happy pride reccing some anti-assimilationist, anti-capitalist, and abolitionist books and texts
BOOKS
Why Are Faggots So Afraid of Faggots? edited by Matilda Bernstein Sycamore (2012)
"Whatever happened to sexual flamboyance and gender liberation, an end to marriage, the military, and the nuclear family? As backrooms are shut down to make way for wedding vows, and gay sexual culture morphs into "straight-acting dudes hangin' out," what are the possibilities for a defiant faggotry that challenges the assimilationist norms of a corporate-cozy lifestyle?"
Transgender Liberation: A Movement Whose Time Has Come by Leslie Feinberg (1992)
This pamphlet is an attempt to trace the historic rise of an oppression that, as yet, has no commonly agreed name. We are talking here about people who defy the ‘man’-made boundaries of gender.
Transgender Warriors: Making history from Joan of Arc to Dennis Rodman by Leslie Feinberg (1996)
[Leslie Feinberg's] book celebrated the resistance to transphobia and a vision of trans liberation articulated from the perspective of class struggle. It understood that no liberation from transphobia or any of the divisive and violent oppressions in class society is possible without the transformation of capitalism into socialism.
The Faggots & Their Friends Between Revolutions by Larry Mitchell (1977)
Stories told of these times make the faggots and their friends weep. The second revolutions made many of the people less poor and a small group of men without color very rich. With craftiness and wit the faggots and their friends are able to live in this time, some in comfort and some in defiance.
Also this interview
Gender Outlaws: The Next Generation edited by Kate Bornstein, and S. Bear Bergman (2010)
Today's transgenders and other sex/gender radicals are writing a drastically new world into being.
Made In India: Decolonizations, Queer Sexualities, Trans/National Projects by Suparna Bhaskaran (2004)
Made In India explores the making of "queer" and "heterosexual" consciousness and identities in light of economic privatization, global condom enterprises, sexuality-focused NGOs, the Bollywood-ization of beauty contests, and trans/national activism.
That's Revolting: Queer Strategies For Resisting Assimilation edited by Matilda Bernstein Sycamore (2008)
As the growing gay mainstream prioritises the attainment of straight privilege over all else, it drains queer identity of any meaning, relevance or cultural value.
How To Blow Up A Pipeline by Andreas Malm (2021)
Malm argues that sabotage is a logical form of climate activism, and criticizes both pacifism within the climate movement and "climate fatalism" outside it.
On Connection by Kae Tempest (2020)
On Connection is medicine for these wounded times.
Are Prisons Obsolete by Angela Y. Davies (2003)
If you know anything about Angela Davis—anti-racist activist, Marxist-feminist scholar—you know that her answer to the question posed in the title is "Yes." This is a short primer on the prison abolition movement
Becoming Abolitionists: Police, Protests, and the Pursuit of Freedom by Derecka Purnell
This profound, urgent, beautiful, and necessary book is an invitation to imagine and organize for a less violent and more liberatory world.
Black Marxism by Cedric Johnson (1983)
Influenced by many African American and Black economists and radical thinkers of the 19th century, Robinson creates a historical-critical analysis of Marxism and the Eurocentric tradition from which it evolved. The book does not build from nor reiterate Marxist thought, but rather introduces racial analysis to the Marxist tradition.
The Transgender Issue: An Argument For Justice by Shon Faye (2021)
[Shon Faye] provides a compelling, wide-ranging analysis of trans lives from youth to old age, exploring work, family, housing, healthcare, the prison system and trans participation in the LGBTQ+ and feminist communities, in contemporary Britain and beyond.
Burn The Binary: selected writings on the politics of being trans, genderqueer, and non-binary by Riki Wilchins (2017)
This single volume offers a selection of Riki’s most penetrating and insightful pieces, as well as the best of two decades of Riki’s online columns for The Advocate never before collected, from "Where Have All the Butches Gone," to "Attack of the 6-Foot Intersex People"

The Nuclear Family Was A Mistake by David Brooks (2020)
The family structure we’ve held up as the cultural ideal for the past half century has been a catastrophe for many. It’s time to figure out better ways to live together.
Universal basic income seems to improve employment and well-being by Donna Lu (2020)
Extinction Isn’t the Worst That Can Happen by Kai Heron (2021)
"This brings us to the third problem with eschatological framings of the climate crisis: they overlook the fact that for many, the end of the world has already happened. In October last year, Nemonte Nenquimo, a Waorani woman, mother and leader, wrote a desperate letter to the western world reminding us that for Indigenous peoples, “the fires are raging still”."

Acceptance Speech (video and text): The National Book Foundation Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters speech by Ursula Le Guin
Hard times are coming, when we’ll be wanting the voices of writers who can see alternatives to how we live now, can see through our fear-stricken society and its obsessive technologies to other ways of being, and even imagine real grounds for hope.

Marvel OC Number 2:
Name: Rebecca Sitwell
Story: X Marks The Spot (link to Wattpad version here!)
Pronouns: She/Her, changes They/Them later
Short Bio: An orphan given a home with Jasper Sitwell, Rebecca only ever knew SHIELD. It was Rebecca’s life. This unhealthy devotion is challenged when partnered with Aaron Johnson on a mission, and meeting a bunch of people who help Rebecca discover who the person behind that name and badge really are.
Personality: Loyal to a fault. Compassionate. Empathetic to everyone, though this can start to become unhealthy when Rebecca can get lost in that. Insecure because of the SHIELD dying during the HYDRA uprising and losing a sense of self. Desperate for approval. Unsure of who they are. Friendly. Deeply loving to those Rebecca calls friends.
Relationships with OG Team:
Daisy Johnson and Rebecca Sitwell
Daisy didn’t trust Rebecca at first when they met in “The HUB”. Daisy thought Rebecca was too loyal to the set of rules SHIELD had laid out for them all. However, she then grew to respect for Rebecca, seeing how the agent risked their life for Aaron and was loyal to him and the mission. They had a talk, where Rebecca revealed about their time at the orphanage and how SHIELD was their life. After that, their dynamic grew, with Rebecca even telling Daisy about some of Aarons quirks before Daisy herself noticed them. They became friends, close friends. During season 3, however, there was a sort of strain on them, with how they wanted to handle the Aaron situation. They both wanted to help, but were going about it different ways. Their rough patch, however, didn’t deter their friendship. They were still loyal to each other, despite their approaches to helping their friend. Within Season 4, when Daisy sees the pair again, she is happy to see her friend, just as elated as Rebecca is. Close friends/Sibling-like dynamic.
Jemma Simmons and Rebecca Sitwell
Jemma respected Rebecca as a SHIELD agent the moment the two met. Jemma was mainly worried about Fitz, but knew he had Ward; and knowing Aaron had Rebecca was a calming measure to her as well. When the pair returned, Jemma patched Rebecca up as well, pitying the agent for not knowing that their own father sent them on essentially a suicide mission. After that mission, Jemma felt an instinct to protect Rebecca. She became an older sister to the agent, keeping tabs on them where she could and being protective, especially when REAL SHIELD revealed themselves in Season 2; Jemma was especially defensive of Rebecca during this segment, keeping them close and stepping in when needed. When Rebecca has her breakdown, it is Fitzsimmons who comfort them, and help them find the will to keep going. During Season 3, Rebecca was a torn between finding Simmons, and dealing with the growing Aaron situation on the side, but Jemma never held any ill will towards Rebecca for the choice they made. Close friends/sibling figures.
Leopold Fitz and Rebecca Sitwell
Fitz was intimidated by Rebecca at first because of their status as a field agent, but was indebted to them after being a distraction for Fitz and Ward’s mission. Like Jemma, he too felt sorry for the agent when Rebecca learnt of the suicide mission they were sent on. He became a calming presence to them after. They carried guilt in Season 2 for not visiting Fitz as often given his brain injury, but he wasn’t angry at his friend. He even trusted them to help him when the BUS had a virus on it. When REAL SHIELD revealed themselves, Fitz too became a wall to protect Rebecca, and Rebecca repaid that favour by being protective over Fitz when they had to work with Ward. Close friends/Sibling Figures
Aaron Johnson and Rebecca Sitwell
Aaron and Rebecca met and were partnered up for a mission during “The HUB”. The two were professional with each other, if a bit standoffish at times, but worked well as a team. As the mission progressed, they began to respect each other and be open with one another more. Rebecca stayed with an injured Aaron, ready to face down anything while awaiting pickup. Rebecca stayed with Aaron while he recovered. After that, the two started a friendship. Meeting once again in “SEEDS” the two continued to bond, learning more about each other and trying to keep one another out of trouble. When SHIELD fell, Aaron wanted to know if Rebecca was ok. The two didn’t reunite until Season 2, where they were partnered up and tasked with going off the grid and taking down high value members of HYDRA. The two seemed to slip back into professionalism mode, but their strong friendship shone through the cracks with certain interactions such as supporting each other or even Shari and a bed at one point. Aaron got Rebecca to loosen up, while Rebecca helped Aaron see the good that was within him. Season 3 proved difficult for the pair, with them being on opposing sides and Rebecca tracking Aaron down. But when they met, Rebecca let Aaron go, knowing he would be ripped to shreds otherwise. When they reunited in “The Ghost” in Season 4, things were dicey between them, but Rebecca still tried to be Aaron’s friend. As the arc continued, their friendship as rekindled, despite some low ends. Best friends.
Phil Coulson and Rebecca Sitwell
Coulson respected Rebecca as an agent, but Coulson was a legend to Rebecca. However, after learning of his friend sending his own daughter on a suicide mission, then his betrayal of SHIELD, Coulson becoming a fatherly figure to Rebecca. He was concerned for them during Season 2, but always did what he could to try help them and keep them from burning out. During Season 3, this reached a peak, with him seeing how everything going on and Aaron’s whole statuation was destroying Rebecca Sitwell from the inside. While he didn’t approve of a romantic relationship she had with an agent within SHIELD, he didn’t stop them. When the agent died, he comforted her, hating to ask her to then track down Aaron. Rebecca shut themselves down, and had little contact with Coulson. However, during “The Ghost” Coulson has mellowed a bit, but still a fatherly light for Rebecca. Friends/Father-child bond
Melinda May and Rebecca Sitwell
Melinda May intimidated Rebecca at first. But they soon found a method whenever they worked together of professionalism. However, May still looked out for the agent in her own ways, though more subtle than she did with others. The main look into their bond came within the “Ghost Rider” arc in early Season 4. When May came to New Orleans to aid the pair in their investigation, she took care of Rebecca when they turned to alcoholism to try and deal with everything. Rebecca, when falling asleep, accidentally called May “mum”. And while May didn’t correct their words, she did pause. Friends/Mother-child bond

Enhypen Legal Line as Kinks 18+
Tumblr media
❤️‍🔥pairing: Enhypen L.L.!bf x Reader!gf | ❤️‍🔥wc: 500| ❤️‍🔥summary: Enhypen Legal Line and their kinks with you...IMO |❤️‍🔥cw: 🔞MDNI!! sexual innuendos
Tumblr media
💄희승 | Heeseung — role play = kinky dress-up sex — hot omg help:
I can really see this as one of Heeseung’s kinks. I’m sure he’s got some more, but this is definitely one.
Heeseung would want you to surprise him in your new sexy outfit. He’d literally brick up almost instantly when he sees you. After that, he’s gonna fuck your brains out while telling you how you’re such a ‘good girl’ for him. DONT FORGET TO STRIPTEASE FOR HIM…otherwise he’ll be the one ripping your clothes off.
“You look so pretty when I fuck you.”
“Mmm, good girl,” he smirks before smacking your ass.
😈제이 | Jay — ddlg = alpha dom — dominant, passionate:
Jay is such a husband. I feel like most of the time sex with him would be very romantic.
But when he wants to spice things up, he knows how to rough you up. I can see him taking control in the bedroom.
Jay would come home from work and find you waiting on the bed for him to dominate you.
“Hope I didn’t keep you waiting too long,” he’d smirk before removing his belt to tie your hands.
“I couldn’t wait to come home so I could fuck the shit out of you.”
🤤제이크 | Jake — edge play = overstimulation — kinky, playful, horny:
I feel like Jake is the type of guy who loves to play so edging is right up his alley.
Whether he’s overstimulating you or being overstimulated himself, he loves the sensation of nearly exploding and teasing the hell out of you.
Jake would get you in the mood by randomly caressing your intimate places.
“I know you want me as bad as I want you,” Jake would whisper in your ear before gliding his fingers across your pussy.
“I love it when I tease you and you beg for more.”
🫦성훈 | Sunghoon — 24/7 kink = permanent consent to sexual advances — possessive, dominant, horny:
I know I’m not the only one who sees Sunghoon as a hyper sexual person.
On top of his high sex drive, I think he is the type to want to use you as his little sexdoll that he can fuck whenever he pleases. His possessiveness adds to his dominance as he loves to degrade you and praise you at the same time.
“You’re such a slut for me…and I love it.”
“Ugh. You’re making me so horny right now I just wanna bend you over and fuck you.”
😳선우 | Sunoo — praise = he likes to give and receive words of affirmation — shy, apprehensive, crazy once u get him going:
Sunoo is pretty shy and I see that trait bleeding into his sex life.
I feel that you may have to initiate sexual activity most of the time. Not that he’s disinterested, it’s just that he’s too shy to admit that he wants it. But once he gets started he goes wild.
You give him the ‘im horny’ gaze and he instantly blushes. So you start to rub his inner thigh, just enough to get him started.
“Ngh. You ride me so good, Baby.”
😏정원 | Jungwon — voyeurism = likes an audience — teasing, playful, wild:
I don’t know what it is…but something about Jungwon reminds me of Heeseung. I feel like he either wants someone to watch him fuck you or watch you fuck someone else.
I could see one of the other members walking in while you two are fucking and instead of telling them to leave he wants them to stay and watch.
“I wanna make you scream my name.”
“Mmm, I could fuck you like this all day.”

Meals for One
Preparing food is an act of care for oneself and others. For Longreads, Sharanya Deepak writes about the joys of learning to cook for herself:
“Now, when I cook, it is after I have read Rebecca May Johnson’s Small Fires, which teaches me to focus on my gestures. I avoid the need to text her every time I am moved by how she recalls action. Instead, I slice a malta orange. I watch my hand dip into the cut-glass box with chaat masala I stole from my mother and watch the masala emerge, tucked into a small steel spoon. I watch myself take the cluster off a head of garlic, I watch myself heat butter and mix honey in with it to put on toast. I watch myself.
In these gestures, a new person emerges, a person that understands sensory preferences, who can witness herself move. I have never known this person. I like her. I tell her about how I always thought that pleasure belonged to someone else.”

Zehina & Nat ramble - Innie 1🖤
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jeongin may be the maknae of the group, but that doesn’t stop him from pampering you, the love of his life. He would plan the cutest dates for you two, acting all casual, as if he didn’t stay up all night looking at websites for the best dating spots nearby. Just don’t call him out on it, he’ll deny it until the very end, taking this fact to the grave with himself. Even if you get a sneaky picture from one of the other boys of his hunched over form, determination glinting in his tired eyes as he is scrolling on his laptop, notepad in his other hand. Just don’t, otherwise you might have a dead baby bread on your hands, flushed skin and all.
Whenever you catch him planning out another date, he’ll flash you that bright, shy smile that makes your heart flutter every time. He quickly changes the subject, asking about your day and telling you about his. The effort he puts into making every moment special for you, picking the perfect cafe that plays your favorite songs or surprising you with midnight trips to the beach, only shows how deeply he cares. He usually tries to play it all down, pretending it doesn’t mean much, but you know how much thought he put into every little detail, and you would never cherish it any less.

Pack your bags, Famers! Our annual winter trip is taking place in Ireland! On February 17th, all celebrities will be arriving at the Adare Manor to kick off our trip! Named the #1 resort in Europe in 2023, Adare Manor sits on 840 acres of pristine parkland.
"It’s prestige without pretense and magic without nonsense. Above all, it is the sense of belonging. You are known. You are family. You are home."
UNDER THE CUT, YOU’LL FIND THE LIST OF ROOMMATES!
Unless we got a message from you telling us you wanted to be with a specific person or were not in the ships list - you were included in the generator. If you do not see your FCs name on this list, please message us POLITELY and let us know - sometimes a name gets missed getting put into the generator. We’re human and it happens! At the same time, if your FC is on there twice by any chance then please let us know. Again, mistakes happen. As we accept new applications and people come into the group before AND during the event, this list will be updated. Same will go for if people get unfollowed or ask to leave the group. We posted the pairings in advance so that you may reach out to your roommate and get new interactions going! Even if a mun is on hiatus, be sure to reach out to them so that you can see if you can head-canon some interactions or plan for something when they are off hiatus. All trips are to encourage new interactions and unlikely connections!
PLEASE LIKE THIS NOTICE WHEN YOU HAVE READ IT AND SO THAT YOU CAN KEEP TRACK OF THE LIST UPDATES!
