Wild roses! Isn't pink just the most bewitching colour? I love it, but I can't wear it. Redheaded people can't wear pink, not even in the imagination. Do you know of anybody whose hair was red when she was young, but got to be another colour when she grew up? I shouldn't think it likely. There's another hope gone.

Yep, that could be his way of “earning” the lordship. Right now, Edric makes sense in the novels because he’s received an exceptional education, was acknowledged by Robert, highborn on both sides and was known/loved in Storm’s End. So him being legitimized and ennobled in a post series world where most or all of the Baratheons are dead wouldn’t be without strong precedence. But Gendry, as the unacknowledged and uneducated bastard who may or may not be Robert’s son gaining the lordship would be a harder pill to swallow, unless he achieved extraordinary feats or at least earned the gratitude of very important people.

This fic is absolutely awesome and I remember that this was the first gendry x arya fic that I read and I really need to catch up on reading it because I adore how the author wrote about different scenes from the books in a very realistic way. The alternating pov every chapter also gives the readers an in-depth understanding of how gendry and arya both perceive each other.  10/10 would recommend.

A one-shot fic that specifically focuses on their reunion. It’s more of a futuristic gendry & arya and I think that this is a great take on how they will reunite someday. I love their dialogue here, it just gives my shipper heart satisfaction plus give me all the angst and fluff -  this fic has it all.

okay so this fic is my absolute fave ever. ahhhh i love this so much. the characterization, the conflict, the plot, everything. This is post-canon and if gendry and arya’s possible conflicts in their relationship someday could be written, then this is an absolutely fantastic fic for it. It takes place after the war and omygoodness anon it’s amazing and very in line with the asoiaf world. It’s amazing. (a huge thanks to @robbmargaerys for telling me about this fic) i am in love
