Okay now I'm curious- I try to recommend fewer shows that I think are pretty well known these days, but I wonder if most of them are as well known as I think. Here's my list and my question, remember it's heard of not even necessarily listened to:

hey again audio drama tumblr. I’m a fucking nerd and I’m doing a thing rn

i am a science nerd at heart and as such I’m making a list of podcast recs based on different branches of science (If you like physics/chemistry/astronomy/zoology/etc you should listen to [podcast] type of deal). If anybody wants to drop shows that either a) features a scientist character or b) has a general plotline/themes that line up with some branch of science or other I’ll be indebted to you forever 🙏 I’ll be using it half for the list and half as recs for myself. Tbh. Because I love myself a good podcast scientist

When you realize these two things.

Two things:

That scene in the finale which is bellissimo. PICTURE PERFECT. Because she is about to touch his hair/head and he bends down juuust enough because he craves her touch her affection her love really that much and also so that it's easier for her to reach him. Because even fitting into each other like puzzle pieces is not enough in that moment.

But then you also realize that she is reaching out to part his hair/bangs ever so slightly, almost absent-mindedly, because she is confirming he doesn't have a scar there, like he used to in the ALT 2023 timeline. He doesn't have it anymore. As if that's the last bit of evidence she needed for her own peace of mind, a silent verification, to make sure her Seon Jae is finally, really, safe. A proof that her prayer has been answered in the end.

Of course she knows. She's been there all along, after all. But after everything she--and they both--have been through, I don't think either of them can quite believe it in this moment. That this is it, it's over: she doesn't have to look for any impending doom coming his way, and he doesn't have to fear losing her to the most heartless adversary that is time.

I cannot gush enough on the writing of this show.

I encourage you all to take one as well. This is very disparaging news. And everything unknown that surrounds it (if s3 is going to be dropped, if DT and MS are going to speak up or drop the show themselves etc etc and all of that). I think it is a good time to go support your favorite good omens fic writers and artists and remember that we as a fandom have put in a lot of creativity and we arent the ones who did something wrong.

I don't really know what to hope for but if what the victims say is true I hope they get justice for what has happened to them. I hope this gets legitimately investigated and that we can all get some closure.

But for now, you aren't wrong for loving Good Omens and the world it's created. You arent wrong for wanting to make art and wanting to enjoy art about it. This all sucks.
