When they showed the field of flowers, I started crying so hard, because that is where she spoke to her dad for the last time (that moment was magnificent; it emotionally destroyed me).

And I'm thinking, that must be such a special place for her. And now that's where she and Hunger kissed for the first time. My heart... 🥺💗

You know what's crazy, Anon? Mc's father, in that dream she had of him, even ascribes death, hope or the illusion of hope to what warmth brings to a stagnating, waiting winter.

Looking back at it, it kinda reminds me of Hunger and Mc's little exchange, with Hunger being the Ice king coldness and Mc being warmth that melts his walls down.

The parallels are so beautiful. Both scenes were emotional. And I find myself enjoying the idea behind mc's safe mental heaven being a filed of daisies. Something so simple yet so rich in symbolism.

Daisies are often regarded as weeds in fancier gardens, but in reality they are humble, useful plants. In nature, they are a primary source of food for honeybees, while for us humans, daisies are still being used as base ingredients in today's herbal medicines.

They are beautiful in their simplicity, and hold various meanings.

One popular myth, for example, says that daisies spring when a child dies. It is said that God sprinkles them in the path of parents to ease their grief by reminding them of the child's innocence and cheerfulness.

In the matters of life, daisies signify hopefulness in new beginnings, in friendships they are regarded as the unending gratitude and unwavering loyalty you have for your friends, while in love, daisies represent the pure and tender love of soulmates.

After Devi became the Sharma heir, they still did it. Whether it was because it was a remnant of their innocent past or if their feelings were beyond a close friendship, they didn't really know they did. It was their way of acknowledging the other's struggle, like an "I know you're dealing with a lot, I'm the only one who can relate and I see you" y'know? By the time they're older, they expand their repertoire of signals to the point where it's practically a whole language. Indira grew up and was able to decipher some of it but even she, and Sara for that matter, never completely understood what they were saying. They were words only meant to be shared between Radha and Devi.

I was trying to think of what that could be because it has to be attention-grabbing but subtle, and they're always admiring each either when they think the other isn't looking. The first one that came to mind was fiddling with a necklace and head tilt? That part needs to be workshopped but the point is that every time one signals the other, their bond grows a little bit stronger

Who would be interested in a little celebration that weekend?

You can say no, but I started drafting a murder mystery puzzle for the fandom to enjoy and got carried away and it's now a 2K mystery featuring some of our fave Royals from across the Choices Universe: Trystan, Olivia Nevrakis, Tyril Starfury, Prince Hamid, Queen Amalas, King Liam, and more! I can't promise it's any good (especially since I don't write these characters normally) but hopefully it'll be fun.

More to come on that....

I think most of the events/activities/ways to celebrate would be Crimes of Passion related since that's our book club book, but any crossovers or connections are welcome too.

I have a lot of criticisms for Kali: Call of Darkness but one thing I cannot criticize is the use of foreshadowing and the almost cinematic quality this had while reading it overall.

Like for instance this moment was good foreshadowing to the upcoming, uhhh, moment in the village, especially coming from Gabriel, but I also like that this is letting us know that “hey this shit has really messed with Killian & Lima not only Amala, to the point that people are noticing.” I just thought it was a bit interesting.

My thoughts on the GMMTV 2023 line-up (from what I can remember and from some dms I shouted to @grapejuicegay last night)

I am SO EXCITED for both projects with Perth. I absolutely love him and Double Savage with Ohm looks incredible (I've been longing for Ohm in something dark) as does Dangerous Romance (how long have we been waiting for Chimon to lead?!). With DS, part of me wonders if they're not biological brothers (it's the use of 'blood brothers'...but I'm probably wrong 🤷🏽‍♀️)

Hidden Agenda looks cute...but quite similar to their last project. I'm a huge fan of Joong but not so much of Dunk. I wish they would have paired Joong with someone else (like Perth I guess! Or maybe Sing -> he's another I want to see lead) and in something meatier. But this one has Aou and Boom as a seemingly established couple 👏🏼

Although an office romance, and with Force and Book whom I think go well together, I'm lukewarm over A Boss and A Babe (especially the title). I'm not a fan of boss/employee relationships. Having said that, I do appreciate that Book's character did address the inappropriateness of that in the trailer.

The way I SCREAMED with Milk and Love in 23.5 (and honestly, I love obscure titles like this). And I doubly love that they subverted the stereotypes a little, having Milk as the shy pursuer and Love as the popular confident one. A+ I'll be vibrating till I see this. Oh and it was the only trailer I watched twice. I think that says a lot.

I think Cooking Crush will be cute. It's nice to see Off and Gun together again, hopefully they will be even more comfortable with each other, and Neo is back to his typical typecast it seems. But I'm happy to see Marc getting a few roles this year. I wonder if the 'twist' is that Off's character is already a brilliant chef...but we'll have to wait and see.

It's nice to see Ohm (shirtless) and Joong in Wednesday Club but I'm not so interested in the storyline. Sorry fellas. Also it's kind of funny that Ohm plays a middle child in two series, this and Double Savage 😄 (at least I think that's what he said in the interview after DS).

Oh it's wonderful to see Jimmy again. I hope he pulls out yet another different character. I felt he did so well with Puen being so different from his performance as Wai, so I'm looking forward to seeing him - and Sea - in Last Twilight. I hope they handle the blindness well...but it's Aof directing...so I want to trust it.

My live reaction to Only Friends: "Wait....Force, Book, First, Khaotung, Marc, AND Neo all in one show?! And they're all fu*king each other?! 😂 YES PLEASE!" Says it all really. And: "JOJO!"

I was happy to finally see Nanon in something...but I'm not sure what to make of The Jungle. I may not watch this one tbh. Actually, if it were the case that the women are getting revenge on these players by getting them all angsty and rejected then maaaaaybe I'd be on board. I want power women 💪🏼

I've already mentioned a little about the Cherry Magic reproduction - I think they should wait for a couple more years. It's too close to Japan releasing the movie. Plus I agree with the majority of others -> Tay and New aren't the right casting for this.

Midnight Museum looks intriguing...I like a bit of paranormal, and I don't know Tor Thanapob so it will be interesting to see what he's like...and I really like Ploy from The Eclipse so I'm excited to see her...but I can't get a sense of the plot from that trailer.

And as for Our Skyy 2...I think these screenshots speak for themselves really:

But in all seriousness, I think these will be cute to go back to...or at least some of them - ATOTS, Bad Buddy, Vice Versa, The Eclipse...even Star in my Mind - but it feels strange getting a special episode for some series that haven't even aired yet - My School President, Never Let Me Go, and A Boss and A Babe. The latter being included in Our Skyy makes me think the ABAAB series will come out early in 2023 and then OS2 will come out later...but who can say.

And as for those I haven't mentioned...I'm not really interested, so I'll not waste your time.

The things I'm sad we didn't get include:

Neo as a lead in something serious

AJ in a lead role finally (I think he would be GREAT with Ploy in a het if he didn't want to do ql)

Joong given something serious/heavy

Sing in something meaty, angsty, soul-destroying

Drake to be given something more prominent

More women. Just MOAR

and my very favourite wish...for the actor who played Pran's dad, A Passin, to be in a ql with someone of a similar age (or younger, I'm not fussy...not really)...I mean, the man has to get his tattoos on display somehow 🤷🏽‍♀️ I could see him as a school teacher or librarian, subverting the school setting by focusing on the adults for once...

Slept through the night, and rather than a sequel, CY 2 is something more of a sort of AU/reboot. For it to be considered a sequel in a traditional sense, it should have been set in the original storyline taking place in the modern time period. So maybe instead of CY 2, it should have been CY: Insert Title Here... Food for thought 🫤

I haven’t playing Dracula in a while but I do remember loving Leo/Aslan but being torn bc of Vlad but ur recent posts just made me solidify my decision of choosing Leo. I love men that are open and honest about their feelings

I was so horribly stuck on Leo or Vlad. Took me a full 24 hours to decide. Not only is the chemistry they have with MC really good, but they’re both interesting characters overall. Especially with how Leo’s storyline unfolds (no spoilers 🤫)

And yes, exactly! Leo’s openness is what eventually sold me because, like you, I find that highly attractive. Ever since I chose him I 100% have absolutely no regrets whatsoever.

He’s very into MC and shows it any way he can. It’s clear how much he wants, loves, and desires her. Not only sexually, but also for cuddles, simple smooches, just to hang out with, etc.

And this applies to both Leo in the modern timeline and Aslan in the past. He’s just so unabashedly into the MC. It’s great, he’s great! I could totally picture Leo being the type of teenager to doodle a heart around his crush/girlfriend’s name and actually show it to her LMAO

Anyway yeah! I’m still into OT3 VladxLaiaxLeo because the trio is just perfect. But Leo’s solo route is amazing and, although Vlad is the title character, I never not once felt like Leo’s route was pushed to the side or lacking. I hope you enjoy it too!! <3

Playing Song of the crimson Nile and then Heaven's Secret2 was wild because the first one had me laughing, crying and screaming, going "oh shit" every five minutes. Then Heaven's Secret had me thinking "mmmm I've read this before..." and realizing that the author is just doing a remake of the third season of the first HS. The fact that a plot point was solved by the MC talking to some president and the dude going "oh ok 👍" was... Sth else, considering that same plot point was introduced at the very beginning of the same episode.

At least next update we'll have some scenes with Hunger... I hope. 🙁

but yeah i was thinking the same thing too??? but mostly about how the whole plot of lucifer taking the throne of hell is rehashed from the original hs (if i'm remembering correctly) and like. i wouldn't even care about that if the update didn't just feel super rushed and lackluster overall i mean is it just me or was the arrival of the mother just so underwhelming?? i know she's too op for a boss fight against her but ???? i couldn't give two shits about anything tbh except how vicky's power is apparently killing her (that was hot)

BUT since you're a fellow hunger girlie what did you think of the line that hunger literally changed vicky's fate like 😭 that has SO much potential if it gets dived into in his romance path?? WE BETTER GET FED WELL NEXT MONTH I STG
