So my betrothed has been Suffering with backlash from Wyvern and allergy testing. They’re having trouble working out and their chest is consistently tight even with nasal sprays and antihistamines so we’ve been looking to get a beefier air purifier for their room.

Today I went on a secret journey to go pick one up off OfferUp. It’s a city that has taiyaki which isn’t near us and so I’m also getting delicious treats while I’m in the area. I’m excited to have it set up and surprise them when they get home.

A short thing inspired by @warmblanketwhump‘s post about fever chills that's been in my drafts for way too long 😅

The conversation had become a distant blur of sounds A no longer had the energy to follow; they ceased the polite nods and “mhm”s miles ago, opting instead to sit quietly, gazing out the window at passing scenery with half-lidded eyes while the others chatted around them.

"...'bout you A?" Who? "Think they fell asleep" C gently nudged A's arm and repeated B's question "We're stopping soon, do you want anything?" "No..." They shivered. "...could you turn down the AC?" B's brow furrowed in concern from behind the wheel. "A, the AC is off. You ok?" Now that they though about it, A had been unusually quiet. "Mhm" A mumbled. They were still half-asleep, still exhausted and aching and freezing... but they didn't to ruin the trip. A straightened up in the seat and did their best to keep the next shiver at bay. "Yeah, I'm fine."

Cody's desertion from the Empire seems short-lived when a bounty hunter catches him and hauls him back - but when the Empire double-crosses the hunter, Cody and this near-stranger end up on the run together. Struggling with the memory of turning on Obi-Wan Kenobi, the last thing Cody wants is to poke at the secrets that marked both him and the bounty hunter for death. Too bad this hunter won't let those secrets lie. (Also they're gay.)

I don’t know what’s wrong with me, I say, knowing anyone following this tumblr can guess. anyway that cody/oc fic I posted a while back is now on ao3, and if you read it here most of it’s familiar but there is bonus content at the end of this chapter! never before seen sad Cody content. if you’re a codywan fan this fic is the closest i’ll probably ever come to writing it, which may seem insulting now (sorry i promise it’s not) but you’ll see why it matters whenever i get to the last chapter. anyway. no promises on update scheduling this is for ME but it’s also for all of you i love you all. and cody. especially i love cody.

Road Trip 1/4 🏙️

Kerry: "Fuck, couldn't even tell ya when the last time was I went on a road trip." V: "Never been on one at all." Kerry: "... you kiddin'?" V: "Well, I guess you could count that half year I worked as a roadie. But that was more work than fun." Kerry: "If you're travelling with a band and don't've stories of wild escapades to tell on day two you're doing somethin' wrong." V: "That so?" Kerry: "Okay... lemme tell ya a story..."

I recently talked about how I love imagining Kerry and Vince on a long-ish road trip together, telling stories, absentmindedly holding hands, just enjoying the scenery and getting away from NC for a little while. And starting arguments with random radio DJs about old songs xD I bet Kerry has many stories to tell not only about his Samurai times but also his own tours and the shenanigans he went up to. Even Vince has a handful of travel stories to share, although he's not nearly as far-travelled as Kerry.

Where are they headed here? Not as important as they way to get there...
