So WoL just gonna roll up to the Wandering Stairs, or next outing of the void hunter gang in the First, like "Yo Cyella check out my new ride" huh?

Highlights of Endwalker additional role quests
Yes all the highlights are Nero. What did you expect from me?
Nero lurking. As soon as I saw his boots I was squealing.
THIS IS WHAT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR. Nero has dreams and ambitions apart from Garlond and the Ironworks. I was so afraid he was going to be stuck there for the rest of the game. I love seeing him going after what he wants.
We absolutely cannot deny the heavens Nero’s genius. It would be wrong.
She’s just so cute.
Despite claiming to only be there to further his own goals, he suddenly appears from the rubble and gives some despondent Garlean refugees a very effective pep talk. And everything he says here is what I love about him. What Severia loves about him.
Severia smiling at Nero, knowing there’s a good heart in there. (OMG SE thank you for letting my WoL smile at Nero. It made me so happy.) And his little sulk (cute!!) knowing he’s given himself away.
Nero just assuming he’s allowed to tag along with all the Alliance Leaders and their Champion.
NGL I spent a lot of time trying to get screens of Severia and Nero fighting together.
The best part was Nero was there til the end. The final fight was just WoL, Nero and Fourchenault. Nero is a badass, ok? He swings that hammer around and does fucking flips in the air like it’s nothing.
Severia smiling at Nero as he runs off to join the group bound for the Moon. Her man, pursuing his dreams. She’s so proud.

So I’m reading The Green Knight for my Medieval English lit class and I went back and watched your Arthuriana videos for fun nostalgia, but I noticed when you were covering the Green Knight you called Arthur tired. Was there a specific reason why you did that or is that one of those things that, if you decided to redo that video, you would change? I just found it interesting bc the poem clearly states Arthur as boyish and his reason for initially accepting the challenge was pride.
The character of King Arthur that lives in my head has a little more "has been through the Arthuriana timeloop too many times" malaise than any proper characterization of King Arthur in the original stories. The story drifts and changes over time but Camelot always falls, because Arthur is a good king - some would say the perfect king - but that still isn't good enough.

i'm so sorry for judging you, your honor.
he's so??? nice??? and?? awkward??? 😭 That was NOT how I was expecting the first meeting to be but I'm not complaining at all!! In terms of manner-of-speech, he reminds me of Zhongli but unlike him, he possesses like -10000000 emotional intelligence. That scene of him constantly apologizing to Navia because he doesn't know what else to say or do is now stuck in my head. I'm convinced he'd be the most frustrating male yandere in genshin ever — yes, you can step down now Alhaitham.
Because, not only does he seem to genuinely not understand humans, but also that he's terrible at expressing his own emotions. It'll be so difficult to communicate with him in matters that involve emotions that you'd much rather go to prison (I know I'd just end up crying from sheer frustration). Yes no grandpa, making it rain actually doesn't help. Putting that aside, whew that archon quest...

I decided to form a volunteer group─the Silver Griffins. Our main concern is the welfare of Ala Mhigans who sided with the Empire─for whatever reason─and helping them find their place in society. In particular, the surviving families of the Crania Lupi.
Make no mistake─I've not forgiven them. I don't have that in me, and I doubt I ever will. But the memory of that day in the palace, of Fordola asking to be locked up again after saving us all...it stayed with me.
Got me to thinking about why she and the other youths would commit such atrocities. Why they'd swear to serve the Empire. And the answer was simple: because they'd seen what we'd seen and suffered much the same.
In a hell where all were condemned, they chose to betray one brother to save another. That's how the Garleans win─not by breaking you, but by making you break yourself. By making that choice the right one for a man at the end of his tether.
Healing only begins with liberation─and some scars never will regardless. Those who've returned from foreign lands may have difficulty carving out a living here, but the ones who'd pledged allegiance to Garlemald...
This is not the Ala Mhigo we dreamed of. But after twenty years of misery, I'll not see it all thrown away because we can't come to terms with the past. That's why I formed the Silver Griffins. To see that no one is cast aside.
-Raganfrid Bleaker, Endwalker Healer role quests
Raganfrid remains one of my favorite secondary characters. He doesn’t forget the past, but despite his justified anger and weariness, he tries to understand why people made the choices they did to survive, and find a way forward now that the situation has changed for everyone to try to heal his war-torn country.
Ala Mhigo had serious issues and divisions even before the Garleans swooped in, taking advantage of the chaos (that they had accelerated and exacerbated to make conquest easier), but the future is yet to be decided--a future Raganfrid won’t see, given his advanced age, but he’s determined to help heal what he can so his people have a better life.
He’s perhaps one of the best leaders in the game, for putting aside his personal feelings to do what’s right for everyone else, with thought and care and a mind for the future others will inherit from his generation.
We could all learn a lot from him, as some of the characters have.
