Guys.. there's something I need to confess..

*Ahem*

If you guys ever thought that my Sonic and Sonic.exe phase are bad.. just know, that..

My Minecraft phase was even WORSE as a kid.

NO- FR- I used to play the game so much on my mom's old computer, I accidentally got blown up by my first mob, which was a Creeper (because I genuinely thought it was harmless), I even got 2 Minecraft plushies (I think.?) And a Minecraft poster of a cat chasing a creeper. I used to have 2 posters, but one of them just didn't wanna stick on the wall, so my mom had to put it away because the corner were already ripped a bit. I even used to have this big Minecraft torch that I would put on my wall as a nightlight (but it eventually faded in light and had to be put away as well)-- hell, I even have a Minecraft bed sheet as well as 2 pillow covers for my 2 pillows (because I had a little Among us phase and now have a blanket, 2 plushies, and a pillow cover relating to that game- BUT WE DONT TALK ABOUT THAT ^^"). And if you think that isn't enough, I have 2 little figures of Alex and this... Blaze (I think thats what it was..? Idk), both of them in minecarts stored inside of the little pokeballs I have on the desk close to the mirror. I think I might have a few Minecraft related stuff hidden away, but I'm too lazy to think about them since I just woke up and started writing this-- but yea....

I even used to have the Minecraft Story Mode games, and even Minecraft on the Xbox because WHY NOT?! :]

Though.. I didn't play Minecraft on the Xbox as much since I was so used to the PC version, so it was a bit hard to control it.

Not only that, but the fact I used to hear fanmade Minecraft parody songs of popular songs at the time.... I used to hear so many parodies of my favorite songs, even the infamous "Don't Mine at Night" song 😭

I used to hear it so much that, now when I hear those said popular songs on the radio I always play when I'm asleep, I start to remember the lyrics of those Minecraft parody songs more than the actual songs playing on the radio WHICH- MIND YOU- ITS STILL MY FAVORITE RADIO STATION TO THIS DAY DESPITE THE OBVIOUS SUGGESTIVE SONGS💀😭

But they bring back old classics sometimes and even some good new songs, so its all good👍 (and hey, maybe even a bit of Disney songs at rare times, or maybe some songs that I've heard in animation memes- those are always fun to stumble into when listening to the same radio station for years, now.)

But uhmm.................

But I guess I can't say my Minecraft phase wasn't too bad, per se...? Because I did the same with My Little Pony, The Powerpuff Girls, Pokemon, Five Nights at Freddy's(that phase was.... hell, actually. I couldn't stop talking about the game to my parents- and because of the movie that came out a long time ago but is still recent- it boosted the little fnaf phase that i had left hanging by a thread due to my Sonic phase taking over, i got to buy fnaf merch as well--), Bendy and The Ink Machine(it was a bit minor, but it definitely did a very good impact to my phase with FNAF), Cuphead(again, i watched gameplay and started hearing cuphead fan songs over and over, and i even have both Cuphead games that i never finished- i think i used to have a comic dub phase where i would watch so many cuphead dubs as well as FNAF and Baldi's Basics), Just Shapes and Beats (again- i just watched so much gameplay, I even had an animation meme phase that lasted up to 2022, and played the Story Mode many times as well as making my parents play the multi-player mode with me :])-- Fandroid, and then there was a bit of Osu one day, then I went from Nightcore to hearing Vocaloid, and then FNF (which was just watching the gameplays of almost all of the fnf mods I knew as well as hearing some of the fnf mod songs over and over, which i still do! It's just... filled with demon hedgehogs that have a little word next to them called "EXE", so uhm... YEA-), and not only that, but fnf mods were actually the ones that introduced me to the Fleetway comics and even started my Sonic.exe phase (which I still have.......-) and then I eventually watched gameplay of the Sonic.exe fan games, too.)

So, uhm...

Me having a Sonic phase isn't exactly new...

But I'm back to buying merch. And when I say that, I mean like.. I got at least 3 T-shirts of this blue gumball son of a gun, 2 Shadow plushes, 3 Sonic plushes, a rectangle package that has at least 4 or 3 official Sonic art as frames to put on the wall (but I never did because the nails that I see in my room are kinda running out, so it's just sitting there on the floor, using the wall as support to keep it up), a little Sonic school pouch to put in my school stuff, some Sonic stickers--

I think it's obvious that you can find a little bit of everything in my room.

So uh.....

Ok then! Let's do it!

(Just a quick note: the character was made by a creator that was exposed as a groomer last year, so I just wanted to say that I DO NOT SUPPORT HIM AND/OR ACTIONS, I just wanted to make that clear)

1-Who is that f/o?

That f/o is called 404, a character that was introduced during 2023 in Fandroid The Musical Robot, where was considered the main antagonist during that time

2-Who is 404? (Or how is his personality)

404 can be described as a formal and a VERY egotistical character, believing that is above other robots and/or their activities in some moments, especially when it comes to his own apperance (which I will elaborate on his lore part); he can be quite aggresive sometimes, as in his words (like making threats or insulting others) as his actions too; it's implied that he can get annoyed/angry very easily when others annoy him or make fun of him (that last part happened during the time he hacked the official Fandroid account, but bc of the fact that this account was deleted, there isn't proof of that, so take this information as a grain of salt)

3-His lore/backstory (that isn't that‌‌‌ much sadly)

-Some time ago, 404 was made as a error, which was considered as "unworthy of a body" for others (the quotes show what he said during the first time that he appeared on a stream). Bc of that, in 2023, he decided to start ripping apart other robots to use their parts to make his own body, which, in his opinion, "they fit so much better in him than on their original owners" (that's why I said that he very egotistical with his appearance and very aggresive in his actions sometimes). Not only that, he also hacked the official Fandroid account in April 1 (lol) and stayed there for a week, which he said some stuff there too (like "killing" a robot named Frogbot for example ["killing" bc later on it's confirmed that he was still alive, with just his eye and screen shattered and one of his arms being ripped apart]); also, I would like to say that, in my interpretation, he is very determined in his objectives, bc, not only he was determined to make his own body, he also wanted to leave the facility he was in to take over the world.

4-character design

I really like the design itself, with a very good monochrome color palette of Black and white (my favorite part of his design is his eyes, bc I LOVE that type of eye shadows that reminds me of those old cartoons, y'know?)

But...I have just one critic for it: the design doesn't really reminds me of someone that used other robot parts to make his own, it's like they look..."samey" in a certain way (obviously putting many features in the design wouldn't also work bc it could show so many information in a character, but giving a little bit of variety in it could be a little better imo)

Either way, I still like that design :3

5-Some fun facts

- It's 6'0 inches tall, which makes him the tallest robot of the others that were shown in Fandroid's universe

-He also hacked the chat in the streams before (if I remember correctly) and the mapping system

-According to a character named B-PO, it's possible that 404 is not waterproof, sooo...yeah, don't give any water to him or he will die

-his official voice actor was ViewtifulVal

-He's also bisexual

-And He's also the only character confirmed that has legs

6-Why do I like him so much?

Tbh...I didn't like him that much before, sometimes I was even scared of him when he hacked the account in April 1, but I started to like mainly bc of his design 🤣🤣🤣. But...really, he's the type of character that I can't really let go, like...I might not be into Fandroid like I was before, but 404 is the one that makes me stay; not only that, he is one of the few characters that I'm invested and have a very strong connection with (others being Om Nom from the Cut The Rope, Ink Sans from the community of Undertale AU's [the creator of Ink is Comyet if I wrote correctly btw], Babs Bunny from Tiny Toons [although I still need to finish that cartoon, but I'm lazy 🥲] and recently Nabiu from TFQoN), like...I really love to imagine him in different scenarios from my head, draw him when I can, make headcanons, make content related to him...anyways, I like create stuff related to him :D

6-TLDR and extra notes

Although I consider him a very unknown character for other people, I'm really happy that this bastard (/affectionate) has been in my head and heart for 2 years since 2023, and I hope I still stick with in later years <3

she just Knows that fandroid isn't doing okay mentally, that he's struggling from the pressure of...a lot of things, really. (i could go off, but that's another ask.) she's concerned about his mental health, and asks him about it, but every time, he brushes her off, insisting that he's fine.

but all that does is worry her more.

I had… very concerning dreams last night.

They were all actually recurring dreams from years ago, but yk…

I’m gonna skip over the first dream, since it’s not Fandroid Related and it also would be very triggering for some people who have experienced someone bringing… ‘certain machinery’ to their school…

Anyways, I’ll tell you all the 2nd dream I had…

It was a Fandroid Dream.

404 managed to break into the Security Bunker and started dismantling all the bots in the bunker.

404 starts with the ‘other 32 bots’ in the room. It was quite hard to though, since everyone was running around shouting.

Every time 404 manages to grab a bot, it brutally rips apart the robot. The sounds of the blood-curdling screams coming from the poor bot until they can’t scream anymore, because they are dead.

Some bots call for BEEP-0, but poor BEEP-0 has already been a victim to 404; their body lying on it’s side in the Control Room, gutted like a fish.

Eventually, all the bots were dismantled; body parts strewn everywhere throughout the bunker. All bots… apart from Fandroid, Melody, and Frogbot.

The 3 of them were huddled into the corner, staring at the amalgamation of their fellow robots, made by some sort of parasite.

And what makes it worse, was that amalgamation was staring back at them; the sinister grin on it’s malformed face never faltering.

404 lets out a villain-esque laugh; it’s a mix between it’s voice, and all the other voices of the bots inside it. It’s glitchy, and faulty, but doesn’t stop it from sending chills down the trio’s metaphorical spines.

As 404 lets in a faulty inhale, it then proceeds to use it’s eyes to scan across the 3 robots…

…and it’s eyes land on Frogbot.

Suddenly, a wirey-appendage, - presumably an arm, - shoots out from 404’s body, and snatches Frogbot.

Fandroid tries to grab Frogbot’s arm; but alas, he tried to grab for the one that isn’t there.

Frogbot lets out a gut-wrenching scream as he is ripped apart by 404; Fandroid and Melody having to watch one of their friends’ eyes flicker out as their body is torn into 2.

The 2 remaining bots watch as their friend’s corpse is consumed by the amalgamate, watches as their friend joins the other victims.

Artificial tears start leaking out of Fandroid & Melody’s screened eyes. What they just witnessed was traumatising.

Their grip on eachother tightens; hoping, praying, that neither would be taken next; they were the only thing eachother had left; they couldn’t lose eachother.

But sadly, 404 doesn’t care about that.

Another wire-appendage-arm shoots out from the seething mass of wires and parts; wrapping itself around Melody before harshly pulling her away.

Luckily, Fandroid manages to grab ahold of Melody. It is now a life-or-death tug-of-war for the Drone Buddy.

The following dialogue happens…

“Melody, I’ve got you. I won’t let that thing take you, I swear-”

“Fandroid. Fandroid please don’t let go. Please-”

“I won’t let go. I won’t. Okay? I-I won’t let you be dismantled. You’re the only one left-”

“I’m scared. Fandroid, please, I don’t want to die-”

“I won’t let you die, Melody, as long as I’m here-”

“Fandroid. Fandroid you’re slipping. Please-”

“No, no, I’m not, I’ve got you, I swear I have-”

“Fandroid-”

Fandroid’s grip on Melody slips.

“FANDROID!—”

“MELODY!—”

Fandroid’s grip on Melody completely slips away, as Fandroid is sent flying back straight into a wall, and Melody hurtling towards the mass of wires and parts.

But Fandroid manages to recover quite quickly; quick enough to watch is Best Friend get brutally ripped apart.

“NO!—” Fandroid screams, stretching his arm out towards Melody. Melody lets out a heart-wrenching screech - her screen flickers out as she is torn into 2 pieces.

Fandroid is paralysed; he watches as 404 consumes his best friend, like she meant nothing.

To rub salt into the wound, a shard of her screen cracks off and lands right infront of Fandroid.

If Fandroid had tear ducts, he’d be bawling right now. But the grief-stricken cries from him will substitute for the lack of real tears. Maybe even the simulated tears rolling down his virtual face could suffice aswell.

Fandroid notices the shard of Melody’s screen; he scrambles for it; but before he can snatch it, a wirey tendril lands ontop of the shard and slurps it up like a noodle.

Fandroid looks up at 404.

“Why-” he croaks out through his sobs.

“WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS!?” He yells; a mix of anger and sadness plaguing his voice.

404 looks down at him. After a moment, it replies:

“T̷̮̋̓̾ͅớ̶͈̮̅ ̷̞̯̚g̷̡͎̺̈́̓̀ì̴̤v��͙̼̒̇ȇ̶͉̺ ̵̪͍͍̋̂͒m̸͈̞̹͛ė̶͚̥̝͐ ̶̞̽͝á̴̯̯ ̵͔̝̽b̸̭̬͋o̴̧̖͋͊d̴̳̑̃y̸̲̙̲̐͊̈́.”

Fandroid looks surprised at this answer; before settling onto a look of anger, disgust. That is not a good reason on why this thing should do this.

But 404 doesn’t care. Like it said; it’s only motive is to give itself a body. And that’s what it will do.

Another wire-appendage-arm shoots out and grasps Fandroid.

Fandroid instantly kicks into panic mode; he squirms and wriggles, trying to become free of this iron hold.

As he is drawn closer to 404, the squirming and wriggling becomes more frantic.

His mind is racing; he’s going to die.

But it’s no use.

When Fandroid finally arrives face to face with 404, another wirey-appendage-arm wraps around Fandroid’s monitor. Then, both wirey-appendage-arms start pulling in opposite directions.

Terrified grunts and mumbles escape Fandroid as his panicking starts to rise; those grunts and mumbles turning into distressed shouting.

Robots can’t really feel pain, but boy is this painful.

Agonising screams emit from Fandroid as he is teared apart; bolts and screws trying their best to keep him in one piece, but inevitably fails.

And just like that, the screaming comes to a faulty but painful stop.

Fandroid has been dismantled.

And just like the others, the corpse of Fandroid is consumed by the seething mass of wires and parts.

404 lets out another sinistrous laugh, the laugh now including Fandroid, Melody and Frogbot’s voices; it has become larger and more powerful.

It looks around at the Chaos it has caused. How beautiful is this?

404 then crawls out of the Security Bunker; there’s nothing else it needs here now.

It might be big, but it just needs one more thing; maybe a certain robot trapped in a certain box? He will make some fine parts to 404’s body.

And after that, 404 might go absorb some other parts… maybe QUALIA robots could be fine pieces… maybe humans could be good parts!

Bellowing laughter echoes throughout ADHOC.

404 has won.

Aaaaand that’s my dream! 😄 kinda scary, don’t you think? 👀

You ever spend so long writing/expanding on an extremely minor and undeveloped background character you become intensely attached to them? To the point where you try and find ways to recreate them in-game?

Thus is my fate, to fall too hard for this extremely fanon/headcanoned version of Theron’s poor, doomed astromech from Lost Suns, who has sort of graduated into his sidekick in this AU fic I’ve been working on forever-and-a-day. So much so, I’ve gone and tracked down the closest customization for T7 in-game to my little dome-headed pal.

I’m not sure at what point I started to fall for my little fanonized version of this obscure and forgotten astromech, but it was somewhere between him fandroiding over T7′s cult status within the SIS droid circle, and this beautiful exchange:

It also gave Theron a moment to contact M-6 to have the astromech meet them at engineering. Sliding a glance at his two, for lack of a better word, companions filling the corridor with quiet chatter, he decided to send the message to M-6 over a text relay within his implants.

The data packet came back in seconds, and the droid beeped in his ears. Curious, he replied with a query, receiving a very simple response. It was a crude pictographic data packet, but he understood the droid’s meaning.

He thought about sending back a warning to the little astromech that he should watch his language in any official medium that might be reviewed later by the analytics department -- but that'd probably be hypocritical. Plus, Theron had no doubt who would get the blame for corrupting the circuits of innocent little astromech droids if the Director of the SIS ever heard a droid cursing in binary.

Does canon!M-6 flip Theron the bird via emoji like my widdle fic!M-6 does? EH. Probably not. He seems to be more of a worry wart, and a storytelling device so Theron has someone to monologue to and infodump on before he gathers the rest of the cast as companions. Poor little faithful guy, he’s just happy to let Theron babble on endlessly about software upgrades and implants, wake up in the middle of the night to haul animal carcasses away that he tried to warn Theron about, and also haul most of the pieces of his giant spy ray around everywhere.

Sadly, he only lasts three of the five comics before he’s unceremoniously dissected off-screen by Imperials. RIP M-6, best little spy droid buddy. You live on in my heart. And apparently this fic if it ever sees the light of day.

top 10 records - new/young/breaking artists

I got tagged by both @towonderland72 2​ and @hjertetssunnegalskap1 negalskap1​ (whom I love) in a top 10 albums thing... but one of them did their top 10 that came out within the past year, and the other did their faves of all time. So... I’m going to go in between, and highlight some fave new records of the past few years. 

Of course I’m gonna be extra about it and throw some links in there (mostly to the Gay Shit) because of course I am (are the kids still saying “extra”?). All of these artist are new, young, and/or breaking. I also went for full albums that I think are great - as opposed to artists where I’ll listen to just one or two tracks off their new records. I’ll describe the lesser-known ones, too! 

Okay! In no particular order, my recent faves are: 

Dirty Computer (2018) - Janelle Monáe - i’ve been a fandroid for years and my queen has finally gone mainstream with THIS MASTERPIECE. if you haven’t, you need to watch the emotion picture right now. [fave tracks: Django Jane, I Like That, Pynk]

Turn Out the Lights (2017) - Julien Baker - 23 year old singer-songwriter. southern, queer, and religious. writes/sings about mental health. each of her songs will rip your heart out. her prior album is also incredible and her live performance videos are captivating. [fave tracks: Appointments (omg peep the vid), Hurt Less]

Big Fish Theory (2017) - Vince Staples - hip hop. 25 year old rapper from California. this record rules and Vince is the best; watch his ep of Hot Ones. got to see him live this year at a summer festival. [fave tracks: Big Fish is great, but love BagBak]

DAMN. (2017) - Kendrick Lamar - everyone knows this man and this genius album. [fave tracks: ELEMENT.]

Everybody Works (2017) - Jay Som - lo-fi bedroom pop from a young Asian-American woman who is “the new queer voice of indie rock”. a solid record and an earworm. fun fact: this came out on my 30th birthday. [fave tracks: The Bus Song]

Out in the Storm (2017) - Waxahatchee - killer indie rock jangly girl band. loved their first record, too. [fave tracks: Never Been Wrong, Sparks Fly, A Little More]

Ursa Minor (2017) - Nana Grizol - indie folk rock from Georgia, although the frontman is originally from Ohio! he is open and deliberate about the queerness of their art. this is modern protest music and every track is important. sexuality, consumerism, & capitalism. oh and their 2010 record Ruth is great, too. [fave tracks: Photos From When We Were Young, Nightlights II, T.V. Song]

NASIR (2018) - Nas - this one breaks the new/young rule but whatever, Nas is still killing it with tracks that are relevant af. 100% of these songs get stuck in my head. [fave tracks: everything is actually, like, moving... although it does feature Kanye, which, ugh]

Guppy (2017) - Charly Bliss - early 20s indie power pop band from Brooklyn NY. this debut record is catchy as fuck. every song is great. the lead singer has this scratchy high-pitched voice, and her lyrics are both deep and funny. [fave tracks: Westermarck, Scare U, DQ]

Noen ganger og andre (2017) - Cezinando - you obviously know him. this record is brilliant start to finish. dang, son. [fave tracks: Heia meg, Jeg bare synes du skulle ha hørt på meg]

As it turns out, none of these artists/bands is (lead by) a cishet white man. Keeping it on-brand, I guess. xD <3
