I think Erik knows. I think his heart aches. Because he’s lived with himself and his survivor’s guilt throughout. And he’s inflicted that on her.

I wonder if she understands. I wonder if she knows the reason why she was the right person for Genosha. I wonder if, once the pain in her heart quiets down, she will truly understand Erik’s ask and the responsibly he needed to share with her. Because she is better than him. Better than anyone who’s only known how to play on just one side of the fence.

Because she is the only one strong enough to overcome.

Everyone is so focused on Magneto and Gambit and what they did. It was astonishing. But we need to talk more about the ones that are left with the excruciating task of having to rise up from the ashes and fill the void.

william and vincent may not actually be biologically related [EDITOR: insert ‘blood relatives’ joke here], but they look similar enough that people often think they are.

this is not so much a headcanon as just my refusal to accept canon, but gavin coalesced LONG before 1990 - it was actually somewhere around the mid-1700s, although he only chose the name ‘gavin’ for himself in approximately the mid-1900s, not long after the end of WW2.

gavin and vincent are very good friends - they get on extremely well, and the double dates with freelancer and lovely are legendary, for several reasons.

the prime and imperium universe are not entirely separate from each other - sometimes, they bleed into each other without anybody really realising. it’s nothing too serious - a strange feeling of deja vu, or a weird dream, or a turn of phrase that just feels… right.

as beings of emotion, demons don’t naturally express themselves physically, making facial expressions and body language very difficult for them to both interpret and perform accurately without a lot of practice. because they aren’t designed to have physical bodies, they lack an innate sense of outwardly expressing and responding to emotional stimuli.

(well, +1) gavin might never admit it out loud, but he secretly daydreams a lot about being able to transform freelancer into a demon like him. even though he knows it’s never been done before, and may not even be possible, he doesn’t ever want to be apart from them and he wants so much more time with them than their human lifespan could allow.

I don't really have an all-time fave, so going with the current one. So this one should be pretty obvious as I'm so annoying about her right now. Thanks to the hyperfixation on sw that hit me like a truck, I am putting so much more work into her character and story now than I ever had before. (Pretty much how it was with Zoiya when I created her.) Let's see how long this lasts.

I've mentioned it before here and there in tags but Luna is my oldest oc and the first one I've ever put serious work into. The 2000s Fantastic Four movies were my first exposure to superhero movies and I thought 'hey that looks like fun!' and that's basically how she came into existence.

I probably have even older ocs but they're from fandoms I'm not part of anymore.

This one was hard to decide because I don't exactly have a purely evil oc. I also considered Carol, Shireen, and Yártien. While the others kill as well, having their very own interpretation of justice, Harper is extremely self-righteous. If people stand in her way, she will not shy away from making sure they don't, no matter what kind of person they are. I'd say she has a soft spot for nurses though.

One of the calmest and most reasonable Jedi you'll meet. She is just so full of love and joy that some would question whether she strictly follows the Jedi Code or not? She really has to put a lot of effort into not forming any attachments. Additionally, killing her opponents will always be her last resort. She even tries her best to get Inquisitors to come back to the light side.

She's a bitch, and she knows it. She put a lot of work and effort into getting where she is today. And she'll do anything to keep that position. She'll knowingly gaslight gatekeep girlboss her way through life. She's in a high enough position to make the life of others miserable. And if she doesn't like the other person, she'll enjoy it even more.

Luna was raised by and learned from the smartest man on Earth. So, I thought I'd make her smart too. Back when she was created the mcu really lacked female geniuses. She's an expert in several scientific fields such as physics, chemistry, biology, and all kinds of engineering and a lot more. She's the ultimate nerd.

Yuna dates a serial killer knowing full well what he's doing. She's also pretty dumb and oblivious. Not necessarily stupid but she only has one brain cell. Head empty at all times.

Rose is a great best friend. Very dedicated and loyal. She has a big family so she's also very social, though not overly obnoxious. A very good listener and always tries to give helpful advice. Sometimes that advice is just to go out and have stupid fun to free the mind from the problems for some time. idk I'd just want to be her friend haha

Gambit and rogue's kid absolutely brought weird shit home all the time. Like frogs and bugs and random rocks they found. A lot of trash too tho. She will usually put the living things back where she found them and get rid of plants when they wilt and they don't mind her rock collection one but, but the trash objects are a different story. They don't want to upset her but they don't want her hoarding garbage or dangerous objects that could get her sick or hurt. It took a while to figure out how to get rid of the things without upsetting her.

They end up using Gambits powers to get rid of the trash objects, but only by her choice. He shows her his powers and explains how they work he says they he can make those pretty sparkly pink explosions for her more often but he has to give her things she doesn't want any more to do that to, because once they are gone they are gone for good. The girl happily brings the trash items she's lost interest in to see them be turned into colorful glittery displays. Any time she hands him an object he honestly doesn't want her bringing home he's like "ooo dis is a nice find princess! What chu want daddy to do wit it?" And she gets to decide from there, usually choosing to have him "make sparkles" with it, to which he happily obliges.

Scott asks if they are concerned with her getting too interested in explosions as a result. Gambit just shrugs. "Gambit had deez powers since he was young and he turned out ok."

He feels pretty proud of himself for coming up with this idea. Rogue is pretty proud of him too.

I have a lil selfship question for you today! Since you and shuji both are into photography, do you guys take a lot of pictures of each other? What are some of his fav photos or you and/or vice versa?

we take HELLA pics of each other!! always using each other to test out cameras, settings, poses, backdrops, everything! when i pick up a new film camera i’ll come in beaming like “LETS SEE IF IT WORKSSSS” and then proceed to shoot an entire roll of film just of him. i’ve got a whole drawer of negatives and photographs of him that i shot to test cameras out, some are good and some are shitty but they’re alllll him. maybe some random animals here and there too :3

since my cameras aren’t digital, i can take pictures quite silently, so i take lots of candids of him. my favorites are mundane things; shots of him cooking for me in the kitchen with his shirt off or having coffee in the morning, shots of him sleeping :3 all sprawled out in the sheets with his mouth open n everything. luv.

shuji only got into analog when he met me, but he’s not a fan of the waiting period in getting the film developed. he likes to take lots of photos, quickly, and likes the guarantee that the things he set up don’t go to waste by a bad roll of film or something. he’s a digital user, and i have good hearing, so he struggles to take candids of me! so he’ll just try to get me to pose, but i’m awkward and clumsy and he giggles at me and tells me jokes to make me laugh and those are his favorite pics of me. he has nice posed ones of me that he uses in his professional portfolio but he covets the silly off guards that i hate. <3

he did a boudoir shoot of me once too, and has some of the pics printed on big metal frames that he displays in his closet 😭 he also keeps sexy lil polaroids in his wallet.
