If anyone is looking to expand unions to new industries, the Property Management industry desperately needs you.

We have no unions that I am aware of, and we have no way to collectively bargain.

If you have experience in forming and operating unions, this is a place where we need it, for both employee protections and resident protections. We are at a large disadvantage to owners of properties to do what they push us to (assuming it's legal, which frankly to much is), and it can be a career ender to not do those depending on the company as the apartment and rental industry is very tight knit and a company like say, Greystar, has MASSIVE sway.

I know the classic response is "well you can make one" and yes, I can. BUT I have never been in a union. I don't know how it functions, and I have no desire to give people a subpar protection because I don't know what I'm doing.

I don't share pro union stuff, guides to make unions, ect for shits. I know there are others like me, and even if they can't do it, perhaps that can be some additional pressure to have them reach out to someone who can.

I wanted to recreate the botanical gardens in Tomarang because although it was pretty, there wasn't really anything to do there so on this renovation I added a community garden, a special place for the spirit house, a place to grill and eat and a market area :)

Сhicago 2119| Shameless Gallagher House

This lot contains three houses that are adjacent to each other. I built this site under the impression of Chicago and its atmosphere of a disadvantaged area.

The winter often refers me to watching the first seasons of "Shameless", that's why these houses are here. The most furnished and authentic house is the house of the Gallagher family. The house in the middle is looking for its owner, so it is not furnished, only old furniture reminds that someone lived there. Veronica and Kev's house is not furnished in as much detail as we would like, since there are not so many episodes from this house.

I couldn't place Frank's room, backyard, and basement because I didn't quite remember their location and I didn't have enough space.

in an attempt to have more townies in willow creek, i’m making some low income apartments. i wanted it to look like a street that you likely wouldn’t come down unless you work here or live here. i had the dark asphalt at first but i rarely ever see streets that dark so i scrapped that.

i love this lot so far but idk how i feel about it for this exact spot. i was kind of spitballin’ and playing around w/ stuff to see what i could come up with. originally i was gonna do like a mall or shopping center of some sort because in my mind, this lot and the one next to it leads to newcrest which will be downtown detroit. but i didn’t know what i could put in a mall for a 50x50 lot that i would actually visit in gameplay.

anyway, if i end up keeping it, im definitely gonna have to do something to make it make more sense in this spot. like with TOOL

My first of many residential rental lots is 3 little units settled in Willow Creek designed for a sim who is absolutely obsessed with her dogs, an eco-friendly family of four and an empty/half furnished house ready to be renovated. :) Each unit has its own personal backyard and access to the community garden directly behind the lot.
