Details and analysis of 3H outfits

There is a reflection of the house color in the uniforms of students. Although the examples presented in the image are non-recruitable characters, when you recruit students, the color of the reflection in their uniforms will change to the color of your chosen house.

The Byleth academy uniform concept is based on the concept of student uniforms in modern japanese media. Such as the female uniform, which is based on a japanese female student uniform in terms of a hairband, short skirt, andwhite stockings. The male uniform is based on a uniform from the Taisho period.

Female summer clothing is based on the Patra's uniform with the color scheme reversed, the reason may be due to Petra's nature that adapts to hot weather. However, male summer clothing is based on Felix's uniform🤔

The evening wear consists of an Aiguillette which symbolizes honour, and a stylized design of Pellegrina which has a rhombus (males) and heart (females) shape on its edges, with a standard CoS pattern on the males sleeves and females skirts. The female skirts specifically are the same design as the nun's which both contain the pattern of Sothis' dress. Since the evening wear is intended to celebrate Garreg Mach's establishment, it is only natural that the design combines a formal uniform with CoS clothing.

Duscur

The children wear clothing similar to ancient Egyptian clothing, but the clothing of the man and woman closely resembles those of northern europe. (However, I may be wrong, so feel free to add to this post if you know more about the type of clothing of the Duscur people)

All clothing of the Duscur people of this feature a pixelated pattern, and color schemes of teal, light orange, vanilla, and red cords.

The design of their jewelry appears to be a mixture of wing symbols from cultures such as American Indians, Egyptians, and Persians.

Almyra

This man from the VW end mural wears clothing similar to Nader's, and with a color scheme similar to Claude's and the color purple, which symbolizes royalty in persian culture, he is very likely the king of Almyra.

What I found interesting is that although Almyra is inspired by Persian culture, Nader and king's clothing is similar to Tibetan clothing. However, this is not a problem, there is no shame in drawing inspiration from a number of different cultures to make a culture in a fantasy story, as is the case with Duscur.

Dagda

From the clothing of the man on the camel and the helmets of the soldiers, Dagda appears to be inspired by Ottoman culture.

The reason I believe they are from Dagda is because there are many Shamir's design elements at their design.

Well, my statement that "there is no shame in drawing inspiration from a number of different cultures to make a culture in a fantasy story," this is an example of the opposite.

This man from the CF end mural wears the emblem of the kingdom, but his clothing style is that of the alliance. Why🤔

This is from like March so it isn’t my best work, but I wanted to show some of my efforts to change up the whole blue eye thing. Some of it (Sky, Wild, and Wars) still shows up in my new stuff :)

I’m gonna go a bit more in-depth so if you don’t want to read it might not want to open this

Sky I wanted to look really innocent, because that’s how people perceive him (don’t be fooled he’s an absolute gremlin). I also gave him glowing diamonds/rhombus pupils (you can see them in that other drawing I have of his eye. I like drawing eyes if you couldn’t tell). The red is for his loftwing. Also freckles are cute.

Four’s eyes are meant to be similarly shaped to Sky’s but more narrowed. They’re brown at the base, but have ‘rainbow’ reflections throughout them.

Ignoring Time’s markings, the big thing I want to be noticed is how angular his eyes are. I tried to reference the whole low-poly thing but idk how well it came across. Also made sure to keep his eye color super saturated to tie into how bright the colors are in oot.

Twilight’s eyes are a droopier version of Time’s eyes, with more lashes. Also they are a bit more green and have red/yellow on the inside and slit pupils. He had plain blue eyes before coming into contact with Twili magic, but changing your shape so many times has consequences. Also you can’t see it here but I like to think he has tapetum lucidium. I might rework his a little.

Wind’s eyes are big and round, like a toon Link’s should be. I tried to show light filtering through water, but idk how well it worked.

Legend is TIRED and has purpleish blue eyes because someone said it’s be cool once. Idk there wasn’t much thought for his.

Hyrule’s eyes are green, and change shape like a cartoon character. I think it’s be cool and also a fun show of passive magic. He doesn’t even realize he’s doing it.

Warriors has deep blue eyes and impeccable makeup. Classic pretty boy.

Wilds right eye has Shekiah runes in it, and his left is blurred out as a way of showing damage without just pushing it off or being too gory. Also he’s got the same eyeliner as in game because I like it.

Look i spend way too much time thinking about these boys

Etymology

Likely from Latin, "Trans" modified to "Tra" meaning "Through", "Across" or "Beyond" + "-gender", an Engish neologistic suffix indicating genderedness.

Originally, the definition was worded as, "a gender that stretches over the whole spectrum/orb-y thing of gender", which I reworded as it is written above.

Elaboration

Tragender is an interesting identity in that it doesn't just occupy a given point or function represented on the gender spectrum, but rather the whole spectrum itself.

A Tragender individual is every gender, no gender, every combination or derivation of any and all genders, being all identities available to them as well as anything and everything beyond and between. The limitless nature of Tragender could be described as total, complete, comprehensive and/or absolute in nature, which could be collectively referred to as a Totingender, or a as a gender that is Totaline-in-nature (TOTIN). This gender occupies all available gender arities.

I decided to use an vertically error-barred rhombus to represent Tragender, as the gender spectrum is frequently represented using a diamond. The error bars extend from the diamond at the top and bottom to represent encompassing the entirety of the gender spectrum.

Pride Flag

This is a redesign of the flag I previous created for Tragender on my old blog, Gender-Resource (terminated). My original flag was based off of the Tragender pride flag design by tumblr user Genderqueer-Dream in May 2019 (link) [PT: My original flag was based off of the Tragender pride flag design by tumblr user Genderqueer-Dreram in May 2019 (link) ./. My first Tragender flag was near-identical to the one created by Genderqueer-Dream, with the only difference being that the second-to-last, sectioned multi-color stripe was removed for the simplicity of replication.

The redesigned flag (of a redesigned flag) in this post was created by Gent (Gender-Jargon) in June 2024. This flag's stripes are oriented diagonally from the bottom-left corner to the top-right corner. In the top-left and bottom-right corner, there are four stripes of the same width and same orientation. The left corner stripes, from left to right, are blue, green, yellow and white. The right corner stripes from left to right are dark grey, scarlet red, indigo and purple. The background of the flag is light tan in color. In the middle is the Tragender symbol, an vertically error-barred rhombus.

My previous Tragender pride flag lacked stated symbolism, as the flag it was based upon did not have a stated significance of design. This new, redesigned flag, however, has means assign to it's imagery. The components of the pride flag have the following meaning:

thinking about how duck and red are two sides of the same coin, opposites yet exactly the same. duck is a square, a cube if you will. he desperately wants to be in control of something, anything. deep down though he wants nothing more than for the trio to be a family because that is where he feels most safe and secure. duck’s can’t live without their flock. he acts out of fear though he’ll never admit it. any slip up on his end could lead to the trio separating again. so he clings to his clipboard and does his visual inventory by compulsion. duck does it to feel some level of ‘control’ because what choice does he have? he hates feeling weak, but most of all he hates the thought of his friends being anywhere but with him.

red on the other hand is a rhombus/diamond, a square slightly tipped to the side. on the surface it seems like a different shape but they have the same amount of sides, and the same dimensions. red says he wants to be dead because in his eyes its the only way he can gain some level of control over himself, though true death will never be an option for them within the cycle. those sweet moments of darkness might be nice for a second but then before he knows it the lights are back on and the house is spinning again.

transport and electricity highlight how duck and red will never have the same courage yellow has to confront his discomfort with the cycle. both will inevitably continue to run from that discomfort. red runs from everything all the time, like duck’s death, or the three of them being a family. he runs from his discomfort with the cycle in transport, and it is far from his first time doing something similar. red is too beaten down to question things like yellow does. deep down he cares for the other two, realistically he can’t live without them, but he wishes he could. red associates them with the house often, and the things he himself can’t be. duck on the other hand runs by desperately trying to hide the fact that hes terrified behind his ego and abiding by the rules. he is consistently beaten down and devalued by it, duck has long since given up questioning why these things happen to him. why would he fight back when bad things will continue to happen to him regardless? the trio could be split up for all he knows,it could put their little family at risk. so when yellow starts questioning things in electricity,duck is not just worried that his friend is acting differently, and out of the norm its also a reminder of the fact that he will never be able to do the same.

they’re not allowed to feel much of anything, forced to put forward the often worst parts of themselves, forced into character types they don’t want to play. red and duck bicker, but its not out of hatred for each other, quite the opposite really. they respect and care for each other deeply, though they would rarely ever admit it. red, because of his general avoidance, and duck because he assumes its already implied. they huddle together when yellow starts acting ‘wrong’ in electricity because the sense of familiarity they have with each other is comforting. both puppets love and care for yellow, but fail to truly understand him and his point of view. as long as they’re in the light the trio’s interactions with each other will be hollow and limited. for duck and red the only time we see them truly open up around each other is in the dark. only then do they realize they actually like looking at each other. ‘my housemate has really pretty eyes actually…. why am i only just now realizing that.’ they see each other in the fridge scene in a way they’re denied most every other time. they realize that they genuinely enjoy each other’s presence and appearance all while barely being able to see each other. its both intimate and sad. the scene is abruptly interrupted when red and duck question where yellow is who shortly after appears to have come back down stairs, accidentally letting the light back in. anything that was just said goes straight into the shredder. the trio will never be on the same page ever. no real change will ever be made for duck and red with their egos and vulnerabilities getting in the way. so while duck and red have the potential to make each other better on paper, they will more than likely make each other so much worse, they are puppets bound and choked by their own strings.

so. you don't know what monochrome syndrome is or what it's about.

monochrome syndrome is a project I'm currently working on. I'm calling it a project because i don't want to spoil it and tell everyone what medium I've chosen : )

now, about the story.

monochrome syndrome is set in a sort of cyberpunk-ish future, where everything's not as interesting as it is in real cyberpunk stories. yes, we have prothetics and evil corporations, but no cool hackers (or they have become programmers that work for said corporations) and etc.

in a certain country after a long recession suddenly new reforms have passed. 4 ministries get their own headquarters in four cities. their workers wear patches in different shapes and colours - a yellow Circle for the Ministry of Culture, a green Triangle for the Ministry of Education, a blue Rhombus for the Ministry of Healthcare and a red Square for the Ministry of Defence. and people decided to call those ministries The Figures.

in this country there is a small town, Serenity. and here lives Taursa Remorter, our protagonist. Taursa struggles with post-traumatic depression, which drove her away from family and friends. Taursa works in a library, while doing programming as a hobby.

one day a man enters the library. he quickly becomes a regular. his name is Don Paleo and he slowly, but surely wins over Taursa's trust enough to call him her friend.

unfortunately, he vanishes as unexpectedly as he arrived into Taursa's life - one day he leaves a cryptic note for Taursa, the next day she finds him in the missing persons list. the day before he disappeared he said to Taursa: "never trust The Figures. i will meet you on the other side of the labyrinth."

Taursa ventures off to find Don.
