Does anyone else remember that period when kids cartoons & their internet fandoms were pretending it was a Subversive Twist for a cartoon to have an irredeemable villain who the heroes kill. Like, for a while people totally forgot that “the heroes kill/imprison the evil villain” is actually the standard for kid’s cartoons. People lost their minds so much over steven’s universe or whatever that they forgot that it was an exception, and the vast majority of kids cartoons love having irredeemably evil villains who die or get imprisoned forever for the happy ending.

But I still remember this silly period of internet discourse, because I find it extremely funny.

If 2010s internet cartoon fandom watched Snow White and The Seven Dwarves : “omg the evil queen is irredeemably evil and then gets killed during a fight with the heroes?????? This is sUCH mature storytelling….. it’s so dark and subversive, how they acknowledged that some people just can’t be redeemed…. Omg so realistic…. This is how you know it’s really for adults… ”

I also HAD to draw Andalusite by @gracefireheart cus good god he has taken over my entire heart. He's truly everything. The myth the legend the icon the moment. Happy pride month.

I like giving him a receding hairline cus. medic(has hair) + heavy(bald) = less hair. mathematics. The first drawing is my puny amateurish attempt at Rebecca Sugar's beautiful doodle art style. (I think I nailed the face and hair tho hehe)

Aaaand my own design for a medic and scout fusion, Tourmaline! They only really form him when they both feel like wreaking havoc. he's impulsive, inattentive, hyperactive, he has no self preservation, and he's low-key dumb. When his senses kick in is usually when they unfuse. He can't see for shit and has to constantly remind himself to put on his glasses

Recently started rewatching Stephen university and I cannot believe I forgot about them.

It’s been 5 years since Steven Universe Future came to an end. And now everyone wants a revival of the show. So I hope for a sequel series focusing on Steven and Connie. And to make a theatrical feature film about them going to Beach City for a summer vacation and to get married with the gems mistaking it for a welcome home party and some old arch villains are returning to vow revenge on Steven and the others.

main takeaway from certain fan reactions to the finale is this:

the final scene with ankarna was so meaningful to the bad kids' arcs and how they made peace with being wronged by people they loved, and if all you can focus on is that the rat grinders didn't get much screentime, then you don't love dimension20 and you don't love this world: you want to be playing your own hs themed dnd campaign and you're mad the oc versions of the rat grinders you made up in your head acted ooc. these are not your characters and this is not their story.

Yo y'all GOTTA hear me out on this one. Since we are getting revivals of these TOP tier cartoon shows like: Regular Show, Adventure Time, The amazing world of gumball, Phineas and Ferb and now Steven Universe.

I think that wander over yonder should get revived this year or possibly next year. Even though wander over yonder isn't a cartoon network show, and it's a disney show instead, Wander Over Yonder is also a classic along the previous 4 cartoon shows I mentioned, i believe that wander over yonder can get revived too just like the other 4. Who's with me?
