Rye: Appreciate you letting me know about the stuff you can do here! Spinda’s Cafe sounds sort of similar to my mom’s bakery back home. Maybe I should tell her about it so she could check it out?

Rye: Regardless, you said your name is Flame, right? I figure you wouldn’t mind another question, so… what’s with the rope wrapped around your tail? Is it a fire-type thing? Or just a you thing? I honestly don’t have any clue either way. Don’t really see any fire types around where I’m from. Well, except for my mom.

Rye and Dravena @ Lief:

Rye felt Dravena tense up beside her. Oh. Rye should have figured this would happen. She scanned the room, searching for the culprit. Wait! There, those feelers…

Rye excused herself from Dravena, and jogged up to the odd stranger, setting down the platter she was carrying so that she could have a word with him.

“Hey, I noticed you look a bit like a Sylveon. You’ve got similar looking ribbons. You’re a fairy-type right?”

Rye didn’t wait for an answer, instead diving straight into what she had already planned to say. “My friend, she’s a Deino. A dark and dragon-type. She can’t really be around fairies. They mess her aura up real bad. So I’d really appreciate it if you could avoid approaching her so we don’t have to leave. We’ll stay out of your fur too.”

Hoping to further convince the stranger to stay away from her friend, Rye shoved a muffin from the platter into the assumed fairy-type’s hands. “Uh, here! For the inconvenience I guess.”

“Wait!”

Dravena stopped a good few feet away from Rye and the stranger. She had to nearly yell so that she could be heard from where she was at. Even with the distance she kept between her and the stranger, she still seemed pretty uncomfortable. Her voice was unsteady. “I- Have we met before? Your aura feels so familiar…”

Rye whipped her head back to stare at Dravena, dumbfounded. Why the hell did she walk over here? “Drav, that familiar feeling is probably your aura getting torn to shreds by a fairy.”

So much for staying out of this stranger’s fur…

Lief didn't know what to make of this at first; he stayed silent for some moments, holding that muffin in his paws.

Lief: "Right. I have several questions about this, but let us start from the beginning. Get the feeling I'll need to since you both look like you're just kids."

Already, he could feel himself grow exasperated at the mention of them being children. But for the sake of minding his manners for a little longer, he held his tongue.

Mostly.

Lief: "First off, I'm only half Sylveon. I'm also half Ribombee, though mama was part Vespiquen, so make of that what you will. And yes, that does mean I'm a Fairy-type, but I'm Fairy/ Bug. Get it right next time."

He casually took a bite into the muffin that was handed to him, before continuing to rattle off. He'd pause only to swallow.

He smiled a little at the taste.

Lief: "Mmm, not bad...~ Anyway, second of all. I take it by ribbons, you mean my scarf. It's a scarf, not a part of my body."

Lief: "But more importantly, isn't it weird to come up to somebody out of nowhere and ask them to stay away from you when the person in question would have definitely stayed away if you minded your business in the first place? Even I know that, come on. Also..."

Before he could begin to respond to the last part about aura to Dravena, he slowed upon focusing on her. Once again, he ended up staring.

Lief: "... huh. This will sound super weird, but I think you were in my dream. It's a pretty gruesome dream so I won't talk about it, but uh. Did you say you recognize me?"

A good bit late for this one, but I did want to get a quick holiday related drawing out as I thought it would be fun to do one! The piece includes my ocs Dravena the Deino and is also the drawing debut of Rye the Eevee, the main character of a oneshot I’m currently working on (and will hopefully eventually finish and post). I’m also hoping to get more art of both of them out in the future.

We gathered our accumulated donations for the Hurricane Helper fundraiser & sent a check of $910 to Greater Good Charities! That’s about double the amount we were hoping to gather! OAO✨ I’ve never done a fundraiser like this before, so it was quite something. It was definitely a marathon, but I’m very happy I got to be a part of it. 🥲

Rye @ Ninasha

Where the heck does the food go in this stupid tower?

Rye was still searching for where she could put her mom’s pastries down so she could meet back up with Dravena. By Virizion’s Blade, this tower is so confus- Wait, what the heck?

That pokemon looked like a Nidorina, but… They don’t usually stand up on their hind legs like that… right?

Her puzzlement getting the better of her, Rye walked up to the odd pokemon, and set her plate down yet again so she could introduce herself. She really had to figure out where to put that thing.

“Hi, my name’s Rye! I wasn’t really expecting anyone else to show up. I honestly thought the sleepover was already in full swing.”

She glanced at the bag the strange Nidorina brought. Wonder what’s in there? Would probably be just about as rude to ask that as it would be to ask what the bizzare ‘mon’s deal was though.

“Uh, it definitely looks like you came prepared though! You even brought your own bag and food. Maybe you could help me find where to put these.” Rye gestured at the platter. “Cannot find where they go for the life of me.”

Ninasha was approached by Rye and waved hello to the Eevee. "Hey hey! I'm Ninasha! I just showed up a few minutes ago with my sister, Naomi!" she replied. She noticed the tray of bread that she had trouble carrying. "Oh, need a hand? Lemme get that for you!" she said as she picked up the bread tray.

"I think I know a spot where I can put this!" she thought. She lead the Eevee through a hallway and found some tables; one of them containing what looks to be a punch bowl. "Ah, there we go!" she said as she placed it on one of the lower tables. "This looks like a nice spot to put it! By the way, do you mind if I take a muffin for me and my sister? I'll trade ya for a bag of chips!"

Warning for your beloved pokemon's safety! I have seen so many videos recently of what people have been feeding their sweet little pokemon and I think I need to let you guys know about specific pokemon's dietary restrictions! I will not be able to cover every type of pokemon, for I only know the diets of my very own pokemon, I do know a bit extra about some others, but that's from learning from those who have those pokemon. There is feed at every store that you can buy for specific types if that's what you want. Remember! I am not in any way an expert. I'm just a bit experienced. Ghost types! Now while they can eat almost anything (I'm looking at you Gengar!) There is some things that they do not like. Every pokemon has different tastes, so it's best you try around and figure out what works for your pokemon's taste. Remember! Some pokemon, like Yamask and Phantump, were humans one time just like you are. Try to keep that in mind next time you serve them regular feed in a bowl. Bug types! While you can just feed them bug feed just like everyone else, it is suggested you take for account their secondary type (if they have one), while pure bug types have normal feed, something like a Joltik or a Charjabug would need something with electricity in it. I suggest a battery for those. Something like a Snom on the other hand, needs ice. Whether it's flavored or not, that's up to you. Ground/Rock types! While they mostly have a relatively average diet, some get their nutrition from things like rock or gravel. While pokemon like Drilbur can eat things like a nice ham and cheese on rye, pokemon like Nacli need minerals to grow big and strong. While I don't know much on the diet of other types, I can give a bit of insight on the pokemon I have that are not Ghost, Bug, Ground, or Rock. Alcremie/Milkery need whipped cream or milk respectively. An Eevee's diet can change drastically after evolution, and it's important to keep that in mind if you plan to evolve it or if it wants to evolve on it's own. That's all that I know (currently) on these types, I do plan on researching more into it, and once Im done with my mound of schoolwork I will be getting around to it, but until then, don't do stupid shit. Hasta la vistar!

Favorite pokemon/evolution line, my favorite is the rowlet line, I love the little archer owl

Rye: Ooooh, my favorites are Raichu and the Lucario line! Riolu is probably my favorite baby pokemon! Lucario is tied with Raichu tbh. I also love Celebi and suicune, and the totodile line holds a special place in my heart.

Kokichi: As stereotypical as it might be, I gotta love... Scorbunny! Haha, fooled you, didn't I? I also like Fennekin and Snivy. Okay okay, I love Zoroua too. Shush. Oh and I can't find the name of the new grass starter but I love the dramatic theater kid/phantom thief aesthetics.

-Koko: My favorite is eevee!!! And squirtle!!!! I like charizard too, hes the coolest! But I love blastiose!!!

Wrenn: I haven't really thought about pokemon much. Digging around in our memories, I guess the one I can relate to the most is MewTwo, and maybe the Ralts line? And my favorite starter... Cyndaquil and Litten. But only as their baby evolutions. We haven't played the new game, but... I am stupidly attached to tandemaus.

Chara: .... I also like the Pikachu line. But I'm very attached to Entei from the third movie, I suppose. I enjoy the Unknown.

Venti: Ooooh, I'm not sure which I'd prefer! I suppose I'm more the type to be attached to individual pokemon I come across my journey over a design or move type. I am drawn to fairy-like pokemon (not necessarily the type!) Like Celebi and Jirachi, especially if they are cute and small but powerful. Ehe~

Evan: I also like the Rowlet line! They're so cool! And I love bird pokemon, like Pigeot. Oh oh, and I have a soft spot for mudsdale...

Treasure Town has everything you could possibly need! From a general store in the twin Kecleon’s shop (one sells general items, the other sells TMs and such!) to a training dojo, to a bank, to a storage facility, Electivire’s link shop, and so much more! If you want to chill with friends or even make new ones, I suggest you go to Spinda’s Cafe, but make sure to take some Berries with you, as Spinda can make drinks out of any Berry you give him!

It’s really busy, and there’s much to do.

Another revenge, this time for star_duck! They drew their ocs Rue and Destiny with Rye and Dravena, so I decided to do the same, placing them in the bakery! Was kinda lazy with keeping Rye and Dravena on model though. I was originally just going to make them both silhouettes and once I decided that didn’t look good, I didn’t want to have to redraw Rye’s ears lol.
