I’ve assumed my true form! At King Richard’s Faire with my friends, having managed to futz a halfway decent “Renaissance” ensemble out of my 18th century kit, my old Ophelia flower crown and some ribbon courtesy of my mother-in-law. It was the best I could do and I felt like a lovely village maiden. Had a great time checking out the Renaissance Faire in Seattle last weekend. This felt like the first real post-Covid Ren Faire as it was absolutely packed!! I’ve never seen the parking lot so packed all of these years, but it was actually not that bad once we were inside.
