I was going to post about this yesterday, but I ultimately ended up feeling too sad to write anything (I also didn't just want this to be a text post)...

Anyway, for those of you who maybe don't know yet, Tales of Asteria will be shutting down/ending service on May 18th at noon JST (or late on May 17th if you live in North/South America)...😞

I will be forever grateful to this game for giving Kratos the four outfits in the first four screenshots, because without this game, there would probably be no official art of these outfits (especially the swimsuit one). I'm also grateful for the inclusion of his Yomiuri Land art, and I'm hoping I can preserve this art in the transfer over to Rays along with the other four.

I also just wanted to thank the nameless artists for all of the beautiful outfits/costumes they've made for not only the Symphonia cast, but for all of the other Tales games as well over the last nine years! It has truly been a wonderful experience for me to play this game the last 2.5+ years, and I don't regret any second of it (I wish I had started playing it sooner, if I'm being honest). I'm going to be very sad when this game shuts down in just two short months...

So to commemorate the game, a memorial art book is going to be released in late July, and can be preordered here (you will have to use a shopping service in order to preorder it). It's going to include about 540 pages of 4⭐ and up character art from the game, and the special edition is also going to include an around 160 page reference art/character design book along with it. Preorders run through June 25th (I think, correct me if I'm wrong, please!) or until they sell out.

I'm going to be playing this game until the very end, and a couple of the things I'm going to focus on until then is rerecording/recording Kratos' voice clips from the 6⭐ versions that I have of him, and also post screenshots of the Symphonia cast's 1 - 3⭐ art since that's not going to be included in the memorial art book, so please look forward to that over the next two months! Sunny Hollis is thirty-three years old and owns Fleurs Bloom. She lives in the Iris district. At the moment, she is dating Jeremiah Hawthorne. She has no birthmark. She is currently Open.

→ Without the past, we’d be nothing…

If one asked her how they looked, she would tell them the truth. If they did not approve of the honest answer, no one but the one asking would be to blame for wanting to know. She’s upfront about everything except who she truly is. Sunny was born Nadia Sunny Vorshevsky, and she has been in the witness protection program for a bit over a year. Her father turned out to be a Russian Mob patron who turned FBI associate. Her mother was killed on her way to testify at the trial for a Lower Boss, which lead to Mister Vorshevsky and Nadia to be immediately sent into the WPP, the government trying to protect their best assets to take down the quickly growing organized crime in the North Eastern states. Her father was sent to an undisclosed location to her as the same agency placed her on the small island town of Asteria, sealing off all of her records and filing up new ones for the girl’s new identity.

The fact that her adoptive family was stringed high up in the mafia circuit was never kept a secret from Oakley. Of course, no one ever told her the exact trades that went around and what would happen if people didn’t pay up, but she had a fairly vivid imagination. Being homeschooled with her cousins was not an option, but mandatory as the children were part of the Big Family from the start, no outside socialization until they could be trusted. This led to her chatting up the constant line-up of bodyguards at every corner, causing the muscles to adore the lively girl.  She lived a carefree life for the most part, at least until the Italian mob kidnapped her along with eight of her peers. The ordeal was an intense and terrifying one as they were all chained up in a dingy room with their eyes closed, the screams of those who would not talk ringing though the walls. The muscles came through however, and they were released safety. That was the last string for her father, having his daughter in danger was the one thing he would not stand for, and that was when he turned on his own people.

Living on the small island of Asteria is like having her very own piece of heaven, the small community feels more like home than her home ever did and she has settled in quite nicely. Sometimes she wonders who she would have been if her life had been normal from the start, she would most positively not be in the situation she is now. Sunny’s cover includes her working as the town florist, it is a dainty job she rather enjoys and being the one to bring a smile to someone’s face upon a delivery was always a plus. There is a certain customer who has been coming in more frequently than not lately, a shy man with jet black hair and the most polite of words.

× Jeremiah Hawthorne → The two have been dating for a while now, but Sunny hasn’t told him her secret yet. Not sure if she really wants to, and she’s thinking about breaking up. Never being the type to settle down or drop a gear.

× Felix Hawthorne → Her best customer at the shop, he’s an interesting character and Sunny gets a kick out of making him blush.

× Joshua Camp → He’s a magician, and she’s all about disappearing so they’re friends. 

×  Sophie Turner → The girls always hanging around the flower shop, Sunny was thinking of hiring a delivery girl so she can stick to attending the store.

okay but Jason Todd (titans!) falling for single mom reader…

He’s out late, finally back in with the Titans, trying to clear his head. His fingers itch in anticipation to take the drug the Scarecrow made, but he couldn’t, he wouldn’t.

At first, no offense, he thought you were stupid. Who walks around with their kid in the middle of the night? You wore some sweats and an oversized t-shirt, jacket over your shoulders as your son bounced next to you. “Momma, you remember that red guy we saw from the window one day?”

You froze. “What?”

“Yeah, the guy with the red hood! Or, helmet. Helmet.” He hummed as you squatted down, stroking his hair.

“Yeah baby, I know. Why are you saying something about him?”

“He’s jumping around,” Ozias says, looking around. “Oh! There he is!”

You quickly pick him up, fixing him on your hip. “Come on baby, we gotta go.”

It made Jason’s heart twist slightly as you cradled your son, looking around frantically as you walked past buildings. Jason followed you, interest peaked before he realized how deep you were going into Gotham, brows furrowing. Why would a girl like you live in such a dangerous place?

You ignored the howling of men, hand pulling your son’s face closer to your neck as you walked faster. Ozias looks up from your neck, quickly finding Jason and grinning, his small teeth straight and pretty. The young boy waves making Jason smile under the helmet, waving back before you turn a corner.

Jason quickly jumps to the building top as you try to go around a man, the tall figure quickly blocking you. “You’re late on rent, Y/N.”

“I just paid you! It’s not my fault you lose your money!” You try to slip around him before he grabs Ozias’ hoodie. “Hey! Let go of him-!”

Jason truly didn’t expect to be that pissed off at the movement, his gun going off way faster than he could think and the bullet shooting through your landlord’s side. It wasn’t the first time you saw someone get shot in front of you, but it was the first with Ozias in your arms.

He starts to wail, his ears ringing as you quickly cover his ears. You could barely understand what he was saying from the ringing of your own ears, Jason jumping down from the roof smoothly.

A gasp escapes from your lips as you stepped back, Jason sliding a suppressor onto his gun before shooting the man a few more times. You could hear the whizzing of the bullets as you begin to step back even more, keeping Ozias’ face tucked into your neck.

Jason exhaled as he puts the gun back into his holster, looking up at you. “You alright?”

You nodded. “Yes. Yes, thank you.”

He looks around. “You got another place to stay?”

You shake your head, but nod. “I’ll get a hotel closer to Gotham’s police department. Like they’ll do anything, but it’s better to try.”

Jason shakes his head. “Come on.”

You scoffed. “Why would I go anywhere with you?”

Ozias peaks out. “Momma, why can’t we go with Hood? Hood’s good guy.”

Jason grins under the mask, offering you his hand. “See? Little man’s got it. Hood’s good guy. He won’t hurt you.”

With that, you shift Ozias’ weight to your side, stepping over the body of your dead landlord and taking his hand. “Don’t make me regret this, Red Hood.”

He snorts. “I won’t.”

Taking his hand sealed the deal of being pulled into a world of havoc in Gotham and the want to get away from the Red Hood, but Jason Todd made you stay.
