pearl's set up to be another prosecutor like her ma, she's still a very sweet girl but she is very antagonistic towards miles and franziska bc they're going against prosecutor maya, who she still loves very much and idolizes.

i thought it would interesting if she served as an angry little force to be reckoned with during investigations instead of being helpful in what would be considered jfa in the swap au

she does grow a lot more chiller once she grows up pftt

also, kind of been thinking of pearls and simon friendshipisms bc when i was like doing an age table of all the swap au characters in excel, i realized that they'd be the same age which is WILD lol (i mean athena and pearl are the same age too so i should've seen it coming, but still!! wild!!!)

in my heart of hearts, pearl and simon are some flavor of aroace and whatever pearl wants to do with anybody's love life doing is going to be a disaster ASKSKS sorry queen </3

In your roleswap au do rauru and Sonia have a kiddo yet? If so, what do they look like?

yes :) her name is tetra, and she's probably 3-4 at the time of the au. i imagine her parents sent her to one of the nearby kingdoms (such as the zoras domain yona would be from thousands of years in the future) when things started getting dangerous.

yep, they are! nahyuta and dhurke are swapped! it's been a while since i've thought about aa6 in any capacity for the swap au bc, let's be real, it's so hard to piece together LMAO ORZ

it's such a swerve to go from miles, klavier, and simon to "OH IT'S APOLLO TIME NOW!!!!!!!!" in the au WHEEZES so i did think about making aa6 like, swapollo's version of an investigations game just so it'd make sense that he gets the spotlight this time.

and yea, nahyuta and co. are here (i unfortunately don't have a design for rayfa yet :^[) but from what i remember, i haven't actually like, solidified their lore in the story bc again, it's very difficult to do (i just like drawing and character design why did i do this orz) DFGHD but yea. somehow, he left khura'in and went into japanifornia with a semblance of a plan in hand and if he could, find his long-lost brother :'^)

i did think about nahyuta approaching the eaa being one of the first things he did (reasons tba pftt) but the idea that he's your co-counsel in the 6-2 is really fun! i do remember switching out the prosecutor in this case to apollo, just for the added trucy angst (bc she still is the one who gets accused in this), and bc of "uh oh what's this!!! my long-lost sibling on the other side of the courtroom!! WHAT!!!!!!!!!"

as for dhurke, i haven't built a lot of lore stuff for him yet (bc i cannot remember aa6 lore very well DFGHD) but just. the switcahroo trick of him being gone the whole time? very fun. you know who else had a switcharoo moment in aa6? hey hold on, why is nayna not here in this au?? why is dhurke's hair lavender????? anyways :^]

They don't hide the body; instead, Kel takes Sunny's hand and runs away from there. Because the police are incompetent in this au: Mari's death was ruled as a suicide (somehow lol) Kel becomes extremely paranoid, thinking everyone is out to get him is not happy or smiley anymore Hero copes with Mari's death by shutting himself off but snaps out of it once he sees his brother isn't doing so good. Hero tries to spend time with Kel but Kel doesn't want to Hero eventually leaves for college leaving Kel alone Basil, having been spared the trauma, is the new Kel and has moved on from Maris's death, he now spends time with Mincy and Charlene and is still friends with Aubrey Aubrey still becomes a hooligan but is tamer and has more of a moral compass because she wasn't left alone this time

I like the idea very much......... Ended up sketching Basil instead of doing my work hahahahshhchdjx SHHH he is no longer mentally ill (he is but not as much)

The puppet acting weird just makes so much more sense when it's Link doing it because everyone already knows that he acts weird. Everyone seemed a little suspicious of Zelda when she was the puppet but no one would be surprised at Link eating evil rocks and walking into snow and sand storms and they could probably even rationalize leaving the Zora king with a sludge monster.
