Lewis Pullman characters as summer foods | 0.5k | Headcanon? I don’t know how to categorize this, me trying to be clever and funny, a tiny bit suggestive because Viv’s thirsty.

𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄 ▹ So, the first day of summer in the northern hemisphere is this Friday! I quickly slapped this together in celebration, because I have beeeeen waiting for summer to arrive. Again, I still haven’t seen all of his films so I’m going off vibes. Feel free to disagree lol.

Todd Stevens is the big thick slice of sweet, subtly tangy, juicy watermelon (chilled first, of course, we aren’t heathens). The kind you bite into without a care for how it’s smearing all over your cheeks. The juice dribbles down your chin and your arms, but you literally could not give less of a crap. You have as many slices as you fucking want and nobody would bat an eyelash.

Harrison Knott is shaved ice with cherry and blue raspberry syrup. Kind of boring and maybe it doesn’t always look all that satisfying, but you know what? It gets the job done.

Bob Floyd is an ice cream sundae from that hole in the wall diner just down the street, the one with a flickering neon sign in the window and a jukebox in the corner—looking so sweet with the rainbow sprinkles, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup.

Calvin Evans is a nice cold glass of lemonade. Refreshing and sweet, with just the right hit of sour—the kind where, on a hot summer’s day you are just so damn parched, and you can’t help but gulp it down.

I’ve also decided that Rocco Gauthier just cannot be a sweet treat or dessert. He has to be a thick, juicy burger. Handmade, the kind you make for big family cookouts/BBQs. Or a jumbo hot dog. Must be sandwiched between soft and airy brioche buns—complete with all the toppings. You complain it’s too much, and you practically have to unhinge your jaw to take a bite but when you do? Your eyes are rolling back into your head with how good and satisfying it is.

I think Ben Mears might be a good old-fashioned s’more. Warm, gooey, sweet… and a slight hint of smoke after being toasted over an open flame. So perfect on those slightly chillier nights under the stars.

Major Major is a classic ice cream sammy, but it’s your favourite flavour sandwiched between two real cookies of your choice. It’s a little messy, but boy do you have fun eating one and it’s soooo satisfying.

Jordan Weaver is frozen yogurt or a sorbet of some kind. Never your first choice, and quite honestly, you shit on it as a concept for the rest of the year. But on a hot enough day? You ain’t gonna to say no.

Miles Miller is a nice slab of ice cream cake. You honestly can’t go wrong with one and even if you aren’t a cake person, it’s still pretty dang good and always hits the spot.

Bob Reynolds is a big pile of full-fat creamy soft serve swirled tall into a waffle cone. Maybe even dipped in chocolate if you’re feeling adventurous. An indulgence, an expensive one, one that you’ll start getting every other day if you’re not careful. The extra calories go straight to your hips and thighs, but who the fuck cares when it tastes amazing and makes you feel so damn good?

Thomas Keefer is that funnel cake from the big amusement park you go to with your friends every summer. Expensive as shit, never as good as you remember it, the portions get smaller every year, and you promise you won’t get it again the next time you’re here… but if you’re being honest, you know that’s a lie.

Rhett Abbott is a rocket pop because I would draaaag my tongue all over that thing, ‘nough said.

Bucky love mocha ice cream. He's not typically a sweets eater, but when the team goes out for it, it's his #1 go to. He gets chocolate sprinkles on top, nothing else. He doesn't mix flavors or go all out with toppings, he knows exactly what he likes just how he likes it. The team definitely call him an old man stuck in his ways, but he's heard that a thousand times and refuses to be peer pressured into getting something he doesn't like just because they think he's boring.

Alexei considers himself a man of elite taste and that's why he gets roasted by everyone for continuously ordering bubblegum ice cream with gummy bears and whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles. Yelena especially thinks it's the grossest order she's ever heard and refuses to try it no matter how much Alexei offers. Despite being one of the oldest on the team, he is notorious for eating too much and complaining of a stomach ache afterwards. He won't hear the slander of his choice (the best choice, as he calls it) and will sit by himself to eat it in peace. Bob is the only one both brave and foolish enough to try it and though it's not for him, he thinks it's fitting for Alexei.

Yelena almost always orders birthday cake ice cream. It was her and Natasha's favorite growing up and she did everything to be like her big sister. She orders it more for the nostalgia and less for the taste, though she is a huge fan of the frosting swirl and cake batter chunks. She doesn't put any toppings on it, she gets just how Tasha did. Alexei notices this, but doesn't say anything about it. He worries it would upset her. She gets it in a cone, high enough for it to fall over and splat on the ground, which has happened more than once, but she's completely against eating it from a cup. The cone is part of the whole experience, she's adamant about that.

Ava is such a fruit girl. She loves strawberry, raspberry, mango, blackberry, jackfruit, etc. Strawberry is her go-to, but if there's something interesting like kiwi ice cream on the menu, she's getting it. She gets fruit chunks and whipped cream on top, too. It's not as "out there" as Alexei's order nor is it as boring as Johns, so no one has anything to say about it. Sometimes she'll get chocolate syrup on top too, but just a little. She doesn't want to overpower the fruit flavor. She loves sharing with Bob, who thinks she has great taste and will, if he can't decide or there are too many options, copy her order knowing whatever she decides, it's going to be good.

John is notorious for having the most boring order. It's not even worth it for them to make fun of him. Soft serve vanilla in a cup. He likes that it's simple, that there are zero risks in change of flavor or texture. It's the same wherever they go to get ice cream. They gave up a long time ago trying to pressure him into being adventurous. Even sprinkles are too much for him, to Alexei's horror. He *might* get a chocolate vanilla swirl if he's feeling "fun" to which Ava can't help herself and will make jokes at his expense until she's blue in the face. They compare his order to saltines or cardboard, something so boring and flavorless, and even ask him if he hates flavor. John doesn't budge. He likes it and it makes him happy.

Bob doesn't really have a go-to order, it all depends on what he's feeling as well as what the others get. When he was a kid, he loved cookies and cream, and still loves it, but there are so many flavors and combinations he's never tried, he doesn't want to miss out. He's not afraid to order things that don't go together (last time it was a scoop of pistachio with a scoop of superman with peanuts and gummy bears on top) and still eats it even if he thinks it's a little gross. Putting enough whipped cream and chocolate sauce and anything will taste good, right? The others love waiting for him to decide and often bet on what he's gonna try. Alexei especially loves trying his orders. He's the one who introduced him to bubblegum.

Ohoho, how I’ve awaited the day to write some lee!Capsaicin. Please forgive me if I misspell their names at all, I may be a writer, but I cannot spell to save my life. Seriously, if you scroll through my fics you’re guaranteed to see at least five spelling mistakes. Anywho, enjoy!

“Capsacian Cookie!” Kouign-Amann Cookie called, an irritated air to her voice. It was already a boiling day outside, hot enough to melt butter and cream in seconds, and the flaming hot hunk wasn’t helping any. Even whenever he stepped away, she could still feel the heat!

“What?” Capsaicin Cookie looked at her, a dorky grin still on his face- it’s like he wasn’t aware of what he’s doing! He probably wasn’t, it’s in his nature to be spicy, but sometimes his obliviousness was quick to get on one’s nerves.

“You’re like the sun!” The paladin wiped the sweat off her brow, the spice overlord grinned “Thank you!”. “No, not like that!” She groaned “You’re making the world itself feel like an oven.” She sighed, fanning herself, “Normally I can handle it, but not today, hon.”. Capsaicin Cookie bashfully scratched the back of his neck “Aw, but you love my spice. Besides, we could always hit up a pool or something.” He offered, Kouign-Amann Cookie scoffed lightly “I’m not jumping into lava. And if you’re talking about a water pool, you’d probably evaporate it.” She said, he shrugged “Touché!”.

He scooted closer to the paladin, walking his fingers over to her shoulder in an attempt to pull her in. She scooted away “Don’t even, you’d burn me alive.” She huffed.

Capsaicin Cookie pouted “Come on!”, he slid his arm around her, the contact against her dough made her start sweating even more.

Kouign-Amann Cookie had a knee-jerk reaction to the touch, she immediately pushed him over, landing herself on top of him. Her hands hovered over his sides. “I’m warning you! Keep pushing and see what happens.” She raised her voice a little, her cheeks flushing a bit. Capsaicin Cookie grinned smugly, lifting up his hand to poke her side, “Push.~” He cooed. The paladin let out an amused scoff “Nice try, but I’m not ticklish.” She said “However, I’m pretty sure you are!” Her hands darted down into his sides, digging into his dough.

He let out a girlish squeak and started laughing “Nohoho! Hahahaha! Ahahaha!” He was loud about it, too. It felt like the earth shook with each giggle. However, Kouign-Amann Cookie was stubborn, she wouldn’t let go! Her fingers danced and twirled precisely around every ticklish spot. It was days like this that made him consider actually wearing a shirt.

“AGHHH! AHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHA! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!” He kept laughing and laughing, sparks began to fly as the poor guy thrashed about. Yet, alas, she wouldn’t stop tickling him!

”Coochie coochie coo! Coochie coochie coo!” She teased, scratching at each individual rib. She also made a point to trace each line of his muscular build. Capsaicin Cookie’s voice cracked and his eyes went wide, he began laughing even harder at the sound, “NOHOHO! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHA! AHAHA!” He squealed indignantly as he flailed his legs around helplessly. He rocked back and forth like a turbulent ship, but the paladin wouldn’t move an inch! “STOP IT! STAHAHAHAP IT!” He pleaded, even more sparks began to swirl in the hot air.

Weirdly enough, Kouign-Amann didn’t even feel the blistering heat anymore, she was far too focused on giving him what for.

She brought her head down, her blond curls falling over her shoulder and brushing over Capsaicin Cookie’s sides. With a deep breath, she exhaled it into his stomach with the loudest, rumbliest raspberry’s he could muster. The spice overlord began to snort with every breath he could catch, laughing hysterically. The sound echoed throughout the open air, it wouldn’t be a surprise if it traveled through every mountain and valley of the world. “HAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA! AHAHAHA! NOOOOO! LET GOO!” He screamed “I’M SORRYYYYYY! HAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHA! AHAHA!” He kept laughing and laughing.

Finally, Kouign-Amann Cookie let go of him for a moment, “You’re sorry? For what?” She tilted her head as she asked, teasing him. “For p-pushing it!” He put his hands up in defeat “No more, please! I beg!”.

The paladin contemplated it for a moment, then smiled, “Alright, I’ll go easy on ya!” She said, pecking his cheek. “But… I can’t guarantee I won’t do it again.” She winked. He gulped nervously.
