At first it started small: rapping on the window, a creaky door, faucets emanating a strange sulfuric odor. Typical household problems, you shrugged it off... But now there were other things happening, unexplainable things. The smoky apparition that you'd see out of the corner of your eye, always just out of sight; the claw marks on your back and legs; and the ice cold breath you feel at the back of your neck have you convinced that something is out to get you.

Having just moved in with your boyfriend of only a year, you sit in the kitchen one night unpacking dishes so you wouldn't have to eat off paper plates like you had the last few weeks. Maybe settling into the house would make these crazy illusions go away.

𝘊𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺. That's what your boyfriend calls all the things you see and feel and hear. But you don't feel crazy, and it feels real when you lie frozen in horror, watching the dark figure with tall golden horns and one glowing white eye stare at you from the foot of your bed. Sometimes it even dares to reach for you, perhaps if only you make your pounding heart jump up to your ears.

You're not sure what this thing is or why it's chosen 𝘺𝘰𝘶 to taunt... or to haunt, you don't really know. But your nights often end with you falling asleep from sheer exhaustion from the terror you feel as this entity makes itself more and more known.

"Fuck, baby, you've gotta get some help. These hallucinations are getting to be a bit too much for you to take, huh?" He says as you sob into your pillow in the early hours of the morning. Little did he know, at least to you, it was no hallucination. That 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 had grabbed your foot, pulling you harshly from your slumber as you flailed and screamed to stay on the bed.

You're snapped out of your thoughts by a plate crashing to the floor at least a meter away from the table where it had been sitting. You jump up and shriek, half from shock, half in frustration.

"Dammit, babe, you can't be such a ditz! We payed a lot of money for you to go around being careless with the dishes," your boyfriend scolds you.

"At least I was trying to unpack," you argue, voice small.

"What was that?" The look on his face turns dark, as he approaches you again.

"I'm- I'm just trying to help," you squeak. Really you felt like it was the least you could do; you'd had a lot of trouble finding a job since moving out here, so you just try to help around the house as much as possible.

"Don't bother!" he shouts, shoving you back against the kitchen counter, "Especially if you're just gonna break shit!"

As you squeeze your eyes shut, cowering away from your boyfriend's outburst, you feel it: the now familiar ice cold breath right next to your ear. A sensation comes over you that almost feels like a hug, protective. Then, loudly, and without warning, all the cabinets in the kitchen burst open as a loud growl rips through the room!

You drop to your knees out of instinct, and the fear-filled tears start to flow. "What the fuck?! You crazy bitch!" your boyfriend cusses at you before storming out of the room. Of course he would blame it on you... A completely unexplainable event, and it's somehow your fault.

Unable to muster the concern to clean the kitchen, you just drag yourself up the stairs, heading to bed early for the night. At least you'll have a long time alone since you know your boyfriend will be up late into the night playing video games and yelling with his friends.

Softly at first, you feel something touch you, like fingers sliding up your side. Automatically, you freeze, unable to fight off this entity that's been bothering you. Next, that hand slides down your thigh. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘢 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥? It certainly feels like one, five fingertips caressing you almost... sensually?

Climbing back up your thigh, this apparition grips your hip as you hear a sigh just over your shoulder. Then, you feel lips at your ear as claws dig into the flesh of your backside, not hard enough to hurt, but just right. An involuntary whimper leaves you as you feel yourself giving into this demon. You have to be hallucinating, 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘴𝘰 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥? It feels just like someone pressed up behind you as hands roam your body bringing you--dare you say it?--pleasure.

Your whole body feels so warm, you could be on fire, but a special kind of heat settles between your legs. Hearing a deep rumble of a moan, you turn your head as much as your muscles will allow, seemingly still frozen to the spot; out of the corner of your eye, you make out the tall golden horns as the figure presses soft kisses to your jaw.

Breathing deeply, he stops, moving to hover above you. In the dark room, you can't see much besides the glimmer of gold metal, the silhouette of his form, a skeletal face, and that glowing white eye. He stares into your eyes, as if asking for permission, and when you continue to stare back, his hand starts to snake down to give you attention where you need it most.

Grunting and grinding your hips up against his fingers, you call out for him, "Papa..." You're not even sure how you know what to call him.

Suddenly, he turns his head as the door creaks open, and in an instant, he's gone, fading away like a fog.

Waking with a gasp, you find you're still on your side cuddling your pillow.

"Hey, it's okay," your boyfriend cooes, "it's just me. Go back to sleep." He comes over and pets your hair as you get your bearings straight.

Your boyfriend climbs in bed, throwing an arm over you and giving you a peck on the forehead, "Goodnight, babe."

The next time this presence--Papa--makes itself known, is when you're entering your room. It's broad daylight outside and all you can make out is a faint gray mist as you're slammed back against the door, the wood rattling loudly in the frame. But before you can freeze up from fright, your eyes flutter closed and a soft sigh leaves your chest as you feel the distinct peppering of kisses across the pulse points of your neck. It's a harsh juxtaposition to the way your boyfriend pushes you around.

Without realizing it, your hands are pinned in place as a haze of lust washes over you, and were it not for the entity bringing you immense and sudden satisfaction, you'd probably be aware of how crazy you look pinned to the door by seemingly nothing.

For the first time, you reach out, allowing yourself a touch. Your fingers are met with a clothed torso. Your run your digits down the buttons on his shirt, stopping at the bottom when his breath hitches as you slip under to tease the skin.

Slowly opening your eyes, you're finally met with the sight of him. At first, you almost don't recognize him as the figure that's been haunting you every night for months. The striking black and white skull visage is unfamiliar to you, yet the horns and white eye, glowing even in the day time, give it away as him.

"Papa?" You properly meet his eyes for the first time; the left a ghastly pale, and the right a warm golden green. Softly, you brush your fingertips across his cheek, hardly able to believe he's real.

"Yes, my child?" He asks warmly, arms still embracing you.

Without another word, you lean up, pressing your lips softly to his. He returns the sentiment with a kiss so sweet, so seemingly full of emotion, you feel tears prickle at the corners of your eyes. As you sigh into the kiss, he takes the opportunity to slip his tongue between your lips, cupping the back of your head to keep you in place. With him, you know if you wanted to pull away, he would let you--but you don't want to.

And you know you should feel guilty about your boyfriend in the next room, but you don't. He had proven time and time again that 𝘩𝘦 was the real horror in this house. So much so that he'd driven you into the arms of a demon.

You feel safer with some creature from hell than you do with your own boyfriend.

As if (ironically) summoned, here he comes, banging on the door to bitch about something else. "Babe! What are you doing in there? What all that moan-"

*SLAM!*

When he pushed the door open, a sharp burst of wind closes it again. Papa simply chuckles and looks down at you; it must've been him that closed the entryway.

Before you can ask, the door flies open again, doorknob slamming into the wall, "What the fuck was that?!" The man screams, locking eyes with you and then with the eccentric looking individual on your arm, "And 𝘸𝘩𝘰 the fuck is 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵?!?!"

𝘌𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘺

"Call me Mephistopheles. Or your worst nightmare, whichever you can actually pronounce," Papa speaks up. "Now, get away from her, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥, or I 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 make you regret it."

"Oh yeah? What's some loser in a cheap Halloween costume gonna do, huh?" your boyfriend retorts.

Rather than waste another breath on this loser, the demon transforms into, well... a demon: hoofed feet, black claws, fiery eyes, and all. What sounds like a choir of screeching tortured souls rings out, causing you to grimace and clap your hands over your ears.

After what feels like forever but was surely only seconds, the sound ceases, and when you open your eyes, your boyfriend is nowhere to be found.

"Is-is he gone?" Your voice cracks, as your body folds against Papa's chest.

He catches you in another embrace, this time dark ashen black leathery wings cocooning around the two of you. "You won't ever have to worry about him again, amore."

Cheavy realizes what he has done, and deems it pointless to keep having Medic around anyways. So to ensure the man dies he confiscates the medigun and leaves Medic to bleed to death. Which he does, very quickly and painfully.

Okay so basically, this is a barely thought out (as it often is) shitty little au where, early on during Medic's recruitment into the TFC team, Cheavy snaps after having to endure misdemeanor after misdemeanor from Medic, and rips his tongue out in a fit of rage for "talking too much".

Idrk what happens between Medic and the Devil, but what I got so far is that the Devil decides eternity in Hell isn't a suitable punishment for Medic. Instead he sends him out back to the mortal plane as a ghost, unable to interact with the people and the world in any way, cursed to watch his team move on without him and spend centuries isolated into a slow decent to further madness.

And then the TF2 comic events happens, and Medic finds out holy shit, he can interact with people, but only with his teammates and through possession. Turns out the time he spent dying and coming back to life in the Respawn machine with the others kinda fucked up the ghost logic and he found a loophole, yayy 🎉🎉🎉

He cannot speak as a ghost (because no tongue, duh) so he uses his teammates as his voice, and sometimes Archimedes, which is very horrifying to hear and see for everyone concerned <3

The Witcher Season 3, Vol 1 - thoughts

Hi! Me! I just have to make a post because I binged all 5 eps yesterday and I am having thoughts and feelings and I need to get them out somehwere!

Long post ahead!

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR S3 VOL 1 BELOW!!!

So...JASKIER IS BISEXUAL!!!!

AND HAS A BOYFRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just...I have so many feelings about this. Like, as a bi person, it means so much to see one of my fave characters be blatantly bisexual on screen! Also, Jaskier has had so much shit recently, and he deserves someone who loves and appreciates him properly, and I am very happy he got that.

I admit, I was worried about Radovid at first, I thought he'd be manipulative and scheming, especially being with Philippa and Dijkstra, but no, he seems like a sweet, kind man. Also, he instantly fell in love with Jaskier and is so fucking whipped for him - he performed his song to him cause he loved it, MY HEART!! Like...they are just the best, and I'm worried the relationship or one of THEM won't survive the season...but for now, HELL YEAH FOR JASKIER X RADOVID!😍🥰

Right - the plot has actually been pretty solid so far, and I'm enjoying it!

Ciri and Jaskier's dynamic is to DIE FOR and I am so happy they seem to be getting along. Would've loved to see the development of the uncle Jaskier and niece Ciri, but that's what fanfic is for I guess! Also, Yen, Ciri and Geralt as a family was fucking adorable.

Hell yeah for Yarpen being back, and for his arc of finally calling Jaskier by his name when Jaskier helped save his people! Also I screeched when Jaskier got shot with that arrow - I genuinely fear he might be killed, though I'm not sure why...🥺😬

GERALT AND JASKIER TRAVELLING TOGETHER, BESTIES HELL YEAH!!!!!🎉 Like, I would like a PROPER apology Geralt (I sigh, and turn to fanfiction, knowing canon will never give that to me), but I am so happy to see them back together. Also, the friendly banter and teasing, the casual affection, the fact that Geralt is actually asking Jaskier to help him and they seem to be super close again, like that is PRECIOUS TO ME!

I would've liked more Yennefer and Jaskier interaction though, I missed them, but hopefully we'll get that in Vol 2, cause we see a Yenskier hug in the teaser!

Geralt is such a dad, and he's been so good with Ciri (mostly) and it warms my heart seeing him be so tender to her. Like, they are just the best! That bit when she jumped on him, and they wrestled playfully?! MY HEART!😍 (Also, RIP original Roach, gone but not forgotten)

Yen and Geralt as a (romantic) relationship have grown on me, I admit, and they had amazing chemistry, especially those last 2 eps, but I am a firm Geraskfer lover (and I love Yenskier and Geraskier seperately too; I started a Geraskier girl though and always will be). Having them at that Ball, and being a power couple was the best though!

Speaking of the Ball, FUCKING STREGOBOR GOT FUCKED UP HELL YEAH FUCK THAT DUDE!!!! I HAVE HATED HIM SINCE S1, SO GLAD HE'S GETTING WRECKED!!!🎉😎 Also, that fucking Vilgefortz twist...I KNEW I DISLIKED HIM FOR A REASON! But that whole thing was so well done, and also, Istredd and Geralt dancing together... I died laughing!!!🤣

Philippa is actaully super interesting and I'd love to know more about her! Seeing Cassie Clare acting more is making me love her though, and I hope she gets to shine again as Mazikeen in Sandman as well. She's so talented.

Ngl, hate Francesca now. She lost her baby yeah, but then she KILLED INNOCENT BABIES AS HER REVENGE? LIKE NO. THAT'S NOT OKAY. That turned me against her, and she's just generally pissing me off, which is a shame cause I really liked her in S2. Glad Fringilla escaped though, wondering when we'll see her again!

Also, is it bad that I kind of shipped Cahir and that elf, Gallatin?🤷‍♂️ Idk, I thought they were cute. Ffs Cahir, killing him?! Also, detour, but, Dara's hair though?! Phenomonal!

Also, so happy to see Jaskier already in four episodes, and we're deffo getting more of him! So glad my boy is getting to do more this season!

Anyway, that's it, for now. I needed to scream about S3!

Maria, when she’s being Yulia - though with her, it’s not quite being aloof and standoffish, more Yulia is just very, very objective and disaffected in behavior so she comes off to many, if not everyone, as rather cold and somewhat distant to people in general. she can certainly emote - purposefully or not - but it either takes a very strong instigation or it looks very painfully clear that it’s an act she’s putting on, no matter how “natural” she is.

the days when we used to talk for like 9 hours in a row (when i was unemployed) were way too much fun, but even now with jobs and timezones and everything, we still manage to be delusional so we're doing great :') and yeah i totally agree, it's nice to have a friend from a diff timezone so we can have each other for company even during odd hours like those 7:30s on the train or the 2ams.

it is a slapped together formulaic pile of shit made by people who don’t care about originality or cohesion and just want to profit off of the care that goes into the mcu films without putting in the effort of any heart or soul. and yes I say this as someone who thinks everything post-endgame is shallow and empty and not very good (in fact a lot of endgame was bad too especially after I rewatched cap 1). but even then it’s still better than sony’s atrocious log of poo they tried to call a movie.

the trailer? hot garbage. the venom line is dishonest. the vtuber interview was the cringiest thing I’ve ever seen and if you have no idea what I’m talking about don’t look it up please for the love of god I am literally begging you.

it opens with a flashback that flashes further back then flashes forward then flashes forward then returns to the present day. instead of just going in chronological order. it’s jumping around for the sake of jumping around and pretending to be deep and meaningful like it’s memento or kill bill volume 1 or pulp fiction or the butterfly effect or slaughterhouse five or some other actually good movie with heart and soul poured into its script and narrative. this was somehow WORSE than beyond two souls was. SOMEHOW THEY MADE A WORSE NARRATIVE THAN BY DAVID FUCKING CAGE. CONGRATULATIONS 🎉

the plot is basically jurassic park but with vampire bats. see, morby and his bestie have a blood disease so mister morb became a doctor who was so good and cool and awesome they devoted two entire scenes to showing just how of a good and cool and awesome doctor he is. he talked to a little girl and said he was gonna save the world awww how sweet he loves children what a swell guy. he even declined a nobel prize because he’s just so sweet and kindhearted and generous! and he was so good of a doctor he did research on vampire bats because, and I am directly quoting the movie here, VAMPIRE BATS ARE THE ONLY KNOWN LIVING CREATURE WHO EVOLVED SOLELY TO FEED ON BLOOD. even though vampire bats eat a varied diet including fruit. even though ticks fleas and the thing they ripped off MOSQUITOES also solely feed on blood. but I guess we’re just ignoring that insects exist. whatever. pseudoscience bullshit even by comic book standards.

so he goes into morb mode and splices his own DNA with vampire bat DNA (like spiderman but stupider), which turns him into a vampire. but a science vampire without any magic. besides the magic wispies that trail behind him when he flies. because he can fly for some reason. but it makes him *lightning crashes* crave blood so he goes crazy and kills a bunch of people and he’s like OH GOD I’M A MONSTER and if this movie were made fifteen years ago it would have played animal I have become by three days grace or monster by skillet or something which honestly would have improved it by making it bad enough to enjoy making fun of. not here.

so, he drinks the artificial blood that he invented to keep the cravings down. but he says that it’ll stop working soon. eventually. the movie doesn’t subtly indicate this, no, it has the main character talk to the camera like this is dora the explorer or mickey mouse clubhouse or some other show made for literal babies. eventually he resorts to stealing real blood. which would solve the problem. remember this is a big deal and a central driving force behind morb’s motivations. he will kill if he runs out of blood. morby also along the way randomly decides to stop a meth lab because he overhead thugs talking about it so he beats up the meth lab people and remember the cringey trailer where he was like “I’m venom RARGH ha just kidding I’m michael morbius at your service”? yeah well they kept the “I’m venom RARGH” part but the entire rest was gone. that’s right. anyway some dumb shit happens and Token Wimmin gets killed to give Morby ManPain™️ and motivation to fight the bad guy and protect the innocents. except she doesn’t die she turns into a vampire for the sequel. 🙄

Morby fights some cops and stuff with Zack Snyder Random Slow Motion which looks fucking atrocious. Which remember the cops are trying to stop him for all of the murder he did against all of those innocent people but oh don’t worry he told a dying little girl in a hospital that it would all be all right because he’s still a good man on the inside he’s just a monster on the outside augh it’s so goddamn fucking cheesy I hate this stupid movie but there’s only so much of if left thank god fuck everything.

Morby’s final showdown with Evil Doctor Who is just basically he points at him and the vampire bats that he for some reason has magical control over (remember there’s no magic and only science) and then he kills him oh no how sad stupid bullshit happens and he flies away on the backs of the vampire bats into the sunset.

And then the Spiderman No Way Home sky thingy just shows up in the sky and Michael Keaton as Vulture from Spiderman shows up and he talks to Morb and says that he wants to form a team to stop Spiderman. Which… is completely not in line with what No Way Home meant. It’s like they didn’t even fucking watch the movie. I didn’t even watch the movie and I know that’s fucking stupid. Meaning that Sony wants to open the gates for the Sinister Six movie.

So, the Sinister Six was Doc Ock, Electro, Kraven, Mysterio, Sandman, and Vulture. Then the roster changed around to include Hobgoblin, Scorpion, Shocker, Venom (briefly before they betrayed him), Lizard, Chameleon, and Rhino. Green Goblin was too technically but only once and even then it was the Sinister Twelve. Morbius was in the Sinister Sixty Six. Neither of those count or are that marketable and thus will never ever happen. So out of the roster we have left who weren’t basically removed from being threats (or killed), you have Vulture, Kraven, Hobgoblin, Scorpion, Chameleon, and Rhino. Okay fine I’m sure that with Leto’s Morbius, Keaton’s Vulture, Giamatti’s Rhino, Hardy’s Venom, it would be easy to pick from the other four. I might actually like to see Kraven or Hobgoblin or Chameleon implementer in a Spiderman film. So it’s definitely POSSIBLE. But how in the fuck are we gonna EVER get a good movie from Sony with six villains??? THEY COULDN’T EVEN DO THREE CORRECTLY, AND THEY TRIED THAT TWICE. There is no possible way on this earth in this universe in this timeline they’re ever going to make it not a complete steaming dump all over Stan Lee’s legacy. Morbius alone is a clusterfuck. And Venom is only good because they know what they’re doing and marketing it towards their specific niche. He would not work in an ensemble cast. Even a director who’s good was barely able to hold together Two-Face and Joker, and even a director who’s competent was barely able to hold together Green Goblin Jr, Sandman, and Eric Foreman Venom. And these useless fuckers want to do six. Please.

Morbius was trash and I hope it disappears completely as nothing but a footnote on KnowYourMeme dot com.
