For some reason this never posted 😔 #sundayspassage #hopefortheday #latepost #betterlatethannever #lifewithaniphone4s So many times I have found myself within the consumption of the negative influences in this world; asking myself "God if You loved me and the world, why is it broken? Why did _____________ happen then? Why?" How simple is it to blame God for the negative? EASY! It is always easy to question, assume and judge anything and anyone else but ourselves. #accountability is so huge! I will speak for myself - without accountability, without taking it and sharing it forth to others for my own actions - I fail. That is what I have seemed to find to be the truth within my reality and my life. If I blame others, God too, I fail. Maybe by in that very moment, but shortly after. See, for myself, without taking accountability and reassessing my faults/actions/words than I cannot ask for forgiveness from myself, others and definitely not from Jesus. I will slowly sit and sulk within myself, a pool of loneliness and darkness (smiling on the outside). Isolation will creep in and I will fall deeper and deeper until that smile mask no longer is remembered and negativity, guilt, shame and everything of that nature settles within me as it's home. As a #retiredaddict, I don't have room for that anymore - next fall can lead me under the earth's very soil. To be frank, I MUST #readGodsword and keep up with the #Biblespromises #Bible #Godsword #Scripture and continuing my #faith only welcoming #growth and #progress. Reading this tonight, over again - lead me to smile 😀 (chuckling slightly as well) why? Because I fall short of this as well and I seem to find myself in prayer, reminding myself of "a time" where I have fallen short and asking Jesus to know how much I thank Him for continuing to guide me which only brings more strength, wisdom and courage into myself and life, because He loves me. I chuckle because #mistakesmakeushuman. No one is perfect and God still loves us. Read this passage and know it is the #truth. It MUST BE KNOWN! So, Jesus, I thank you for life today and all the gifts you continue to seem to believe I deserve. Amen ✝❤️🙌🏻

This is so true. I needed this today. Lately I have been slacking. I have allowed negativity to consume me and it's showing in isolating, my relationships, my parenting. It only took a second for me to allow myself to miss my daily reading, my seconds deemed to turn into dreadful hours and before I knew it I look back today and see that I'm still consumed with negativity rather than Christ and the Holy Spirit. I dot like it and I need to remember as a #retiredaddict this is NOT healthy. I have my high power and I strive to live the life intended. Today is the day where I need to, yet again, rule out the brokenness of the world and seek answers and confirmation within His word and guidance. I can do this and everyone has bad days, I just refuse to allow it to end up as my life.

Shout out to my brother! December 10th will mark a year since he got diagnosed with indocarditis and has been fighting for his life! Doctors didn't see him pulling through. Surgery after surgery - and now since he's been voluntarily clean for months .. Heart surgery comes October!
