Love to see that years after she helped make Sagas of Sundry, Marisha is still finding ways to build on a tableless TTRPG stage and full costumes setup. It was really formative to her set design. And already it's semi-lost media (save piracy).

I come bearing HQ photos from the CR panel at SDCC! They are watermarked because yes I got them from Getty Images but they're too pretty not to share.

Since Geek & Sundry's website now directs to Nerdist's site I thought it would be smart to go on a deep dive in the Wayback Machine to grab some stuff from G&S so it doesn't disappear. I couldn't have done this without my Bestie and Shame Pit Roomie, she knows who she is.
@mysticalspiders has already done a great post for the Vox Machina playlists, especially as the relate to The Legend of Vox Machina so check out that post here!!
This Google Doc contains the liner notes and playlist links for all of the Sagas of Sundry: Madness character playlists and for GM Ivan van Norman's playlist which is for both Sagas of Sundry: Madness and Dread.
This Google Doc contains the Ask Vax Machina column which was featured on G&S's website during c1
This Google Doc contains the original story that Laura Bailey wrote about how Vex'ahlia originally came to have Trinket the Bear.
I also have plans to finish transcribing the cast interviews that were also featured during c1 on the G&S website.
If anyone can think of anything else from the old days that needs to be archived from G&S please let me know!!

I think the thing that I love the most, of all of Brennan Lee Mulligan's works, is that it's always so clear that not only has he thought of what story he is trying to tell, but he's thought of why he wants to tell it.
and this is a masterclass when it comes to just his writing, like, i've been having the fundamental way i view stories changed by Brennan years before he started streaming d&d. but the thing that makes it, that makes him what i genuinely think is maybe the best actual play dm, is that he's so good at getting other people to fall into the story with him, to not just want to tell the what, but to the why.
it's hard not to give a piece of yourself to something like calamity, watching it, and as much as i love the characters and the plot, it's not that, it's this earnestness, this all consuming - you want the story told for the telling of it.

dread: group of lifelong friends
madness: group of strangers
dread: stranded in The Outdoors
madness: trapped in a building
dread: all but 1 make it out
madness: only 1 makes it out
dread: blue color palette, pretty set that is easy to gif
madness: yellow-orange hellscape
dread: everyone is gay. all of them
madness: me???? stanning het ships???????? two of them at once????????
