Honestly, I'm sending out ROTTMNT friend applications because my friends don't know shit.

(I love them, I do, but I can't take another day of them not understanding the multitude of memes I send them)

So please, someone help a guy like me because I have no one to rave about my head cannons too, and have no reason to rave about them in the first place!

I'm tired, and honestly just wanna sometimes have matching pfp's with another person, and for us to not talk for a week but then we randomly send a fanfic we like and we rave about it together whether we like it or not.

I want to hear info-dumps, I want us to ask each other to randomly do this thing for a video we'll probably never see, I want to share my thoughts about the silly turtle show.

I want to hear someone talk about a story I've never even heard of, and instead of sending me a link immediately, they just weirdly explain it until they finally send a link and we laugh about how bad the explanation was.

I think I'm just lonely tbh but whatever.

Anyway, someone better wanna do this as well or I will cry.

Okay hear me out here

So you know all the AUs where instead of Casey someone else went back in time. Or along with Casey.

What if, if you wanted to send someone back in time, you'd have to exchange them for someone in the past.

Let's say the resistance decided to put the 'back in time' plan into action without the Kraang attacking. Of course, Leo would jump at the opportunity to go through the portal himself. But wait. The portal isn't letting him through. He immediately starts thinking the worst: 'did Mikey just sacrifice himself in vain?!'

Meanwhile, the portal opens in the present lair. The first to notice is Michelangelo, who curiously inspects the glowing anomaly. The four brothers gather around the portal, not sure what to think, even less to expect.

Donatello, with his scientific curiosity, gets to work right away trying to figure out what is going on. Portals are nothing new to him, sure, but this one is different.

Raphael, the ever protective brother that he is, rather wants them all to stay back from the portal. What if something dangerous suddenly shoots through it? But then again it is just a portal. They've had experiences with those before and it isn't purple like Draxums. It should be fine, right?

And it was. Until Leonardo decided to 'just take a look' and put his hand onto the beaming surface of the portal.

Suddenly Leo was gone, just to emerge again. It's just that... Now he's different. The Leo that tumbled to the ground before them is much taller. Older even. Covered in scars and.... what happened to his right arm?!

On the other side of the portal, Leo looks up to see a giant group of people gazing down at him in awe. They are in a giant bunker of sorts. The light is dim and irregular, as if many lights are broken and have yet to be fixed. He can still make out the faces of the people standing right in front of him. You could hear a pin drop and that makes Leo incredibly uncomfortable. He can feel some sort of pressure engulfing him.

"uuuuhhhh did I crash some sort of party?' he asks in an attempt to lift the tension as he gets up. "Listen, I'm sorry about that but you really need to work on your party planning. The atmosphere is dead enough that people might think the world is ending"

Mystic Melodies AU: Prologue

This all started as an Alien Stage AU (go watch that web series it's amazing) but then turned into its own thing and now I'm scared of my own brain- the brainrot for this one was INTENSE

Anyways here have this:

It’s been years since the world felt an honest melody.

When the krang descended onto earth, they took over the planet faster than anyone could’ve predicted. Soon, society across the globe was overtaken by the alien species’ influence. Streets were flooded with krang lifeforms who took a liking to the planet. The smoke and debris covered the sky. An unforgiving consequence that scared the sun away. 

It wasn’t long until the krang found out the most powerful tool to bring the earth to its knees, music. 

To the krang, music was an anomaly. A strange mix of noises that somehow made people from all walks of life come together. There were so many types of music on this planet, the krang were confused. How can one concept be stretched in so many ways? It doesn’t make sense, they thought. So they came up with a solution. It was simple, really. Forcing a human to make the “perfect” song with the threat of death wasn’t a hard task, but finding that “perfect” melody was. 

They searched through as much data as they could. Looking back through the history of this planet to find out what stuck. After many test runs based on statistics and facts, the krang cracked the code. They released the “perfect” music. A sound that would call the beings of this planet to worship the krang. It worked better than expected. Soon, the whole world would be calling the krang’s name. 

Music was power. As long as the krang could control it. 

But there was one aspect they couldn’t control, mystic arts. 

Amongst the yokai, music was more than just entertainment. It was a way to channel the mystic energy that flowed through them. With it, they were able to survive underground in safety for hundreds of years. 

Sadly, that all ended when the krang caught wind of the many hidden cities that lay awake beneath the surface. This magic was the only thing that could get in the krang’s way of taking over the planet. Unlike before, forcing their music onto yokai society proved to be difficult. The magic that flowed through generations of ancestors was too strong. So they decided to do the next best thing;

They took the children. 

With no one to pass down their teachings, mystic arts faded away into history. 

One Baron Draxum however, wasn’t having it. 

The alchemist came up with a plan to form talented creatures strong enough to take down the krang. He found four baby turtles of different species, free from the contamination caused by the krang. It was a miracle these infants had survived this long, but this meant that Draxum only had four chances. And he wasn’t about to waste any of them. So he needed to find the DNA of someone with exceptional musical ability. 

Of course, he decided to kidnap borrow famous singer Lou Jitsu (Yes.)

Well… it started as that, then turned into a begrudging “Fine I’ll help you as long as I can get my singing career back”

With the man’s DNA mixed with the ooze made from empearyem, the turtles’ mutation was a success. Draxum and Lou Jitsu named the turtles Michaelangelo, Donnatello, Raphael, and Leonardo. 

They all lived happily for three years, but in an instant it all went away. For just as quickly as they came into the lives of the yokai and the human, the krang found their laboratory. They seized the turtles and destroyed the facility. Also Lou gets turned into a rat during the chaos. Draxum prob has rats or smth and they mixed with the ooze. While the krang were causing all the destruction he just happens to turn into a rat? Man what an L 

The aftermath isn’t pretty. They find out that the krang have started a program aimed to create more music producers to fuel the engine of control over earth. Lou immediately decides to go after the turtles and bring them back safely. It… does not go well. 

He isn’t even able to see the turtles, the krang got to him so fast. With a broken back and beaten up limbs, Lou is about to make a run for it when a little girl grabs onto his tail. He looks back and is met with a look of desperation. She has poofy brown hair and dark skin with glasses over her eyes. He hears the krang approaching, so with no other choice he takes her with him and runs. 

They make a home for themselves in the sewers with Draxum. The girl introduces herself as April O’Neil, one of the children in the krang program. (April is the one that gives Lou the name Spliner ^^) Together, they look after April and teach her how to harness her own mystic power. 

Years pass and the turtles are now teenagers. The krang’s influence is as flourishing as ever, and Leonardo is about to attempt his final exam. A live graded performance broadcasted in the capital, before becoming a full fledged artist of the krang empire. With a guitar in hand, he decided to give it everything he’s got. His one shot at greatness, he wasn’t gonna let it slip away.

Nobody could’ve predicted what would happen next. Not even Leo. I mean, how could he have known that the one song he wrote that came from his heart would activate his hidden mystic powers?? He sure didn’t.

With that one song, that one show, the world was about to change for the first time in decades.

ROTTMNT Self Insert BS

So, ROTTMNT may have taken over my brain. The new concepts/characters/world of this epic new(er) tmnt series got my inspiration juices flowing, and I created my very own mutant turtle abomination self-insert/sona character.

CHARACTER LORE UNDER CUT

So, Rowan wasn’t always a turtle like the original four tmnt brothers (Leo,Raph, Mikey and Donnie), Rowan was originally human, and was like that for most of their life. Unfortunately for them, while walking home from high school one day, they happened to be in a bad place at a bad time.

Baron Draxum had been developing a formula of ooze containing the DNA of all four turtle brothers. His goal was to create a hybrid turtle mutant which would be a bigger, stronger combination of the four, selectively taking the best attributes of each brother’s mutation, and combining them into one mega mutant turtle soldier. With this new mutant on his side, he could finally get rid of his previous turtle mutants, and use this new super-mutant to aide him in any of his evil plans.

Draxum had not yet tested this formula however, and was unsure if it would be successful or not. In addition, the ooze lacked an important component: human DNA. Draxum would need to mutate a human to create his super-turtle-mutant, and would also need a human as his first test subject.

Enter Rowan (again). Draxum had just left the hidden city in search of a viable test subject when Rowan walks by, a little over a hundred feet away. They are completely oblivious to their surroundings as they pump loud music into their ears, and they look like the perfect test subject for Draxum’s new ooze.

Draxum easily sneaks up behind Rowan (still obliviously listening to music), throws a bag over their head, and knocks them unconscious.

Rowan wakes up tied to a table by vines. Scared, they try to reason with Draxum, but to no avail. He releases an ‘oozesquito’ containing the new serum, and it lands on Rowan’s nose.

It bites, transforming them.

Terrified, Rowan looks at their new appearance with fright, but Draxum is disappointed. A perfect hybrid of the four turtles, yes. However, Rowan remains small and scrawny. A partial success for Draxum, but the serum requires work.

Too small and weak to do Draxum any good, his test subject is disposed of. Rowan is promptly teleported back to the surface in one of Manhattan’s back alleys, and left.

Long story short: Rowan is transformed into a hybrid turtle mutant using all four of the tmnt’s DNA. After deemed useless by Draxum, they are dumped in an NYC back alley. The End.

I hope to make additional content bout this story soon. How will they survive as a mutant amongst humans? Will they eventually meet the turtle brothers whom they now share DNA with?

Okay. I suck at these kinda things so bear w/ me, lmao. 

Long Story Short:

Turts of a Feather is my canon divergence AU that is mainly based on ROTTMNT w/ bits & pieces of other iterations & OC shit tossed in. 

I suppose the easiest way to describe it is, take the Hamatos, throw them in a mixer w/ more found fam, heaps of trauma, loads of familial love, & hit max speed. Yay~

Long story summarized-ish:

The biggest divergence goes back to when Drax first made the Ooze & the fact his initial concoction was Empyrean free. Instead it utilized the Mystic ability of a nigh extinct class of Yōkai, a relation to the Phoenix. A rather small percentage of the female population can produce a powerful transmutation substance they call the Krókos or Yolk. Said substance can be used by the Krókos-Foréas (Yolk-Bearer) to transform any animal into a Krókos-Polemist (Yolk-Warrior). The catch being that the Yolk can only be used once in their lives.

 A young Draxum happens upon not one but three of the rare Yōkai. The quad band together to escape their current circumstances, growing close & forming a new clan. 

When Drax learns about the Mystic ability of his partners he hatches a plan of science & alchemy to make a combined Yolk that could be used for more than the three times normally allotted by their Yōkai ability. The trio agree, wanting nothing more than to be a part of a large clan all their own.

But when ambition, pride, & fear cloud the intentions of Draxum a disagreement blooms between himself & the rest of the Niwatori. The wives wanted a family, he wanted an army. Something that the three refuse to be a part of. 

Nettie, the science-then-alchemy to his alchemy-then-science is the one to find out about his true intention. Refusing to listen to his excuses as she sets about to destroy their hard work, swearing that no baby of hers would be raised as a child soldier. A massive fight erupts, resulting in Draxum accidentally blinding her in one eye, she retaliating by severing one of his fingers. 

In the end the other 2 find them, stopping Nettie from killing their former lover & leaving him amongst the broken remains of the life they had built. The Niwatori believing the Ooze to have been destroyed.

But little did either party know that each had managed to salvage a small sample. Each going on to use it in far different ways. Drax would go on to use Empyrean based on his portion, increasing his batch & making careful plans on how best to use the precious material. The Niwatori wives stealing an egg & using the small vial to have a child of their own.

One year after changing the formula to a concoction of his own DNA & Empyrian Drax finally finds the last piece to his puzzle in the form of Lou Jitsu. Battle Nexus Champion. But Drax's lofty plans go awry. Culminating in Lou Jitsu fleeing the imploding lab with the four young turtles who bore his genetics, that of the warring warrior scientist, & those of 3 very jaded, unaware Zoí-Pouliá.

From there Lou goes through several hardships & trials, suffering from not only his mutation but the void of losing his former life yet again. Thankfully along the way he collects a band of kindred spirits, a pair of fellow Nexus veterans & an Undead who knew all about having to toss aside former lives to be free. With his trio of newly claimed siblings the Hamato clan grew, the lot of them striving to give the children the peaceful & safe life that they had wished for in their youth.

But life has a way of always shafting the Hamatos. Hardships & chaos kept needling its way to the family, building their strength but also adding to their traumas. The clan keeps moving forward, always fighting alongside their own.

It didn't matter what happened to the outside world, family above all. All that Splinter ever wanted was for his children, his entire claimed family, to get back safe & sound. But life was set on making that a lofty goal. One that may not be achievable.
