sorry to break this to you anon, but I don't watch stranger things and have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I've known Roxy for longer than stranger things has been around because we met through a previous fandom. and also because, you know, whatever it is that's going on within the stranger things fandom that seems really important to you right now is - and I hate to word it this way because it'll seem rude and dismissve - surprisingly small in the grand scheme of things.

it's okay to get out now. block the people you dislike. form your own community. make your own fic/art/whatever. I know it feels difficult because it feels like you'd be letting them win, but i've been in many a fandom with horribly intense infighting where everyone is so sure that they're right. and really, the only thing you can actually, ultimately do is block and move on. create the fandom experience you want to have so that you can have fun and get rid of the awful, angry, anxious feeling following you everywhere.

Birthday was so excellent! I ate wonderful ramen, randomly had my Hellfire Club crossbody bag that I bought from @roxymorondraws show up a day early, got some fun ST merch from my beta, and a bunch of quilting stuff from my parents, plus a dorky tech gift I won't bore anyone with the details of.

We came back here after dinner and watched Cocaine Bear which is absolutely bonkers and delightful, and now I'm drinking iced coffee and writing the last of my kinktober fics which are down to the prompts I'm having a tough time with, so, like... fight through, asshole.

Next chapter of Soul has had its rewrites, now to SPAG and then to beta.

However I'm spending the rest of the day playing video games. Fuck it.
