

i haven't posted in a long time about Palestine but I just don't know what to say anymore.
Human Rights Watch reported recently on the Israeli military torturing health care workers. I won't describe it. It's the worst and most detestable level of human capability for cruelty. They were trying to force the doctors to confess to being part of Hamas and in some cases threatened to do horrible things to the doctors' families.
I don't understand the reaction of people that still support Israel. They think the attack by Hamas was terrible and unjustifiable—Yes, I understand that part
But we have reliable reports from numerous news and human rights organizations that the Israeli military is doing all of the same stuff and worse.
People say "I think what Hamas did is unacceptable", but supporting the actions of the Israeli military means they think those things are acceptable. If killing massive numbers of innocent civilians and torturing and raping prisoners for being "maybe" associated with the enemy is okay, why the hell would Hamas make you upset.
Are crimes against humanity "okay if you feel like it's a good idea" or are they bad. MAKE UP YOUR GODDAMN MIND

non-normative sexuality is not the root of sexual abuse or rape. for a huge amount of history in a huge amount of the world, sexual abuse and rape have been thoroughly normal (cf. marital rape exemptions being removed from US legal codes as recently as 2019). rapists are not 'freaks' -- the default, 'normal' paradigm of sexuality across the world is one of violent misogyny. 640 million women are or were child brides and the men marrying them are not abberations or exceptions, they are normal. men who engage in endemic workplace harassment or frat boys who assault women are behaving in a way that is 'normal', they are fulfiling the gendered expectations for expressions of heterosexual sexuality when they harass and catcall and abuse women. projecting sexual violence onto the specter of the obviously deviant, abnormal outsider is a scapegoating mechanism intended to sanitize and exonerate the cisheteropatriarchal standard of normalized and ubiquitous sexual violence

Game of Thrones - 68 DAENERYS IX (pages 726-736)
Dany finds her footing in the aftermath of her demonically induced miscarriage.
-
Over his shoulder, she saw her three handmaids, Jhogo with his little wisp of a mustache, and the broad face of Mirri Maz Duur. "I must," she tried to tell them, "I have to..." "... sleep, princess," Ser Jorah said. "No," Dany said. "Please. Please." "Yes," he covered her with silk, though she was burning. "Sleep and grow strong again, Khaleesi. Come back to us." And then Mirri Maz Duur was there, the maegi, tipping a cup against her lips.
huh. well that's interesting. Assuming this isn't part of a fever dream, the fact that not only is Mirri not imprisoned, but also allowed to tend to Dany. Either the herbwomen are still refusing to tend Dany and her inner circle are very desperate, or Dany's inner circle don't think Mirri should be arrested right now.
"My son was alive and strong when Ser Jorah carried me into this tent," She said. "I could feel him kicking, fighting to be born." "That may be as it may be," answered Mirri Maz Duur, "yet the creature that came forth from your womb was as I said. Death was in that tent, Khaleesi." "Only shadows," Ser Jorah husked, but Dany could hear the doubt in his voice. "I saw, maegi. I saw you, alone, dancing with shadows." "The grave casts long shadows, Iron Lord." Mirri Said. "Long and dark, and in the end no light can hold them back." Ser Jorah had killed her son, Dany knew. He had done what he did for love and loyalty, yet he had carried her into a place no living man should go and fed her baby to the darkness.
So it's confirmed, Rhaego died specifically because Dany was taken into the death magic tent?
"You warned me that only death could pay for life. I thought you meant the horse." "No," Mirri Maz Duur said. "That was a lie you told yourself. You knew the price." Had she? Had she? If I look back I am lost. "The price was paid," Dany said. "The horse, my child, Quaro and Qotho, Haggo and Cohollo. The price was paid and paid and paid." She rose from her cushions. "Where is Khal Drogo? Show him to me, godswife, maegi, bloodmage, whatever you are. Show me Khal Drogo. Show me what I bought with my son's life."
Hold up a sec.
Now Dany says "The shadows have touched you too, Ser Jorah," because Jorah looks visibly wrecked. Dany not only had a demonically caused miscarriage, she was also in that tent, but she's bouncing back pretty well. Her baby was alive and kicking before she went into the tent.
I think I'm about to say something controversial, but hear me out?
What if Rhaego's death wasn't paying for Drogo's life, what if it was paid to protect Dany's from the shadows? (Or to pay for the eggs, it is a little interesting in terms of timing that it went '"don't want to wake the dragon" Vision of Rhaego as an adult spewing fire then dying "want to wake the dragon"' in Dany's vision/fever dream)
... that's probably going to be definitively jossed in a paragraph...
A count might show a hundred people, no more. Where the forty thousand had made their camp, only the wind and dust lived now.
Ah, so more likely Mirri's not arrested because they were very desperate.
"Saved me?" The Lhazareen woman spat. "Three riders had taken me, not as a man takes a woman but from behind, as a dog takes a bitch. The fourth was in me when you rode past. How then did you save me? I saw my god's house burn, where I had healed good men beyond counting. My home they burned as well, and in the street I saw piles of heads. I saw the head of a baker who made my bread. I saw the head of a boy I had saved from deadeye fever, only three moons past. I heard children crying as the riders drove them off with their whips. Tell me again what you saved." "Your life." Mirri Maz Duur laughed cruelly. "Look to your khal and see what life is worth, when all the rest is gone."
You know, I know I'm supposed to be umbridged on Dany's behalf right now, but Mirri isn't wrong, and Khal Drogo was a piece of garbage, I am not sorry for his loss.
I'm sorry for Dany's loss, I'm sorry she tricked herself into thinking she was in a healthy relationship, and that she's just had her entire world torn apart yet again, lost all the powers and attachments that protect her, I'm sorry that every time she finds a place she can be happy that it's torn away from her, but her husband lead a band of murdering rapists on an eternal pilgrimage of rape and slaughter and slaving. He was Not the good guy here.
Also, other things I want to talk about:
Mirri technically didn't confess to killing Rhaego. She talked around the point and said things which could easily suggest she did it on purpose, even her 'cruelty' didn't reveal itself until she was giving Dany the bad news, given the mental state Dany was in, I'm not 100% convinced we have a fully unbiased account right here.
No one in this series is a reliable narrator without bias, we know, we know, this chapter really was two women's righteous anger and thirst for retribution hitting boiling point in a way that brought them into conflict, with the narrative voice pushing us to side with our POV character.
We also don't actually know that the ritual was completed properly, given that Jorah barged into the tent with Dany, this might not have been the intended out come or the ritual might not be capable of repairing brain damage, and either way, it could be that since Mirri already knows she's going to die she taking the chance while she can to express her own anger and injuries.
Also, also:
If I look back, I am lost. x 4 (should I add it to the drinking game do you think?)
Her initial fever dream was about running from shadows, the idea that if she looked back at them, they would catch her was there like an undercurrent through the dream.
I feel, like this chapter is supposed to be IT. The turning point in Dany's character, it is very much driving home the idea that she has no turning back anymore, whatever she decides from here she has to see it through or die trying. The young girl she was before, the one who dreamed of a quiet peaceful life, in the house with the red door, as the wife of a powerful khal seeing the peace of the Dothraki Sea (before the khalasar destroyed it beneath their hooves), that's gone now, the Dany that's beyond her reach forever.
(I mean, obviously it is, she just killed Drogo properly, so that's off the table.)

honestly the reason I'm so confident in myself when I talk about transandrophobia being real is because I remember what it was like to be ace in 2016
any random blog could come out against aspecs at any time. didn't matter what their content or gimmick was. and if they did come out supporting us, they'd be harassed and sent death threats. it even happened to thomas fucking sanders, who was generally seen as beloved before that (at least from what I saw)
the last major aspec discourse I remember seeing in that era was when someone said "it's bad to rape asexuals". that was all they were saying. and so many people arrived from nowhere to say "actually, aces are the ones withholding sex in the first place, which is abuse, so it's fine"
and when people replied to this saying "you're condoning rape. this is rape apologia," these people doubled down, trying to find reasons why it was okay
so now when I hear "transandrophobia isn't real you don't need a word for that" I remember "aphobia isn't real you don't need a word for that" and how the latter spiraled into justifying corrective rape so easily

dominique pelicot frequently upskirted young women. he tried to rape a 19 years old girl when he was 28 and is now charged with rape and murder of Sophie Narme. he was training another man to make his wife be sexually abused by tons of men - him included (he raped her a lot of times). he also took naked photos of his daughters-in-law and of his own daughter. all this without counting the fact that he carefully crafted a rape ring around his drugged, 70 years old wife for 10 years, with 70 different men. he gaslit her and you know what? the only thing he said is that " he did nothing wrong, he drugged her because he did not want her to suffer". he does not see the rape ring he created as immoral.
theres AT LEAST 90 men IN THE ZONE GISELE PELICOT LIVES who would rape a 70 years old woman if they could. those men are ordinary. you can not recognize them as outwardly bad. they are nurses, truck drivers, firefighters, fathers, boyfriends, husbands.
it blows my mind everytime i think of it. i cant wrap my head around it. dominque pelicot could be my father. could be my brother. my uncle can be part of a rape ring association and i could never know about it. how many of the men i pass on the street would rape someone the age of my mother, if they could? it makes me vomit. there is no rehabilitation. why isnt it the most important topic on the news? is it because they can't find ways to blame the woman?

Here's a summary of what's been happening in Sudan the past couple of days. It's gotten to the point where women are asking for contraceptives for fear of getting raped by RSF forces.
