Just Red Enzo - Photography by @rscottcampbell It's not often that any photographer gets a chance to photograph an Enzo Ferrari of any year. I was doing family portraits and my client asked if I could shoot his car too. I thought, Eh... he must be putting something on eBay. Well I couldn't have been more wrong! As he drove this beauty off the turntable in his garage, and I had nothing with me but a few flashes, which you'd never use on a car like this and my instincts. Well, I decided to shoot it in hand held, 7 frame High Dynamic Range exposures and prayed that one day software makers would catch up and enable hand held, raw shots to be used for HDR source. Finally, 10 years later, Photoshop can do it. So here you go. Full Moon Sets On Mission Impossible 3 - Photography by @rscottcampbell These are the wind turbines for alternative energy just outside of Palm Springs California. I've always thought they were dramatic and beautiful. Some people think they are a blight on the land. My attempt is to bring some beauty to alternative energy. Home Pink Home - Taken by @rscottcampbell This trailer has been used for countless shoots. In another photograph I took and at a modeling shoot it was teal and white. When I first found it there was still a telephone and Formica dining table inside. With this series of shots my son and I were just leaving from a photo shoot and we saw the trailer was PINK! I had to shoot it. I had him pull the jeep up and shine the headlights on it. I then color balanced for Tungsten which is why you see a slightly yellowing pink and incredibly blue sky. Pancakes Hot Springs - Photography by @rscottcampbell Here's another one from the day at the hot springs. The Salton Sea sits on top of the San Andreas Fault and many other fault lines. Thus there natural hot springs and geo thermal resources surrounding the entire inland sea. This particular image was shot through the water and it a close up, less than a meter, of the mineralization/oxidation that occurs from the hot springs run off. There is NO digital manipulation in this image AT ALL, just a simple raw conversion. Stumped to Stop - Taken by @rscottcampbell I found this stump while on a hike in the Salton Sea area. This is somewhat of a redux of an image I already posted. This treatment gives it more of the feel I had when shooting it.  Surrounding me was the end of a 2 mile dirt track in a cul-de-sac with burnt bonfire remains. This stump was near the center. Rough. Smoke Break - taken by @rscottcampbell Sometimes I wonder if the locals, a community just behind the broken down furniture I find at shore's edge put the abandoned furniture there to sit and simply have a smoke or put their toes in the foamy surf. That's what when though my mind when taking this shot. In this shot I came upon the chairs just as they are and could just imagine two people sitting having a smoke and talking at sunrise or sunset. I also again used my jeep headlights to light the scene.
