Playing Until Dawn got the first time where I'm actually the one holding the controller because I wanna play the full game and get my personal favourite ending before the movie and the remaster/remake comes out:

On one hand despite my typical shaking hand problems, I literally got no moment whatsoever in the first Don't Move, so I think playing that weird meditation minigame from Wii Fit Plus years ago has actually given me some benefit.

On the other hand, it had been so long since I have used a PlayStation controller and am struggling so hard to remember which button is which. I am very worried for the quick time events as this game progresses.

it's kind of weird to me that they didn't bother releasing sushi and tempura internationally at all but at the same time i'm kinda glad they didn't cuz like. yo-kai watch was financially failing in the west by the time 3 released. i feel like if they had released sushi and tempura the franchise would've completely tanked before we got sukiyaki which would've sucked. honestly if anything i feel like it's more surprising that we got all three versions of 2 instead of them just releasing psychic specters but tbf i think yo-kai watch was doing well in the west when 2 released. 2 is just inexplicably what killed the franchise despite being a masterpiece-

Iirc, that part included a part where Ellie talked to Cat, just before she goes to get a drink/talk to Jesse. Halley Gross was going to, or maybe already has done the VA work for Cat. Gosh. ❤️ when playing Republic Commando how whenever Boss (AKA Delta Squad Leader AKA RC-1138 AKA 38 AKA Clone Commando Sergeant Boss) drew his BlasTech Industries DC-15S pistol, he would always spin it - just like Jango Fett, Boba Fett, Captain Rex, etc.

Also ❤️ that right-to-left laser-wipe that would clear away icky fluids that splattered on your helmet's T-Visor after any close encounters with hostiles & your Armor's trusty Knuckle Plate Vibroblade.

A-A-AND also ❤️ discovering a Jedi's lightsaber aboard the assault ship The Prosecutor which led to this line from Boss: "An elegant weapon for a more civilized time, eh? Well, guess what? Times have changed…!"

It's little details like these that make the lore of Star Wars, Star Wars video games & the Star Wars universe so immersive & enjoyable.

⊗ superhero cartoons to watch when little!!! (or big, they're that good imo!!) ⊗

✧.* i've been wanting to make this list for a while now, mainly because i wanna talk about my fav cartoons/open up opportunities for other littles to find something awesome to watch!!! there's gonna be a lot of ranges in age ratings to add some variety for older/younger littles :)

✧.* also, i'd like to put a disclaimer here and say that a lot of these are on streaming services that i own, but other littles may not. i would also like to say that there are ways to get around a paywall if you can't afford certain streaming services!!! you can find full episodes on youtube/other sites for free!!! (just use an adblocker if you're on a site other than youtube if u can!!)

✧.* another disclaimer: any regressor of any age can watch any of these shows!! i just wanted to put the age ratings for those who want to stick to media that's more in their age range!! so, don't feel like you have to limit yourself from watching certain shows just because of how old you regress to!!

✧.* spectacular spider-man (2008-2009, 2 seasons): suitable for 7-8+, but i'd say it'd be okay for littles who regress younger to watch, too!! honestly, my all-time favorite spider-man cartoon!!! not only is it fun to watch while little, you can truly appreciate the show when you're big, too!!! josh keaton's voicework as spider-man is just- ahhhh it's so amazing imo!! the story is really good, the animation/style is just so iconic, and the colors are very easy on the eyes!!! (especially if you're sensitive to bright colors when little/in general) absolute banger of a theme song, too!!!

✧.* x-men: the animated series (1992-1997, 5 seasons): rated for around 7-8+, but i do admit that there can be some scary scenes for especially younger/more sensitive littles. honestly, this show is great!!! i loved all the different story arcs, how colorful the show is, the characters themselves- a lot of cool stuff about this show!!! be warned, there's a sudden drop in quality during season 5... i think they switched animation studios/va's or something because season 5 is NOT the best season of the show, i'll tell you that... 0_0

✧.* x-men '97 (2024-present, 1 season so far): rated for 14+, so this show is more suitable for teen regressors. it's a continuation of x-men:tas, and oh man... this is it. my favorite cartoon of all time!!! the animation is just oh so beautiful!!! the fight scenes are awesome!!! the soundtrack- oh golly the soundtrack!!! the remastered x-men:tas opening is just- wow!!! but, there's definitely reasons why it's rated 14+... not gonna spoil anything, but there's a lot of scenes in the show that can be upsetting for younger littles. trust me, watching some scenes when you're little is just- too much sometimes... (speaking from experience) it's an amazing show, but watch at ur own risk if you're a younger regressor!!!

✧.* batman: the animated series (1992-1995, 4 seasons): i'd say it's for around ages 9-10+, since it can be fairly dark at times. (same goes for a lot of batman related media!!) honestly, this show's pretty good!!! the style of the show is very dark visually, so it's easy on the eyes for those with bright color sensitivities!!! the artstyle itself is also very nice to look at!!! the voicework is amazing as well, especially kevin conroy's (rip) performance as batman himself!!! from what i can remember, the plotpoints were also pretty on-par!! i remember liking the show a lot when i was a kid!! :)

✧.* hulk vs. wolverine (not a show but an animated movie, 2009): this one's rated pg-13, since there's depictions of violence. but, i gotta say- this movie had me hyped up when i watched it as a kid!!! this was part of a straight to video two-movie collection, (the other being "hulk vs. thor") and i gotta say... this movie was awesome!!! the fight scenes were rad as heck, the animation was amazing, even deadpool was in the movie!!! (which, fun fact, was his first appearance in animation!!! other than the 2 second cameo in x-men:tas) very fun movie!!!

…I find it lowkey weird when someone says Sonic is bit of bully or mean in your comic.

I know you have him take after Archie and Fleetway, but he feels normal to me?

Or is it because I grew up with Sonic media that had him being abrasive that I got used to it..?

This image of being this -perfectly nice- hedgehog that people get from him kinda makes me wonder constantly, do you know how he was back then?

Would you perceive him the same way if you gotten to known him a bit later excluding the older comics?

SEGA has kept a few things consistent with Sonic and one of them being he was always this dude with an attitude. for better or for worse. That didn't mean he didn't care for anyone, it's just part of who he is. Once you can see past that, you know that despite his meanness, he's a solid guy that means well.

(I got a few asks in a short span of time so I hope I'm lining up the correct follow-up with the original here)

So! Okay. So, here's the thing about Sonic and his whole "attitude" thing. These days, canonically, it's kinda non-existent? Sonic's personality got sandpapered (in the games) until it was nice and smooth for the past, uhhh, like deca -- No, not even. I think he's actually been like this since 2005.

Like sure, he'll make a few lame jokes at Eggman's expense in the Meta Era but like. He's a ray of sunshine to everyone else (besides that one thing they got rid of in the Sonic Gens "remaster" with Amy). He's not even GENUINELY mean to Knuckles the way he used to be. There is no actual beef there, it's really just friendly banter he's having with his friends.

The main sources of Sonic Attitude™ I ever experienced growing up was that little itty bit left within Sonic Heroes and MOSTLY just Archie Sonic (and some STC Online reading I did as a kid) and Sonic X. Make no mistake, Sonic definitely had a range of "Attitude" to "Asshole" in those works. It just wasn't present in the games. So if you were a kid growing up and only knew Sonic FROM the games, that so-called attitude was gonna be minimal if you're age 30 or under.

And any attitude he gave would be only to people he perceived to be enemies (or Jet the Hawk).

Jump forward in time to the end of the Meta era, and we've come to a point in which Sonic is very nice. He's everyone's cool big brother. He's a "friend to all children." The perfect role model. He's very nice in Sonic Prime. In IDW, some fans would even argue he's TOO nice. TOO forgiving. To this I say, it is what it is. I just don't believe Sonic's mean-ness level is all that consistent. Perhaps someday we'll see that attitude again. Perhaps.

Now, to finally address your initial comment: I am the one who says this. I am the one who says he is mean in Infested. And! That's because he's written that way.

This isn't modern nice Sonic, but this also isn't Attitude Guy from the 90s/early 2000s. This is a secret third thing. And by that I mean he's an amalgamation of STC Sonic and Archie Sonic. He's done a lot of learning and growing and he doesn't want to hurt his friends, but his first instinct is harsh, snippy commentary or outright lashing out. He has learned and has to bury that horrible little monster inside him. For Tails's sake.

I've been making a little sketch comic to loosen up for other comics. This is the first part. Will hopefully get over anxiety to make more parts.

I had seen Emmrich's design before I played Veilguard and I gotta say, I... uh... Actually wasn't enthused. I kind of assumed that he would be a pompous smarter-than-thou aristocratic asshole type. Which, I think, was kind of the whole goal with his design (spooky death mage -> surprise, goth cinnamon roll!). But still.

(clarification: it is a really cool design (modeling Emmrich's coat and color palette on a corpse flower??? That's AMAZING) I was just dubious at the time of Veilguard's release, I am a fool)

The inspiration for the creepy necromancer image is, in fact, the Necromancer from Diablo II. He had a *badass* design in the original release and I still haven't forgiven Blizzard for what they did to him in the remaster.

Under Pressure

The Marauders band au I suggest in my last post received a resounding yes so heres chpt 1! comment to be added to the taglist 🫶

The last thing Remus Lupin expected to be doing after a very successful show was driving home in his shitty car, down his shitty road, to get back to his shitty apartment, without his shitty boyfriend.

It wasn't supposed to end like this. Sirius wasn't supposed to say those things, he himself wasn't supposed to flip his lid, but here he is, and now he has to pull over before he kills someone because he can't see the road past the tears blurring his vision.

The break up was messy, backstage of a show, Remus was angry already, Sirius had been a dick before the show, going mental at James for taking a shot before the show, yelling at Peter for snapping a string on his guitar right on their 5 minute call, and scolding Remus for showing up with his cane in hand.

'You can't play with one hand! your gonna have to, I don't know, lean on something, just make it look cool ok!?'

Make it look cool? Remus had been livid, it was a bad hip day, he could barely walk on his own, but god forbid he run Sirius Blacks big show. He would have blamed it on the mans nerves, if he hadn't been acting like this ever since the band got a big break, and now The Marauders are a known name, then Sirius changed, been more like a boss than a boyfriend of 10 years, it pissed him off, to say the least, and he couldn't handle the diva he turned into.

Remus wants the days when they had fun, played in pubs where the only people who came to really see them was James' parents, but now Sirius black is a ridiculous control freak who is now more focused on the fame, the money, the opinions than the fun of it, the passion that he once had.

Its the radio that snaps him out of it, Sirius' energetic, belty voice along with his own smooth tones that bring a fresh wave of sobs wracking his aching body.

Under Pressure. The song that made the band and broke the bond, his shaky hand freezing when he hears Sirius sing 'Can't we give love, one more chance?'

No. Not with the way you've changed.

That's the only thing running through his mind as he manages to drive home, unlock his apartment and immediately find a bottle, when the phone rings, he lazily grabs it off the wall.

'Hello..?'

'Alright, mate?'

'..What do you want, James?'

'We just like..y'know, wanted, to know if you were, serious about the whole break up, with sirius..no pun intended-'

'Yes, I am, and..'

He hesitates. Does he really want to do this? Throw everything hes worked for since school, away? Because of a break up?

'I'm quitting the band,'

'What!?-'

He hangs up before James can try to convince him to stay, because it would work. Instead, he takes a long sip of his beer, rolls over on the sofa, and closes his eyes.

Remus doesn't leave his house for about a week, moving boxes scattered about the place, he had been supposed to move in with Sirius that week.

James and Peter had been ringing, from Sirius? Radio silence, which tells him all he needs to know. Hes angry. Hes upset. He regrets it. But hes free.

And so Remus deals with his feelings the only way he knows how, he writes music, he pours his anger into the lyrics, thinking about meeting sirius in school, who was desperate to fit in, despite his stupid posh parents, how Remus had fallen in love with him, but once a stuck up, arrogant prune, always a stuck up arrogant prune, I suppose.

When he finishes, he feels like he can take a deep breath.

He names the song 'Common People'.

After writing a song, crying, quitting his band, drinking, smoking, drinking and crying a little more, and sleeping for a week, only one thought is clear in Remus' mind.

I fucking hate Sirius Black.

Short first chapter ik!! but it was more of a setting the scene kinda thing, but the next ones will be longer promise! hope it lived up to expectations, and i plan to post a new chapter every Wednesday!

My honest opinion: the Switch 2 Direct had several “Yay!” moments, but a LOT of “meh” ones too.

Despite having lots of cool things to announce, and very little bad, it ultimately felt poorly structured and in my opinion emphasised many of the wrong things.

My favourites (and my criticisms) under the cut. Spoilers from here on out so be careful:

Favourites:

- Mario Kart World. I desperately want to see more of this because it looks ridiculously fully featured. Open world racers haven’t always landed with me, but the idea of exploring a massive game world full of Mario Kart’s design and sensibilities? Exquisite.

- Donkey Kong Bonanza. Redesign aside, this is gonna be fantastic. I love the idea of a more chaotic 3D platformer than we’d normally expect to see from Nintendo, plus after 25 years, it’s high time DK got another crack at 3D.

- The Duskbloods. Holy shit, I was not expecting this. Mind blown. Can’t wait to get my hands on this. Miyazaki saw Sony dragging their feet and finally took matters into his own hands, huh!

- Kirby’s Air Riders. I imagine a few people might have preferred it if the game Sakurai’s been alluding to had turned out to be Smash 6, but I’m mostly just glad that he’s had a chance to do what he wants and develop a different passion project, rather than getting fed straight back into the Smash Bros grinder.

- Deltarune. I’ve actually been putting off playing Deltarune for a good long while, because I didn’t like the idea of starting a massive story and then having to wait so long for a conclusion (not a shot at the release model, just my own inability to hold characters and scenarios in my head). But now I’m finally gonna be able to play the whole thing, and I am Hype.

Least favourite game announcement:

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (specifically the GameCube version, via emulation, on the NSO subscription): Just let me pay for the HD remaster with all the improvements they made for Wii U, rather than paying monthly to have access to the inferior version of the game, through the lens of Nintendo’s questionable emulation, thanks.

My general criticisms of the Direct:

Oh boy. This is gonna read as very negative, which kind of sucks because on the basis of what was shown, there is a LOT to be excited about. But I think taken as a whole, the presentation left a lot to be desired and didn’t add up to a great first impression. It was less than the sum of its parts, and really shouldn’t have been. Let me explain.

They spent a good deal of time showcasing hardware feature, particularly the camera and mouse mode. This was a great idea in theory, they failed to reveal much in the way compelling gameplay that integrates them - particularly the mouse. DragXDrive is a start, but it looked to be the barest of bones on this first showing.

A lot of time in the early to mid presentation was spent re-announcing games that are already confirmed for Switch 1 and explaining how some of them will be very slightly better on Switch 2. While, again there’s nothing wrong with this idea, leading with, and placing major emphasis on minor performance upgrades and expansions to Switch 1 games, some of which have been available for many years, does not create a compelling case for sinking hundreds into a new console. This is something you factor in at the end of the presentation, not as one of the first concrete details you cover.

(Side note - I actually think this is cause for concern. While the reasons for the Wii U’s failure were many and complex, very few people at this point would claim a lack of quality games - in fact the later success of much of the Wii U’s library on the Switch indicates the opposite! However, one factor I do often see cited is that the Wii U’s marketing failed to set it apart as something fresh and vital. Seeing Nintendo pitch, at great length, their brand new console’s ability to run a Zelda game from 2017 at a higher frame rate, and/or an expensive way to play games already announced for Switch 1, before they so much as pulled out a second exclusive Switch 2 title, did not fill me with confidence that the right lessons were learned.)

To be more positive for a moment, the major exclusive announcements all looked fab to me, especially DK Bonanza and The Duskbloods (!!). I think it’s fair to say I was expecting more exclusives, and that I’m surprised that the whole thing went by with no mention of a 3D Mario. It’s also worth noting that, of the major, not-on-Switch-1 exclusives (Mario Kart, DK, Hyrule Warriors 3, Duskbloods, Kirby Air Riders), only Mario Kart will be available at launch, which is a bit of a blow if like me, you were hoping for a big, single player experience at launch. Breath of the Wild sold Switch to me, not Mario Kart 8, and I know I’m not alone there.

My bigger problem with how they handled the exclusives within the presentation is that none of them received anything like a proper deep dive, even though these should be the system sellers were all getting hyped for.

I understand Mario Kart will be getting one in a couple of weeks, which is something, but considering how short the exclusives list was, it was a shame not to see a little more of each. Speaking subjectively, it felt to me like these big, important exclusives ended up getting less overall coverage in the presentation than the third-party lineup, all of which is or will be freely available (and likely much cheaper) elsewhere.

Overall, the problem is not one of content, but of emphasis. After all, third-party support and backwards compatibility is vital to the success of a modern console! But the decision to frontload the presentation with lukewarm demonstrations of the hardware, games which are also playable on Switch 1, and non-exclusives, while first-party and third-party exclusives received comparatively little emphasis and were often relegated to the tail end of the show, was baffling. It killed the momentum of the presentation, diluted the message that this is a must-have product, and dampened my enthusiasm quite a bit.

And yeah, I’m also sad that we only got 3 seconds of Silksong to confirm it still exists, but let’s face it, we did that to ourselves, didn’t we?

Put whatever text you wish within the box and the colours you would like. Copy paste the BBCode selection into your TRP. Every 'color' must be turned into 'col', every set of these brackets [ ] must be turned into these ones { }, the # & = must be erased and = must be replaced with : . It is a long process, but it won't show up unless you do this.

So you want to make race/class all one colour! It's actually HELLA easy.

Go to your Race Slot and delete everything in it, once you do that, press spacebar and BOOM. Empty! Just make sure whatever you want coloured is in the Class Slot, and it will appear the colour of your choice.

How to make your text bigger! There are three sizes of header:

You can colour your headers whatever kind you want - the gradient even works with headers as well! Headers can be used for all sorts of things: Titles, About Sections, Quotes, Borders, Symbols, whatever you want! Icons are also effected by headers so you can orientate an icon wherever you'd like within your TRP!

Just make sure everything is within the {h1:c} & {/h1} or else it will appear as it's default size.

Additional Information can be a canvas to put whatever you want! Here's an example of what I do with mine!

The sky is your limit! You can really do anything with it. Here's a small video explaining spacing with Additional Information and some tricks I've learned.

Links are where you put your. . .Links! Artwork, tumblrs, carrds, social links, etc etc. Here, I'll be showing you the different ways you can format links; orienting them on your page as well as turning them into icon images! The former was hard af to figure out but when you see how simple this is, you will laugh at me-

So formatting links; it's basically the same as formatting normal text as shown above. You can even colour them too! Here's a quick little show of how to make a coloured and formatted standard link.

The order of code for coloured links is as follows: Header (If wanted) > Colour Code > Link To make a link appear as an Icon, you MUST place the Icon Code within the text section (as seen in the video). If you do not, it will not appear and ruin the string of code.

Borders can be used wherever within your TRP! They're good for sectioning information and just making it look nice and formatted. There are three different kinds of borders: Symbols, Images & Icons. I will explain how to make your own, as well as share some for free use!

Symbol-based borders are by far the easiest to make. You just type them out and play around with the symbols of your choice! You can really put them anywhere within your TRP - Additional Info, About, OOC info, literally ANYWHERE.

I encourage you all to try and make your own! I bet they'll be super cool. For now though, here's some examples ya'll can use.

Images

Image borders can come in two forms: full images or flattened images. The first is very explanatory, whatever image you pick can divide text. This can be scenery, crowns, gems, Blizzard-licensed character art & so much more! There's a butt load to pick from, so take the time to browse and find the perfect one.

Here's an example I did using a Revendreth image!

Flattened images can also be used as borders! To flatten an image, you must alter the last numbers within the string of code. As you can see here, this is the normal image and default code.

I go in and edit the number 128 to 5 and get this flattened image as a result!

Again, feel free to play around with this and find the images and sizes you love best! I've even seen some people super impose them for backgrounds??? Badass???

Icon borders are like the weird lovechild of Image & Symbol borders. With a mixture of Icons & Symbols, you can really make some cool shit. Icons can be formatted and moved around your profile with Headers. Like so!

Simply a collection of little tricks and nuggets of info I've learned about TRP over the years. They don't quite count as formatting so uh. I dunno. This is my guide, I'll do what I want-

The larger your TRP is, the longer it will take to load. Don't feel put off if someone whispers you about it thinking they were accidently blocked!

A TRP doesn't have to be long to be good. Size doesn't matter, it's how you use it as they say.

Don't feel pressured to make your TRP a certain way. It's your TRP. Have fun with it and go crazy!

Don't feel afraid to reach out & ask other players how they did something in their TRP if you like it! Though some may still gatekeep techniques, there's been a shift in the TRP culture. You may make a new friend too!

If you get a TRP formatting error, you're most likely just missing a / or { } somewhere within the code. I do it all the time and a comb through the code normally shows me where one went missing.

BACK UP YOUR TRP! The worst feeling in the world is writing a super swag TRP only for it to get shitted on by a WoW update. Below, I'll show you a quick and easy way to do it.

1) fix MacCready. I'm so serious his game mechanics and his character are so contradictory and buggy, please

2) let danse not be in power armor all the time. Please. It's so annoying, he's awesome but I don't want buzz lightyear stomping behind me all the time, I want to put him in cute little outfits like the rest of the companions

3) let danse move on from the BoS if you save him. Like he keeps bugging out about serving the brotherhood and getting upset about not following the brotherhood, danse honey we said brotherhood is BAD which is why you're still alive, let him move on PLEASE

4) for the love of god let me romance the crumbly detective, I spent so long on my first playthrough with nick following him around and pining for him I didn't even know romancing was an option in the game until after I beat it.

5) let me pat the dogs. The cows. The cats. If UBISOFT of all people can do it, then so should Bethesda

6) fix the game-halting bugs, glitches and crashes. Please. Stop adding cool new feats and stuff, like that's great, but literally fix the masterpiece there is. Better yet, STOP UPDATING IT AND JUST REMASTER THE GAME.

Hayataro - Day 175

Race: Holy Alignment: Light-Neutral March 28th, 2025

WE ARE SO FUCKING BACK RAIDOU REMASTER IS REAL

ahem. yay raidou remaster with new demons and one of them is hayataro :D

Today's spotlight was originally going to be a different demon- definitely one of the more iconic series mainstays, such as Cerberus- but HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT RAIDOU IS REAL. WE ARE SO BACK. While Raidou doesn't have a demon that is really associated with him in specific (eg Demi-Fiend and Pixie), what I did notice was that in the trailer for the Raidou remaster, there was a certain good boy that was a very new demon who was shown in a prominent spotlight. I mean shit, he's on the box art. Dogs are man's best friend, after all, and Hayataro deserved to be highlighted the way he was. More than just Yuzuru's main demon buddy in SMT V, Hayataro is the name of an incredibly loyal dog in Japanese mythology, one who gave his life to protect a village, and while the story is definitely on the more obscure end, it's something that still sticks out and shows loyalty above all else.

The Kouzen-ji temple is one of the main major Buddhist temples in Japan, and, while small, it has a lot of historical significance- guided and protected by Fudo-Myo-o, it was (and still is) the major center of worship for said deity, and over its history it has been the center of many conflicts as well. Central for today's spotlight, though, is that more than just being a place of worship, it was also a shelter, back in the 14th century. During this time, a mother dog and her three puppies resided in the temple, with her protecting them. They lived in the mountains, but took shelter in the shrine, which caught the attention of the caretaker of the temple, who fed them well until they were strong enough to move back to the mountains. However, in repayment, the shrine master asked the mother to leave behind one of her pups to protect the temple, and, thankful, the dog left behind her strongest yet gentlest pup- Hayataro.

Hayataro, meaning 'fast' from what I can gather, earned his name upon protecting a boy from the village nearby in a very timely manner from a monster's attack, after which he became a general protector of the temple. As the local dog hero, he became known for this feat, but as time went on and the village came under attack from a monster, the villagers found themselves coming to Hayataro to ask for his help again. More specifically, a priest who was traveling by to the village saw a terrifying tradition- each year, a young girl would be sacrificed to appease the 'gods,' who would then be shipped away to never be seen again. The priest, terrified, did some further digging and eventually spied the culprit- a bakemono, a shapeshifting monster, who was muttering about hoping that Hayataro wouldn't notice. Predictably, the Priest left to visit Hayataro, and when the dog answered, he explained the situation to the dog.

Hayataro immediately got up and ran off just as the next sacrifice was selected, offering himself up as the sacrifice instead. After leaving to the bakemono's place, Hayataro fought the beast away and drove it off, if not possibly killing it, but was severely injured in the battle- however, he also took down three other Bakemono with him, leaving behind three corpses of the monsters. Returning to the shrine, all Hayataro could do would be to bark- he had won, even if he had lost his life. And so, Hayataro's sacrifice was commemorated in an eternal shrine near the temple, and he was prayed for every day by the priest and soon the village, who had been saved by him. A tragic end to this tale, but also an end that proved that he was a very, very good boy.

In SMT, this legend is commemorated in Hayataro's frankly badass looking design, though past being a dog not much can be said about Hayataro's appearance in the legend itself. As such, though, they absolutely went off and gave him an incredibly cool design, with the wispy blacks and reds contrasting really well with his grey fur and his mane giving him the appearance of a lion, as well as the signature SMT V spirals. His signature skill being one that protects all of his teammates by drawing ire of the enemies is incredibly fitting, if a bit tragic given the context, but still, Yuzuru couldn't have picked a better demon for his signature bestie.

Hu tao gets to your bedroom at starts going through your closet throwing out things she thought fit the theme tonight. “no way this dress will look great on you” she says as she holds up a dark red dress. “Not bad ‘Tao I’ll wear it.”

When you get to the place where the “small concert” was you see a lot of people around your friend’s band while they played. As you squeezed though the crowd to get a better look you can see all the members which you’ve been introduced to some but you see the lead singer and surprisingly he’s really attractive, as your looking he looks back at you and of course you can feel your face getting hot and he makes it no better with that smirk on his face. For the rest of the few songs they played you avoided eye contact with him and just took photos and videos of the band to show to Hu tao later

Just as most people were leaving you see Hu tao running up to you “Hi, how did we do?!” “You guys did great you wanna see the photos I took while you guys played?” You can basically see the stars pop in her eyes “Of course I do, you know who you’re talking to right???” you pull out your phone to show her “we all look soo cool but why didn’t you take any pictures of Xiao?” “who’s Xiao?” you respond you’ve heard many things about Xiao but there was no way he was the lead singer “what photos of me..” you and Hu tao turn around to see just the slightly taller male.

"Hey, look who it is the man himself Xiao" Hu tao announced to you. Xiao smirked “Hey.. you’re that girl I saw when i was on stage. No photos of me? hm” He said as he moved closer to your face “uh well sorry you just weren’t my main focus” you shrugged “you were definitely mine..” Xiao muttered to himself “well here” Xiao says as he hands you a small piece of paper. Then he walked away “What’s that?” Hu tao questions “I don’t even know lemme look” you opened the paper to see a phone number with an address, you felt your face get hot “it’s nothing, nothing you need to worry about” you quickly slipped it into the pocket of a jacket you wore with the dress and you started to walk out with Hu tao

“you better not hook up with him..” Hu tao looks at you “who said I was?” you replied back “I’m just looking out for you” she says as she drops you off at your place “good night ‘Tao” you say as you open and walk into your apartment

As you walk in your place you think about what she said “not to hook up with Xiao..” you pull out your phone and begin to text him

I think my favorite theory about the remaster, is that it's an alternate timeline or a scenario where taco DOES go through the timeline, gets rid of their taco, and replaces her. All the added stuff that wasn't in season 1? Just the effects of the timeline being messed up. This time, she would plan to STAY stupid. It's easier. She wouldn't hurt anyone, she wouldn't be cast out.

My only evidence? Well it's shown that Lightbulb waves to her future self, so Lightbulb and Test tube are clearly there! Taco could have followed and quietly lead the other Taco away. Are there many many holes in this? yes. very many. But it's cool to think.

OMG!!! I love your theory!! I'm personally team Mephone4-telling-3GS-about-season-1, but honestly I'll be happy with whatever it ends up being.

As for Taco going back to season 1 and replacing her old self? I've thought about it!!! It was an old little au idea I had, in which the contestants Mepad managed to save from MephoneX in the hotel decided to try and get to Test Tube's time machine to go back and stop all this from happening. Taco was the only one to make it to the time machine, as everyone gets picked off along the way, and she travels back all the way to the start of season 1.

As for what she'd do with her old self? Well now that we have the remaster I have an answer. Bottomless pit. I'm only half joking, because I doubt Taco could convince her old self to stop with the scene and about everything that's happened, much less get her to leave the show while modern Taco takes her place, yeah?

But one way or another, Taco subs in for her other self, and well. She doesn't feel good. She's more quiet and avoiding interacting with the others than she was previously in season 1, feeling guilty not only about everything in the season she's reliving again, but also for being the only one to make it back in time safely. She was very much there for everyone else getting erased, as well as Mepad getting killed again, the last one to die, shielding her with his body like he did Mephone4 to buy her time to get the time machine to work.

So yeah, Taco is feeling bad and pretty much avoiding everyone outside of challenges, but especially Pickle. Of course she is!! He just unforgived her, and she doesn't want to hurt him again. But like, this is season 1 Pickle we're talking. He decided he wants to be friends with that Taco that's always on her own and he doesn't take no for an answer. They will be friends. And eventually she can't bring herself to avoid him anymore. So he ends up befriending the real sad and broken and lost Taco. They start a genuine friendship on both ends!!

I think Taco would still have OJ win in the finale, she'd probably be more focused on Mephone5, and she wouldn't want to mess up the timeline too badly. That's why she hasn't gone after Cobs directly yet either, because one wrong move and the season 2 contestants, including Mic, are never made. Season 3 contestants too, yeah, but this is Taco she is caring about Mic's existence primarily. And she probably wouldn't want to manage the hotel lol.

I also think that, after the finale, she'd end up telling Pickle about everything that's happened. Between them, with her, with Cobs, etc. And he'd believe her too. He is made to be gullible, after all, and again this is untraumatized-by-Taco season 1 Pickle, and he will never be traumatized like that now because Taco hasn't lied to him. She's being extra truthful in fact. He'd probably take the fact that they were made by Mephone more in stride too here, since again he's been having a pretty good time all things considered.

She'd very much tell him about their history, and expect him to have the same reaction he did back in the original timeline and never want to speak with her again, but as I have continuously emphasized, this is season 1 pickle!!!!!! He is naive and trusting and loyal!! He would forgive her in this timeline, and even want to help her with her mission to take down Cobs before he can take them down. And it is so very bittersweet, because she knows the Pickle she'd known would never have given her forgiveness, but he was wiped away with everything else she once knew, and this is the only Pickle there is. And she will hold his friendship and affection in her scarred and bloody hands and cherish it!!!

ALSO! I think she'd buddy up with Mephone4 in this au, actually. She wouldn't tell him what had happened, inside she's still mad at him (at least at first) and he doesn't even remember Cobs at this point. Again, she can't risk giving back his memories because what if he doesn't make everyone else? But mainly, I think this would happen because she's looking for Mepad. She knows Mephone took him when he left Meeple, so he must be around somewhere!! She finds him and is so very happy to see him... well he's not alive yet because he's booting up but!! He's not dead so that's improvement!!! I'd say that Mephone walks in on her hanging out with him and is surprised and kind of nervous about getting caught, but Taco wants to be able to come see Mepad so she plays nice and ends up forming an actual bond with Mephone, much to her chagrin. Because there are ghosts and hints of how Cobs was with him that are leftover even after he deleted his memories that she hadn't noticed before, and Mepad has been trying to teach her empathy and MAYBE she's picking up on it after also having had a terrifying experience with Cobs.

So uh ahem anyways sorry for taking over your ask and writing you an essay uh. Lovely theory who needs evidence when you're having so much fun!!!!!!!
