I see a lot of people blame Sylvie this episode but can I just say that I feel sorry for her? after everything she was put through — mind you, she quite literally got her life stolen from her since she was a child — I understand her rage and why she thought killing a Kang variant was something she had to do. not even out of the joy of the revenge but of necessary. and in the end she chose not to kill him. if anything the scene reminded me of that scene in Hawkeye finale where Yelena forgave Clint for Nat’s death. I’m not saying Sylvie “forgave” Victor, but in the end she realized she didn’t have to punish him for something his variant did, something she believed he would do in the future, something he hasn’t done.
and it didn’t take Loki’s words to make her stop. it took Victor’s own words to make her realize she didn’t have to do this.
yeah, there’re many things in this show to criticize, but in my opinion this scene was done right and it showed that Sylvie was capable of feelings just like everyone else; she was angry, in pain, scared for the safety of her new home and the people she cared about there. so sparing Victor was clearly a hard decision for her to make. but she did it in the end. for me, this is a promising character development.

Sylvie’s face crumbling as she watches Victor plead for his chance to live his life and his ‘I’m not like the other variants of me’ and Miss Minutes wanting autonomy and valuing her free will and Renslayer declaring she is order before Sylvie comes in with a wave of green light, not even needing to say ‘and I am chaos’ and Loki thanking her with his eyes and Sylvie letting go of her obsession because she is tired and things are only going up from here, folks!

Where do you think he got that book? If you and the TVA hadn't messed with him, he'd have remained harmless.

Good evening, Lokius nation! I offer you meta, and theories based in meta.
I don’t have the fortitude to crosspost this long thread to tumblr and certainly not before episode 2x04 drops. But you may read it on Twitter if you wish.
