It's an honor to serve as one of the Supernatural Bang Bang mods, but this year it was also sweet torture because of all the gorgeous art that was submitted for our first reverse bang.

Among the incredible submissions was this incredible work featuring Abaddon and Donna by BasketcaseBetty.

I was extremely brave and did not abuse my modly powers by stealing the art, but it stuck in my brain and I knew I wouldn't have peace unless I wrote this pairing as well. After all, who doesn't want to kill one or more Dougs? Donna deserves a hot, evil serial killer wife.

Msf as a whole but also kaz specifically are the first victims of the cult leader big boss eventually becomes. The monster he is in mg2.

The majority of the soldiers kaz included are people he kidnapped. People who now hinge on his every word and would die for him. Just because kaz is also his accountant wife doesnt make him any less of a victim or follower of BB. Kaz can call it a partnership all he wants that doesn’t make it the truth, their relationship is not and never has been equal.

Kaz doesnt go against BB because he snaps out of his trance and realized how wrong everything is, how crazy his plans are. He does it because he felt personally betrayed. And that pride is the very reason BB betrayed him in TPP. There is no room for autonomy in his heaven. Its ironic, given the whole point of the bosses dream in the first place.

After Finley and BB-8 escape the First Order on Jakku with the help of the mysterious Solo aboard the Millennium Falcon, they begin to get to know each other. However, they aren't out of danger yet...

EXCERPT

Once they were safely speeding away from the Jakku orbit, Solo excitedly unbuckled his seatbelt and hurried back to meet Finley, racing past BB-8, who was retracting its safety restraint. Finley, adrenalized, climbed from the turret and met Solo in the lounge of the Falcon. "So, what's your name, sweetheart?" Solo asked Finley. "And why was the First Order after you?" Finley ignored the pet name. "My name is Finley. Finn if you like." "I like," Solo grinned, moving closer to her. "I'm with the Resistance," Finley continued, almost like a warning. She didn't like the way he was staring at her. BB-8 beeped at her questioningly. Solo cocked an eyebrow. He read her with his intense eyes, almost as if he was peering into her soul... "Sure you are," Solo finally said, stepping even closer to her. Finley sidestepped him before he could get any closer. "Okay... well... what's your name? Or do I just call you 'Solo'?" Solo leaned his arm against the wall where she just stood. "You can call me whatever you want." Finley tilted her head. The man was persistent. "How about 'Creepy'?" Solo blinked, and then laughed, stepping back from her, hands raised in mock surrender. "Okay! Okay! I get it! I'll stop, alright?" "Your name?" Finley pressed, raising her eyebrows. "My name is Ben. Ben Solo."

Nothing sadder than seeing a Reverse Robins AU where they don't include Steph as a Robin even though she'd be a far better Red Hood than Tim. It's not even fucking close. Like...are you kidding me?? Tim has no reason to die in the way Jason does nor does he have any reason to become the protector of the less-great areas of Gotham. I don't mind it as much when Tim kinda becomes his own thing (that's the appeal of those AUs for me, taking the character and having them fulfill a role they don't in canon + seeing the ripple effects on both that character and others and the story (literally the whole reason I'm doing the randomized robins) + seeing how you can still tell a story that wasn't meant to exist in the way you've made it) but when he's just straight up Red Hood-but-now-Tim...why?

Now STEPHANIE BROWN ON THE OTHER HAND! She's got all the makings of a good Red Hood. She's had the will to kill from the beginning (she was straight up gonna kill her dad, even when she didn't she still beat the shit out of him and talks pretty frequently about getting rid of the bad guys 'for good'), she's been doubted her entire existence as a vigilante, she has like SO MANY FUCKING REASONS TO HATE BRUCE IT ISN'T EVEN FUNNY, she has lived the experience of someone (her dad) getting released back into Gotham via Arkham/Blackgate's revolving door, and she's also got the fucking FIRE for it. Steph even has a built-in death that's both thematically relevant for a Red Hood and would drive Bruce to so much fucking guilt. Plus, it's more accurate! And Tim staying as the third sidekick becomes even more fucking interesting. His girlfriend, someone he loved, just died in this role because of Bruce's negligence/her own bungling. How tf does he feel about the role of a Batman sidekick now? Batman needs a Robin, but what does Robin need from Batman? And Steph coming back to see BRUCE just put TIM in the role that she literally died in? Oh she's coming back full storm.

what if bb2k was sorta reversed w the characters ?? y'know like what if jake got let out later and was the one who survived prison, like what would he do ? would he go see cab as soon as he heard who he was ???would he warm up to buster or turn him down altogether ?? would he take the job at willie's and what would he do when maury tells him about the battle of the bands ? like goddamn !!! probs gonna make a post elaborating but it is just. so interesting thinking about how jake would take the situation- i think he'd be just as distraught as elwood in the beginning though, not knowing what to do but he was the one with the confidence and the overall leader, so i think it might be less of a challenge but still a big challenge nonetheless with the group and touring. would there be a new bluesmobile or would they be crammed in the same car the whole time like at the end of bb2k ???? would there be recurring characters that play into jake's storyline aswell ?? i rlly like to think though that since jake n elwood are both stubborn in their own ways, that jake is pretty sour about it at first, would either have to take a moment to actually think about curtis and the band or he'd go straight into it and not dwell on the emotion until later. there r so many options with this :0
