Tsukasa bristled, bunching his shoulders up. "If you're making fun of me-"

"No nothing like that at all, I promise. I was just thinking about how different ours were."

There's eight centimetres height difference between Tsukasa and himself. Rui takes notice.

Wonderlands x Showtime was sitting on the stage in their practice clothes, doing a readout of their latest script. Rui was supposed to be paying attention, but he was admittedly a little distracted.

He couldn't help noticing that even though they were sitting on the floor, Tsukasa was still a good deal shorter than him.

His round face and large eyes made him look younger than all the other boys in their year, even though he was one of the oldest.

His script, he noticed, was folded over and held in one hand like he was a middle aged professor with a paperback. It was endlessly endearing. His eyes traced his hand, and a thought struck him.

"Wow Tsukasa-kun, you have such dainty hands."

Tsukasa bristled, bunching his shoulders up. "If you're making fun of me-"

"No nothing like that at all, I promise." Rui held out his own hand, like he was waiting for a high five. Something in Tsukasa's chest warmed seeing the bracelet Emu had made for him on his wrist. "I was just thinking about how different ours were."

On instinct, Tsukasa held his hand up to Rui's. He let out a surprised squeak.

"Wow..." he pressed the bottom of his palm against Rui's, lining his fingers up against his. Rui was right, his hands were rough and calloused from long nights holding wrenches and screwdrivers. His wrist and knuckles were a bit knobbly, but the biggest difference was-

"Your hands are so big!" He probably shouldn't be surprised, with how Rui was easily the tallest person he knew, but he couldn't help but stare. His palm was slightly wider, but both it and his fingers were so much longer than his own. So long he could probably curl his fingers over Tsukasa's.

Rui must've read his mind, because he gave a small giggle before doing exactly that.

Tsukasa sucked in a breath.

"You can really tell yours are pianist's hands Tsukasa-kun. They're so soft." Tsukasa stopped breathing. "They're so small and dainty, it's cute."

Tsukasa pulled his hand away as if he was burned. "We should get back to the script reading."

"Ha, of course." he smiled at him.

As Tsukasa leant over the script in his lap to find his spot, Rui spotted Nene looking straight at him over Tsukasa's shoulders. She raised an eyebrow at him. He chuckled quietly, he really couldn't help himself.

Every time someone in this godforsaken fandom says "I think we've talked about misogyny enough" I want to hit them with a hammer. No we haven't.

We haven't even talked about the deep "Ruikasa&Akitoya Vs. literally everyone else" imbalance enough but imagine all of the people that get pressured into writing specifically for male/male ships simply because otherwise they won't get any appreciation.

Yes it's a cowardly thing but when you see Ruikasa having over 4000 fics and Ichisaki having like 5 in total obviously you're going to be discouraged. Obviously you'll be biased into creating Ruikasa instead of other ships.

And as someone who depends on appreciation in particular to do any work at all obviously that's going to have a lasting consequence. Some people spend 4 hours crying in front of a screen just for 3 people to like their work and leave, it's understandable if they lose passion for creating at all, you guys killed them.

It's even in how we handle m/m ships. You go into a fic that's tagged Rui&Tsukasa(platonic), someone in the comments always goes "okay but when do they kiss". You go to an action-packed longfic, someone always ends up going "okay but when do they kiss".

Fuck you guys. Actually. This is a silly piano tiles game about Hatsune Miku, we should be one of the MOST CREATIVE fandoms in history and somehow people still get mad over two boys not kissing immediately after getting introduced. It's so fucking difficult being a content creator in this fandom because you always end up having to take the same route. They meet they tease they kiss. End of story. "Oh you're doing something "lame" instead? -1 kudo. Bring me my yaoi next🖕"

guys don't you find it funny that proseka's cast is like 80% girls and STILL the most popular pairings are fucking ruikasa and akitoya. LIKE HELLO?? am i the only one who is unsettled by this

The best film wrap is the event that pushed Nene up into my top-10 (I loved her even before this don't get me wrong it's just... I'm a vbs fan). It's very cute and cool I do recommend it greatly, I really enjoyed the way it dealt with Nene's anxiety.

I keep calling it Nene's pandemonium and nobody listens to me but I'm right. This is exactly what it is

It's also absolutely hilarious as far Nenean humor goes. Your honor they're polar opposites and An keeps accidentally giving Nene heart attacks. It's fine it's good for her character development

HELP MEEE god I love nene. she’s so real and so pathetic. Truly a peak character. + an is such a funny character to pair her with because she’s extroverted and charismatic and popular but also very genuinely kind. & nene is shaking like a chihuahua being forced to talk to people she views as so much cooler than her (which an does not get. Why are you anxious we’re all friends here :D & nene’s reaching new heights of anxiety)… Going from being in a class with toya to being in a class with an is like going from socialization (baby mode) to socialization (extreme turbo hard mode) for her.

ruikasa week day 2: stargazing / AU

I’m extremely late on this one but whatever ajdhdgsjshshs anyway for the AU aspect of this, I knew I had to draw dantoru for this one because I love them and frankly, I do not see enough content of them nowadays

Sorcevalier AU Mizuki and Rui discussing rebel stuff and Tsukasa walks into the room in Rui's pajamas.

Mizuki: Did you fuck my captain, Rui? Rui. Rui! Did you fuck my captain! RUI!!!

I feel like shizuruikasa would find the most awkward positions to sleep in ever. like shizuku and tsukasa have to tag team to wrestle rui to bed in the first place so he's always sandwiched between them he doesn't get a choice. half the time they're staying up way too late together so shizuku will fall asleep sitting up on the couch using Rui's head which is in her lap to prop up a book tsukasa is on top of rui face down on his chest and they will seriously just sleep like that.

on the nights that they do decide to be normal about it they always wake up in the most insane positions. Tsukasa snores and rotates like a rotisserie chicken in his sleep so rui wakes up with no pillow because he had it overtop of his head to block out the noise, or he wakes up nearly strangled by the earbuds he put in prior. if they were wireless those things are just fucking gone. Tsukasa wakes up horizontal at the foot of the bed. Shizuku has Tsukasa's head on her feet and is wearing Rui's earbuds as a bracelet. the hairtie she used to braid her hair is also gone and she is diagonal on the bed. They ALL talk in their sleep so there is just a chorus of unintelligible speech from wherever they're sleeping occasionally interrupted with groggy remarks "will you move over PLEASE" "tsukasa I'm going to smother you one of these days" "why is your hair is my mouth" it's HORRIFYING to anyone else in the house saki and shiho have flipped their shit over it so they mostly stay over at Rui's but it still catches his parents off guard.

and when theyre NOT sleeping normally it's even worse. Tsukasa is on the floor clear on the other side of the room. Now Rui is sitting up and Shizuku's laying down. It's chaos.

furthermore Shizuku and Tsukasa are 100% morning people and rui is ANYTHING but. you have these two just bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to start the day while Rui fails to navigate around his long ass limbs and accidentally pours his 3rd coffee down his shirt. They're both trying to help him wake up but he is inconsolable</3

Torpe sways as the leader of the orchestra leads him in their dance together, and when the pianist felt his body tip back he found himself going limp. The tiredness that had seeped into his body making his limbs dangle like that of a rag doll. Why had he been so tired today? It wasn't like he'd gotten drugged or anything, and he surely wasn't hungover as yesterday he spent the entire day practicing with Dancho for their performance today.

He was lucky that this tiredness didn't affect his playing, if it had then that would have caused disaster for the entire orchestra. If he caused them to be humiliated on the Fénix family's stage of all places then he'd never forgive himself. he'd have to change his name and flee the city and never touch a piano again.

His attention snaps back to Dancho, who'd stopped humming the tune that they'd been swaying along to. There's a soft glimmer in the taller man's golden eyes as he smiles down at the pianist. Such a sight would usually make Torpe a bit flustered, but what the Orchestra Leader said next caught him off guard.

" Happy Birthday, Tsukasa-kun." He'd said, there was a longing in Dancho's eyes as he said those words. But the more Torpe stared at those golden windows to the soul the more he noticed the hints of grief in Dancho's expression, it had even been in his tone.

The pianist could only ponder, who was the 'Tsukasa' that Dancho spoke of? The name felt familiar, and was it just a coincidence that this character's birthday seemed to line up with Torpe's own? He'd forgotten it was even his birthday today, but it wasn't like he'd told anyone.

" ...Dancho, who is... Tsukasa?" The meek pianist asked, curiosity leaking into his tone like water gushing into a small hole on a boat. The orchestra leader's expression faltered, becoming sad for a moment before the purple haired man wiped it away with a saddened smile.

" Ah, my apologies Torpe-kun. Just an old friend of mine." Dancho hummed, setting Torpe's tired body on the stable ground once more as they continued their slow dance together. " You look a lot like him, so I was confused for a moment."

The longer Torpe stared into Dancho's eyes, the more he knew that the taller was hiding something from him. But What? Who was Tsukasa? And what had happened to him?
