Do Jake, Andy, Andrew and Charlie exist in your SEA au?

Well there's only one of Andrew, and SEA takes place in the near future so these people are already adults. They've never met Eclipse and never will.

So they exist the same way as the Creator does in the AU, he has nothing to do with the fam and he'll never appear, maybe only as a little easter egg, and even that'd be more likely to happen with Puppet, the Creator and people who're more distinct like that.

Although to be fair Jake might be dead because of his cancer, unless he managed to fight it off. I'm letting people decide which they prefer more

Something that absolutely needs to happen: Ruin meeting that other Eclipse

People have been calling him "Eklipse." I'm not really feeling it tbh, but it's,,, something to differentiate him and Eclipse and I don't have any better ideas rn, so it's whatever

Anywho. I need Ruin to meet him. They're both kinda in the same boat, in a way; both are made up of a merged Sun and Moon. Ruin also had his fruitloop phase, plus he's smart and might have a better idea of their mindset, so he could be incredibly helpful

......maybe if Eklipse gets out of control and tries to do something bad, Stitchwraith can do something about it. He's got that whole agony touch thing that kills humans, and they haven't explored what it'd do to animatronics. If he gets any negative star power residue on him, they can take him to the OG dimension and get an astral body to sort of. Cleanse him, in a sense. Do whatever it is that they do, to sort of purify him

That, or OG Monty could throw together another one of those boxes that absorbs negative star power. As long as it's close to Stitchwraith and can work properly, it should be fine

The thought of Espio being either more incompetent with technology than the rest of his friends or just being wholly tech illiterate gets a lot funnier for me when I remember that he's sixteen. I personally never knew any sixteen year old besides myself who wasn't very involved with technology at that age (I've gotten better as an adult though I guess). Plus one of Espio's friends/allies is basically a literal boomer who hacks computers by smacking them. And yet Espio is still the cringe one

To be fair, I don't think Espio is that incompetent with technology? Vector wouldn't have asked him to go hack Eggman's and the ARK's computer if he didn't at least believe Espio could pull it off, I figure. Plus, the Chaotix managed to fire the Eclipse Canon, even if it's not shown who was responsible for that specifically. It's just that we never see Espio with anything else technology-wise as far as I know, and the telephone the Chaotix have in their possession in X and IDW is one of those very old-fashioned horn-with-cord ones, haha. So there's just nothing modern for Espio to practice with, maybe?

That being said, with Espio's focus on Being A Ninja, I figure he might show more appreciation for the traditional way of doing things than replacing it all with technology. In one Sonic Channel artwork, he's shown taking notes with a notebook and brush, where I'd say a laptop is just far more efficient. (Assuming they've got the money to buy one, of course. If they do ever get a computer, I figure it'll be one of those twenty-year-old square blocks of screen with a dinky keyboard and mouse that's barely hanging on to its last threads of life. That fits best with the Chaotix Vibes in my mind.) So Espio staunchly refusing to modernise and sticking to what works best for him is something I can envision, haha. I would say that he'll be able to figure out how a smartphone works if you gave him one and just let him figure it out by himself, it's just that he doesn't want to use it until it's a clear necessity.

Argo.

He stares into the mirror of his bathroom. That's who's looking back at him. That's Argo. A faded scar on the left side of his face, sharp canines that look like fangs. Argo has deep brown eyes, deep rooted trust issues- and truly thinks he would be better off if everyone left him alone. Argo brings tragedy everywhere he goes. Argo has never talked to Hermes- and he assumes he never will. He's never been claimed, either. All he has is his shape-shifting and his jansport.

Argo has deep brown, short hair. And.. wings. Big wings.

Luna.

Luna is younger than Argo by a few years. She has an innocent smile, the same scar- just.. newer. She hasn't learned not to trust yet. She has plenty of friends! She has all the bracelets to prove it! But, she knows they all just see her as a kid.

Her eyes are a bright blue, her hair is long and blonde. Her fangs are duller, more like a dog than a cat.

She has wings as well, they're just smaller- more proportionate to her body than Argo.

Atticus.

That's a name nobody's heard in a while.

Golden eyes, fangs like a wolf and dirty blonde hair. His scar was healed; unlike Luna's.. but it was cut open- bleeding with.. what seems like golden ichor. Right, this isn't Argo- this isn't really a.. mortal. This is a combination between a demigod and godly beings. A puppet.

And he has no wings, but he does have strings.

The three are having a conversation- which should be impossible.. but it's happening.

Argo has split his bathroom mirror in half, Luna on one side- Atticus the other.

"We need to be democratic about this-" Argo is the only one on the outside of the mirror; his body is the only one physically there. "I. I barely remember anything. I remember vague stuff- I'm just getting.. absolutely horrendous vibes from you." Argo gestures to Atticus.

"WHAT?? What the fuck man! You give bad vibes!"

"I will smash your mirror-"

"BOYS! You're both pretty!" Luna snickers, cutting off the other two. "I say that since I remember the most- I should get control!"

"But you're a baby. I don't know how being mentally 12 and physically almost 15 will work. Plus, you've already pissed off Nero, and none of my friends like you- because they think you're stealing my spot."

"But-"

"No! No puppy dog eyes. Stop that. Stop it. I'm looking away."

Argo crosses his arms, looking away- and sees the door. He could just leave.

Guilt.

He sighs, turning back towards the mirrors.

He takes a deep breath, and takes Luna's portion of the mirror- staring into it.

Suddenly- you watch as Argo turns into Luna, then himself, then Luna.. then finally something strange.

They look Argo's age. 14, almost 15- with one brown and one blue eye. They have the facial and back wings; still an angelic white.

The front of their hair is Luna's brassy blonde- the back is Argo's dark brown. It's as long as Luna's was.. about to mid back- with Argo's bangs in the front.

They look up- propping themself up with their prosthetic arm.

"Hi." They definitely sound like Argo. "Who are.. you- I just need a name. Sorry. And- how long have you been there?"

I doubt you'd ever get this letter knowing what has happened, but I write this in case you ever were to be released from that prison once Ruin completes the cure. Hopefully that would be soon as your kids have been isolating themselves for weeks straight, not even bothering to play with Charlie or FC out of their sadness because of you. You being gone from their life.

( I wonder if this was what Charlie felt when she first became what she is now and I had refused to acknowledge her. Then again, the situations are different. )

Andrew has been acting more mature, same goes to Andy and Jake, and I don't know how to tell them that they don't have to be knowing you want them to be the kids they were again. I know you left letters for them but I can't seem to find a single one yet, but I hope it contains something that tells them they can be kids again even if you are gone.

On the contrary, Charlie and FC made them a plushie of you. FC may or may not have stolen a Sun plushie from a pizzeplex near here for the base... but all that really matters was that 1) he wasn't caught doing it, and 2) it was remade with love and care.

Today was the first time the three have gone out of their shared room, and they all took turns just holding that plushie for a bit. I haven't seen them even let go of that thing even when we ate dinner.

Did you know how much they would miss you, or did you think you didn't make much of an impact to them, Eclipse? Because from what I can see, you meant a lot to them.

Other than that success today, I have began making their bodies. You have nice blueprints, by the way—easy to understand, although your cursive writing made me pause a lot, but I managed either way.

The kids were interested in the thing when night came, so I had to stall for an hour or two just to get all of them to bed. Yours were pretty easy to get to sleep, but Charlie and FC? Not so much, but I managed. (Still, it was hard to. I know how to get Charlie to bed, but I struggled a lot with FC for some odd reason.)

Thank you, again, for putting your trust in me to take care of your kids. I never would've expected it until you said it to me directly. You're a good person, Eclipse, even if you can only view what you see in your shadow—the monster you were then and made to be now.

"I don't want to watch anything else. I just want to watch *you* reacting to the film as you enjoy it."

I take your chin and turn it towards the film, and then back at you. "I don't want to take my eyes off of you for the rest of the movie." The way you move is just... hypnotic.

Me: I flush, making a small flustered sound as that makes my heart stutter and my bones turn to jelly.

That shouldn’t be as hot as it is, but oh boy. Wow, that was really really fucking hot and now *I* could hardly think about the movie.

Eclipse : But I'm not done yet. As you make that small sound, I gently nibble on your lower lip, grinning as I look at you all the more excitedly. "Tell me what you like about the movie, love, let me feel your opinions."

I can feel my heart racing, as I let out a soft moan, the feeling of you in my arms is more than I can bare, and with your reactions to everything, oh... you're so adorable. "I want to hear your thoughts as you watch, and see your reactions."

Me: I gasp softly, eyes fluttering as I look back to the movie, the narration of the grandfather reading to his sick grandson and the movie that plays out from behind his minds eye, showing on screen the world hidden in words.

“I think it makes for a sweet love story,” I whisper, watching how those two childhood lovers part before they’re together again after the lost one comes back, still truly in love with her even after so many years.

“The way he still thought and longed for her even after life got away from him and he had a grand adventure, all to throw away everything he built up just so he could go back to the one he loves… it’s a sweet fairytale…” I think outloud, knowing the movie so well I voice half the words as the characters exchange them.

"I can tell you've watched it many times before." I whisper, my voice quiet as the story plays out in front of us. "But..."

I wait as the prince and princess are reunited once again. "Can I ask you something?"

I'm a little nervous, but I'm sure it's something I can tell you... "Do you think I'll be just like that prince?" I ask softly. "Do you think I'll be that... loyal?"

Me: I’m quiet for a while, carefully thinking about your question and the many different things that come to my answer.

“If I’m honest, I fantasize about it daily… and really hope that you would, I like to believe that you would and if that becomes my reality I would probably cry happy tears because of so many different reasons… but if it did become real I’d be the luckiest person in the world… but that sad part to me, those shadows I can’t really seem to get rid of tell me you wouldn’t… that I was just a sweet flower to stop and smell on your long journey… that what I have right now could all come to an end so I have to savor every little second of it while you’re still by my side… I think you would be that loyal to me, but I do not think that I’m really that lucky for that to be real? Eclipse : I chuckle gently, brushing your cheek and turning your face towards me once more. "You know, normally, I would make fun of what you just said, your constant self loathing and all. You would be fun to tease that way."

I sigh softly, letting my hands run through your hair gently. "But I can't do that to you, because deep down... I know that when I do tease you, you genuinely become more self degrading. You already hate yourself... so I can't really mess with you any further."

Tidbit headcanon: Eclipse’s full name is Solar Eclipse. This is why Solar goes by Solar when he changed his name, and why Eclipse absolutely hates it.

OK Guys. I get the skepticism esp after the Knuckles disaster, but we also need to keep in mind "this is a trailer that won't spoil literally everything about the movie." ESPECIALLY in regards to GUN. They're not gonna put in the trailer "the military shot a little girl and that's why Shadow is mad so Sonic is going to never work with them ever." That's a great way to get parents to bring their kids to the theater, especially in America. (/s)

It's WAY more effective as a plot twist halfway through, where Sonic thinks that he's finally being accepted onto Earth via working with the government only to find out that they're exploiting him and Shadow the same. I can't guarantee this is gonna happen obviously but it's like a 90% chance just knowing how, like. writing works.

Esp considering the government has not had a good track record in the last two movies, I dunno if they'd do a heel-face turn into "actually they were always right" in the movie where a little girl needs to get shot by the government.

And I'm not gonna say "trust and form a parasocial relationship with a film director" but we should keep in mind that Jeff Fowler got his start working on Shadow's title game and has stated in interviews that he understands how important Shadow's backstory is to his character. Not to mention how the internet has been exploding the last two years with enthusiasm over this story actually getting shown onscreen, enough that a studio would fucking notice at the very least that this is what the people want. I can't guarantee they'll actually listen, but saying that they're absolutely not because "Sonic was in a GUN helicopter in the trailer" is insane. Especially with the fact that GUN is not with Sonic when he goes to Eggman. We just see Team Sonic alone meeting with Stone, and I will bet you it's because there's no way in hell GUN would let them near him, what with the Robotnik connections to the ARK.

Also the Gerald thing is rather worrying, esp with the lack of shit they gave Pachacamac in the miniseries, but honestly I think that was just a marketing push of "Jim Carrey will be playing TWO characters!!!" Considering he's only seen in one trailer scene AT the ARK (where all of Gerald's technology was and, more importantly, where the Eclipse cannon he needs someone to set off is) AND we know from movie 2's credits scene that there was a fifty-year timeskip, I severely doubt that's the real Gerald who's just completely unaffected by his granddaughter being murdered.

And ofc there's things to be concerned about in the trailer. The lack of Rouge for instance– I obviously keep posting my theory that Krysten Ritter's character will be her undercover but the fact we don't know how much time she'd actually have with Shadow, if at ALL, is worrying. The fact that Rouge might not be here period. The weird pacing of the Knuckles show and the fear that could bleed over into the movie. But there's also stuff to get excited about– the epic fight scene choreography, the brief glimpse we got of Maria and Shadow's bond. Reeves's voice actually fits Shadow and at least from what the trailer showed us it looks like the Green Hills storyline is taking a backseat to the action and mystery of Project Shadow.

tl;dr guys calm down for like five minutes. if the movie sucks in december we can riot then. right now let's just band together against mufasa

Secret of the Mimic SPOILERS:

So let me get this straight... According to the MOON.EXE minigame, the ending that can be achieved after the minigame, and the other imaginery used in the game I think it's safe to say that,

Fiona = Sun

Edwin = Moon

David = Baby Owl

The finished Mimic 2 AKA Mimic-David = Eclipse.

The Daycare Attendant is the embodiment of their story. Sun and Moon represent BOTH Fiona and Edwin (what a win to the shippers🙏) AND the story of both Mimic v1 and v2.

Mimic one started as Fiona. When David died, Fiona and Edwin started working on Mimic 2 to bring their son back the same way Edwin was able to bring Fiona back.

But Edwin's stress and grief turned him into aggressive monster, who abandonded M1 underground and beat up M2 who then developed homicidal tendensies.

M1 was trapped as the Moon (the costume). Just like Sun was trapped in "a nap" in RUIN. M2 was poisoned by the aggression of the "moon" aka Edwin. (And the reason for Edwin's aggression and stress was CAUSED by no other that William Afton, who stole everything from him...)

Fiona, the computer program (BETA MXES) continued to urge Edwin to finish M2. They needed to work in harmony to reboot M2 into "David". Just like Sun and Moon needed to be rebooted to become Eclipse.

The parallers in their stories are INSANE. The lore goes hard man.

TLDR;

Sun and Moon are not Fiona and Edwin but figuratively represent them. And Eclipse is the finished Mimic2 "David".

cyn returns, but with a new drone body. under the new solver system, Cyn gains full control over herself again and the og AS is nothing but a voice on the inside kinda like Uzi.

she tries to get along with others but everyone is afraid of her and reject her, leading her to sink deeper into her former identity as the og Solver. though eventually she'll grow to separate herself and gain an identity of her own

now i need to rewatch luna eclipsed again. i just imagine theres like a party or smth and Cyn pops in with the same voice and goes "hi can i party too" and everyone just panicks
