My one thing with itch.io is that I know that there are a bunch of games on there programmed as roms for retro consoles and I wish that there was an easy way to filter them out and buy them to place on retrohandhelds. I looked once, but it was a little difficult to navigate. And searching online for lists has been a little funky for me. Like. I could wait for more of these games to be ported to evercade (yes I prefer to play these games on evercade than steam), but I do want to check out more of them on itch.io

Edit: oh. I forgot that I believe some pico8 games are on itch.io. I need to look for those as well.

First completion of the year was Cave Noire for the Gameboy! Completed for #retrohandhelds GotM club. A really impressive piece of software for the time and console it was released on. Very re-playable, very fun and never got boring. Also very difficult at times. Interesting that you essentially only upgrade permanently at higher difficultly levels, and even then its a single HP increase and nothing else. (It seemed)

Considering the batteries were in the compartment for over 21 years, there doesn't appear to be any corrosion on the contacts! I decided to remove the batteries to prevent any further further potential damage to the components, but won't be properly cleaning out the battery compartment and the rest of the #Cybiko Classic till I film the video! The other Cybiko and the boxes, and old and new batteries will show up in the video too, but I need space to film, so watch this space for further updates!
