“Even comic fans dont like comics” but that dislike of certain comics editorial etc doesnt come from the fact comics are inherently bad or lesser, its from the fact they’re good! The main thing i hate about dc forcing in a bunch of new biological children as legacies/the second gen is that i feel its saying something about the previous legacies. Characters who weren’t biologically related to their mentors sure but still have JUST AS MUCH a right to that title.

its just really off putting to me, like its saying the previous characters didnt really count as successors just because they weren’t biologically related. Like these new characters are the “real” legacies because of their dna

thinking about Kara vs Clark and the affects of being a survivor. A survivor who never knew their home before it was gone and survivor who knew their home and misses it more than anything. The difference between mourning a home and people you never knew and mourning the loss of everything you’ve ever known. Their mourning of krpyton is so similar and yet so different.
