“St–stop, stop!” you yell, their laughs coming to a halt as you all try to catch your breaths. Matt and Chris finally lay off trying to tickle you. All three of you exchange glances, your lips fluttering as another fit of giggles erupt from your mouth. 

God, it hurts. The pit of your gut is burning from the tickling and the laughing. You catch Matt staring at you with a humors glint in his eyes, his cold hand over your stomach feeling like a whisper of relief as you all pant heavily. 

“I, uh,” Matt scratches the back of his neck, attempting to hold back a snort as he looks down at you, “-I love you, you’re beautiful, but the way you’re lying…you look like a shrimp.”

(and heinrix is risking himself to help you - he's a psyker, he knows the danger of this ritual, and, unlike you, he knows what you're facing - or at least he suspects - and he does it anyway.

In the past week or two an attempt to recommend Rogue Trader to friends now that I am truly in a dire place with it resulted in convincing them all to never, ever touch it... I need Owlcat to release a game I don't feel obligated to include a list of disclaimers with when trying to recommend </3 It's always like "Kingmaker is one of my FAVORITE GAMES and the writing is GOOD AND FUN it has some of my ALL TIME FAVORITE CHARACTERS AND PLOTS and the gameplay is SO BAD MOST OF THE TIME and it has SO MUCH JANK but it's worth it if you have DOZENS OF HOURS OF PATIENCE" or "Wrath has combat and characters MANY PEOPLE LIKE and is VERY CINEMATIC and SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVES QOL but the gameplay MIGHT PISS YOU OFF and you SHOULD DO PRE READING ON SYSTEMS AND ROUTES and the alignment dialogue is NOT GOOD somehow worse than Kingmaker's" or "Rogue Trader is a GREAT GAME with INTERESTING CHARACTERS and REALLY FUN GAMEPLAY except that the gameplay of the first fifteen hours is INTOLERABLY BAD AND BORING and the exposition for newcomers to setting lore is TERRIBLE also the scope of human atrocity is OFF THE CHARTS if that's hard for you and there IS A TORTURE PIT"

a thing i really like about commorragh is how effective the game is at driving into you how social submissivness is easier. ie. you can actively argue with terviantes about getting your companions back or you can suck up and down to him and he just folds like a lawn chair. i also like it as an entry point for a sub!rt marazhai romance, bc well they may have gotten the pavlovian response while still in there and marazhai pounces on it, sexually
